Sassafras Springs Vineyard is a wedding venue located in Northwest Arkansas. Sassafras has won Best of the Best for Wedding Venues every year since opening in 2014. The exquisite 70-acre property caters to events of all sizes and includes the beautiful vineyard, Chapel Ruins, newly renovated Event Center, Veranda, and Peacock Room. With grounds that feature unique event spaces, both indoor and outdoor, Sassafras Springs Vineyard offers a picture-perfect setting for weddings and events.
Whether you would like to have an intimate event with 30 of your closest friends and family, or a 300 person all out bash, Sassafras Springs Vineyard has a place for you! The Winery has five attached patios shaded under a canvas of large trees; each one giving you a perfect setting for engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and more. The Chapel Ruins is an open-air chapel with historic architectural features and seating for up to 300 guests. When it is too hot, too cold, or raining, the Veranda is a perfect option for your ceremony. You can even use the Veranda for beautiful, moonlit dinner overlooking the vineyard. The Event Center was once a horse stables that now provides an elegant setting for wedding receptions. Sassafras Springs Vineyard also features the Peacock Room above the venue, where couples can get ready and watch their guests as they arrive.

Book your special day, event, party, get together, here!! Everything about working with the team at Sassafras Spring was lovely.
We had a small wedding off-site and had our reception hosted in the Production Room; a very beautiful modern building just behind the tasting room. From the get-go, everything about the planning process was communicative and accommodating. They have a wonderful online portal where you can very easily chat back-and-forth about questions and requests. What they include on top of the space rental was above and beyond in terms of quality for the tables, chairs, and place settings. They are so highly regarded across local vendors that you are guaranteed a wonderfully smooth and hiccup free special day.
Also….fantastic wine! I honestly could not have asked for more out of this venue and their team.

We had our wedding at Sassafras a couple weeks ago and it was everything we could have asked for! The venue is stunning, and the staff as amazing. Alexis’s communication throughout the process was topnotch and she was so helpful. The bartenders the night of were amazing and so kind. Having the cabins on-sight were also a game changer as we did not have to leave the venue. We definitely recommend having any event out at Sassafras!

I recently had my wedding at Sassafras Springs Vineyard and I loved it! There was plenty of room at the venue for our guests to wander around before the ceremony started and they also have a lot of decorations that can be used for free. I was slightly disappointed with the amount of fees that were added onto our bill. We did not have alcohol and we were charged a fee for having water, tea, and lemonade for our guests. However, the owners of the venue do an amazing job of keeping the grounds clean and tidy. It was such an amazing day and the employees at Sassafras Springs helped make it happen!

Everyone we worked with at Sassafras was fantastic. We were able to meet with them easily and have all our concerns or questions answered. Thank you Sassafras for being the PERFECT venue for the wedding of our dreams!! We booked immediately after our tour after seeing about 5 other venues. It was clear they were professionals and had everything we would need and more. Our contact Alexis was easy to reach and very informative the entire year leading up to our wedding. The bartenders for our event December 10th exceeded all expectations to ensure everyone was taken care of and even stayed to help answer questions for cleanup after our event! We got to meet the owner, Cheryl, multiple times who showed us nothing but kindness and hospitality.
If you are considering booking Sassafras be conscious that you will need to purchase all alcohol through their supplier. This caused us to go over our budget on drinks a bit because it was more expensive than the liquor stores in the area for the same brands. They are transparent about this and their prices in the contract, but it can be easy to miss little details like this with all they provide!
We chose the veranda for our ceremony and it was absolutely perfect for our winter wedding! They even had the reception stables decorated with lights (indoor and outdoor) due to the holiday season. It was the best surprise and really embraced the season. We used many items from their décor closet which saved us money on decorating while helping us achieve the look we wanted.
If you book this venue you will not be disappointed. There is so much to consider when booking, but I hope these details give you some insight as you make your decision!

An incredible wedding venue. The ability to rent the lodge and stay on property made it very special. Staff was friendly, easy to work with, and helpful throughout the process. So many beautiful spots to take pictures and we loved being able to hold the ceremony and reception in two spots but within walking distance to make it easy for our guests. The majority of our guests were from out of town so this made it much easier!

