Sausalito catering was absolutely excellent for our wedding of 300 held at our home. They were flexible, professional and the food was delicious and plentiful. They cleaned up after themselves and packaged all food in an organized manner. I️ would definitely use them again.

Sausalito made the most delicious food for our wedding day. From our first tasting with them, we knew we were in good hands. Charlotte was AMAZING leading up to, and was there on our big day helping to make sure everything went perfect. We even added on a late night snack that everyone loved! I will be frequenting the restaurant because of how goof their food is! I would highly recommend Sausalito!

We would give 100 stars for this review if we could. Working with Sausalito's was hands down the best experience. Charlotte is absolutely amazing. She's professional, easy to get ahold of, quick to respond, and made sure every detail of our day was perfect. She always came to check in and see if we needed anything, a drink, more food, etc. We got so many compliments on the food for cocktail hour and for the dinner. Would definitely recommend. Used Sausalito catering for wedding reception dinner 3/26/24 at Ariel International Center. Food was perfect. I did not believe how perfectly they cooked the beef, especially- based on my numerous bad experiences with tough, stringy fatty beef at other wedding reception dinners. The salmon was also cooked perfectly. Guests repeatedly came to tell me how much they enjoyed their dinners. My daughter appreciated how Sausalito communicated with her and provided taste-testing so that she could select the dinner offerings. They did not act hurried nor rushed the conversations needed to start the process. I would hire them again.

We really cannot say enough positive things about Sausalito. For one thing, the food was incredible. We had so many people come up to us raving about the food - it was delicious, the portion sizes were perfect, and the wait staff was top notch. The price is fair, too! The food and service aside, it was truly a delight working with Charlotte. Of all the vendors and professionals we worked with, she was a breath of fresh air - communicative, energetic, patient, and was the one person we felt we could actually rely on. She took on more than she had to and I'm sure more than we were even made aware of behind the scenes. Thank you so much for all you did for us!

Sausalito was an amazing company to work with for our wedding. They wowed us from our first tasting. They were ready to create any meal we wanted for our wedding. They welcomed us back for a second tasting to ease our mind on our decision. Even when the inevitable hiccups came around, they were ready to do whatever needed to be done to make our special day perfect. Charlotte is an absolute god sent who helped us more than we could have ever asked. She made our day run so smoothly and put our fires along the way. The food was amazing and we had so many compliments on the menu and services provided by them. We definitely recommend going through Sausalito for any event!

Our tasting with Babu and Charlotte was so much fun and the food was delicious. The communication throughout planning was excellent. Out of any vendor we hired, Charlotte responded the quickest. Because we live out of town, we could only meet on certain days, and Charlotte was always accommodating. A few weeks before the wedding she toured the venue with us to make sure everything was that it needed to be and provided valuable insight. On the day of the wedding, Charlotte was there to make everything run smoothly, even when we were delayed on our timeline. She stayed till the very end to make sure we had everything we needed. At every step, she was encouraging, communicative and flexible. We so appreciate all of Sausalito’s hard work.

Everything about Sausalito was perfect. The food was hot, big portions and great reviews from our staff. Charlotte was our POC and she was exceptional.

I cannot say enough good things about Sausalito Catering. They were a dream to work with from the very beginning. Charlotte was our main point of contact and she was FABULOUS in every which way. She was quick with her responses, thorough, and made the entire process so seamless. And she was just so kind too! It felt like I was working alongside a friend. And the food!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible. I've had multiple people tell me it was the best wedding food they have ever had. We knew from our tasting this food was something special and we were so excited to showcase it to our guests and Sausalito did not disappoint on site. I loved Sausalito and working with Charlotte! She was amazing the entire process. She made sure that every detail was accounted for. Food was amazing, service was just as great and everyone was so accommodating and professional. I will definitely be considering Sausalito fir future events. Charlotte and team were great to work with. We used Sausalito as both the caterer and bartenders for our wedding at a unique off site location. They were extremely responsive and very patient with all of our questions. Their menus were so unique and portion sizes were not your typical wedding portions - tons of food! They also held true to our costs in a high inflationary environment and for that alone I would recommend the team. I would encourage the team to be upfront in initial meetings regarding what is included and what is not in terms of both the catering and bartending service - I would think of random things along the way in terms of dessert plates, bar wash inclusions, etc, and I think it would be helpful if they explicitly spelled some of this out in their marketing materials. Our only issue dealt with the timing. Our wedding was delayed for unforeseen circumstances, which inherently pushed back the timing the remainder of the day. The team was very upfront regarding when they will or will not serve both dinner and alcohol, but I would encourage them to be a bit more flexible with timing if the hosts ask (serve during speeches etc). Between a delayed start time and speeches that went far longer than expected, us trying to see the people we were unable to see during cocktail hour, food was then being served much later than we would have hoped for (which we were upfront with trying to serve asap), causing some of our guests to have lukewarm/room temperature food. Aside from temperature, we received many compliments that the food was cooked to peoples liking with great flavor. Their pricing is fair, the team was professional, and people really enjoyed the bartenders, and they were excellent in terms of setting up the venue the day before, etc. Thank you!

