The team at Shutter and Sound was helpful and professional. My husband had specific questions about the products offered and got all the answers he needed before booking. Joshua and Janna were our videography team day of and they were helpful, approachable, and specific in what they needed from us to deliver the product they advertised.

We hired Shutter & Sound for our 8/26/23 wedding and they did not disappoint! We had Mike Osowski as the lead shooter and got our highlight video a month to the day after the wedding. I have watched the video so many times already and every time I see it I tear up and my husband does as well. Both shooters showed up on time or early, got plenty of getting ready shots and stayed well into dancing. The highlight video is absolutely beautiful and I didn't have any issues with this company at all. From time of booking through the end, Julian was very attentive and helpful through the process and never hesitated to answer any of my many questions. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved working with Shutter and Sound. The entire process was easy and they delivered a fantastic product. We worked with Kevin on our day of and he was calm, cool, and kind. He was patient as we pivoted with the rain and even took footage of our two pups to make sure they were included in the video. He worked hand-in-hand with our photographer and we couldn't have been happier with our videos!

I had found shutter & sound through the knot and fell in-love with their portfolio long before I knew they would be the ones to capture our wedding. As my now hubby is video camera shy it took some convincing to have a videographer and I am so glad I did! The videographer ended up coming as a gift from my FIL but the team made sure to consult us each step of the planning process. Shutter & Sounds’ Boston team beautifully captured our perfect day. Their cues were delightful, and they never once made us (especially hubby) feel forced or uncomfortable. We love our highlight and cannot wait to receive our whole package in a few months.

We loved working with Ben and Sean for our wedding day. They did an awesome job capturing our favorite moments and the overall feel of our wedding. Great videographer! Both our videographers at our wedding were very nice and personable. We also didn’t feel overwhelmed or even noticed the videographer was there at some points. Also, the staff who coordinated the day prior to the wedding were awesome and so helpful. I would highly recommend!

We hired Shutter and Sound Films for our wedding on 4/2/22. Firstly, they couldn't have been kinder and more accommodating when we had to move our original wedding date due to COVID-19. Their communication was always prompt, professional and friendly, and they did a great job guiding us through the planning process. We chose "The Feature" package, and it was SO worth it! They asked us to choose our video song before the wedding, so they could tailor their coverage to the mood and tone of what music we picked. We received an incredible video that captured every special moment, and it filled our hearts with joy to relive our day again. It's always nerve-wracking to be on camera, but they made us look amazing. We loved so many of the shots from the video that we pulled multiple stills and saved them as photos! On the day of my wedding, Adam and our other videographer professional and unobtrusive - I often didn't even notice they were rolling, and was thrilled with all the little moments they captured and edited into our video. Would highly recommend Shutter & Sound to any couple looking for a videographer!

Just WOW. We’re in love with our wedding video. Our videographers were so intuitive, they knew exactly what we wanted without even being asked. The company was communicative and prompt. Shutter & Sound not only gave me the wedding video of my dreams, but they were the EASIEST vendors to work with - the best two for one I could ask for. I told them exactly what I was looking for, chose an inspiration video of theirs they had created already and they took the rest into their own hands. We had our highlight within days of the wedding. It really is the most stunning representation of our wedding day and I cannot thank them enough. I have received so many compliments on this video since it has been posted and it really is something that I could watch a million times and never get sick of. Both videographers that came to the hotel and venue were extremely nice, professional and punctual. They were both dressed so well, were very clean and neat - I feel like this is something a lot of people look past, so I need to give credit where it’s due! There were a handful of vendors we had that looked sloppy and underdressed for a wedding, but I was so thankful that the videographers from Shutter & Sound were not in this mix! I would truly recommend them to anyone and cannot thank them enough for such a stress free experience.

My husband and I were so impressed with the professionalism and promptness from Shutter and Sound. Quinn always answered our questions to the fullest extent and was so helpful with our booking and understanding the packages. She was a great liaison between us and our day of videographer Mike DiNatale, who I also don't have enough good things to say about. Mike and his colleague Juliana captured every intimate detail of our wedding so beautifully. He did a wonderful job of working side by side our photographer, but also being thoughtful when to jump in to get the shots he needed! The highlight video came out INCREDIBLE. The quality, editing, everything is so perfect. We shared it with our friends and family over the holidays and they were all blown away. It was everything we asked for and more. We feel so lucky to be able to re-live this moment over and over again. We truly can’t wait for the documentary style and raw footage soon : )

