essed because we liked Dan in our initial meetings and they seemed reputable. We like the packages that they had and the online portal was easy to use. The issue is that you do not meet your actual DJ until a few weeks before the wedding. We had our initial meeting with DJ Nick and thought that everything would go smooth. He seemed like he got our vision and vibe. 2.5 weeks before the wedding, plans changed and we needed to get ahold of our DJ for ceremony music. He did not respond to us for two weeks after multiple texts, calls, and voicemails. It took a stern email to finally have someone reach out to us… three days before our wedding. We went over EVERYTHING including specific versions of songs and start/stop times. The day of the wedding, the ceremony music was “off” and my aisle song started at a random part of the song. It ended up working out so I brushed it off. Then the music we requested to play when we kissed never played. I made sure to confirm this with my maid of honor and she said she went over EVERY detail with him the afternoon of the wedding, including the part of the song we wanted to play right when we kissed. He claimed that it was a miscommunication which I also brushed off. Then the reception came. He started off with great hits that had people on the dance floor but then must have had us mixed up with a different wedding. He kept saying that he was going to play the “Rock” music we requested. My husband and I do not like rock music and had no idea where this was coming from. He then began to play rock music and people started leaving the dance floor. My husband request different music, and when the vibe didn’t change, my maid of honor and two bridesmaids requested different music on my behalf which he had an attitude and apparently said “I’m here to play music for more than just the bride”. After more music that was not our vibe, one of my friends showed him a playlist of music that is my husband and Is style and he yelled at her and told her that she is disrespectful and to leave the booth. He then came across the dance floor and pulled me, the bride, away from a conversation with my family and angrily stated that my guests are disrespectful and that if I’m not having a good time I need to say something. I apologized if he felt disrespected but I also let him know that I wanted music that we can sing and dance to, which we requested 2000s hip hop/ club pop, and he said that he is the DJ and has a responsibility to play for everyone… even though we know our guests and what they like. I was very upset at this as you don’t yell at the bride on her wedding day. Find my husband or my dad if you feel disrespected. I had multiple complaints after the wedding about the DJ being rude to them when they requested a song which gave me a lot of anxiety the day after my wedding knowing that my guests were snapped at. He then gave me his Venmo at the end of the night if we wanted to tip him. We already had designated tips for all of our vendors and my husband ended up giving it to him anyway just to move on from the situation. I have never written a review before, but I know how stressful planning a wedding is and hope that brides take this into consideration in the future. This review is in response to the one left on 11/08 about poor service. Dan personally reached out to me after I commented and offered his apologies and said he was going to be making internal changes going forward based on this experience which I really appreciated. He also offered a refund on this experience based on what we thought was appropriate before us even asking for one which I thought was great. He was very responsive and understanding and apologetic throughout this entire process. Dan is a very upstanding business owner and handled this matter with urgent care. Thank you very much Dan!

Spundblessed sold me, so I was paying tbh. Flexibility: 5, we changed times and the order slightly, response with questions thru email and even video chatted.

All of our guests had a great time dancing and partying and I got multiple compliments on how awesome our DJ was! He hand selected the most amazing songs to play and even came out to dance with us at different points to keep the dance floor going. Not only that, but Dan helped make our day run smoothly. He checked in with us and gave me the time to think when I needed to figure out how to coordinate things throughout the day and he helped me problem solve so things would go smoothly. I really appreciate him taking the time to help coordinate the day and make sure that we had what we needed as well (including something to drink so we could enjoy ourselves!) He was so flexible and was very attentive to the crowd. He picked up on the little things and was able to play music that the crowd would enjoy. I cannot say enough good things about SoundBlessed by DJ Dan. Highly recommend for your next event! Thank you DJ Dan!

where the dance floor was a bust, and let's just say that didn't even come close! I'm even inclined to say everyone would have been content to keep on dancing the night away! It brought a ton of joy to us to see our guests enjoying the moment and perhaps the most enjoyable moment of all was looking over to the DJ stand and seeing Dan rocking it away, totally in the zone!

perfect wedding, I mean that everything was perfect. DJ Dan was so incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly passionate about weddings! As we were planning and reaching out to him with ideas, he asked questions to best get to know us and our tastes. He did up-lighting, pre-ceremony music, ceremony music, and reception music for us as well as hosted a great party! We know a lot of folks in the wedding business and wanted to hire people that we love and support to also love and support us on our wedding day, so it wasn’t surprising that everyone at the wedding asked us if Dan was one of our friends! Before this, we did not know DJ Dan, but I think we could both say that we’d happily be friends! I think that is one of the best qualities in a DJ because they are kind of a driving force in a wedding, particularly for the party. DJ Dan was energetic, thoughtful, and upbeat all night. He noticed the children at the party itching to get on the dance floor and checked in with us to see if we’d be cool with some kid’s bops. Everyone lost their minds when Baby Shark came on! (In the best way possible!) As we went around to chat with our guests, one of the resounding complements we got was how amazing DJ Dan was! We cannot more highly recommend Soundblessed by DJ Dan for anyone looking for a DJ; he was perfect on our perfect day!
