ception our event went off seamlessly and perfect! Upon our arrival on Wednesday we we were welcomed with a relaxing evening by the fire in the family room. Throughout the weekend the arrival experience for our guest was attentive and friendly. Friday as we set up the room the Summit staff was there for suggestions and help but gave us the room for creativeness to set up our decorations. Emmitt and his staff worked closely with us on the planning, timelines and itinerary. His communications and organization gave us the ability to relax and enjoy our weekend! Throughout the weekend the food was incredible. We had a BBQ for our guest on Friday night, and our favorite foods throughout Cocktail Hour. The Summit delivered delicious quality food everyone was pleased with. We are so happy to have chosen The Summit for our Wedding! We felt like family the moment we walked in until the bittersweet departure.

When we found Summit Lodge we knew it was just what we were looking for – a rustic charm, plenty of rooms for our guests, a large dining room, beautiful views, so many amenities and in our wedding budget. Summit is consistently making upgrades and improvements to the property while maintaining its charm. We loved that Summit is only open to the couple and their wedding guests beginning the Wednesday before the wedding. This allowed us so much time to set up and meet with the staff to work through all details and questions for the wedding day. The staff was beyond helpful from making sure we had drinks and food to helping us hang lights in the reception room. Even with a smaller than typical staff we would never have known, everything was seamless and professional. All of our guests loved having the hot tub, pool, sauna, piano, fire places and outdoor games to enjoy on the property. With rain in the forecast for the day of the wedding Emmett and Angie reassured us that there was a rain backup but not to worry. The staff waited to put our chairs out on the lawn but we were blessed to have only overcast skies with no rain by the time our ceremony began. The staff all communicated with each other so well and knew exactly where to be to make sure everything ran smooth. I cannot thank this entire staff enough for such an incredible wedding weekend. All of our family and friends had such a great time and couldn’t say enough good things about the staff. Emmett, Angie, Bri, Chuck, Dave, Anna, Brooke, Dana – thank you so much!! Highly recommend Summit Lodge whether it’s for a regular stay in Killington or for a special event!

olutely incredible and we can't stop talking about it weeks later! If you're looking for a quintessential Vermont lodge with mountains in the background, greenery and flowers everywhere you look, and a beautiful indoor/outdoor reception filled with a wrap-around bar overlooking the deck and pool, yard games and Irish pub with pool table, this is the venue you need. From the very first visit to the day after our wedding, Emmett and his team were responsive, kind, go-with-the-flow, professional and made our dream wedding come true. The food was also absolutely delicious! Emmett said that we had the biggest wedding the Summit Lodge has seen to date (~190 guests) and we never would have known. His team served all of our needs without a hiccup and we're still getting texts/calls from guests saying how wonderful everyone was! The best part of the night was heading downstairs to O'Dwyer's Pub for the after party where we had late night snacks and shot-skis. Once everyone was over-tired and ready for bed, our guests had a short walk right upstairs to stay in their adorable rooms right there at the Summit Lodge. I could go on and on about this place but you'll have to see it for yourself because pictures do not do it justice! It was the best weekend of our lives and it was all thanks to the Summit Lodge!

could stay together and could feel at home. The Summit provided us with just that. Aside from the venue itself, which feels like it's tucked away in the mountains even though it has fast access to the main road, the lodge has cozy rooms, great yard games, pool, and outdoor area. This does not even touch the staff at the hotel who made our guests and us feel at home. Emmett and Jessica did nothing less than go above and beyond leading up to and on our big day. Planning a wedding can be so much and they just made everything feel effortless - as well as keeping our night flowing and without hiccup. They truly were so great to work with and genuine. All of our guests had nothing but good things to say about their stay, our night and we couldn't stop hearing about the breakfast included! (It was pretty delicious). I'm sure without this place and these people our big day would not have been as special or as memorable as it was. We can't recommend it enough. Thanks so much for everything! Love - The Whites!