I used Sausalito catering for my wedding and could not be happier. Well priced, food was absolutely incredible, and the staff & Natalie the day of were outstanding. Definitely made the day stress free.

There are so many wonderful things I can say about our caterer! Let’s start off with the food! Do yourself a favor and do a tasting purely so you can eat their food twice because it’s so good! We worked with Charolette and she a dream vender to work with. She cared about every detail as much as we did! She was friendly and not only made sure everything tasted good but made she we had peace of mind when we went through our timeline and overall flow of the reception. Take it from someone who planned every single detail of their wedding having Charlotte and knowing she had everything covered with confidence really helped me enjoy my special day! We were very grateful to work with Sausalito and 10/10 would recommend other brides and grooms to use them too!

We had a wonderful experience with Sausalito for our wedding. Natalie was an absolute rockstar and I could not recommend her enough. She worked her butt off throughout our entire event and went above and beyond to make sure things were going smoothly and we had everything we needed - she even fluffed out my dress before I walked down the aisle. Highly recommend Natalie to be point person if you have Sausalito as your caterer! Their staff was friendly, food was great and we would recommend them for any event!

Sausalito Catering went above and beyond on our wedding day! The food was outstanding and the staff members were so fun and professional. From set-up prior to the ceremony to after our send-off, the staff were so awesome to work with and laughed with us as if we’ve been friends for years. Special shout-out to Natalie who made sure our day was perfect! She went above and beyond during the planning process and on our wedding day. Sausalito catering was with us since day one of planning. They helped us so much with the planning and reassuring us about our big day. Babu was honest and his costumer service was impeccable. That type of costumer service was reflected also by Charlotte. She was absolutely amazing, she helped me through every step of the way up until the very end of the wedding day with planning and coordinating. She did an impeccable job with Organizing everything and was so supportive and KIND and compassionate. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to coordinate our day. Charlotte and Natalie both went above and BEYOND !!!! We were taken care of all the way through and we are forever thankful they coordinated our big day. The food was absolutely AMAZING, all the guests said they’ve never had anything like it at a wedding and we’re overly impressed!

Sausalito's Catering -- and especially Charlotte Sigel -- made our daughter's wedding truly a fairytale affair. The team at Sausalito's, along with the staff at Forever Blueberry Barn in Medina, worked together to have the ceremony in the barn and then quickly convert it for the reception, accompanying nearly 200 guests. Charlotte and her team was very accommodating and attentive, answering our countless questions and handling many details and requests over the last 15 months. From having us come in February downtown for a delicious food tasting session to driving out twice to Medina to meet us, as well as being there on the rehearsal evening and from early morning to late at night on the wedding day, they were always professional and helpful. They prepared and served nearly 200 meals in 90-degree heat, and the only concern was that it took a while for some to get their meals - but that was understandable. We were very pleased with the price, service and compassion we received and would recommend Charlotte and her team to others planning a wedding! Thank you for all you all did!

