We are so glad we chose Second Song as our DJ/MC for our wedding! From the beginning, Rob was on top of the emails and communication, and our first phone call with him sealed the deal! We loved watching all the videos of the DJs, it was so difficult to choose one. In the end, we are SO happy we went with Jordan B. He understood our vision and music styles so well. We have heard from all friends and family that the cocktail hour and reception were perfect. Jordan B took care of everything! and we were just dancing and vibing all night! We were also able to hire a pianist through Blitz Nation via Second Song and the songs he played during the ceremony was so beautiful. We would recommend Second Song to everyone!

Working with Second Song was an incredibly smooth experience. Even though we were planning a wedding across the country, it was an easy online process to pick a package and DJ, and then plan and work with our DJ Jeff (who was amazing, love you Jeff!) We went in not completely sure what we wanted, but got all the guidance and advice we needed through a very thorough planning form and discussion with our DJ. Day of the wedding, everything was totally seamless, we didn’t have to lift a finger. Genuinely wish we could give 6 stars.

We so enjoyed working with Keith who was excited and on top of it all. He was fantastic at emceeing and got all of the announcements perfect. I cannot recommend second song enough! Looking at vendors for our wedding, we were a bit overwhelmed by all the choices and options we could go with. We're very thankful we found Rob and Second Song as they made the process very streamlined. They work with a large selection of DJs so that we could find one that best fit out vibe while working within our budget. We ended up finding Connor, who helped make our wedding day exactly as we imagined. The dance floor was bumpin all night and we received several comments afterwards that it was the most fun dance floor they've been on. The best part is that they also provide other services like photobooths, lighting, etc. so that it was a one-stop shop for a few things we needed. I also want to highlight their customer service. They were very responsive leading up to the wedding, happy to answer any questions we had and providing excellent support. I would highly recommend Second Song to anyone else planning a wedding or event!

Second Song did a fantastic job at our wedding! I loved their helpful reminders once we booked them for key things that might have slipped my mind while planning the wedding process. Our DJ, Joey Moon, did a great job with setting up an interview of what we wanted for our wedding and following all of it! We had to pivot for some points during our wedding and he was so incredibly professional during all of it. He made our wedding memorable and I want to thank them for that!

We used Second Song for our wedding in Palm Springs. We could not be happier with the service provided by Rob and the team. They were personable, communicative, and organized from start to finish. They sent over a list of DJ options and we decided to move forward with DJ Fredy. Fredy was amazing! He kept the dance floor packed all night and catered the music to our taste perfectly. We can't recommend them enough!

They have a song planner that they send to everyone once you book them which is so through and helpful!! It covers every musical moment you may need in the event. They also have more than enough equipment so they can set up in multiple spaces without having to tear down and move rooms etc during the event. DJ Kai was great too! Our event went off without a hitch partly thanks to Second Song!

Second Song was super communicative and responsive during the planning process, and really made an effort to tailor the music to our specific vibe. Cale was great to work with and was able to create such a seamless mix of incredibly different genres. We had so many people compliment us on the music! Would definitely recommend Second Song and in particular Cale.

I got engaged towards the end of December 2023 and got married December 2024. As you can see, it is enough time, yet not enough time! I began planning our wedding around the end of February early March. We found our reception venue first, which ended up being the Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. Being Asian American, traditionally we usually hire those that we know; however, my husband and I were going for something different! Our venue gave us a list of trusted vendors they have worked with and we looked extensively through each of them. We felt the most warmth and friendliness from Rob (the owner). He answered each and every question we had at lighting speed. What I appreciate from Second Song was the simplicity and straightforwardness of their website and pricing. We knew exactly what we were going to pay and what we would be getting. We got their upgraded party package along with the 360 Photo Booth upgrade (which our guests ABSOLUTELY LOVED!) 360 photo booths have been around for a while, but many people have never experienced it until our wedding day which was awesome! The Photo Booth attendant Gio was awesome too! Rob asked us what our music preferences were and sent us a list of DJs that would suit our style. All the DJs were awesome, but we vibed the most with Fredy (DJ Shredy). The Second Song events team were very helpful in answering all our questions as well! DJ Shredy was extremely professional and thorough. He took his time to get to know us and what we wanted at our wedding. We had so many little changes and sent Fredy so many emails, but Fredy was very kind and receptive of all the changes/information. His patience is unmatched! He worked with our wedding coordinator during the reception and was able to professionally guide people through our wedding program! He never missed any marks or cues for our grand entrances, first dances, party games, etc! His music for cocktail hour was praised by our guests too! Music is such a big part of our lives and any event really and Second Song really delivered the best service for our special day! We loved how organized their business is and how on time Fredy, Chris and Gio were for their duties on our special day! My husband and I are over the moon happy with Second Song and DJ Shredy! We would 1 million percent recommend Second Song for ANY event! :] Thank you so much!

