St. Paul College Club

The St Paul College Club could not have been a more perfect venue for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and has in-house catering, which made that part of planning much simpler. The venue coordinators Tracy and Keelia were extremely helpful via email as we planned our wedding from out of state on a relatively short timeline, making sure every detail was accounted for and mapping out a day-of timeline for us and their staff. Thank you for everything!

I cannot stress enough how perfect this location was. When we first visited, we knew instantly that this was the venue for us--cozy, spacious, comfortable, elegant. The lead coordinator, Tracy, was very responsive and helpful throughout and made the planning process easy with her list of recommended vendors and the venue's chef sampling event to help us plan our menu. Tracy served as a day-of coordinator and made sure everything flowed smoothly from the moment we arrived. We loved having so many different spaces for people to gather--the intimate, elegant library/bar; the open lounge with its fireplace; the reception hall with a dance floor; the patio with cafe lighting, etc.--and our guests loved having the freedom to roam around. We didn't bring any decor in (aside from the bridal party bouquets that we converted into centerpieces after the ceremony)--the venue is gorgeous enough as is! I can't recommend this place enough!

My dream wedding! St. Paul College Club made for the most STUNNING venue and the team there was amazing. If you’re looking for a venue in the St. Paul area with historic charm, this is it. We had our wedding the third weekend in October. Team - Tracy and her team were exceptional throughout the whole process answering my every question quickly. They made me feel like my wedding was the only event on their books, which for a bride, was reassuring. We had rented the space starting at 9 a.m. and without even being asked the team started helping set up with flowers, table cards and more. During the reception, they came to check on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed – drinks, food, and so much more. They didn’t miss a beat. Before coming to St. Paul College Club, Tracy worked with other venues. She took all the things that are annoyances, problems, and difficult in planning a wedding and made sure that events/weddings were not ran like that here. Food & Drinks – 12/10 – The chef and his team are top-notch. Everyone was served large portions, and the food everyone raved about. Two months later someone was talking to me about the chicken they ate that night, it’s THAT good. They also were accommodating to any allergies and more. We served apps at happy hour which were such a hit too. We loved being able to bring all our own alcohol and worked with their recommended bartending company and everything was PERFECT. Venue – 10/10, the locations, vibes, all of it stunned both in town and out of town guests. Perfect distance to DT St. Paul so did not need to offer transportation, plenty of things to do in the area for out of town guests, and more. Having the entire mansion was also really awesome as we found different groups of guests hanging out in separate areas. The venue is so timeless and beautiful itself that minimal décor was needed which was nice. Transparency – The team is 100 percent transparent. There were no hidden costs/fees or anything which when planning such a big event does put a curve in things, if not disclosed. They also go above and beyond to let you know what they think might be needed given on the wedding size, and more. For example, I wanted two bars and we opted for passed champagne, which was an excellent touch and at a fraction of the cost. Final Notes, As with any event, make sure you know what questions you have and ask them. Remember, they don't know what you do know or know, so just ask! I found this to be the most helpful Also, make sure your table arrangements and layout is done well beforehand. I had thought everyone was going to be able to be in the main dining room but once we figured it out, we had to move guests to the other room, which wasn't ideal. It worked just fine in the end and there was enough time to work through it but there was a bit of heartache upon that realization that might have been avoided if discussed earlier! We had 170 guests. Again, such a dream!!

We absolutely loved the St. Paul College Club as our venue. Everything went very smoothly the day-of, food was great, and the space was both beautiful and versatile! Our only very minor complaint was that a little better communication and attention to detail from the coordination team would have been helpful, but it didn't put a damper on our day. Highly recommend having a wedding or any event there!

St Paul College Club was the perfect venue! The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Tracy was so valuable and asked us questions we hadn’t even thought of in our planning meeting. Having her and Keelia, the day of coordinator, really made the planning and day of much less stressful. It’s such a beautiful venue there wasn’t much we needed to do for decor. I also appreciate that there is outdoor and indoor space available and the staff and venue are very flexible for any weather changes. The food was also delicious. We got so many compliments on our venue.

