Rhi is truly the best and so passionate about what she does. She was super easy to work with throughout the entire process. Not only are her cakes beautiful, they also taste so good. I'm not usually a cake person, so we tasted around, and hers blew me away. I love the texture of her frosting and the cake is perfection. We gave her creative control with the flavor, and she certainly did not disappoint. Rhi has so many specialty flavors and is willing to accommodate to any of your needs. She made our main wedding cake, and I also requested a smaller gluten free cake for guests, and it looked identical to the main cake. Our main cake was 1/2 carrot cake and 1/2 cannoli. The gluten free cake was vanilla with espresso buttercream. All 3 flavors were so good. She delivered everything on the day of, and it was a seamless process. I will definitely be using her again for all of my cake needs. Rhi, thank you so much for being part of our magical day.

We absolutely loved working with Sweet Rhi for our wedding cake! Rhiannon was nothing but kind and helpful from the start. Such unique flavors and very accommodating with allergies (nuts) which was very important to us. We were able to try several flavors at our in-person tasting, and we were even able to order a few more samples of flavors we didn't get to try. We ultimately landed on two flavors, the spiced apple cake with salted caramel buttercream and the cannoli cake! Both were amazing and the cake design was absolutely gorgeous - exactly as we envisioned. Would highly recommend Sweet Rhi for your wedding day!!

Rhi was absolutely amazing! We live out of state so we were able to set up our cake tasting with no issues! She was extremely accommodating and very professional! Our communication with her was impeccable and she really listened to both of our wants. We ended up doing a traditional wedding cake and a grooms cake and she executed this flawlessly. We loved our desserts from Sweet Rhi! We opted to go with a small cutting cake and three different mini desserts, which was the best decision! Our strawberry cake was so good, we took some slices home on the plane in our carry on! The tiramisu dessert shots were a hit, they were gone so quick! Would definitely recommend.

Rhi made our wedding day extra sweet with our wedding cake, a groom's cake, and mini cupcakes. I thought we ordered way too much, but everything was so good that we only had a few mini cupcakes left at the end of the night (plus the top of our wedding cake). Everything was delicious! Our wedding cake was the traditional wedding flavor, the groom's cake was smores cake, and the mini cupcakes were chocolate and caramel, lemon curd, and holiday spice. Highly recommend! We will post pictures of the cakes and cupcakes once we get them :)

I hate being the person to destroy the 5-star rating, but the cake was the lowlight of our wedding. We ordered a 2-tier strawberry cake with floral decorations… she priced it at a premium… and unfortunately the only negative thing anyone had to say about our wedding was the dry, flavorless cake. We would have been better going to Costco.

Rhiannon is absolutely amazing. The cakes are so fresh and delicious. We chose a strawberry cake as well as a blueberry cake and both were made with fresh ingredients. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious the cake was! The cake design was beautiful as well! Hand pipped flowers with pearl accents and hints of gold shimmer. We told Rhi that our theme was a whimsical garden party and wow did she nail it to a tee! I would HIGHLY recommend Sweet Rhi!

Rhi was AMAZING! She was so incredibly easy to work with and helped us put together the perfect dessert menu for our guests. The cake was delicious and a total hit! We also had a bunch of mini desserts - the mini cheesecakes and key lime pie tarts are fantastic, and we highly recommend ordering the cake pops....they are INCREDIBLE!!!!

Rhi did the cake and cupcakes for our 2/25/23 wedding and we were very happy. She was very quick to respond, and professional throughout and her cakes are yummy. When i went for my tasting she was very helpful as we discussed tier sizes/servings, etc. and came up with a a choice of flavors and options. She was also very patient with me as our wedding date neared and I made some changes based on our final guest count. Our cake was delivered on time and was beautiful and tasty!

Rhi was a breeze to work with from start to finish- her professionalism and previous work made it so easy to trust her. She made a PERFECT grooms cake exactly as requested and the wedding cake…. Speechless. It was stunning. More than I could have asked for. She takes her job seriously and understands how important timeless is as well. Just everything - BOOK HER!!!

Rhi lives up to her establishments name. Everything related to this vendor was SWEET. She was incredibly responsive and reassuring. She made sure to stick with my budget which I greatly appreciated. In lieu of a cake we have a fun dessert table. WHAT A HIT! I watched my guests snack on them the whole night. I will say I was so touched when I found a little box "for the bride and groom" with our own little stash. I look forward to using her services in the future. Sweet Rhi for the wedding dessert win!

