I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Tara. Getting married in the midst of a pandemic was not easy for so many reasons. We often felt left in the dark with many of our vendors but never with Silver Orchid. She constantly communicated with us and put our minds at ease time and time again. When our wedding day finally came, Tara and Kathleen felt like a friends. They quickly picked up on our quirky personalities and rolled with it. We never felt uncomfortable (neither of us "enjoy" being photographed) and they weren't pushy at all, which is exactly what we needed. During the important moments (ceremony, first dances, etc,) many guests commented that they would not have even known they were there had they not gone back and watched the video, but they still managed to get AMAZING shots. Overall we had just a really wonderful experience from start to finish and we would highly recommend Silver Orchid to anyone and everyone!

Tara was amazing! From the start she helped calm my nerves- and by the start I mean the beginning of booking with her. She helped me find the package that work best for our day - and then a month or 2 before we talked and she helped me figure out the timeline and flow of the day. And of course the timeline didnt go exactly as planned - BUT she was there just smoothly taking pictures, distracting me from getting anxious, setting my nerves at ease! The pictures I have gotten back are beautiful and amazing and take me back to that day - and each perfect little moment.

Tara and all her associates are so amazing! I never like getting my picture taken but she made the process so seamless and I felt so relaxed. Tara is really interested in what is important to you and finds all the ways to incorporate that into your pictures!

Tara is THE BEST! She was so helpful when we were in the planning process and answered all of our questions. The day of our wedding Tara and her team were there on time and covering all the different aspects of our day. They are all so sweet and we had such a great time taking pictures around our venue. For some people, it can be difficult or weird to pose in front of a camera but Tara made everything so easy and natural. And, there was lots of laughter which made for some great candids! During the reception, they set up an iPad with preview pictures for us to see and then for our guests as well. It was so awesome having some of our pictures to look at while we were waiting for the full set. Once our pictures came back (we got them back on our 1 month anniversary, so SUPER fast!), we were just blown away by the photos. They really did capture every angle and special moment of our wedding and we are so blessed to have these amazing photos to look back on for years to come!

Andrea captured beautiful pictures at our recent wedding at the Hotel Fiesole. Her photography captured the elegance of the ceremony and the evening. We love Tara as she made this all happen. I highly recommend her for all your photographic events.

Tara and her assistant Andrea were amazing. Not only were the photos of my special day gorgeous, but Tara herself was just a joy to have around the entire day. From the first day I emailed Tara inquiring about her services I knew I would be using her to capture the most important day of my life. After talking on the phone a few times and emailing back and forth we picked the most perfect spot for our engagement photos. My husband who does not like his picture taken had so much fun that day taking pictures. I can't forget about her team she had working with her...the day of the wedding they were hard working and just as fun and sweet. Silver Orchid is amazing! Tara (owner) and her staff are truly awesome. Tara is super down to earth and great to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and makes it fun at the same time. You can tell she has a real passion for photography and it shows in the amazing photos she takes. Our package included and engagement session (highly recommend) which was great because we got to know her more (and vice versa) and got comfortable being photographed. We had her for 10 hours on our wedding day and that was totally perfect. She's super organized and sends out a questionnaire before the wedding so she knows what specific photos you want, etc. I filled this out pretty extensively and there isn't a single photo that I wanted that I don't have. We're in love with all of them, so much so that we are having a hard time narrowing down which photos we want in our book (another thing included in our package that we can't wait for). All in all, Tara is awesome, comparable in price to others in the area (and in my opinion has better packages where you get more for our money than others I looked at), and so much fun to work with. Do your self a favor and hire her and her team - you will NOT regret it!

Tara and her team at Silver Orchid were fantastic. Tara took time out of her day in advance to allow me to ask her questions and see if we would vibe prior to booking and it made a world of difference. Tara and her team even put together an edited slideshow of the wedding and wedding party photos that was on display during the reception. The turnaround time and photo quality was amazing.

We had an amazing experience with Tara and Silver Orchid Photography. Tara was an amazing photographer!!! From the moment we met her, she felt like family. She is so organized and was able to put my A type personality at ease. She goes over every little detail before you big day so you don't have to worry about things on your big day. I was getting married on the beach and when Tara got there it was cloudy and misting out. She was so excited because she said the shots would be so much better. Her and my florist were able to calm me down and get me excited that the pictures would be better and they are absolutely amazing!!! She is there for you every step of the way but doesn't get in the way of the day. She put in a tablet in the reception so people could see some of the pictures from the early part of the day during the reception. She has been great since the wedding with getting me the pictures and getting albums done. I will definitely be using her as our family grows.

She explained that she was going to stay - as long as it was okay with us - to capture that moment for us. Without hesistation - she stayed an extra TWO HOURS. She constantly checked in with us but it was like she wasn't even there! She floated around capturing beautiful moments that we now look back on with smiles. I was very behind on my wedding planning and I had maybe 4 months to go and still didn't book a photographer. My aunt told me about Tara so I immediately sent her a message about doing my wedding. She called me shortly after my inquiry and we got everything sorted out. She kept up with me about the details of the wedding and she was a pleasure to work with. Tara has the ability to actually capture feelings in her photography. I am able to look back at my pictures and not just remember the moment but the photos depict exactly how I was feeling. We gave Tara quite the challenge as we had a very non-traditional wedding celebration. Tara captured our personalities, our emotions, and was able to put our memories into a photograph that we can treasure for a lifetime. Tara owns, operates and is the photographer. she was 8 mnths pregnant with her 4th child when she did our wedding. she did a fabulous job. she has her own style and doesn't consume too much time. she also does 15 mins of alone time to capture the moment. she rocks.