The food was honestly delicious. Our tasting before our wedding was wonderful. Natalie, in particular, was amazing to work with (we wish we had worked with her more!). Sausalito was flexible with food allergies and dietary restrictions and offered a wide menu. Now, the cons, some of which were significant: - The owner and his staff misplaced the plates for cake service (we gave the plates to them before our ceremony), so he made my now-wife and me look around for the plates (which his staff had misplaced) during our reception. - Despite what was promised to us, the leftovers were not packed up for us to take home. Instead, Sausalito left with no warning, taking all leftover food with them. - When Sausalito left, they just abandoned the remaining cake in the kitchen. It was left for us to discover, pack up, and clean up. - Dinner was served late. - Despite what they promised and confirmed with us, they did not bring cake to each table, so some tables never received cake. - The catering manager assigned to us, Charlotte, was not very responsive. Would we use Sausalito again, if we did it over? Probably not. The cons outweighed the pros and caused unnecessary stress on our wedding day. The significant lack of professionalism leads me to believe that Sausalito is overrated.

Babu and his team were amazing to work with! From our initial call with Babu we knew we picked the best caterer. We wanted make sure we incorporated the Indian culture into our American wedding and Babu knew exactly what to do. Having 4 different dinner options was great and everyone at our wedding raved about the food! Charlotte was so easy to work with and made sure every detail was covered before our big day. The team that worked our wedding made sure evereything went smoothly with a smile on their faces.

We used Sausalito for our wedding 5/7/22. We had so many compliments on the quality of the food and the portion sizes. They were easy to communicate with, they were timely and efficient. The serving staff was very nice and respectful. The prices are very fair and the options are endless. Babu, the owner was very involved and talked with us directly on multiple occasions. We could not have been any happier with Sausalito.

WHAT AN AMAZING TEAM!!!!! Sausalito was fabulous, and our guest have not stopped raving about the food and the service. WE absolutely loved working with Charlotte and her team, they were stunning. We even had a hick-up with alcohol and their team managed seamlessly. If I had to do it all over again, Sausalito would be my first choice. They were by far the best catering team we coordinated with, from our initial tasting, to a second tasting, to helping with our postponed date, and managing all the set-up of not only food but all the dinner supplies as well as all of our random extras (The Old Courthouse Venue has nothing but they were well prepared with EVERYTHING), they were amazing to work with. Would recommend them for any and all party needs anytime!!!

Sausalito did a perfect job on our September 2021 wedding reception at Lake Affect. Communication was excellent leading up to the event, execution day-off was flawless, and the food was the best I have ever had at a large event. Without an on-site kitchen at our venue, we were stunned by how good the food was. Our guests uniformly raved about the quality of their meals.

I could not have higher praise for the Sausalito Catering crew and the fantastic job they did catering our wedding. The guests all raved about the food, particularly the short ribs, saying it was on par with high quality restaurant food and far better than the typical "wedding food." The entire crew, including Babu and Charlotte were absolute rockstars to work with and made everything run absolutely seamlessly. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially considering all that is offered and in comparison with other caterers in the area. I would recommend them for any event!

By far the easiest and best decision we made during the wedding planning! Loved that we were able to pick out 4 meals (fish, chicken, beef and vegetarian) and the food options were very unique versus your traditional wedding food. The owner Babu, Charlotte, and the entire catering team were fabulous to work with. Our guests are still raving about the food and the service. We cannot thank them enough for making our guests experience so special.

My husband and I booked Sausalito for our May wedding in Dover and we could not have asked for a better caterer. At the tasting we were blown away by how genuine and kind both Babu and Charlotte were, and the food was delicious to boot. Through and through communication was thorough and rapid, and I never had any doubts throughout the course of planning. Charlotte coordinated the day of the event and the communication leading up to it. She did a wonderful job, was always nearby checking in to make sure all was well and to see if we needed anything, and she made us feel so well taken care of. The staff was very professional and quick in serving our guests, as well as accomodating order of serving preferences. We received many compliments on the food, which was delicious. We thankfully made sure we budgeted time to actually eat our meal, as it was too good to be wasted. Beyond the fabulous food, communication, and professionalism, the price point for the offerings was incredible. We were able to serve plated meals with a selection between four entrees, which was a wonderful perk for our guests. Above all, we couldn't be happier with our catering choice and would recommend to anyone/ would hire Sausalito again in a heartbeat.