Rhi was so amazing for our daughters wedding! We went for our cake tasting and we had a hard time deciding which flavors for her wedding cake as they were all delicious! Rhi was so pleasant to work with. She snd her husband were so prompt arriving at the venue to set up the cake snd even offered to set out our Greek pastries as well! All our guests raved about the cake, all 3 flavors! Since my husband and I didn’t get to try the cake that might, the staff at the Harbour Club packed us up the last few pieces for us to take home, which we are the next day! We would definitely highly recommend Sweet Rhi for any special event!

Rhi made my wedding cake, and it was absolutely perfect. When I saw her cakes on Instagram, I just had to meet her! Working with Rhi was a dream—she’s easy to work with and wants to make your day to be special from the first moments of the tasting all the way to your wedding day when has your top tier perfectly boxed up for you. She also understands very well that the numbers of people attending your wedding may change and is so understanding when it comes to adjusting the size of the cake as well as costs. Honestly - look no further! We truly could not recommend Sweet Rhi more! Our cake came out absolutely stunning and was exactly how I imagined it would be! Our cake was so delicious that my husband has been begging me to eat our saved layer for our one month anniversary instead of our one year! Rhi was such a pleasure to work with and made our vision of having a simple cake with florals come true. The tasting was so much fun and left the design up to her and she did not disappoint! We will definitely be using Sweet Rhi for future events and holidays - last year we had her pumpkin pie for thanksgiving dessert and we are so excited to get another one this year!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Rhi!! For our wedding in April she created an entire dessert table with everything from cupcakes, to tiramisu, beignets and a 3 tier cake. Everything tasted superb, and she made the process so smooth and easy - especially since we weren’t local and only had one shot to get our tasting done. Even though we weren’t able to try everything, it far exceeded our hopes and dreams. We cannot wait until our anniversary to have our wedding cake again!!

Sweet Rhi's creations were so delicious. When we did our tasting the different cupcakes were all so good that it made it hard to decide on flavors. We ended up doing 3 flavors of mini cupcakes (chocolate, fresh strawberry, and lemon chiffon) and a small red velvet cake for us to cut. Everyone loved all of the flavors and loved the ideas of the smaller desserts so they could eat more than one if they wanted to try more flavors. I would definitely recommend Sweet Rhi!

Rhi was so amazing to work for our wedding! I’m not a huge sweets person, but I had trouble picking a flavor for our wedding cake because everything we tried at our tasting was so delicious! We ended up picking three different flavors because we couldn’t decide. She also helped us with our cake design and was professional and timely throughout the whole process. Our cake was amazing! From the look to the flavor, we were impressed. Rhi made sure that our cake would survive the southern humidity since our wedding and reception were outdoors. The box they provided us to take the remaining cake home was very handy and allowed us to enjoy more the next day (for our breakfast). Rhi was very easy to work with and I felt at ease knowing the cake would arrive and look amazing, one less thing I had to worry about! Rhiannon of Sweet Rhi did such a great job with our cake and desserts for our wedding! All of the bite sized desserts were raved about by our guests (the brownies especially were a crowd pleaser). She did such a great job setting these up to look so great and even packed up and had ready to go cake to save for our anniversary! I completely spaced initially on remembering to return the cake stands we rented from her and she was so understanding and accommodating.

Working with Rhi was a dream! She made the whole process very easy. We needed help figuring out flavors, cake design, & dessert choices, & she sweetly guided us through it all! The end result was an absolutely beautiful cake designed perfectly for our rustic theme. it was a birch tree-look, & she even put our initials on it in a heart that made it look like it was "carved" into the tree....that was my favorite part of the design..so cute!! The flavors were just delicious, & our guests must've loved the cake as well as the desserts, because there was no cake left & only a few desserts...lol! She gave us a deal on pricing too. I cannot say enough good things about Rhi & her work. You can't go wrong with her! I will be going back to her for any needs in the future!

Phenomenal wedding cake! Sweet Rhi made us a gorgeous three tier cake, each a different and delicious flavor tier. We had a banana pudding flavored layer that had everyone amazed that cake could taste exactly like real banana pudding. We also had a delightful Royal-Wedding with blueberries tier , and a Red Velvet tier, which delighted everyone. The cake was a true visual masterpiece and we were saddened to cut into it, until we tasted it…can’t have your cake & eat it too. It was so delicious, that most people tried a slice of each tier, because everyone was raving over it.

