It’s completely unacceptable that the food served to my guests did not match what was provided during your tastings. There were discrepancies with the crab cakes, salad dressing, and cold salmon. Additionally, the issues with missing rolls, food being cleared before guests were finished, and hors d’oeuvres not being properly distributed during cocktail hour. The bartender was on the dance floor instead of focusing on service. The ceremony/reception room was also not being properly cleaned beforehand .

The staff at the Sheraton were top notch! From starting coordination and scheduling with Christine Palmer and Dotty Porter (super helpful ladies), the amazing catering manager, Meg, and the incredibly helpful reception clerk, Kelsey -seriously Kelsey was my hero of the day! The wait staff were all amazing and friendly. The location was beautiful, the rooms are so comfortable. They really make our special day wonderful. Very little stress, the staff at Sheraton go above and beyond - and their wedding package is so affordable. We had a beautiful wedding without breaking our bank. If I had to choose a venue all over again, I’d stick with the Sheraton. Thank you everyone for making everything so beautiful and easy for us.

I really loved having my ceremony and reception here. They were very helpful at all times. Jeanette is a gem! Love her! Their staff was great and so attentive during the reception! Food was delicious. Would do it again!

As I sit here and write my review tears immediately filled my eyes because the Sheraton Norfolk captured our special moment. Every idea and thought I had were displayed exactly how I imagined and with a extra spectacular. Kelly(coordinator) is a super woman. She basically held my hands the whole way. Great at communication and reassuring she will take care of making your day amazing. I am grateful to the whole staff. Amazing amazing

The Sheraton was a beautiful place to host our wedding ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was on the veranda and the view of the water was beautiful. The food was excellent!!! Everyone at our wedding seemed to have a great time. Thank you

Almost every person that tried to reserve a room was told that the room block was full. Despite talking to multiple managers and visiting in person to make sure the issue was resolved, issues persisted. We had the rehearsal dinner there and I stayed in a suite that night. They put us in the wrong room so I was late for the rehearsal because we were trying to straighten things out and then I was late for the rehearsal dinner because we had to move rooms. Very poor.

We were very pleased with the service we received with the Sheraton. Their staff could not have been more accomodating. The costs was a bit high, but all of our guests loved the food and the beauty of the veranda room.

I had my wedding at the Sheraton on June 25, 2010. I had the hotel pick out and set up my centerpieces and they were amazing. The food and the banquet staff was also absolutely incredible. We had an amazing wedding and the guest loved every part of it.