What an amazing time we had at the Sassafras Venue this past weekend. The site was beautifully decorated and cleaned prior to arriving to decorate for the wedding! Gorgeous venue. We had several custom things added from the venue. Although we have not seen our photos yet, there’s no way they won’t be gorgeous. The chapel is unique. The available space for photos is large and offers multiple areas for groups. We had a blast at the reception. We had 120 guests with a live band. The Stables were full of dancers, and the veranda allowed space for guests who preferred a quieter place to mingle. Perfect!

We fell in love with this venue the minute we pulled in the parking lot. Having two separate venues helped out tremendously with my guest and the flow of my day. Everyone including our immediate family members could all get ready together at the venues and no one had to leave. Everyone kept in contact with us and double check all of our request and needs. And our day of assistant was very helpful. I liked that they offered decor with the venues rental. All amazing and I didn’t want any other place to have my wedding.

We loved having our wedding here. Everyone was so accommodating & helpful through the whole process. The venue is stunning and made for gorgeous photos. There are so many different places to take pictures there, you end up with so many that look totally different! The peacock room ended up being an amazing place for my husband and I to take a minute to ourselves right after getting married, it was the perfect touch!

Sassafras was the perfect location for our wedding! We were unable to use the chapel as planned due to rain, but so thankful for the new covered veranda! It actually worked out better, and the ceremony overlooking the vineyard was beautiful! The owner and staff are very kind and easy to work with! Could not have been more happy with the way everything turned out!

If you're looking for a beautiful venue that is elegant, but outdoorsy, this is the place. The chapel is breathtaking even with VERY minimal decor. Speaking of decor, you don't need to go out and spend your money...They let you use anything they have already on the property at no charge!! The recent expansion off the back of the stables provides a covered option for an outdoor wedding that stays in line with the vibe of the entire property. The owners and operators are extremely kind and helpful all throughout the process. I can't imagine what my big day would've been if I'd been at any other venue!

We had the best experience with Sassafras!!! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, especially the owners of the property. We loved all the spaces we were able to use on the land and so did all of our family and friends. We got so many complaints on our venue and also on how good the wine was! Sassafras felt like the right location for us as soon as we got there. We are very happy we choose Sassafras for our special day!

I loved hosting a bridal shower for my friend at Sassafras Springs Vineyard. Cheryl and her team are so accommodating! They even called me that morning to ask if we wanted to move it inside because it was going to be in the 90s that day (we did have it inside and so thankful). They had decor available in case we wanted it, and it looked so beautiful that we hardly added anything to it. It was a perfect atmosphere for the shower!

We loved the venue and so did our guests. I still have people commenting on what a beautiful venue and what a great time they had. The Ruins and the décor at the Stables for the reception were perfect. Sarah, at Sassafras, was a big help with vendors and helpful insight during the planning process. Sasaafras is a truly awesome place for a wedding ceremony and reception! They have multiple options both indoors and out. There is a lodge on site for the couple or family to stay overnight in. Sassafras is such a beautiful location for a wedding! With their recent additions, you have so many options for ceremony location with each location having a different feel (intimate for smaller weddings, bright and natural for the simple chic bride, or religious/traditional at the chapel ruins) They have also added a lodge on the property which makes it a great way to connect and stay close with out of town guests or an awesome oasis for the bride and groom post-wedding. They have access to a ton of decor, plates, glasses, etc that you are able to use that are on hand which makes it an easy choice. They also have an in-house coordinator if you have not found one yet or decide you need one after all last minute. This is truly a unique and all inclusive venue!

As soon as I stepped out of my car, I knew Sassafras is where I wanted my wedding. The grounds and Chapel are so beautiful. We didn’t even have to decorate much at the ceremony because the Chapel itself is stunning. They just finished the patio extension off the reception area and it was perfect for cocktail hour. I loved that it was covered because it gave me piece of mind that in case it rained, we had a covered ceremony option. The “Barn” area was perfect for our reception and this venue has a ton of decor items they allow you to use at no additional cost. Kristi was great to work with and made planning my wedding a breeze. You will not be disappointed if you choose this venue.