Our daughter recently had a wedding at Ariel International, which gave us a choice of several caterers. Based on several recommendations, as well as their reputation, we selected Sausalito. We also were very impressed with their menu options as well as reasonable pricing. We first met the owner, Babu at the initial food tasting and were very impressed with the food quality, presentation and taste across the board, as well as Babu’s hands on approach in talking us through each dish and options. Based on this, we decided to make our initial deposit and work with Sausalito. Our exact statement during the tasting was that “If the food is half as good at the wedding as it was during the tasting, people will rave about it!” Well, no one was disappointed by Sausalito! After the tasting, we began working with Charlotte, the Catering Manager and worked very closely with her throughout the planning and the event to make sure every detail was just right. As a result of COVID restrictions and uncertainty in scheduling due to the NFL draft being in town, later in the process Sausalito also hosted our Rehearsal dinner. While this event was way less formal then the wedding the next night, the food, service and venue was top notch and very memorable. Babu and Charlotte were so accommodating and easy to work with throughout both events and truly followed through on every commitment they made to us both before we signed agreements with them and throughout the planning and actual events! For the wedding, we selected Steak and Shrimp, Airline Chicken, Salmon and a vegan option, Spinach and Mushroom Ravioli. They also accommodated our Gluten Free guests. All of these meals drew raves from attendees. The food was hot, service fast and presentation was beautiful. We made a couple new friends during this event in Babu and Charlotte and will definitely be stopping down at Sausalito on 9th for lunch or dinner, and will recommend Sausalito highly to our friends for their catering needs! Thank you Sausalito for helping make our daughter’s wedding extra memorable!

I can't say enough good things about our experience working with Sausalito. Not only was the food delicious, but the team was incredibly understanding and helpful when we had to downsize our wedding to a much smaller guest list. They went above and beyond to make sure we could pull off our original plan, and were always on hand to answer any questions as they came up. I would 100% recommend them as a caterer, and also encourage a visit to their restaurant for a bite!

I want to firstly thank Babu for being an incredible business owner. What a pleasure to work with his company. I used their catering service for my wedding and not only did they provide better food than any one of us could’ve imagined, but also helped us find a last minute venue after mine canceled within a month of my big day. Let me start by saying, Sausalito is the best caterer I have ever worked with. With Covid, we had to switch our wedding around 3 times! Our last change was to a gorgeous barn in Medina (Forever Farms) leaving us without a caterer, and Sausalito whipped up an AMAZING menu for us and coordinated the day, with only 3 weeks notice. The Sausalito team is professional, responsive, and catered to us to make sure our day ran smoothly and made us feel SO special. On top of all that the food is PHENOMENAL! We had Filet Mignon, Chicken Wellington, and Salmon with risotto, our guests are still raving about the food. They also worked with us to make a special late night bite that was delicious. The Sausalito Team truly saved our wedding and made it the best experience. They worked with our venue coordinator effortlessly and everything was perfect. Thank you to Babou and Charlotte for making it happen, we can not thank you all enough, it was truly the best day of our lives!

I cannot even express how INCREDIBLE Sausalito Catering was every single step of the way during our wedding planning process! COVID couples understand all too well, the added stress and uncertainty of these times forces you to shift and replan so many things, and they were amazing the entire time. Well before the pandemic, Sausalito came so highly recommended and truly lived up to their reputation. We had a wonderful time at our tasting with our parents and they made the planning process so smooth and enjoyable. Their prompt communication and quick problem solving was so appreciated by a COVID couple! Babu and Charlotte went above and beyond the few months leading up to our wedding as we navigated constant changes to safety guidelines and reception regulations. They were so professional, creative, and supportive as we made adjustments. They remained extremely optimistic no matter what new hurdle popped up and looking back, this is the reason why we were confident to move forward with our wedding. Two weeks before our wedding, we recieved a call from our venue which implied we may not be able to host our wedding there!! Babu and Charlotte immediately jumped on the phone, calling their contacts and getting back-up options ready for us just in case. They even took us out the same day to view another venue!!! Luckily our original wedding venue worked out, in large part due to the tireless efforts of Sausalito Catering to meet guidelines and seamlessly pivot when needed. Now to the reception :) We had a very specific vision for our wedding and lots of little details that were very important to us. Sausalito brought our vision to life and Charlotte made sure every single sign, place card, decor item, mask box, individual hand sanitizer bottles for tables (as those are now 2020 staples :) was in its perfect place! We received SO many compliments on how awesome the food was at our reception. This is NOT your typical "wedding food"... with Sausalito you are getting a high end restaurant-quality meal for every single guest. To quote my foodie father-in-law, "salmon can be hard to do in big quantities like a reception, but that was hands down the BEST salmon I've ever had!" We were also able to host our rehearsal dinner at Sausalito's restaurant space! Once again, they went above and beyond to make our special weekend perfect through the added stress of pandemic wedding planning. We had originally planned to have pasta stations set up for our guests, so once again Babu and Charlotte got creative and turned it into a fun "choose your dish" card from a list of awesome options :) Brides and grooms: I cannot recommend Sausalito Catering enough for weddings and events! You can be confident they are organized, professional, and experienced while also making your wedding day feel as exciting and as special as it should!

