Studio 9 provided the hair and makeup experience I was looking for for my wedding party on my wedding day. They were easy to work with, professional and talented hairdressers. My wedding party, moms and I went to the salon on Van Dyke Ave on the morning of my wedding. I would definitely recommend Studio 9 for wedding hair and makeup.

I worked with Studio 9 Salon for my wedding hair and makeup, which was recommended by my officiant/planner, Julie. I can see why she recommended them, because they did an amazing job! Although I did not have a wedding party, I have some close friends and family also get their hair and/or makeup done. We had different stylists work with us so that we could finish within our 2-hour appointment slot (we did). Since we had an appointment in the salon, they allowed us to arrive a little early and enjoy some juice and pastries in their room upstairs. I believe I worked with Crystal (my apologies if I am misremembering your name) for my hair and makeup. I did a bridal updo and airbrushed makeup. Crystal was outstanding! I showed her some pictures to reference the type of style I wanted (hair: Bohemian; makeup: natural/romantic), and she did not disappoint. I was so incredibly pleased with both my hair and makeup. The style was exactly what I wanted – even more impressive since I did not do a trial. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on this special day!

Hired for my wedding, absolutely amazing! We had Alicia, Lexi and Kaja on the bus and they did great! Everyone was happy with their services! Highly would recommend!

We used the mobile salon services from Studio 9 to get my bridal party and myself ready on location for our wedding this past weekend and everything went perfectly! Everyone's hair and makeup looked beautiful (including our flower girls!) and they were prompt and super convenient for all of us staying at The Henry hotel. Sam did a great job with my super curly hair, even on such a humid day in August!

This salon is the best for large weddings. I booked in salon at Sterling Heights and they were able to handle my large party within 2 hours. Alicia did my hair and makeup and it turned out beautiful.

I absolutely loved my experience at studio 9 for my wedding makeup and hair! The bridal suite on site is so nice and a perfect place to gather with the bridal party, enjoy mimosas and snacks( they provide!) my hair and makeup were perfect! They lasted the entire night and was exactly what I envisioned! I can’t recommend them enough! They got us in and done within 2 hours! It was so professional!

Everyone was fantastic! My bridal party and I really enjoyed ourselves on the large bus that allowed for all of us to hang out and wait our turns for each service. The ladies were very professional, ahead of schedule and got us all got in a very timely manor. I would recommend spending a little more and going with the larger bus so you have can everyone in one place and enjoy extra time together before the day gets away from you! Mike was also a blast, very nice man that will go above and beyond when needed. Thank you all so much for everything!

Salon Studio 9 was so amazing to work with! Everyone was so kind and professional and answered all of my questions. The bridal bus was 100% worth it! The bus is such a convenient and adds the perfect touch to be pampered on your special day! Sam and Nikki did such an amazing job with mine and my bridal party’s hair! They made us feel so beautiful and comfortable all day long. Truly an amazing experience.

My daughter was recently married and one of the things that stressed her out the most was finding someone for hair and makeup. I saw Studio 9 featured in a TV news story, did some research myself and was intrigues with the mobile unit and I liked the idea of that and not having all that take place in the hotel suites where we were staying for the wedding weekend. My daughter booked a trial with Kristy at Studio 9 and was thrilled with the results so we booked a mobile unit for the day of the wedding. Communication with Studio 9 from the first phone call on was a pleasure. The process was professional and thorough in every way leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding the mobile unit arrived and the schedule for the bride, wedding party, moms and flower girl played out seamlessly. We had Kristy and Shelby that day. They made it fun and relaxing and each person was thrilled with their hair and makeup. Not one disappointed person. The bonus was even with the expense of the mobile unit the total cost for everything was less expensive than other options my daughter had looked into. In all of our planning it was most definitely one of the best decisions we made in hiring vendors.