Shutter & Sound was incredible to work with. Our wedding was cancelled due to covid, but that didn't stop us from creating the most amazing video EVER!! Everything was already scheduled and paid for, so when things shut down we were bummed to be losing the opportunity to capture our love on video. Julian was clever enough to suggest an adventure day video, and that's exactly what we did! The amazingly talented, David, was super flexible and easy to work with, he really went out of his way to make our day unforgettable. We got so many amazing shots, and his editing was second to none - I've watched our video at least two dozen times and I'm still finding little details that bring tears to my eyes. Shutter and Sound created our wedding video for our small Covid wedding. Quinn was lovely to work with during all the craziness of moving dates due to Covid. The final product on our video is so magical and really captures our love!! We are so happy with it and watching it brings us back to that amazing feeling we had on our wedding day. Matt did a fabulous job! It is so nice to have such a lovely memory and we are excited to share it with our family when it is safe to have a large celebration.

Kevin was our videographer for our Boston-area micro-wedding, and he was absolutely fantastic! He had also done the videography for my best friend's wedding, and I knew we had to work with him after that day. He is so unobtrusive when obtaining the footage - we completely forgot that he was there. He did not at all distract from our ceremony, even though there were only 14 people there. The final product was also stunning, and the video captured the feeling of the day so perfectly, and in such an artistic manner. We have watched the videos countless times and they are such a happy reminder of our day. You will not go wrong with Shutter and Sound- highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible - highly recommend. We worked with Cody and he was so amazing. He captured every moment perfectly and was super fun to work with. He got along with our entire wedding party and worked great with our photographer - felt like we were filming with friends we have known forever. He made sure to also grab us after speeches for a quick moment for just my husband and I and those are some of our favorite shots. Somehow when the video comes together it looks and feels like an absolute fairy-tale - capturing every vibe, moment, etc perfectly to the track of our choice. People are still talking about our video and we constantly get asked about it - my friends said they feel like they were in a movie! The only thing we wish is that we kept him longer for the entire night! :) You will not be disappointed with this team - they are incredible.

As my wife and I were completing our wedding planning the one thing people kept telling us they regretted was not having a videographer. Of course we didn't think we had the budget for one either but after some soul (and budget) searching we decided we didn't want to make the same mistake and booked Shutter and Sound after some lengthy searching. We are so thankful we did. Throughout the booking process Quinn was excellent to work with and extremely helpful answering all of our questions. On the actual wedding day Mike and Phil were top notch. They worked very well with our photographer and blended in seamlessly. Our faith was rewarded in just about a week when the Shutter and Sound team sent us our completed video when we were still on our honeymoon. It was amazing and we look forward to watching it a thousand times. Our families are crying all over again.

Our day-of videographers were Matt and Matt, and wow were they fantastic. The wedding video cut came back to us quickly and is stunning -- our friends keep showing it to their friends. It's exactly what they wanted. And during the wedding, they were fun to hang out with, unobtrusive at the right moments, had great ideas of cool shots to get, and got everything we wanted. Fantastic! We will say.... we found Shutter and Sound somewhat difficult to deal with in advance of the wedding and almost didn't use them. Every marginal thing for Shutter and Sound has an itemized marginal cost. With our photographers at another company, when we talked through the process in advance, they would have ideas, we would have ideas, and we had a great collaborative conversation about how to make it work. With Shutter and Sound, all their suggestions also come with "and that will cost you $X extra." So costs quickly add up beyond the base package. We aren't saying don't use them -- quite the opposite, the end product is amazing -- but be warned that it will feel like you're being nickle-and-dimed to a higher price than you expected. This was the only vendor we worked with for our wedding where we felt like we needed to be focused on negotiating contractual terms and ensuring the contract precisely specified exactly what was agreed to. We understand their position and that the wedding industry is a business, but it's just a very different vibe from every other vendor in the industry that we worked with. Again, the final product was fantastic and the specific videographers (Matt & Matt) that we worked with were fantastic.

I'm so glad we went with Shutter & Sound. I worked with Quinn from the start- she was SO thorough and quick to respond. I swear she works around the clock! Everything was so easy and seamless. They truly have this down to a science. The day-of team were fantastic!! I worked with Michael and a team member in Groton, MA. He got the fun shots of the girls and the guys getting ready, the romantic moments during our first look, emotional moments during the ceremony, and all the fun times during the reception. I gave ZERO direction because I really just wanted to soak the whole day in which after the fact I was a bit nervous- I barely said anything to Michael once things started picking up! I cared about the details that I worked so hard to pull together. Once I got the Instagram highlight (which I totally recommend the upgrade if you can!!) I instantly realized I truly didn't have to. The videos we got after our day were spot-on. The edits were amazing. They really read the whole vibe of the day. Now I'm glad I got to spend time with family and friends instead of directing everyone- it was all seamless. Highly recommend!!!

