Soul X band

Soul X was a phenomenal band for our wedding! We loved having them play. They played beautifully and knew how to get the crowd engaged and on the dance floor. The emcee was also great throughout the night. Got so many comments on how great our band was. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Soul X for anyone's wedding. They are professional, courteous and energetic. They know exactly how to get the crowd going and play the best upbeat, fun dancing songs. We wish they could have played longer!! 5/5 stars -- SO grateful for them and their talent!! We loved them!!

I cannot speak enough praise to this amazing group of musicians-SoulX band! From the first moment to the last, the room was filled with energy and talent. Miquel kicked it off for the bridal party as he energized us for our Grand Entrance-that was the moment I knew we hired the right band. Walking in and hearing this concert of sound made us all feel the center of attention. And then to view each member performing their craft with precision and professionalism was amazing. Christine has an aura about her that makes you smile as she fills your ears with melodies of perfect tones. The vocals, the rapping, keys, percussion, horn section, guitars, the choreography- the entire band drew everybody in all night and made the night happen. Our guests were so impressed with them and all had a great experience. Their entertainment exceeded all our expectations. My daughter and new son in law couldn't have been more happy and thrilled with their performance and attention to them and to the art of music. We are honored to have had each and every member of the band play for us and make this very special day a most magnificent memory. If you are in need of entertainment-SoulX band is the one and only to go to!!

Soul X and Christine were fantastic! I have been coordinating weddings for 30 years and the best band I have ever heard. Did a wedding with them last Saturday night. Soul X was an incredible wedding band! They were great to work with throughout the entire planning process and night of they were so great. Multiple wedding guests told me they were the best wedding and they had ever heard! I loved their song selection – it was a bit more unique than most I think and not just the same classic wedding songs you hear. Their range of songs they could also was amazing – they had so many different genres to choose songs and nailed every song that they played. They also learned two songs for us, including a very wacky college song that I was not sure how it would sound, and they completely outdid themselves on both that they learned! We were so appreciative of the effort they put into learning the songs, and were just so impressed with the talent of the various band members. Overall, we 100% recommend them and have not one bad thing to say. Thank you, Soul X, for making our wedding dance floor so fun!!

You can’t go wrong with Soul X!!! They truly made my wedding a dream come true! We received countless compliments from all age groups about their performance! The dinner music was the perfect mix of elegant and fun, and there was no shortage of excitement during the party! I cannot put into words how awesome Soul X was to work with! They were so professional and easy to work with regarding scheduling/song choices/logistics, etc. They worked through some very challenging weather issues which threw off the schedule as we tried to wait and let the storm pass. When it came time for the party to start, they absolutely brought the house down! We've gotten so many compliments about how good the band was; many said this is the best wedding band they'd ever seen! We're absolutely thrilled that we got to share the night with you; everyone's energy couldn't be contained inside the tent and spilled out into the streets of Crested Butte late into the night! Soul X was the best decision we made for our wedding! We searched and searched for bands across Colorado and even out of state and we couldn't have gotten luckier. Christine was wonderful to work with and was more than happy to talk everything through. They are professionals and will make your wedding the best. I know that there are only 5 stars but we would like to give them 10! THE BEST WEDDING BAND EVER! The one thing that makes a party is the band. Soul X exceeded our already high expectations! Christine and her exceptionally talented musicians are top notch. They played to our guests and got everyone out on the dance floor all night long. They are high energy and know how to navigate the entire evening to make it a memorable one. The MC perfectly took command of the evening. We were getting compliments all night from very discerning guests about them. When planning a wedding Soul X is a must!

One of our wedding planning priorities was to find a great band, and we are so glad we chose Soul X. Our guests LOVED them and want to hire them for their own future events. This review should come as no surprise given all of the others here, but I can not say enough great things about Soul X. Christine was so wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding; she was extremely professional and collaborative throughout the process as we curated our playlists for the welcome music, ceremony, reception entry, first dances, and the party. Throughout the evening we and our guests were completely blown away by the energy and talent every member of this band possesses. The vibes were sweet and tender when you'd like them to be, and absolutely electric to end the night with hours on the dance floor. I can't tell you how many friends and family members came up to us later that night or the next morning to say how Soul X is the best band they've ever seen at a wedding. My wife and I got married a couple of weeks ago and people are still talking about it! I'd also like to give a shout out to the MC, who is such a wonderful human and helped calm our nerves before making the reception entrance (and hyped up the crowd into a frenzy as we walked in). We would give them 6 stars if we could! Hiring Soul X was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding on June 2nd in Buena Vista. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor the entire night, and were begging for encores at the end. Nearly everyone has told us it was the best wedding band they'd ever seen! Christine was amazing to work with, so responsive and accommodating from the start - we learned after the wedding that she'd had a family emergency the week of the wedding and we never even knew, everything was still absolutely perfect. The playlist was awesome, they learned some songs that were personal to us and nailed them - the whole band is just so talented. Miguel took the time to get to know us and our family members and was such a good emcee for the evening. THANK YOU SOUL X FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING SO SPECIAL! This wedding band is amazing, you must hire them!! They made our wedding one that we will never forget and neither will our guests! They are fun, interactive, and just the nicest people. LITERALLY THE BEST WEDDING BAND EVER. Soul X played at our wedding. My husband and I cannot even begin to count the amount of our guest who said they were the best wedding band EVER (we had 200 guests). They were extremely personable and took the time to know us a couple and family. And let me tell you did they get EVERYONE dancing. My grandma who is 86 and straight up told me was sorry and wouldn't dance at my wedding she was just too old. And there she was! Gettin it! Words cannot express how much I recommend them for a wedding. They were absolutely perfect and made the night extra fun and special. Thank you!!!