We LOVED having our wedding at St. Paul college club. There were a few things that made it especially great and guest also commended on: 1) the venue is beautiful and timeless without feeling stuffy/too fancy 2) the food was great! 3) There were plenty of rooms to explore / use. We had people in the ballroom dancing, people playing cards in the living room, kiddos sleeping upstairs, and people out by the fire. This made for a great space to be together as a group when we wanted, and also spread out and talk to guests at other times. 4) the outdoor space was gorgeous. We really lucked out and the weather was warm enough at the end of October to have our wedding outside. Tracy and the whole team did a great job of making the day incredibly special, low stress and overall fantastic!

Pro: Our wedding turned out great and the day of coordinator had everything under control - The food was surprisingly good! Con: (and I realize some people might not find this a con; it's more of a personal pet peeve) However, the communication could be better. Yes, Tracy replied to every email, but you could tell she was very rushed to respond. Often times she only answered half of the email or provided incorrect information - it just made for unnecessary back and forth and it comes across disorganized and chaotic. Another thing to add to her communication style - because she is so rushed to keep things moving, it kind of took the fun out of the process. This was especially apparent during our planning meeting. She just breezed through it and was a tad condescending when we asked questions. This is our big day! We have never done this before, of course we are going to have questions. I get that this is her job and she does it daily. I just wish she would have slowed down a bit.

The team at the St Paul College Club went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They were organized and efficient, great with the planning, and an absolute dream on the day of. They kept everything running smoothly, handled our vendors and decorations for us, and constantly checked in with us to make sure that if we wanted to change anything about the day they would handle it. The service team was amazing and the food is so, so good. I didn't expect my wedding day to be completely stress free, but it truly was thanks to the event team at St Paul College Club!

We had the perfect wedding day at the SPCC. It is such a beautiful venue - great for wedding photographs. Tracy was so amazing in planning our wedding and helping us customize everything to how we wanted. On the day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a thing. Keelia, our day of coordinator, was great as well. Our guests had SO much fun. I cannot recommend the SPCC enough.

While the St. Paul College Club is timeless and beautiful, it's Tracy, Keelia, and their staff that make this an exceptional venue to host a wedding at. From start to finish, Tracy saw all the details of our day through. She instilled confidence in our choices and made our non-traditional ceremony/reception dreams come true. All of the SPCC staff are professional, kind, and were able/willing to handle unexpected surprises. From ambiance, to service, to food, SPCC exceeded all of our expectations.

My husband and I got married at the St. Paul College Club in April and it was a wonderful experience. While there were a few communication snafus during the planning process, Tracy, the venue coordinator, was quick to address our concerns and promised everything on the day-of would be perfect. She and the whole team (catering, bar tenders, etc.) at the College Club really delivered. Our day was magical and the venue and food were highlights for us and our guests. We chose to do a cocktail style reception and the space lent itself so well to that relaxed yet classy vibe. The food was amazing and we were glad to have so much say in the menu. We chose to serve an entirely vegetarian menu and had some other dietary needs to consider and the chef and team did a wonderful job. I would recommend the St. Paul College Club to anyone looking for a stunning, versatile venue with a perfect location for out of town guests (5 miles from the airport). Thank you Tracy and team for such an unforgettable experience!

St. Paul College Club and Tracy helped me create the wedding of my dreams, it would not have been possible without them. We have gotten so many compliments on the food, the service, and the beautiful venue in general. It was very important to me that everyone on the day of happened in the same space so I didn’t have to worry about logistics, and the St. Paul College Club was perfect from start to finish!

Our wedding at SPCC was fantastic! The venue is beautifully maintained and we loved the option of having our ceremony outside, and SPCC provided plenty of decor options to go along with what we brought. Tracy, Keelia, and the rest of the staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and Tracy provided a lot of great suggestions during our planning meeting such as taking some time after the ceremony for the two of us to sit in the wedding suite and just breath before joining cocktail hour. We can't speak more highly of everything Keelia did on the day of the wedding to get all of the details set for the ceremony and reception. We had several guests comment that their meal was the best wedding food they've ever had, and we agree! Our only critique from our experience working with SPCC is that Tracy seemed to be so busy with the number of weddings booked at the venue, there were some delays in our email communication. We occasionally had questions that weren't answered until we reached back out a few days later, and more prompt replies would have helped ease some of the stress of planning the details. This being said, everything worked out well and our wedding day went flawlessly! We'd highly recommend using St. Paul College Club for your wedding day!

