This venue was absolutely perfect! Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the barn looked. Kayla and Marie were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process. They always got back to us if we had any questions or wanted to make any changes. They had great suggestions on how to make the venue look fantastic and knew exactly how best to fill the space. Our night went off even better than expected and our family can't stop talking about it! Thank you, Kayla and Marie!!
Strawberry Farms was the perfect venue for our wedding! We absolutely loved the cozy feel of the barn and the beautiful ceremony lawn. The entire event was beautiful and our guests had a fantastic time. Kayla, Alison, and Marie are absolute professionals and helped keep us stress-free and able to enjoy our wedding day. We would 100% recommend the venue to anyone: it's beautiful, the food was superb, and the team at Strawberry Farms is top-notch.

This was the wedding venue my dreams! The big red barn is where I wanted to get married as a little girl and it happened! Kayla and Alison were so great to work with! I had to postpone 2 times because of Covid and they were so accommodating and helpful. They took all my decor and made the venue look better than I could ever imagine. They helped us destress and enjoy our day! I could not recommend this venue more!
Highly recommend Strawberry Farms!! We had our ceremony and reception at this venue and could not be happier with how beautiful and fun our wedding day was! Our guests shared that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Kayla & Allison were the best resources for the planning process and made it so easy to choose our remaining vendors (florals, DJ, Photography, Videography - together - the DREAM Team). It was an amazing feeling to be able to relax and enjoy the day, knowing the details were in good hands with the Planning Duo! The on site catering, bartenders, and staff were all professional and so kind to us and our guests. We loved working with Strawberry Farms!! It was everything we dreamed of and more for our big day!
Strawberry Farms is not only a beautiful location for wedding ceremony and reception but the staff is by far the friendliest people you will ever meet! Kayla and Ingrid made our experience effortless and we felt at complete ease, they handled everything! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, from the beautiful ceremony on the lawn to the delicious food and the absolute blast of a reception in the big red barn! Highly recommend!
I can't say enough about this venue and the team of coordinators. The setting was absolutely perfect for my now husband and I. Ceremony space is lovely, with beautiful greenery, shrubs, and flowers...you almost don't even feel like you're at a golf course. The barn gives the rustic vibe but more upscale, which is exactly what we wanted (and it's air conditioned)! The food was amazing. Great appetizers for cocktail hour. The sea bass for dinner is SPECTACULAR...all our guests were raving about it. And we were big fans of the garlic mashed potatoes as well. The coordinators make the day run flawlessly. They have this thing down to a science. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day, which was a huge deal and allowed us to just fully enjoy ourselves. Would highly recommend this venue!
We had our wedding reception at Strawberry Farms, and would have had our wedding ceremony here as well if we didn't already have our hearts set on getting married in our church (where we met each other). This is a beautiful venue, and we really liked the idea of having our reception in a barn. It is not a rustic barn, if that is what you are looking for but it still looks great in wedding photos (in fact they have a golf cart that takes the bride and groom over to a nearby lake for scenic wedding pictures). We hung Chinese lanterns and it really made the ambiance something special. There was a small fee for hanging them but very modest. They have two wedding coordinators that work all the details out with you and they make things really simple: they have a list of DJs, a list of florists, a list of photographers with whom they already have connections with. You have to pick two of the three for them to do your wedding/reception or pay a small fee for not. We picked their florist and DJ. The DJ (Joe Paxton from Atmosphere Events) was awesome and even came in an hour early, no extra charge, to set up so our guests wouldn't have to wait outside in the cold (we had a December wedding). Our Strawberry Farms wedding coordinator handled that all for us. Overall, very satisfied with our experience at Strawberry Farms. We have already recommended them to our engaged friends.
We got married this past October. And Strawberry Farms was an amazing venue. A couple months after we chose the location we moved up to the bay area. Just a little piece of advice, if you can avoid it don't plan your wedding from 300 miles away. I'm a stress case and being that far away, and having to fly down every other month for a year is not ideal (I'm not a fan of flying). But anyways, Patti and Kayla the wedding coordinators are awesome. You have the option to use them for an extra charge or to find your own coordinator. I 120% recommend using them as your coordinator. They know the venue, they know the staff, and they know the frequent vendors that go to their location. They were able to put my stress case self at ease many times. We had our ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the veranda, and the reception in the barn. The veranda for the cocktail hour is a little extra, but also worth it. The day before I gave all my extra decorations to Patti and Kayla. And the whole thing came together. And i didn't have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. The bridal suite was nice and they put a bottle of champagne (way to my heart) and chocolate covered strawberries in the room for use while getting ready. The food was delicious. The hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and the salads and entrees at the reception. When we did the food tasting a few months before the big day it was hard to choose which food to serve. The wait staff was nice and probably the best part of the reception is that we got to eat before everyone else. They brought our dinner out while everyone else were still eating their salads. We were able to enjoy our food, then we were able to visit with all of our guests. I was worried we would go the whole day without eating because that is what I hear from former brides. So this was a big deal to me. I love to eat! Over all, I am so happy we went with this venue. Everything turned out amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better day.