SO GOOD! Soul X played our wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens and we couldn't be happier! They are amazing performers and know how to get people on their feet and keep them on the dance floor. The MC was unbelievable, he hyped everyone up before we made our entrance and even came out and gave us a pep talk before (as well as everyone who was giving a speech.) They are truly interactive with guests and everyone loved them. They worked with us to create a set list we loved and learned the songs we wanted played for our ceremony. Hiring them was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding!

WHAT A NIGHT!!!! Soul X played our wedding night, and they truly are the best!! They know exactly how to fill the dance floor all through the night!!! All our guests can’t stop talking about the band. They truly made our night one for the books! Hey we almost broke the dance floor everyone was dancing so hard! Christine and Soul X were phenomenal and absolutely made our daughter's wedding reception a night none of our guests will ever forget! Once they started playing, there wasn't a person in their seat for the entire 4 hour set! We had a blast and I highly recommend them! We had 2 members of the band on horns and that was really worth it! Thank you Christine!

BEST WEDDING BAND EVER! I would recommend Soul X time and time again. They delivered an unforgettable night. A month later, our wedding guests are still raving about Soul X. Some have said, “That was the best concert we’ve ever been to,” which makes us laugh because that’s what it felt like. When you plan a wedding, there are so many decisions to be made. I think it’s essential to decide what’s most important to you as a couple. My husband and I felt that as wedding guests in the past, we only remembered a few details about various weddings we attended. Did we have fun? Was the dance floor packed? Was it easy to get a drink, etc. We wanted to ensure that our guests who traveled to Beaver Creek, Colorado were wined and dined and had a blast dancing the night away. That was above all else, our top priority. We wanted a party. So, selecting the right entertainment was crucial. We spent weeks researching live bands in Colorado and beyond. We spoke with former brides and grooms to hear their experiences working with certain bands. Time and time again, people kept raving about Soul X. I eventually spoke with Christine Starkey of Soul X and was immediately impressed. She was willing to work with us to ensure the night went exactly how we envisioned, and our favorite song choices were played. Not all bands allow you to influence the set list, this is another reason to choose Soul X. Without having seen or heard Soul X in person, we took a leap of faith and booked them for our destination wedding. It was without a doubt the best decision we made. They are not just a band, they are above all else entertainers. The music was phenomenal, the lead vocals are incredible, they truly sound just like the artists of the songs they play. Their high energy performance set the tone for our entire evening and our guests loved it. Also, we added the horn section. If you have the means and the budget, we highly recommend you do so as well. Horns have such a fantastic impact. If music, dancing and entertainment is important to you, look no further. Soul X brings the heat and gets the fire blazing on the dance floor!! They bring their own flavor to many popular, old & new, hits and certainly bring the energy to get people moving, even for our company parties! We've booked the band twice now, and have yet to be disappointed!

My daughter and son-in-law's wedding would not have been the same without Soul X. They were so easy to work with and really got the party started. Soul-X was the “icing on the cake” at my daughters wedding! I have been to lots of weddings for family and friends and Soul-X was one of the best, if not THE BEST, band I have ever heard at a wedding. It was not just their amazing musical talents but, just as importantly, was their unique personalities that assisted in everything from how they introduced the wedding party, how they helped an emotional dad get through his toast, how they got the guests involved in the evening and how there energy never wavered for the 3 hours they performed. My wife and I have heard similar praise from so many of our guests that attended the wedding celebration. Soul X brought the heat and created an incredible atmosphere for my best friend's Aspen wedding! The band's cohesive and talented musical ability unified the dance floor, playing all the best songs that are widely known and loved. This band was phenomenal at my daughters wedding in Vail. Very high energy and had the dance floor packed from start to finish! We had two musicians play at her ceremony in the chapel, and they were amazing! Can’t recommend them highly enough.