We had the absolute best experience working with SPCC! Tracy is so easy to work with and she knows her stuff! The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from guests. The venue itself was perfect! We had around 150 guests attend out wedding, and if you are getting married in warmer weather, the outdoor space during the reception is a dream! The weather on our wedding day was perfect and most people spent their time outside during cocktail hour and even after dinner. So many guests stayed until the very end I think it was because of having space outside of the dance area to chat with family and friends whether that was in the living room, upstairs, or outdoors. Another bonus of SPCC is that you get to bring your own alcohol into the venue. We went through their preferred vendor to order most of our alcohol, and I don't think we could have saved as much money as we did by being able to bring in our own booze! Bonus is the amazing bathroom upstairs that so many of guests used to take pictures and the governors cat who made a visit during our reception. I highly recommend SPCC to anyone - you won't regret it!!

The SPCC made this the best day of our lives! Tracy the day-of coordinator is THE BEST - from her communication, to keeping it real, to all her support, she was all over it and we did not feel stressed at all! We are so happy with every single thing- it was truly perfect!

Tracy and her team made our wedding day go super smoothly. We had to pivot to an indoor ceremony at the last minute and even though we were disappointed at first, people kept telling us how stunning the venue was so we got over it :) Great food, great people - very accommodating and hands-off.

The most beautiful venue and location - we didn’t have to do too much decorating because the space is so gorgeous on its own, but we loved the decor options they offered as part of our package too. The venue is perfect for photos, so many unique backgrounds for formal photos and great for candids during the reception because each part of the venue is so pretty. Our guests really enjoyed the food and we appreciated the opportunity to DIY our bar offerings so we could customize and also save a ton of $$ on that part of the reception. The staff were friendly and fun to work with, and we had the best time using the upstairs spaces to get ready on the day of. We changed to this venue kind of last minute due to multiple COVID postponements and couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.

The most BEAUTIFUL venue. Not only do you get an amazing space with an amazing staff and great food, the venue doubles as a historical attraction. Our parents loved giving their friends a tour of the place and learning the history. A Saint Paul gem!!! Highly recommend!

We are still over the moon with how our wedding weekend came together! Our celebration at the St. Paul College Club on Sept 25th was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for all your help and expertise throughout our wedding planning process. All of our friends and family who were there with us are still raving about the food and atmosphere at the SPCC. The micro-wedding event options they have to offer are wonderful and no details are overlooked. When we had been searching for venues this was the only one we felt allowed us to really customize and personalize our wedding celebration. Due to COVID-19 we had to change our plans a few times and the team at the SPCC was accommodating and helpful along the way. We’re glad we were able to celebrate at this special place!

I could go on and on about how perfect this venue was for us. First, it's a beautiful space with lots of opportunities for remarkable photographs. Their outdoor and indoor spaces are spectacular, but anyone who visits the SPCC can see that. Because of COVID, the SPCC was extremely nimble in dealing with changes we had to make to the wedding. This is where I want to introduce the wedding planner at the venue, Tracy, who was kind, generous, professional, and every positive adjective I can come up with. She made planning a COVID wedding *fun*. She made us feel at ease the entire time. She welcomed us to the SPCC any time we had questions, always offering us something to ease our spirits (cookies, mimosa, etc), demonstrating not just a tremendous capacity to deal with the details of our wedding but empathy and generosity, as well. As the situation changed, she offered us new and creative ways to approach the wedding, including outdoor live music, outdoor seating, etc. On the day of the wedding, there was concern about rain; she gave us a call and told us not to worry, she would take care of moving things inside if the weather did not permit outside seating. In fact, at no point did we have to worry about the details. We told her what we wanted (even semi-last minute changes like adding a cocktail to our bartender's list of things to serve) and she made it happen. Here, I want to talk about the food. Because of COVID, we could not sample the food in advance to make informed selections for our hors d'oeuvres or dinner (they typically do a tasting with several couples at a time, which had to be cancelled for health concerns). She made recommendations and we trusted her -- and we are so glad we did. The food was *phenomenal*. It was honestly the best food I've ever had at a wedding -- and it was our wedding! Yay! All in all, such a pleasure to share our wedding experience with the team at the SPCC. We look forward to doing other events there.

Incredible! I can't say enough great things about SPCC. The minute I walked in, I knew this was THE venue for our wedding. Our day was absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful - I received SO many compliments about how beautiful our wedding. It's also the perfect backdrop for gorgeous photos. Keelia and Jenny were completely amazing to work with. Keelia was our day of coordinator and she was a total rockstar. The day could not have been more perfect. Everyone had the best time!