Second Song was fantastic to work with. Rob responded promptly and connected us with several DJs who matched our musical preferences. After interviewing a couple of candidates, we chose Connor, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Connor was incredibly fun to work with, had an exceptional ability to read the room, and ignited an unforgettable dance party. One of the venue staff even mentioned they'd never seen such an energetic wedding dance floor; Connor nailed the EDM playlist. Second Song also offers a variety of enhancements, including uplighting. We added the DMX uplights, which made a significant impact on the ambiance. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly elevated our wedding experience.

We were fortunate to have Cale as the DJ for our intimate wedding in Palm Springs, and he truly exceeded all expectations. My friends and I have never experienced a more vibrant, unforgettable dance party. My husband and I have a very distinct taste in music, and we were quite specific in our direction, leaning into favorites like LCD Soundsystem, 70s disco, Holy Ghost!, TR/ST, SOULWAX, Mr. Twin Sister, and classics from Prince, Steely Dan, Juvenile, Three 6 Mafia, Lil Wayne, and 50 Cent. Cale seamlessly blended our eclectic mix of genres, creating a perfect soundtrack for the evening. From the moment guests arrived, the dance floor came alive. He had an incredible ability to feel the energy of the crowd, expertly transitioning between nostalgic throwbacks and more unconventional tracks, while even adding his own inspired choices that became instant hits. What impressed us most was how much care and attention Cale dedicated to understanding the vibe we envisioned. His skill in reading the room and crafting a playlist that resonated with everyone made the night unforgettable. We can’t recommend Cale enough—he’s a true artist and a master at creating the perfect atmosphere for any celebration.

DJ Mac was so fun! He knew how to keep the party going with our wide range of genres. We are so happy with Second Song!

Second Song was great to work with! I had spent a lot of time talking with our original DJ about my vision for the wedding and unfortunately, he had a last minute emergency and couldn't make it. We were disappointed, but were very happy with the replacement DJ that Second Song sent. I was really grateful to be working with a company that was able to send a high quality back up and made sure that he had all of the notes & instructions given to the person originally signed. We had a great wedding and the DJ services were a huge part of that!

DJ Jordan was absolutely incredible and truly made our wedding unforgettable! From start to finish, he knew exactly what to play to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. We hired Kahai through Second Song for our wedding and he did an incredible job. He listened to all of our requests and created a great atmosphere at our wedding. He also coordinated very well with our wedding planner and made all the announcements without issues

Had the BEST experience with this team. Not only was it super easy to work with them & communicate our wants, we ended up getting everything we wanted and more!! The sparklers & uplighting added romance to our reception space. Our DJ kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire night with no breaks! It was a FABULOUS party and I so highly recommend them!!

DJ Rob was the absolutely best!! He and his team absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every phase of our wedding went off without a hitch. Leading up tot the weekend, the Second Song team was incredibly organized and collaborative. On the weekend of our wedding, Second Song was able to meet all of our needs! We didn't need a full DJ set up for our welcome event so we provided a playlist and the SS team set up the stereo system and supervised for the night. They also seamlessly coordinated with our onsite entertainment (synchronized swimmers). For the day of the wedding, the audio was perfect during the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. The dance floor was banger after banger, and the after party progressed perfectly into a great mix of EDM and middle school dance floor classics (in the very best way). DJ Rob exceeded our expectations!! 100/10 recommend Second Song if you are looking for your wedding DJ!!

