Seila Stone Photography

Seila was SO much fun to work with! My husband and I were passing through West Texas and I knew I wanted to get some photos taken at the Sand Hills. She did such an amazing job of making us feel loosened up and to get some fun shots. We were hoping for a golden hour shoot, that was stumped by a giant raincloud but the photos turned out even cooler with it! Turn around time was super quick and we would absolutely love to use them again if we are back on their side of Texas :)

We have worked with Seila twice now. She is based in West Texas and we live in Dallas. Believe me it’s worth the drive! Seila’s work has high contrast and are rich in color. I am personally fond of candid photos that you can feel the emotions pouring out from even if it’s not someone you know and that’s exactly what I got from Seila. Our first session was for our save the date photos. We wanted something different than what we were used to seeing. I found Seila and fell in love with her work instantaneously-especially on how you could feel the emotions right through her photos. She is super creative but is also open to hearing out our ideas to really make it feel like us. We aren’t really comfortable in front of the camera but Seila being just so naturally cool and down to earth made us forget there even was a camera. That’s her magic. The moments she captured are what we feel everyday; she captured all the smiles and so much laughter (but we just happen to be dressed up and on location). It felt normal and natural. Our second session we booked Seila for were for our wedding invitations. Again, it felt natural with Seila. This time we went to Big Bend National Park. Big Bend is huge but she helped plan where to meet based on what look we were going for. We loved Santa Elena Canyon. I once again wanted to wear a dramatic dress but to be practical I wore sneakers under it and and another magic power Seila has is showing the realness. I got my foot stuck in the mud and it popped off my sneaker but Seila the amazing photographer she is kept snapping away. While I LOVE all my photos with Seila, those are the ones that spark a memory and share a story.  When we get our photos back from Seila in both cases it feels like Christmas, each photo more exquisite than the last. She really has captured moments that will last a lifetime. Easily one of the best wedding day decisions we made! We’ve gotten so so many compliments on our wedding day photos. Seila gives great creative direction while photographing but also loves to hear your ideas. She worked so well with our large and confusing family tree along with everyone in the wedding party. We got our photos SO quickly and they are BEAUTIFUL! Seila is so easy to work with and incredibly talented. She was GREAT at what she does. We will 100 percent use Seila Stone Photography again in the future!

We got Seila to do our engagement and our wedding pictures. She did such an AMAZING job on both. I fell in love with all of the pictures. She makes you feel so comfortable while taking the photos. On my wedding day she went the extra mile to go take pictures of my grandpa and I because of health reasons he was unable to make it and that meant the world to me!! She’s the sweetest person and will do anything to make your experience and pictures AMAZING. I promise you won’t be disappointed with her.