We had a wonderful experience working with Jenny and Keelia for our wedding reception! They helped us every step of the way with planning and promptly answered any questions we had throughout the planning process. I really appreciated that they didn't try to oversell us on anything, they let us decide what we wanted to include in our venue package to make the day ours. On our big day the venue looked incredible and the food was amazing - everyone was telling us how everything was delicious! There is not a thing I would change about our wedding day and hosting our reception at St. Paul College Club.

The Saint Paul College Club was the perfect reception venue for our wedding!! I can’t say enough good things about them! The space was beautiful, we received multiple compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was, we were able to bring in our own liquor, and the staff was amazing. Our outdoor wedding ceremony, reception, and dinner were held at the St Paul College Club on Sept. 8, 2019. Everything about our wedding there exceeded our expectations. Jenny, their wedding event planner, worked closely with us the 9 months before to answer our many questions, listen, and offer helpful suggestions. The day was rainy until 2 hrs before the ceremony. The staff dried off furniture and everything went as planned. Our family and guests raved about the site, reception, dinner- and excellent food! We loved our St Paul College Club experience and highly recommend it!

We knew we wanted a venue in St. Paul that had history, charm, and significance. The St. Paul College Club was all of those things and more- the perfect balance of elegance with the comfort of getting married at home (well, someone else's very fancy home). The variety of spaces allowed for guests of all ages and interests to enjoy their time at the wedding. Folks who wanted a quiet space to talk could be in the library or the sun porch, while those looking to dance and party could be in the main room on the dance floor. We got married on a beautiful September day and loved being able to have our ceremony in the backyard and then continue to use the backyard space well into the night. We had about 30 children of all ages at our wedding and at Jenny's suggestion, we used one of the upstairs rooms as a kids room. The kids absolutely loved it but I think their parents loved it even more. We did heavy hors d'oeuvres for dinner. Our guests loved the food and we enjoyed being able to keep the party going without having a sit down dinner. We saved so much money by bringing in our own alcohol - especially because Total Wine let us return anything we didn't use. It also allowed us to completely customize the drinks available. Jenny and the staff at the St. Paul College Club were extremely helpful and made sure no detail was overlooked. We felt supported and acknowledged at every step along the way. Jenny had a direct, no-nonsense approach on the day of the wedding and admitted that she needs to get bossy so that people listen and pay attention. While we understand the need to be direct to get the point across in the day-of chaos, unfortunately that approach came across as rudeness to some of our Midwestern guests and wedding party. Our wedding was absolutely everything we could have dreamed of! We highly recommend the St. Paul College Club!

This beautiful venue, owned by the American Association of University Women, is perfect. The event coordinator made our experience better than we imagined it could be. She was organized, full of great ideas, especially helpful, and fun. On the day of the wedding, she made sure the entire event went smoothly. Several members of our wedding party and our parents commented on how awesome she was. Almost everyone who attended the wedding also commented on the food, which was spectacular. If the chef at the St. Paul College Club opened his own restaurant, we’d be the first to make reservations. We hope someone we know gets married at the St. Paul College Club soon so that we have a good reason to go back!

The St. Paul College Club was a total DREAM. We toured a lot of venues around the Twin Cities, but nothing compared to St. Paul College Club. It is a GORGEOUS house, with many areas for guests to spread out and talk to many people, versus just having to be at their tables all night. The location is stunning - right on historical Summit Avenue in St. Paul. There's also a beautiful backyard you have access to (it snowed on our October wedding day, so we weren't out there much) that is a gorgeous extension of the house. This venue is stately while also being extremely cozy, and feels secluded, even with being less than 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul. A big reason we chose St. Paul College Club was the ability to make our reception exactly how we wanted. I did not want a band or DJ, just a playlist. They have an awesome audio setup you can bundle in, including a projector. You can also bring all of your own alcohol for the bar, which was another way for us to really make it our own, by only bringing the items we wanted to serve. The staff was also just flexible with how we wanted the rooms setup, the schedule to run, and how the decorations were done (sidenote: they have a decorator who will setup everything for you, you just drop it all off!). Their in-house chef is incredible, (and took out the necessity for us to choose a caterer) and I got SO many compliments on the food. Meet with them - their schedule fills up quickly!