Rob (CEO) has built a top-notch organization. We booked David Stewart for live guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and he crushed it. His talent is undeniable and we received countless compliments from our guests – two engaged couples even asked for his information to book him for their own weddings! For the reception, we opted for the DJ + Live Hybrid package, and it was such a "wow" factor. The energy was incredible and the dance floor was packed all night long – shoutout to DJ Kai! SecondSong also provided a photo booth and uplighting, which were both a hit with our guests. Overall, we can't thank the SecondSong team enough for making our wedding day so special. I loved working with Second Song! they were always very helpful when I needed answers to some questions and they respond pretty quickly. Connor was our DJ during our wedding and not only did he make sure the songs were great, he also came up to us a few times if we were okay. I asked him to make sure the after party was hip hop and to make it feel like a club and he definitely did not disappoint. The Photo Booth was a hit with all our guests. Overall, it was so lovely to work with them and I would always recommend them to my friends and family.

We used Second Song as our DJ and Saxophone Accompaniment for our wedding celebration dinner party. Second Song was recommended by our wedding planner. Right from the beginning it was clear why our wedding planner liked working with Second Song so much, their customer intake process is excellent. From inquiry to the event, Second Song has a solid process from helping you select which of their services you need to coordinating and executing their services for the actual event. They have all of their services shared clearly on their website and are very transparent about pricing along the whole way. They were very receptive to any questions I had, and I don't think any email was left unanswered for more than 12 hours. More often than not, I would receive responses to my emails in less than an hour. This was true before and after I signed my contract and paid a deposit. After submitting our musical tastes, Second Song provided a list of talent that best fit our preferences. Out of those, Azure G was our favorite DJ. We loved her SoundCloud and how she mixed music together. We had two touch points prior to our event. I actually completely missed our second touchpoint, and Azure was graciously able to reschedule our touchpoint prior to our event.  We really let Azure take the reigns with what music was played with some consideration to our high level preferences. Needless to say, music during our reception was great. We would hear songs come on during dinner, and I'd turn to my husband and say "this is great". Azure also was great in cuing our speeches and amping up our dance floor throughout the night. Our party included senior citizens and families with toddlers, so I knew that by the end of the night, only a fraction of our party would remain. I was so worried that our dance floor would be dead at the end of the night, but Azure brought the energy and knew to play music that kept the party on the dancefloor all the way to the end.  We also had a saxophone accompaniment, Jordan, on the dance floor as well. He was great and all throughout the night, our guests told us "The saxophonist is great!". Would highly recommend it, if that's in your budget. All in all, Second Song has been a solid vendor from start to finish. I am thoroughly impressed with their entire customer cycle/process, and would use their services again in a heartbeat. 

We absolutely loved having Jason be a part of our wedding day! He was so kind and ready to make sure that the music was exactly what we wanted from our ceremony all the way through to the end of the reception. We had a great phone call with him before and we felt like he really paid attention to every detail. We liked the Second Song process and would definitely recommend Jason and Second Song to anybody who wants to have a great wedding.

We are so happy with the ease and detailed attention we got from Second song and our DJ Jay! We booked String Nation through them as well and we were so pleased with the outcome! A couple months before the wedding we added on uplighting and they made it super easy to add on. We’re both songwriters so music was a VERY IMPORTANT part of our wedding day! We had arrangements made of songs we’ve written and String Nation performed them beautifully! Some of our guests were the artists to some of the songs and it was such a delight for them. I was beyond happy to walk down the aisle to “Running” by No Doubt… it was straight from my dreams to have a Bridgerton moment and they did not fail me! :) We met Jay over zoom about a year before the wedding and he was so enthusiastic, kind and excited to wok with us! We gave him a couple playlists and he shared some of his. The outcome was so perfect for us and our crowd! It’s been a few months since the wedding and we’re still getting comments from our guests like “the music was so you guys and so much fun… I knew every word” Jay really highlighted our taste in pop punk classics, weaving in top 40 songs, some throw backs and songs from our own catalog. Really appreciate the time and care he spent on preparing for us! In the end, the price was right around what we expected, everyone was super professional and detailed. It was a pleasure working with them, we really felt taken care of!

DJ Kai with Second Song was absolutely amazing! Second Song was super easy to work with. They provided video bios and sample mixes for each of their DJs which helped us choose the best DJ for us. DJ Kai came highly recommended by Second Song as well as by our venue. He knew exactly how to read the crowd, and the music transitions were seamless. We really appreciated how he listened to our preferences while also incorporating his expertise to create a fun and energetic atmosphere. We highly recommend Second Song for easy planning and a variety of DJs each with different tastes and styles for you to choose from. We especially recommend DJ Kai based on our awesome experience!