We had our wedding here over a month ago and Rochelle was great at helping us plan our wedding and make sure that everything would go exactly how we wanted (and it did!). The food definitely deserves a 5 star rating- it was amazing. The atmosphere here is so nice and laid back. The staff treated our guests so well. There is tons of parking, AC in the barn, and a beautiful terrace that we used for our cocktail hour. We love love love this place! The only reason I have it 4 stars was because we were bummed that we couldn't bring an outside caterer in and they are limited on your decorations you can use - no tape, nails, etc.
SFGC was the first venue that came to mind when starting the planning process. We highly recommend Rochelle & Lauren for coordination, they take care of everything from the set up of decor, making sure the afternoon/evening runs smoothly through the timeline and vendor relations. My bridal party loved getting pampered in their bridal suite the day of. One thing we would recommend to SFGC would be to have some sort of hang out for the grooms party. Since we didn't have a "first look" it was difficult to coordinate an area for them to stay in while the girls had their photos taken. They ended up hiding a corner of the barn.
Obviously, the big red barn is a staple for SFGC. It was the foundation to our TX/CA country wedding. Our family & friends are still raving over our wedding. Thanks for the memorable day Strawberry Farms!
So happy that I found strawberry farms and their wedding coordinators! They are truly amazing. They make sure your day goes smoothly. I called and emailed them more times then I can count and they never seemed to mind!!
The venue itself is beautiful!! It is a hidden little treasure in Orange County I had never known until a bridesmaid said to check it out!
The food was delicious! Some reviews said food was just ok, but I loved it and many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they have had!
You will not be disappointed if you use strawberry farms! Definitely use their day of coordinator too! Heather, Stacy and Rochelle rock it!!!
I found this potential venue on the Knot. They really did a great job in assisting us during the wedding and reception. Food was great and service was superb. They made our wedding day really special!
we had our ceremony and reception here and it was amazing! i loved working with all the coordinators: stacy, rochelle, and heather. they always responded quickly to my emails and they were very helpful on the day of.
after going to the tasting, we weren't very excited about the food, but the food was surprisingly delicious on the day of and everyone enjoyed it!
i knew i wanted to have a barn wedding.. had such a hard time finding barn venues in socal. strawberry farms is the best one out there!
When I was first looking for wedding venues in Orange County, I was looking for something different and outside the norm. Everywhere else was centered around a beach theme or inside a hotel. I didn't want either of those. I also didn't want any old run-of-the-mill golf course wedding. When I saw that the reception venue at Strawberry Farms was a big red barn, I knew that that was where I was going to have my reception (the ceremony was in a church). Turns out, it is a very popular place, so you have to book early (we booked 1 year in advance and took the last Saturday of the entire summer). I loved the barn (not only because I feel like I'm a country girl at heart), but because it had character and was welcoming and felt "homey." I wanted my guests to feel comfortable. It was also great that the barn doors open so that guests are free to wander inside and outside. The scenery around the barn is also exquisite with rolling hills and a long winding white picket fence driveway with blooming flowers.
We ended up doing the option of adding the day-of wedding coordination service. It was so worth it for us because we didn't want to have to worry about anything on our wedding day other than each other. The 3 ladies that help out were great and answered all of our seemingly endless questions. They respond quickly through email and were easy to get a hold of on the phone. They did a phenomenal job setting up our wedding and coordinating the entire thing (Heather was our main coordinator on the actual wedding day and she was AWESOME). During the reception at sunset we also got to take a golf cart with our photographer to some spots in the hills to get some amazing sunset pictures.
Also the food was so INCREDIBLE. We had a filet mignon for dinner that all of our guests raved about. They told us it was the best wedding food they've every had. I'm very picky about my steak, too, and I thought it was delicious. It was soft, tender, juicy, flavorful, and seemed to want to melt in your mouth. Everyone LOVED the food. People also admitted to "stalking" the servers that tray-passed the southwestern egg rolls.
Also, if you can afford to spend a little extra, ask for the ceiling draping. It added an elegance to the barn that simply blew our guests away. Also, we did cocktail hour in/on the side of the barn rather than on the terrace and it worked out really well (so don't feel like you have to pay extra for the terrace).
Our wedding day was flawless (which was a total surprise to me). The setting was perfect. The coordinators did their jobs exceptionally well. Come here if you want a wedding that people will feel comfortable and relaxed at, but also has a touch of elegance. Hire a great photographer as well and you will not be disappointed in choosing Strawberry Farms.