The College Club was so incredibly helpful, professional, and we couldn't have asked for a better vendor for our special day! Our guests raved about the food, the decor, and the overall atmosphere that the mansion provides! We are so happy we went with the College Club!

We absolutely adored this venue from the moment we walked through the door! It gives you a great feeling to know that part of the expenses help the women's club provide scholarships for women. The "a la carte" style may seem overwhelming at first, but it was so nice to be able to design our wedding just the way we wanted it without spending gobs of money! So convenient to have an exclusive caterer - made our planning so much easier! We decided on heavy hors d'oeuvres rather than a formal sit-down dinner, which helped guests mingle and take advantage of the many rooms in the mansion! Also, the ability to bring your own alcohol cannot be overstated!!! We still get comments from guests about how fun it was! The staff at SPCC were stellar; in fact, I remember calling Jenny "my spirit animal." Ha! Such a special thing to get along so well with your event coordinator. They made our dreams come true! The day itself was perfect. The mansion created a space that was both classic/timeless/elegant AND homey/welcoming/fun! Not to mention, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and your photos will turn out so well! We recommend this space for any event - it is so special! So grateful!

My husband and I were extremely happy with St. Paul College Club and could not have asked for a better experience. The venue was perfect for our budget and the overall flow of our wedding. The staff was great to work with, too. Jenny was always hospitable and open to us dropping by with questions or to see the space, and the day-of staff were thoughtful and professional. The food was also delicious. The College Club itself is a beautiful space and very well maintained--highly recommend for both indoor and outdoor weddings! The venue was absolutely stunning for our wedding! All of the decorating was done prior to our arrival on the day of, including the incorporation of a few of our own personal decorations. The option to be inside, outside, on the dance floor, or chatting in a separate room was really nice so that all the guests at our wedding could find a place to relax or party, depending on what they wanted to do. St. Paul College Club was so homey and inviting! But without any of our friends or family having to do the work of hosting. Jenny was a wonderful help prior to and during our wedding ceremony/reception. She made sure everything was running smoothly so we could just relax and enjoy our guests. The serving of our hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and dessert went seamlessly. We would highly recommend this venue!

I could not be happier with the experience Kelly and I had at the St Paul College Club. The venue, staff and food were exceptional. Not only did our wedding day go as well as we could have asked for but the entire planning process was fun due to Jenny, our wedding coordinator through St Paul College Club. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Very reasonably priced as well!

Want a unique and very personal setting for your event? The St. Paul College Club was our perfect solution to the "every venue is the same" problem. This gracious and beautiful home felt at once personal yet spacious, and the staff treated our guests as though they had known them for years. The Event Manager, the French Trained Chef, and everyone we worked with were professional, immediately responsive, open to our ideas, and implemented everything we asked for with ease. Our guests are still talking about it! One of a kind!

I would absolutely recommend SPCC to anyone! It is by far the best bang for your buck in the Twin Cities area! The venue is absolutely stunning, even for a winter wedding - we were nervous about getting married in the Winter because we didn't think things would be as pretty but boy were we wrong! So many compliments on the venue and especially the food! Did I mentioned it's BYOB? Talk about a money saver. And let me tell you about the staff... AMAZING - I had 2 coordinators leave throughout my process which was scary, but Jennifer and Keelia stepped right up and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable - they take care of EVERYTHING for you, our parents were blown away by their services. Book your wedding here - you won't regret it.

We loved having our wedding at the St. Paul College Club in December! For a winter wedding, the venue was perfect. Lots of interesting rooms and areas for people to flow in and out of - I especially love their library where we took our formal photos. Jennifer P. was a fantastic coordinator for the venue and worked extremely hard to make sure that everything was ready for our big day. We had a 1.5 year engagement and prior to Jennifer we had two other coordinators, Jennifer L. and Kelsey. Jennifer P. took on our wedding only two months before the date, but she tackled it head-on and was extremely professional and dedicated to our event! I also have to thank the rest of the staff for making the whole day run so smoothly. There are a lot of people that work behind the scenes to pull off a wedding like this and we were extremely pleased with their service!! The St. Paul College Club is a fantastic venue and they know how to do their job well. They have lots of great vendor recommendations and a partnership with Thomas Liquors. The food from their in-house chef was also excellent, especially the beef burgundy! We got many complements on the beauty of the venue and the quality of the food. I would recommend the St. Paul College Club to anyone!