The staff was so helpful and sweet through the whole process, even letting us tour the venue multiple times before the wedding day to plan decorations and everything. They helped us get everything out and set up and were super understanding with all of the changes we made. The venue is stunning and so easily transformed into whatever style you want. Everything was so clean and in great condition, I’m so glad we chose this venue for our big day!

I honestly can't say enough about how beautiful this venue is. The owners have become close friends and I have now photographed around a dozen weddings out here. Everything from the staff, the grounds, and the wine are perfectly curated to attract and attend to great clients. We love the way the light falls in the afternoons behind the vineyards and love dancing along side our couples feeling like we're in the middle of no where and then just being a few minutes out of the heart of Northwest Arkansas! If I could give six stars I would!

Sassafras is a beautiful venue for a wedding which we and our guests really enjoyed, and for that they get 3 stars. But if you’re considering having your wedding here, you just might want to consider a few things. SSV does not go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Because they are a popular and desired venue, they don’t have to. My bridal shoot (3 hours included with the price of the venue) was scheduled for a Monday when the venue was closed, and I was assured I’d be able to take photos all around the grounds. When I arrived with my photographers, it turned out they had booked a wedding that evening. I had to change in the kitchen in the tasting room, and I was only allowed to take photos in a restricted area (not in the chapel ruins or by the pretty grape vines). The wine they serve, they charge you around $20-25 a bottle ($275 per case) for wine that it’s $6 a bottle at the store. Yes that is nearly QUADRUPLE the price. The night of the wedding, SSV wanted to keep my $500 deposit because there were flower petals left on the ground in the chapel from my flower girls. I know that the staff has turned over some since my wedding in 2016, so I’m hopeful that things have gotten a bit better. Again, it’s a beautiful venue. Maybe I was naive in thinking that they actually do care about you, but unfortunately I felt that they do not.

We very rarely have a Monday wedding and we are so very sorry that you were not able to shoot your bridal portraits as planned. Our wine is not $6 per bottle in the store. We produce and bottle Sassafras Springs Vineyard wine on site and there is no wine that we carry that is $6 at the store. We are voted best wedding venue in 2017 by NWA Democrat Gazette , Citiscapes, Celebrate and Best Arkansas wedding by the Knot. We are sorry for any disappointments that you have. Please come see us for your Anniversary and we will go above and beyond for you.

Our wedding was magical! Everything was perfect right down to the staff that was so accommodating. Everyone said that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended!
We also had our rehearsal dinner on the patio. The temperatures were supposed to be really cool so Sassafras called and gave us a few options to keep our guests comfortable! It too was perfect!
We are so glad we chose Sassafras for both our wedding and the rehearsal dinner!

This was the perfect place for my wedding! It was like a destination wedding and yet conveniently located for my guests. Everyone loved the winery. It felt like we were getting marriend in Napa or Sonoma or Italy.

We had a wonderful experience working Amy Alexander, the event coordinator at Sassafras, who continuously answered my phone calls and was always upbeat and positive. I knew before I was even engaged that I wanted my wedding at Sassafras Springs Vineyards. The location is absolutely beautiful and is great for accommodating an outdoor wedding but having a great rain back up plan (since Arkansas weather is completely unpredictable). Everyone that came to the wedding raved about how beautiful the venue was, and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Wouldn't have had our wedding anywhere else, and what I love even more is that now I can go back there for fun events and to have a glass of wine and remember our special day!

My husband and I chose Sassafras Springs Vineyard to be our wedding and reception venue for our September 2016 wedding. The space is lovely – the chapel "ruins" are a unique setting for Arkansas, and the barn is large and air conditioned.
One thing of note is that the vineyard does keep their tasting room open and allows customers to walk the grounds even when there is a private event. It was a bit strange when my husband and I were doing our first look on the grounds to have a crowd of people (who weren't our photographer and videographer) watching us, but I suppose there are worse things.
Ultimately were very happy with our wedding day!