I worked with Quinn to schedule and coordinate details, and Cody & Jason on the day of. They were each incredible. Professional, responsive, guided us through each step of the process and made us feel comfortable. I worked with Cody directly as he was in the bridal suite and he was awesome!!!! Such a pro. He stayed out of the way but captured everything important and got along with everyone including my photographer. He also called me a few days before to walk me through everything and was so easy to work with. We got our teaser trailer and I was blown away. I heard about S&S because one of the Bachelor contestants used their services and I loved their final product. Would highly recommend them!!!!

For our wedding, we worked with Quinn on the scheduling(amazing) and Cody (love him)as the videographer . Our experience was nothing short of PERFECT! From our first phone call with Cody, he was exceptionally professional, reaching out as time got closer to nail down details, and coordinated conversations with the wedding planner and photographer. After receiving my video less than a month after our wedding (which is AMAZING) I have lost count on the times I have a watched and been blown away by the people that have told me it made them cry, laugh, and smile. Fantastic job!

One of the most daunting tasks for me during the wedding process was picking our vendors. After A LOT of video watching, we stumbled upon Shutter and Sound’s page. Being located in Boston, I was nervous finding out that this group was based in LA. But, all of that went out the window when we began coordinating with Quinn. Quinn was knowledgeable, quick to offer suggestions, and provided us with our videographers contact information prior to booking so we could become comfortable with him. When it came time for the big day, Shutter and Sound arrived early, had no issues running between our hotel and the venue, and stood behind the scenes (not in anyone’s way). About a week later, Quinn emailed with our 8 minute video. The quality of the film was amazing. The first half of the video was the sound of myself and my husband reading our letter with footage of us getting ready and of the ceremony. The second half was upbeat, showing our Baraat, Ceremony, entrance, first dance, as well as other snippets from the day. Shutter and Sound were great to work with and I would highly recommend investing in them, you will not be disappointed.

I knew from the beginning of wedding planning that having a videographer was non negotiable, I wanted to be able to look back at footage from our day. When I reached out to Jack to book he was so helpful and made me feel like we were in good hands. They have a great selection of music you can choose for your highlight video and we were able to use our last dance song so it was perfect. The day of came and Kevin arrived, he was so calm and nice. He just did his thing and we didn’t have to worry about anything. 2 weeks after our wedding we received our highlight video. I cried. It captures our day perfectly, you can see the love just by watching. I’m so grateful to have this video to watch over and over. I can’t wait to get our raw footage so I can swoon over that as well! I am SO glad we chose them for our videography! The highlight video looks like a music video, they knew exactly what they were doing, and everything worked out perfectly! It rained, and they worked with us to get all the shots they needed. The multi camera edit was amazing also, so we were able to re-live all of the speeches, our first dance, and our ceremony (which i barely remembered since it was such an overwhelming day, I am happy to be able to have it on video). People always say they regret not having a videographer, and I completely understand now and would have paid double based on the product we received! Thank you all!!!

So now that we’ve watched our wedding video close to 100 times since we received it three days ago, we can definitely say it was one of the best purchases of our wedding. From working with Quinn, early on in the process to our videographer Mike, the day of the wedding, everything was a breeze. All we had to do was pick a song and they turned the best moments of our day into something we can relive time and time again. The video was perfect. DO NOT have any hesitations about having a videographer, particularly Shutter and Sound. They are incredible and we are so glad we chose to work with them to make our video.

Can not recommend Shutter and Sound enough! A good videographer is a must for a wedding and these guys perfectly captured all of the special moments of the day (both big and small). They were professional and friendly and the resulting videos were truly special. We had friends of friends tell us they cried watching our highlight video. Working with Shutter and Sound was amazing, the videographers arrived on time, were incredibly friendly, and got a ton of footage without feeling like you had a camera in your face all night. They communicated with us very effectively before and after the wedding, and we got our completed video within 2 weeks of the wedding. It's an incredibly video that I've watched about 100 times. Alex was our videographer and he is a complete professional and knew exactly what he was doing, and made us feel really comfortable the entire time. To say I am obsessed with our wedding trailer is an understatement! Kenny with Shutter and Sound in Chicago did an absolutely fantastic job capturing our day and the resulting trailer is like something for a movie. What really drew me to this company is that when I watched their videos, I cried. They made me emotional and I didn't even know the people in them! Needless to say, I cried about the first 15 times I watched my own video. Shutter and Sound beautifully captures the feelings and emotions of the day, and I am so glad we worked with them!

