For anyone looking for a wedding DJ, we can't recommend Keith enough!

derstanding our vision and recommending the right package for us (Fusion), and they absolutely delivered. We were paired with Jay (DJ Vento), and he was the perfect fit for our wedding. As a Brazilian living in Southern California, he understood exactly what we were going for: a mix of Brazilian party music, classic US wedding hits, and California favorites, including Bay Area hyphy. Communication was easy throughout the process, he picked up our direction immediately, and he ran with the sample playlists we shared to create something that felt uniquely us. The result was an incredible dance floor all night long. Jay blended Brazilian and American hits seamlessly, kept the energy up from start to finish, hit all of our must-plays, and absolutely nailed the timing of our special dance and final song. The Fusion musicians were fantastic as well and added another dimension to the experience that made the whole night even more memorable. If you're planning a wedding that brings together different cultures, musical tastes, or generations of guests, we can't recommend Second Song enough. They made the music one of the highlights of our wedding, and we would book them again in a heartbeat!

hey connected us with DJ Raphael who would be able to not only speak to both families, but he also knew how to mix genres and cultural music. They were incredibly responsive, professional, clear, and easy to work with. Our DJ went above and beyond to make it a smooth, memorable, and incredibly fun night! I cannot recommend them enough.

I was a bit concerned that the DJ wouldn't be familiar with Persian music, which I wanted a little of for my Persian guests. By the time I had to select a DJ, I was so overwhelmed with decision fatigue, I was happy to accept the coordinator's recommendation. That was DJ Luis O. You guys--it was amazing. During our introductory call, he was so cheerful and calm, I figured if nothing else, he'd have a positive presence and not make cheesy jokes (IYKYK). He listened to our rambling ideas, reassured us and said we'd meet at the wedding. EVERYBODY loved the music, his professionalism, and humor. Not only did he have a fun mix of music for everyone, but he transitioned Persian music seamlessly with pop music. My parents' friends were out there dancing! Toddlers spinned and wiggled their butts! There were 4 people left and the music was still going strong! Weddings are expensive. Entertainment for events is expensive. Second Song --and Luis O--were worth every penny.

We also added live saxophone and percussion through Second Song, which took the energy to another level. They integrated seamlessly with Ace and made the dance floor even more fun and memorable. Seeing everyone we love out on the dance floor together having the best time was exactly what we hoped for, and Ace and the Second Song team were such a huge part of making that happen. We truly could not have asked for a better DJ and would recommend Ace and Second Song without hesitation!

with our chosen DJ (Ceasare). We really liked the DJ profiles that Second Song has; with the video interview as well as sample sets to listen to. This made it easy to pick a DJ that we thought meshed well with our style. Ceasare was AMAZING. We had such fun on our intro call with him; he is such an interesting and engaging guy. He was open to all of our suggestions/requests and what resulted was the wedding dance floor experience we were hoping for! A few of our suggestions were based on music we liked and how he could mash songs together. He mashed up Eminem (Lose Yourself) with Hamilton (Not throwing away my Shot) and that was just awesome to hear! He also did a bunch of Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift mashups and remixes which was really fun to hear. One of the ideas we had was how we wanted to play the first dance songs of our guest during the dinner and Ceasare truly delivered with this. This was probably one of the most talked about things with our wedding and he had such a smooth way of introducing this to our guest; he said something along the lines of “the newlyweds have curated a special playlist for you all while you eat, and once you ear what is playing, you will know what to do.” So while we had our dinner, we got to see the reactions to our married guest as they heard their first dance songs and as they danced in front of our whole party. In addition, Ceasare worked with our day of coordinator to play Sh-Boom when the bistro lights were turned on similar to how they do it at Cars Land at Disneyland. It was a full dance floor the entire night, and it was truly perfect. One of our guest is a semi-professional DJ in Minnesota and he shared with us that Ceasare was an amazing DJ and definitely knew how to throw a party. We loved his energy as well, you can tell he is enjoying himself and feeling the music while he is working. 3 weeks after the wedding we are still talking about how great Ceasare was!

He’s also completely capable of DJing on his own and creating such a fun atmosphere without needing a huge production behind him. As the bride and groom, we only got about an hour of actual dancing because we were busy with our photographer and videographer for most of the reception, but DJ Jake made that hour SO much fun! Everyone was dancing, having a great time, and we honestly didn’t want it to end! If you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding, DJ Jake is seriously your guy! He’s talented, friendly, professional, and just an all-around great person. We would 100% recommend him to anyone! We love Second Song and are so grateful to have had them at our wedding.

If you don't care what songs you want, but have a general vibe you're going for, he'll have great recommendations. He was great at keeping people dancing and gave us a mini throwback emo concert towards the end of the night (our request)! He was so lovely to work with! 10/10!!!!

We had DJ Keith (BUTTA) as our specific DJ and not only was he a great MC but he CRUSHED IT as the DJ. Our venue timeline only really allowed for an hour and a half of dancing and music and we gave him an almost 8 hour playlist and his mix was literally perfect. Great job Second Song! I will be recommending them to all my friends and family getting married in the LA, SoCal area!

DJ Danny completely delivered keeping our dance floor going all night and there was never a dull moment! I also loved how DJ, photo booth, lighting - all were in one package so I only had one vendor to coordinate with. It totally makes event/wedding planning less cumbersome. We loved how Second Song had interview videos of the DJ’s, so we could get a sense of their personalities — as well as actual mixes, so we could get a sense of their musical style. We were immediately drawn to Dorion, because he had the exact energy we were looking for, and his mixes were FIRE. The process of booking with second song was smooth and professional.  Dorion was really responsive throughout the planning process. I had a couple of unique requests, including a surprise song for my husband. Additionally, the day of we had several last minute changes on our end with our timeline. Dorion kept up with every change seamlessly, never missed a beat, and made our whole wedding seamless and cohesive. He brought a warm, grounded, calm, and kind presence to the space. When it came to open dance, Dorion delivered BANGER after BANGER. Every song was a hit, and uniquely catered to our own music preference requests we had discussed. He integrated live mixing in addition to smooth transitions. We had a BLAST, and our guests were raving nonstop that the DJ was 11/10. If we ever needed a DJ for an event in the future, we’d book Dorion again in a heartbeat — do yourself a favor and do the same!

he day of the event Second Song was incredible. We met with our DJ, Julian, prior to our event. He listened to all of our needs and was so accommodating and gracious! On the day of our event Julian showed up well before the start to set up which can’t be said for all of the vendors we contacted.  Julian absolutely crushed the reception and was a fantastic host!