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the experience we had at the St. Paul College Club. We were engaged and married within 4 months, thanks to a timely cancellation on October 6th. We worked with Jennifer at the College Club who was absolutely outstanding. Singlehandedly, she seemed to do it all: great advice on vendors, layout, ceremony timing, food, appetizers. She was timely in her responses to inquiries. And on the day of the wedding, she was everything we needed - guiding us to where we needed to be at the right time, answering questions, coordinating, getting us wine. She was extremely effective. Great experience all around. So many people have told us this was one of the best weddings (and venues) they have ever been to. Highly recommended.

The venue was beautiful and I did have my ceremony outside. The food was the best! Many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had! Service staff was great like the bartenders and waitstaff. You could bring in your own alcohol which was a huge advantage for me, saved us a lot of money!! Coordinator was a disappointment however, didn’t help out as much as I thought. The dance floor area also got to hot and many guests went outside to cool off. Overall great wedding.

St. Paul College Club was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The staff was amazing. Becca and the staff did an incredible job making our day absolutely perfect. The food was incredible. In fact, we are still getting compliments from our wedding guests about how much they loved the food. We decided to have a heavy apps style reception which worked really for the space, and gave a really nice variety. We had about 125 people at our wedding, and people were able to spend time inside or outside in the beautiful back yard. We loved that we could bring in our own beverages, which helped save on cost. The house itself is beautiful and really doesn't need any decoration. Overall, we loved everything about the St. Paul College Club. We highly recommend it! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

We just had our wedding and reception here this last weekend, and I cannot say enough good things. It was the perfect day, thanks in large part to our event coordinator Jennifer! We had planned for an outdoor garden wedding, but she moved it flawlessly indoors due to rain (which I expected to be bummed about, but it was perfect). She made sure everything was on schedule, kept us laughing, and assisted all our guests. The venue itself is gorgeous and we heard nothing but compliments from our guests. Additionally, my husband was nervous to reserve a venue in which you cannot have outside catering (other than dessert) and he, along with myself and our guests, were blown away with the food. I cannot recommend SPCC (and Jennifer!) enough.

We can't say enough about how much we liked working with the St. Paul College Club. We planned our wedding remotely, and the coordinators at the club made it so easy. We decided to go with some of the venue's suggested vendors, and they were all wonderful. Bonus: we saved so much money by being able to bring own alcohol. The property is beautiful and the food is delicious. Many of our guests loved that they could either dance or enjoy sitting outside during the reception. We highly recommend this venue!

SPCC is a beautiful venue and was the perfect setting for our May wedding! Kelsey was super easy to work with and very responsive to all my questions along the way. All of our guests raved about their meals and loved being able to mix and mingle throughout the mansion and grounds.

Becca, our coordinator, was incredible - very detailed-oriented and super responsive. Bringing our own alcohol saved us a lot of money. Just FYI - there is a "decorator" included but honestly she did not do much, I didn't ever really meet her, but my personal attendant and mom ended up doing a lot of the decorations -so make sure you have someone available day of to decorate! All around a great wedding venue, decent pricing, and awesome food & atmosphere! It was really nice to have a coordinator included because we didn't have to spend extra money on a wedding planner or day-of coordinator.

Unfortunately, most of the good things we’d heard about the SPCC turned out not to be true for our family’s wedding. We went through three coordinators during our months of planning. The first one, who is cited in many reviews, was wonderful, but she left. The one we ended up with made numerous errors, and was in her office for much of our event, negating the benefit of having someone else ensure that the day go smoothly. The SPCC no longer throws in any “freebies,” such as the chandelier hanging in the main room or the café lighting in the yard (things that we’d heard had been gifted in the past to friends who used SPCC). For our wedding, they ran out of the main dish during the dinner, despite numerous assurances in advance that they never run out of food. The coordinator first blamed it on the sous chef who was running things that night (we hadn’t been told that the head chef would be gone), and then said it was the fault of our guests because they took too much food. They broke down the tables for the dance floor without warning (which they had said they would provide), so numerous guests lost their individualized gift that was at their place. (Most of the gifts never were found.) We’d been told the security officer would be a friendly plain clothes person who would help greet the guests; instead we got a uniformed, armed man who looked very unhappy to be there. We didn’t get our security deposit back for seven weeks, despite numerous requests, including a certified letter. The manager was very difficult to work with when we tried to address these and other issues following the wedding, and we were highly dissatisfied with the result. The parts of the wedding over which we had control were beautiful, but we were extremely disappointed with the coordinator, the kitchen and the manager. Until those things change, we’d advise that you look elsewhere if you want to ensure the day of your dreams.

