I'm not sure how many photographers would be willing, let alone capable, of climbing up the St. Augustine Lighthouse to get shots and then back down to take aerial shots with a drone, all while only having about 20 minutes of light left in the day. His vision and pose coaching are spectacular even when managing shots with 20+ people. We loved working with Steve, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

re what the main photographer wanted from him while photographing the grooms suite, and frankly it shows. We have some gorgeous photos from our wedding day, and some photos that are poorly shot and composed (several are off center/tilted), you can tell who took which pictures instead of having a cohesive album/style. That said, Southern Palms did get us our photos within a week of our wedding which was amazing and the cost was quite reasonable. We just wish there had been more communication between the two photographers and at a minimum a matching style.

eady booked but Zach, the owner has a second company that he taught the same exact techniques to and we went with them as it was an extension of Southern Palms. I cannot say this enough, spend your money on your videographer and photography!! It is so worth it in the end. Nobody is going to care about the color of the centerpieces or the flowers. What will matter are the photos and video. We were blown away with our video. It felt like a music video for the song we chose but 10x better!!!! Everything was magical! They were so professional and it was everything we could've dreamed of. Also, Lisa was super helpful and sweet! Thank you so much guys!!!

We knew we wanted to hire a videographer so that we had a special keepsake video that we could have to remember our small but special day, as well as share with our family who could not attend. I had scheduled so many meetings with numerous different companies in Florida and Georgia. The first on my list was meeting Tyler and Zac with Southern Palm Studio. After my meeting with Tyler and Zac, I canceled all the other meetings. My mind was made up. They completely sold me and not because there are good salesmen, but because I could tell that they were honest, genuine, and cared about me and my husband. I instantly fell in love with Tyler's talent. His lighting and angles were so perfect. His photos weren't over edited or "fake". I could feel the love that these couples shared through a photograph. The couples were posed but everything looked so fluid and effortless. You can truly tell that he has a passion for wedding photography and cares about his clients. As soon as I put down the down payment, I felt confident. Tyler communicated with me throughout the planning process. He checked on me and asked how I was doing. I felt like he actually cared and he gave me good advice along the way. He even reached out to me on Veteran's Day to tell my husband thank you for his service. When our wedding day came, we felt like we had known Tyler for years. There was an instant connection and he blew us away. He could turn around and command a non-listening family member and then turn to us and calm every single nerve we had. It was truly amazing to watch him go from hard to gentle. My husband and I could tell that Tyler had us as his main focus, he just wanted our happiness. People don't talk about post-wedding depression but I believe it's a real thing. The day went by so fast and I was so sad. I kept wishing we could just go back. After Tyler got my photos back, I literally spent hours gawking and crying over them. I didn't realize that a photographer could make you relive a day. Now, every time I look at the photos, it takes me back. All the photos have emotion and love in them. He captured everything we wanted and more. I want every single photo, yes all 862 of them, on the walls of my home. Tyler was the best purchase I have ever made and honestly I would have paid him triple for the results we got. Tyler, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU.

Not only was he our photographer but basically our coordinator. Some family complained about Tyler being "bossy" but he was simply looking out for the bride and grooms wishes and he always kept that his priority. I could not have asked for anything more. Amazing.

Our photos were edited and available for us to view within a few short weeks after our wedding (with some teasers sent a few days after) and sent to us in an online gallery that was easy to share with friends and family. We also had a bunch of family that were unable to make the wedding due to health reasons so having a full ceremony video helped them feel a part of our wedding ceremony which was very important to us.