I used Studio 9 Salon for my wedding and I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the area! I rented the smaller bus to come out to the venue and do a total of 11 girls hair and makeup and they did an amazing job. The bus is so much fun and they had everyone done within 4 hours. They were very flexible with our situation that was a little different and play a huge part in making the day go smoother. Not to mention the hair and makeup was beautiful!!

My bridesmaids and I got our hair done for my wedding day at Studio 9 and I was to the moon with how all of our hair turned out! My stylist was incredible and so sweet and easy to talk to and work with! I had gotten my hair done here last year for my best friends wedding and absolutely LOVED how my hair turned out so I knew I wanted to come here for my own wedding and I'm so glad I did! I originally had another salon booked for my wedding but when plans with them fell through just 2 months before the wedding, I switched to Studio 9 Salon…best decision I made!! Studio 9 was so accommodating with scheduling my trial & created a timeline for the day of to ensure myself & my girls all had hair & make up done in time. Everything was perfect & they made me feel so beautiful for my wedding!

I booked the mobile salon for my wedding day and it was one of the best decisions I made! The bus came right to my wedding venue which made everything so much easier. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to everyone’s needs and made sure everyone felt their best before leaving. Jae did my hair and makeup and completely exceeded my expectations. Everyone’s hair and makeup turned out amazing! My bridesmaids and I had so much fun getting ready together on the bus. I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Studio 9 Salon. I highly recommend to everyone!

Being a bride in 2020 was not easy and Studio 9 helped me postpone my services with the bus twice. I saw the larger, black bus at two bridal shows and wanted that for my day. It is an awesome idea. They were able to park at my venue which made it very easy for my family to get their hair and makeup done. They accomodate however many people you need and I still thank your staff for changing our day of schedule for me so much prior to the day of. My bridesmaids, aunt, mom, and I did practice runs for hair and makeup for my bachelorette party and I was very pleased with my choice to book the bus once we did the trials. We had Alicia, Heather, and Brooklyn and they were incredible. They listened to everything we needed to feel our best and were so easy to talk to. I would forever recommend, 10/10.

Honestly I would recommend studio 9 for all your wedding needs, they made us feel so welcome and the staff was super friendly! Everyone’s hair & makeup looked perfect. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. They always take your wants into consideration and want to make you feel comfortable, I know a couple of my girls don’t usually wear makeup but the educated stylist helped pick the best look for them, they felt pretty but still like themselves ! It was honestly the most relaxing part of the day, I will be going there for all of my special event needs!

Me, as well as my bridal party, LOVED our hair! We were nervous since I booked based off of their site since we lived 3 hours away. They came in early to accommodate us and to get us out by 10:45. We were done WAY before we needed to be, but they didn't rush at all! I also had my make-up done and felt the prettiest I have EVER felt! I loved they had drinks and treats for us too. It was the best. Was very happy with this salon.

Studio 9 Salon was absolutely amazing. I had a large wedding party of 9 girls plus 2 moms, and they were so great with us and got us in and out in a timely manner! It was 1 stylist per girl, so there wasn't any rushing going on. All of the girls were beyond impressed, and looked absolutely stunning! Highly recommend!

Studio 9 Salon rocks!! These guys came out to our sites with the coolest mobile salon and an awesome team of stylist. They were on time (more than I can say for some of our wedding party), professional, fun, creative and quick. They got 13 ladies in and out in about 4 hours. They also feeds us and give us mimosas. They bride was gorgeous and the rest of us did look half bad either. They airbrushed our makeup and it stayed all day. Can't wait to see the professional pictures! Thanks Studio 9 and especially Carly for making Caitlin's special day beautiful!

Call me crazy but getting my hair and makeup done was one of the best parts of my day. It was so nice relaxing with my best friends and letting professionals make us look beautiful! Studio 9 was so fun and accommodating! I took pictures of how I wanted my hair and makeup and made it look perfect! From the makeup & hair to the champagne & conversation, I couldn't have asked for anything to have gone better!