Perfect venue for a medium sized wedding. Our late-July ceremony was held in the beautiful backyard with our 100/110 guests fit perfectly into the garden for the ceremony (and gorgeous pictures) and the reception hall for dinner. During the party, we spread out across the space and spilled out into the garden: everyone could find what they wanted, loud music and dancing or quiet conversation in the comfy library. Rebecca & the whole team at the St Paul College Club do a great job and give the day a gentle guiding hand, so the bride can relax and enjoy her day. The house is grand enough that you don't have to do much in terms of decoration, but you can, and that flexibility was exactly what I needed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely perfect! The employees were extremely helpful and made it seem like anything was possible and the venue was talked about nonstop by my guests. It definitely helped make my day memorable in all the right ways!

We loved getting married at the St. Paul College Club. However, we had a few frustrating experiences- there was turnover with the 2 event coordinators, so we were handed off to 3 different coordinators in the span of only a few months. This made communication somewhat difficult as we would need to re-explain details to each new coordinator. On the day of the wedding, they ran out of our buffet entree, and told us that it was our fault that our guests ate too much. Although these experiences were negative, the setting was intimate and perfect for a wedding. The food was delicious, everything flowed well from inside to outside, there is ample free parking right in front of the venue, and the location is really close to the airport and many surrounding hotels. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons for us, and we would recommend this venue to others.

The team at the SPCC were great to work with to plan our day. Every aspect of the venue is beautiful and a perfect setting for our wedding. The backyard/garden where we had the ceremony was phenomenal. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a vintage feel for their wedding and/or an outdoor wedding.

Overall our experience here was just wonderful. The venue is unique and we loved getting to spend time with our guests outside in the back yard during our reception. The people here know what they're doing and made the day run so smoothly. Compared to other vendors we looked at they were the most flexible. Couples can bring their own alcohol which saves some money. Decor-wise, they were open to anything and they made everything look wonderful on the day of. Our only sadness was not being able to have the party go longer on the day of the wedding!

Kelsey made this whole experience a breeze. Guests loved it, we loved it! Food is delicious, the bar option saved us thousands, setting is gorgeous and can't be beat.

My daughter got married at the St Paul College Club May 13 and we could not be happier with this venue! The day was perfect, the food was fabulous, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was decorated exactly how my daughter asked. I highly recommend the College Club-Kelsey was the best!!! Thank you for an absolutely wonderful day!

We were able to have our dream wedding at the St. Paul College Club! It was everything we imagined. The staff is professional, flexible and really willing to make your day unique and personal. Also - the option to BYOB is amazing. We saved SO much, and got lots of compliments on our drinks. Something we never would have been able to afford had we not gone here. The only negative experience we had was that in our year long engagement, we went through three different event coordinators. They were all wonderful, but it made it a little hard to keep things consistent.

I cannot say enough good things about SPCC. We decided on the venue about a year and 3 months before we got married. We started working with Lindsay, and finished the process with Mackenzie since Lindsay left. Both of the ladies were very helpful and asked us many questions that we would not have thought about! It was honestly like having a wedding planner included. I most appreciated this during the week leading up to the wedding. We picked up our alcohol (very cheap to have an open bar since you bring your own!) and other decorations and dropped them off. They put everything up and decorated where we wanted it. I kept having friends and family offering their help, and we just got to spend time with them instead of having to spend our time working on setting up since it was done for us. I felt completely stress free that week, and on the day of the wedding. They were there to help the florist and other vendors as they arrived. They take care of absolutely everything, and come and quietly let you know when they are about to start the next thing. We received so many compliments on the venue - I think everyone thought it was so expensive, but it is very budget friendly! If you add on all the extras they offer it can get very expensive, but we didn't and the venue is so gorgeous you don't need to! Highly recommend. Our wedding size was 130 - it was the perfect size for the venue. I would recommend this venue to anyone! Oh - and the food was delicious!!