We had a wonderful experience working with Kylee Parks, the scheduling manager, and Austen Paul, our main video producer, for our October 2018 wedding in San Mateo, CA. From the very start, Kylee was extremely attentive, patient, thorough, and helpful in guiding us through package, music selection, and wedding day decisions. She was easily accessible through email and by phone, accommodating every question and request we made. Kylee was a joy to work with and made the overall planning and logistical experience smooth and pleasant. On our wedding day, we met Austen and his lovely second cinematographer. They both arrived early, looked professional, and were ready to get to work. Austen and his second shooter were creative with their angles, perfected lighting and colors, and knew how to beautifully capture the moment without interfering. They made us, our family, and honored guests feel comfortable and most importantly, free to be ourselves. We appreciated how they worked collaboratively with our photographers under our strict time constraints, especially since they both needed to get their necessary shots. Our short highlight video was ready in just 7 days after our wedding. We were impressed, to say the least, with the quick turnaround time but also with the professional quality of the video. Austen and his team were generous with their time, even allowing us to make changes to our finalized product. After a few weeks, we received our highlight video, our multi-cam edit, and the raw footage in a convenient external hard drive. We will be sure to replay them for years to come as we reminisce on our wonderful day. We could not be happier with the Shutter and Sound Films SF team and we, along with my professional photographer brother, will be highly recommending them to our engaged family and friends.

Amazing! Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful, responsive, and most importantly: friendly. Our main shooter was Eric and not only is he great at what he does, but he’s also personable and great to have with you for 8+ hours!! It was less than 20 degrees the day of our wedding and our first look was outside. Eric made sure to get every shot he needed as quickly as possible without losing any quality. He didn’t waste any time planning his next shot or what he wanted us to do. He knew exactly what he was doing the entire time. Kylee, the Scheduling Manager, helped with all the “paperwork” and answered all of our questions throughout the entire process. She was so quick to respond to my emails that it was like we were having a real-time conversation! One thing I really liked was how we paid. It was through an electronic debit from your checking account and you could pay as much as you wanted, anytime you wanted, as long as it was completely paid off by the due date. With all the vendors needing final payments around the same time and mostly all requesting these payments via check, it was great to have the option to make instantaneous payments throughout the months on our own schedule. We received our highlight video literally FIVE DAYS after the wedding. How fast is that?! The video is absolutely perfect and we are continuously receiving compliments on it. We can’t stop watching it ourselves! The rest of our package will be delivered in the upcoming weeks, but I am so glad we already have the highlight. I love that Shutter and Sound allows you to purchase all the raw footage from the day. I know I missed out on so much and I’m excited to be able to catch some of it! This is in addition to the ceremony and speeches, which I also can’t wait to watch. So happy we’ll be able to have all of this for the rest of our lives—and this is coming from a couple who originally decided NOT to have a videographer. Love Shutter and Sound and am so, so happy we found them for our wedding day!

I was married on New Years Day at Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA and Shutter and Sound's Boston team BLEW US AWAY. From day one, Quinn was so unbelievably helpful and kind. My now husband and I went back and forth on having a videographer and we are SO VERY GLAD that we did. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate - you need Shutter and Sound in your life. Cody was our videographer and he was nothing short of incredible. He was so lovely to work with and made the planning process a breeze. We aren't local to MA anymore but Cody was not only flexible with our planning phone calls, but he completely took any worry/stress out of planning from a distance. He was amazing on the day of the wedding and made the process so fun. We just received our highlight video yesterday (just two weeks after the wedding!) and we are so obsessed. We have watched it 100 times in the past 12 hours and love it more every time. Cody captured our day so perfectly. We can't say enough good things about Cody, Quinn, and Shutter and Sound. My husband and I got married this past New Years Eve at the Boston Harbor Hotel and so far, Shutter and Sound has exceeded our expectations. Initially, I was apprehensive about hiring a videographer, it seemed like a large extra expense that we could do without. However, I had done a lot of research, and took the plunge with Shutter and Sound. I’m so glad we made the decision to hire them to do the videography for our wedding. Cody, our Boston-based videographer from Shutter and Sound was wonderful to partner with and produced EXCEPTIONAL work. We just received our highlight video and were BLOWN AWAY. We highly highly recommend using this company and requesting Cody (if you are in the Boston area). We had such a positive experience and are sure we will have plenty more to rave about when we see our full feature documentary which is scheduled to arrive in about a month. We were so happy with our choice to use Shutter and Sound for our wedding. When looking for videographers, it was their editing style that stood out to me compared to others. After seeing their work on their website, I knew they were the ones for us! Quinn was a pleasure to work with and was extremely responsive to all of our questions. Our videographer Mike was amazing to work with and is incredibly talented! He captured every little detail of our wedding day. We can’t stop watching our highlight video! It moved us and our family and friends to tears. It is beautifully done and is something we will cherish forever.
