Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel

WE Weddings & Events had the opportunity to work with the Sheraton on a September wedding and they were a pleasure to work with! From the staff, to the food, to the water front view what more could a couple ask for on their special day. There was always someone there with the Sheraton's team to answer question or lend a helping hand. The even went above and beyond and got the Nittany Lion to have a guest appearance. They were a pleasure to work with and can not wait to work with them again!

Our wedding at Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. The staff made sure that every detail was seamless, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day to the fullest. One of the standout aspects of our experience was the impeccable attention to detail. Every aspect of the wedding was meticulously planned and executed, creating a beautiful and cohesive atmosphere for our guests to enjoy. Additionally, the level of professionalism displayed by the staff was exceptional, making us feel confident that we were in good hands throughout the entire process. In conclusion, we highly recommend Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel as a wedding venue. The professionalism, attention to detail, and beautiful setting provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. My husband, family, friends and I were more than thrilled with the outcome of our day. The staff were so understanding and accommodating of our needs throughout the whole entire planning process. Especially Bri, she was eager to make our day perfect and would respond to us quickly when we had questions or concerns. The banquet team lead by Christina was top notch. drinks were always full, dishes and tables were always cleared. The food prepared by the banquet Chef Michael was out of this world. We offered the most tender Short ribs I have ever tasted. We were blown away with the amount of food they made with such high quality at the same time. Not only did the staff make our day amazing but, the prime location directly on Lake Erie made the photos magical. Our favorite photos were taken during sunset on the waterfront patio at the venue. We highly recommend this venue!

I want to first start by thanking Brianna who was excellent from start to finish with our reception at the Erie Bayfront. My wife and I wanted to bring our wedding home as we live in California and found it to be very challenging to find and trust a venue on the other side of the country albeit our home. Brianna was very accommodating and patient with our questions and follow ups. The beautiful venue, Brianna, and our room were the only pros. The cons: The food looked like cafeteria food. We paid the minimum option (bronze package) at the Sheraton and we felt it, believe me. The dish was good but looked terrible as we felt like since we went with the best priced option the Sheraton will give you the bottom of the barrel presentation. The wait staff was not good. They threw our $500 cake in the trash after the bridal party didn’t eat it within 30 minutes because we were dancing. They were lackluster on requests our family and friends made as well just trying to clear the tables extra fast and not bringing coffee to family upon request. Maybe we got the b squad due to the price we paid? We had billing issues as well that thankfully Brianna was able to assist with that arose the day before the wedding which put us in a panic and stressed us out prior to Brianna coming to the rescue and fixing for us. Overall, the venue is really nice, the cost is not worth it, and the service and presentation of the food is below average. BUT you get to work with an all star in Brianna. Think your options over wisely. We’re thankful for a beautiful wedding but had we hit the rewind button, we probably would have went somewhere else.