They were fantastic from the DJ for both ceremony to the reception. the lights and the dry ice effect for our first dance. Plus the 360 Photo Booth for guests to enjoy at the reception was a lot of fun! Overall the helped to create a great environment for us as the couple and our wedding guests!

We booked Second Song for our wedding and cannot say enough about how impressed we were. DJ Rob Goodmonson was the most professional and he made our special day even more special. We provided DJ Rob G. with a general playlist and the vibe we were going for and he filled in the extra songs perfectly. The entire process with second song was smooth and easy as they include a customer portal for all the contracts and decisions needed. We booked a DJ and Saxophone player with them for our wedding. The Sax player was amazing herself and followed the beats of the mixes by DJ Kai. We have such high praises for Kai! He truly listened to our vision for each section of the wedding, he perfectly captured the theme and songs we were going for. Our guests did not want to leave the dancefloor because Kai had seamlessly mixed the songs and we all thoroughly enjoyed his mixes!! Kai also had so much energy throughout the day and night, that it was hard for guests not to have that same energy. We felt the energy in the room and the awesome music. Thank you so much Kai , we really appreciate your work, energy, talent, and hard work working the event! You truly are amazing at what you do! I will definitely refer any of my friends who are looking to marry or host events to DJ Kai!!

Second Song (Henry Jones) was my wedding DJ and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. The process from beginning to end was seamless, including their online payment platform and questionnaire which helped my husband and I nail down our “vibe”, which we definitely could not have put into words ourselves! Henry was so personable and made us feel at ease instantly. 10/10 service!

Choosing a DJ for your wedding is a lot of pressure. Everyone will tell you how your DJ can make or break the whole thing. Second Song was one of the recommended vendors from our venue. We decided to go with them due to the number of positive reviews and their competitive pricing. We ultimately chose Cullen as our DJ. We had multiple calls with him as my husband really wanted to make sure he knew us in the hopes it would help things go well lol. We had nothing to worry about! Cullen was a total pro, just lovely/patient human, and totally nailed the music. We received numerous compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was. Also, love how Second Song has a form you fill out which includes suggested playlists and songs. We ended up creating our own Spotify playlists for cocktail hour and dinner which Cullen used, but left the dance party at his discretion. No regrets, book Second Song you won't be disappointed!

Second Song is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day was perfect and that we had everything we needed. They were always very open to questions and were very knowledgeable of all the things they offered. Vendor walkthroughs with them were great, and we felt very comfortable as everything led up to the big day. Our DJ, Aaron Ross, was stellar!! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He had such an excellent and engaging presence when he was presenting to our guests. He kept the energy alive at our wedding, and Aaron perfectly rolled with all the punches, adding his great humor along the way. There were many parts of the day that required music to be a played at specific moments for presentation purposes, and Aaron always hit them on the mark, and shifted things when it seemed right. He was on his A-game the whole evening. Lastly, they provided a Photo Booth which was a hit at the event. Loved it! Highly recommend both Second Song and Aaron to be a part of your wedding!

Second Song was amazing to work with! They have the prep before your event down to a science, but still make everything really personal. Their portal kept all our details, forms, and payments organized. Their team was always responsive and helpful. Prices were fair - in addition to music, we got up lights and flood lights. Last but not least, DJ Mac made sure our dance floor was never empty! His energy was amazing!

We hired Second Song for our daughter's engagement party. Chase was amazing. He absolutely made the party spectacular. The lighting, the way he had everyone engaged...I cannot say enough good things.

Jason (aka Korean Abdul Jabbar) did a fantastic job at our wedding and kept the party going from cocktail hour to end of the night, he always knew how to keep people dancing. Extremely detail oriented, the pre-event meetings made us feel comforted that we were in great hands.

Can’t recommend Second Song enough! They were a last minute change for us as our other DJ wasn’t working out. They came in and saved the day and it was a seamless transition. Very professional, great service and everyone loved the music from start to finish at our wedding.

We had DJ Lynn for our wedding and we couldn't have chosen a better DJ. He showed up in a fantastic style, was professional, equipment setups were perfect. The music was on point all night and his announcements we professional and fun. He kept our dance floor popping all night. Rob G the DJ + Second Song was great to work with for my wedding and we were very grateful to have them! Rob G was able to work with my Google doc program schedule of events, meet with me on a call to go over it, and collaborate with our wedding coordinator on-site (opposed to a form of multiple questions to fill out when I already have a detailed program document).