I truly can’t recommend the Studio 9 Salon Bus enough!!! The morning of my wedding the bus pulled up to our hotel and we didn’t have to worry about traveling to a salon. The staff is top-notch and we all looked absolutely beautiful!!! They provided coffee and breakfast pastries too and we had plenty of room to hang out on the bus while the other girls were back in the chairs. The big bus was so worth it and made my wedding morning relaxing and stress-free!

Salon 9 has a beautiful studio. They were very easy to coordinate with throughout the planning process. I personally was not 100% happy with my trial so I was able to talk to my stylist and she has great recommendations on how to fix what I did not like and it turned out amazing the day of. When we got there they had drinks and snacks for everyone. I would recommend them for anyone getting married! (Or even just getting a haircut).

I absolutely loved my hair and makeup! It stayed perfectly throughout the night. They did great with my bridal party and the different types of hair. They did charge some people incorrectly, but we were able to discuss with them to correct it.

Honestly, if you live in the metro Detroit area you shouldn’t get your hair and makeup done anywhere else. My hair turned out incredible thanks to Frankie and so did my makeup. They were able to do 5 girls makeup and hair in under two hours! They understand the schedule of the bride on her busy day. I absolutely loved the salon and would recommend it to every bride. Don’t waste your time at other salons! They are truly the best. I plan on continuing to go to the salon for hair and makeup in the future!

Studio 9 made me and all my girls beautiful for my big day! My hair and makeup by Kerri was so stunning!!! All of my bridesmaids raves a out their looks! Even my mother and mother in-law loved their looks and they are not big makeup or hair people. Excellent choice for a bridal studio!

Not very happy. Took in a picture of what I wanted. Turned out totally different. Was supposed to have layers, they are only on the bottom portion. I leave on vacation Fri. Not sure if I have time to come back. The top is too heavy.

I absolutely loved my hair and makeup for my wedding!! Teri was wonderful to work with and even listened to something I wanted to change for the wedding from the makeup trial. They had so many stylists working that we all were done in about 2 hours for about 9 people! The prices were reasonable as well. I would highly recommend to any bride.

A friend recommended this salon to me after I told them that my daughter in law had been having trouble finding a place to do her hair and makeup for her wedding day. Since we were running out of time before the wedding, we decided to book them. My son and daughter in law live out of state so it was not possible for her to do a trial beforehand. She brought in pictures of what she liked on the morning of the wedding. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to make everyone in the bridal party feel special. Everyones' hair and makeup turned out great, especially my DIL. She did not appear to have a problem with her updo coming apart or her makeup running whatsoever. They did a fantastic job and were reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them for future brides.

I was referred to Studio 9 through a friend. The girls and I got our nails done a day before the wedding here. All techs were great to work with. There were six of us there the day of my wedding for hair and make-up. All of us were done within 2 1/2 hours. The entire staff were professional, friendly and quick to get us taken care of. The salon provided pastries and beverages both days to all of us. Everyone who walked by asked how things were going and were quick to address any issues to ensure we were all happy.

My hair turned out perfect and lasted all night! I got compliments about my makeup all night and even today I am getting told that I looked perfect! I looked better than I have ever looked that day and I am so incredibly happy! Bethany and Lauren did a wonderful job. :)

My make-up arstist was horrible!! i ha dto re-do my makeup along with my mother. i asked fro dramatic and she did not even put eyeliner on me..lol..then my eyelashes were a big glob of glue and looked like crap!! finally i paid 25$ for "eye extensions" and i got fake eye-lashes glued all over my eye...rip off!! i would NOT recommend studio 9 or donna for your make-up!

Based upon my research, this salon offered the best rate for air brush makeup. I was very pleased with my makeup and it stayed until I scrubbed it off. Heather was my stylist and she was fabulous. She really is like an artist creating a hair masterpiece. My hair turned out exactly like I had asked. Hair and makeup cost me $120.00 +tip of course :)