We can't recommend Sausalito enough! My husband and I tried several different caterers and fell in love with everything that Sausalito offered...the food was sooo good! We felt we were in such good hands with Babu and Charlotte; we had to make several adjustments to our plans due to COVID-19 and Sausalito was so incredibly understanding and flexible. We ended up shrinking our wedding down to 30 people who were extremely spaced out for the ceremony and reception. Not only was Sausalito happy to make this adjustment to our numbers, but they ensured that everything was safe for both the staff and guests. Our wedding day went extremely smoothly and Charlotte was always there to make sure we were able to sample our appetizers and had a full glass to drink. And our guests raved about the food. We are so happy that we went with Sausalito for our big day!

They did an amazing job at my wedding! They were so accommodating and made us feel so special on our wedding day. I don’t eat cake so they had ice cream just for me! I am so happy that we decided to use Sausalito. Charlotte, thank you for all of the personal touches!

Sausalito catered our wedding this past month in Cleveland. The tasting made it a no brainer- everything was delicious which made it hard to choose the menu. Their staff is super friendly, and they were very responsive throughout the planning process. The day of the event, the food came out really good and we received a lot of compliments on it!! They also provided a cake cutting service and helped pack up the left over alcohol so it was easily transportable after the event. The only downside was some details were missed- nothing detrimental to the day by any means so all is well, but some examples are... missing a salad dressing option that was confirmed on the menu, not putting salt and pepper on the table, using the wrong colored napkins, clearing water goblets too early, etc. They were apologetic about anything that was missed and their staff was attentive when things were brought to their attention. We just recommend being very clear with what you want/ need and making sure it’s in writing on the final contract. Overall, they were very nice to work with and the food came out tasty which is the most important part so we would definitely recommend them!

Sausalito Catering was a delight. We hired them to cater our daughter's wedding. Babu and Charlotte were both professional yet friendly throughout our planning for this event. The food served to our guests was prepared on site and was delicious. Even more surprising was how hot each dish arrived. Our guests kept complimenting us on our choice . They especially enjoyed the salmon entree. If you are looking for great food served at a reasonable cost be sure to consider Sausalito catering. You won't be disappointed!

We got married at the Old Courthouse and from the get-go were warned that only two vendors can really handle the venue. We went with Sausalito as they were better priced and the food was better. Not only was the food good during the tasting, but the food was good during the wedding as well--I found it to be restaurant quality food where typical wedding food usually comes out tasting a bit off. Babu handled everything day of, and the flip between ceremony and dinner went smoothly. Babu is laid back, friendly, and responsive. Despite the positive things, there were a few drawbacks: (1) the bar had a huge line during cocktail hour, and food service tended to take longer during dinner than we have experienced at other weddings. I am not sure if this was a staffing issue or courthouse issue. (2) Sausalito has you go through Linque for linens (discount was provided). Linque is great and your linens will look good. Babu warned us that some guests may accidentally take home some napkins and that we would get charged for it--which is understandable. However, Linque quoted the missing linens to be bread basket napkins and two tablecloths. We had to pick up this tab, even though it seems unlikely that a guest walked out with a whole tablecloth... Other than those issues, it was overall a favorable experience with more positives than negatives.