I loved Strawberry Farms! I liked that the tables, chairs, and table settings were included in the price. The barn was beautiful, lots of room. We had the bbq option for dinner and it was delicious!
my google search for a reception venue started as "orange county barn rustic wedding venue" or something along those lines, and this place was one of the first to come up. the location is very convenient right off the 405 and jeffrey next to tanaka farms. i couldn't ask for a better reception venue perfect in the big red barn under the string lights. the bridal party was able to get ready in the clubhouse conference room, and begin setup in the barn as early as 10 AM. the prime rib and sea bass duet was delicious! best of all, they were able to accommodate our request for a certain type of beer not usually offered on their list. though i did not utilize their day-of coordination, heather and rochelle were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the event and the days leading up to the big day.
We fell in love with the venue. Unfortunately, you have to use their food and alcohol. They don't allow any outside food or alcohol except for desserts. The alcohol selection is very limited and the food selection isn't that great either. I would recommend the sea bass and the southwestern pasta though. Everyone seemed to like that. But the food prices are pretty high for what you get. However, the venue provides all tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, etc for free. The barn where we had the reception has string lights on the wooden beams above and it is very pretty. The green grass and rolling hills where we had the ceremony are very nice. So all in all, I would recommend the venue for the look but I would suggest that they be more willing to increase their menu and bar selections.
Absolutely perfect! I could not have pictured my wedding anywhere else. They did a fabulous job with everything. My husband wanted a country wedding and that's hard to do in the OC, but Strawberry Farms was flawless and helped us with our dream wedding.
OMG... What a amazing venue. The staff was awesome, the food is amazing and Heather did such a fabulous job in making sure my wedding went as planned. I couldn't have asked for anythng more. Loved, loved, loved it. Highly recommend this facility.
My (now) husband and I had never heard of Strawberry Farms before until we found their website online. The pictures on the website looked amazing and so we went to check out the grounds in person. The golf course is beautiful and the big red barn was so unique and wonderful that we knew we had to have our wedding there. Our coordinator, Stacy, was amazing and super helpful. She knew exactly what to do, when we had no clue. Our wedding was amazing, beautiful, and the food was so good - all of our guests told us how much they loved our wedding. Highly recommend this location and highly recommend day of coordination.
Absolutely LOVED Strawberry Farms and their coordinator, Stacy Megill! Everything turned out beautifully and the staff was very helpful the entire time!!
My husband and I recently got married here and it was a perfect day! From the helpful staff to the beautiful setting to the amazing food! I would recommend this place to any bride looking for a venue that is a little unique and very beautiful!
My wedding day was absolutely PERFECT with the help of Heather Howery at Strawberry Farms! She is such an incredibly kind woman and has fantastic experience! Everyone will get along fantastic with her! The venue was perfect, the food and drinks were amazing- not like your typical "wedding food". Not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day!The setting is simply magnificent if you're looking for an outdoor venue for both ceremony and reception! The lush greens provide the perfect backdrop for great photo opps, as well as a serene lake and beautiful meadows and fields. I couldn't be more happier or pleased with the way everything turned out! Strawberry Farms was a job to work with from beginning to end and had so many choices to choose from, from table linens to food. They truly do everything possible to make it your day and all about you! I would recommend this venue a million times to anyone!!
The minute I stepped foot on the grounds of Strawberry Farms I just knew that was where I was going to be married. The venue was perfect! And I loved that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all on site with no travel and little walking (we had many older relatives attending the wedding). The price was extremely reasonable and the food oh so delicious. The best part was the barn where we held the reception. It was just the touch we were looking for - something a little non-traditional, but cozy. The set-up was great! We had the tables organized around the dance floor, a buffet line, and our grand entrance was through the big barn doors, which made for awesome photos. Speaking of photos, we were able to travel to the top of the hills surrounding the golf course to take our pictures - absolutely breathtaking. We had so many photo options, it was great. Since we got married in October, there was also a great pumpkin patch which would provide a great photo op as well for those interested. It was the perfect setting for a perfect day. Thanks Strawberry Farms for making our wedding so memorable!
The food, and the fact that it did not have the typical hotel reception venue feel (our reception was held in a big red barn - walls are finished, but rafters are visible and decorated with white twinkle lights). There are great locations on the golf course for awesome photo backdrops. Also, there was a nice room for the wedding party to hang out in (also is used for bridal party before a ceremony if you are getting married there) during cocktail hour while my husband and I finished our formal pictures before the grand entrance. They provide the linens too, and at no extra charge you can pick from a ton of colors.;The venue still has not installed central air into the barn facility. So if it is a hot day, you need to rent air units from them (which cost us $1200) and if it's a really hot day they do not do a good enough job to cool down the entire space. It happened to be 105 degrees on our wedding day, which is rare for Irvine, so we rented two units, and they helped, but it depends on your comfort level. I do not handle heat well, but I was fine, probably because I was on cloud nine! others were congregating close to where the air units were placed. You can also have a smaller event on their restaurant patio, or rent tents and have it out on the lawn, but again, if it was a hot day, you'll still be hot!
it was a unique site that was different from most others. the food was amazing and heather the coordinator on site was absolutely awesome to work with.