If there were an option to give more stars, I would. These guys are incredible. The tasting was organized, customizable, and thoughtful. The actual meal choices day of were prepared equally to these in taste and presentation. Everyone raved about the food & while I was also raving about the food - I was even more elated at the price which was far more competitive than any other high-end plated meal caterer in the area. These guys hold your hand the whole way. Babu and Charlotte KNOW weddings, and this was so comforting. Anything I forgot, they already planned for. Anything you would expect from a catering company was beyond expectations & they further exceeded these expectations with all of the extra things - little and big that they handled throughout the day (and weeks prior). I could not imagine anyone else catering my wedding.

Sausalito catered our wedding in August and was excellent! Everything was done with professionalism and was very organized. Charlotte made sure everything ran smooth and it did! And the food..... it was amazing! My favorite was the chicken parmigiana it was to die for! I would definitely recommend Sausalito for your wedding or any event!

There were so many options available and they were all delicious, it was hard to choose! And it came with 4 meal options in order to please all of our guests. Many other catering companies you had to pay extra for more options, but not Sausalito! Not to mention Charlotte was such a delight to work with! Thanks for making our special day even better! :)

We did food tastings with quite a few caterers and Sausalito was the clear winner; from quality of food to the responsiveness and professionalism of Babu and his team! From planning to execution, we were so impressed with Sausalito. Babu and company managed the process flawlessly and we can’t thank them enough. We have heard from so many of our guests that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding ... we got married in May and people are still talking about the food :) We would choose Sausalito 100x over again. You will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Sausalito’s. When we worked with Adam in the beginning things were great. But Adam left and things went down hill. My now husband and I were never contacted to say that Adam left or were introduced to our new point of contact. We had to call and email several times before finally getting someone’s name. The day before the wedding we were told a staff member came into the venue screaming and saying the F word that people who were working complained. Very unprofessional. The day of the wedding, they skimped on the apps during cocktail hour, I was told they only brought 1 cheese and fruit tray (approximately 200 guests). Then we ran out of both proteins during dinner where over 50 people did not eat before the food ran out. They were very ill prepared and my husband and I feel like we were slightly ripped off. I would not recommend them so people having large weddings. The food is good but the planning the day off was terrible.

Sausalito was great to work with from start to finish. Our guests complimented their food all night long. The beef bistro was cooked to perfection; e.g., could cut with butter/table knife!! The food was just as good as it was at the tasting. I really appreciated not having to pay the catering bill until a few days before the event so that we can make changes for cancellations (or additions) and not have to take a hit for wasted meals. Thank you!

Sausalito catering was helpful through most of the process to the wedding. We would have appreciated a little more responsive communication and review of their expectations with payment from the beginning. The food at our tasting was phenomenal while the food at our wedding was good. We had higher expectations for the food taste after our tasting. They set the bar high for themselves.

Babu and his crew did an excellent job catering our wedding. The food was fantastic and the portions were the perfect size to keep guests filled the whole night. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had! Babu went out of his way to check on us the day of and even went and got us drinks from the bar while we were eating. Food went out quickly and everything was warm when served. I highly recommend hiring Sausalito to do your wedding catering, other catering food won't compare! My husband and I planned our wedding while living out of state and understand how important reviews are so I would never steer another couple wrong. Babu and his team were amazing. Babu and his team lead took the time to meet with us three days before our wedding and were at our venue the day before mapping everything out despite having catered there before. They are just that meticulous. His team lead even sent me texts in the days before the wedding to ensure I didn’t have any questions. Then the service was great. The team made sure to serve my husband and I and our parents/ grandparents before everyone else and checked in to make sure the speed and flow was appropriate. The food was hot, delicious and filling which is rare for plated dinners at weddings. All of our guests were very impressed. They also provided bar service and their bartenders were professional and friendly. The only tip I would recommend is to ensure the wait staff are clear about the cake cutting and cookie table instructions. My husband and I didn’t set a clear time or instructions to serve cake which was our fault and so the staff was a bit in the dark l. But truly great service and food!