We had an amazing experience working with Rhi! She and her team were very flexible and supportive, working with us for over 2 years across a few rescheduled dates during the pandemic. Our guests raved about the cupcakes (vegan and gluten-free!) and our cake was delicious. 10/10 recommend!

We are so proud to have Sweet Rhi bake my wedding cake. Not only is Rhiannon my cousin, she’s sweet, extremely kind and a creative and talented baker. She’s a professional in her field. She offered to bake my wedding cake right away when I got engaged and if that wasn’t enough, she sliced and plated it the day of my wedding. We’re in our 60s, and had a small intimate wedding and our 2 tier cake was just perfect. When she asked me what design and colors on the cake I wanted, I was clueless. She helped me and I knew I could trust her expertise to decide for me. She created a beautiful and delicious cake that we loved. I highly recommend Sweet Rhi for any occasion, and not because she’s part of my family.

Rhiannon is an experienced professional with a kind disposition. She is a very busy individual, but she squeezed us in despite having several other weddings our same weekend. She was also very accommodating when it came to scheduling our tasting with short notice when we came in from out of state to tour our venue. When we went for our tasting, all the cakes were so delicious we had a tough time choosing flavors! She also gave us a sample of macarons during the tasting that were very yummy. She was flexible when I made a few changes to my thoughts on design and added a cake topper just a month out from the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the cake looked lovely and our guests were commenting on how beautiful and tasty the cake was. I would definitely recommend having Rhiannon provide cake and/or other desserts for your wedding and/or other special events.

When we were looking for someone to help with everything sweet for our wedding in Charleston, Sweet Rhi came highly recommended and now we know why. She is so amazing to work with, especially since I was overseas and my fiance was the one meeting all the vendors and attending the tasting. She was so gracious to let me join every meeting virtually and worked around the different time zones and even described the flavours and designs in the best possible way so I could understand through the screen! Rhi made our wedding cake with just a description of what we were looking for and a few inspiration pictures and it came out beautifully! She even made over 350 pieces of dessert for the reception and not a piece was left behind! The guests commended the quality and beauty and consistency of every piece of dessert! Everything she makes is delicious and beautiful and I dont think I could pick a favorite from her array of beautiful creations!

"Sweet Rhi" is aptly named, as Rhiannon is super kind, down-to-earth, and wonderful to work with! She came highly recommended; when I told our venue's coordinator about the bakery we chose, she instantly commented, "Oh, we love her! She's here almost every weekend for a wedding!" Everyone else we spoke to said she's the best! As I am from out-of-town, I had to correspond a lot over email. Rhiannon was super responsive and worked with us to set up a time in April 2021 to do a tasting. Thank goodness we did a tasting, as we only got a bite of our wedding cake!! Everything she makes is absolutely delicious! We ordered 3 dozen cupcakes and 2 dozen mini apple pies as desserts for the reception. I had asked if we had potentially ordered too much for our guest count, but it just so happens only THREE cupcakes were left at the end of the night!! Our guests raved about how delicious everything was and how gorgeous our cake looked!! I knew I'd have nothing to worry about, as Rhiannon is extremely professional! She even worked with us on a last minute change! We had guests with a variety of allergies, and she was able to accommodate us so that every guest could enjoy one item. (We had vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and citrus-free items!) I can't recommend her enough! Please consider booking her for your wedding/event!! Rhiannon, thank you SO much!

Choosing Sweet Rhi for our Wedding and Groom's cake was the BEST decision I made when planning our wedding. Once we agreed the wedding would be in Charleston, there was only one cake artist I wanted and that was Rhi and boy was I right! Not only were the cakes unbelievably delicious and beautiful, Rhi was and continues to be WONDERFUL. Planning a destination wedding can be challenging at best, not having on-the-ground resources and etc, but having Rhi as a beloved partner made everything so much easier. From our early correspondence to our tasting to our follow-up conversations and ultimately our wedding weekend, Rhi was so supportive and so helpful, honestly, I don't think the wedding would have happened without her...or at least it definitely wouldn't have been as delicious! Not only did Rhi make us the most delicious wedding cake, she made my bourbon-loving husband's dreams come true with his King Kong accented burbon cake and she made sure each of our guests had sweet dreams to take with them thanks to the delicious Charleston Rainbow Row cookies that we put in each of our welcome bags. Truly I can't gush enough about how special Rhi is (and her husband) and how special she made our visits to Charleston and our wedding weekend and I'm so happy to now call her our friend. And again, her cakes are DELICIOUS! All of our guests still talk about them and I cannot wait until our 1st anniversary so I can enjoy the top layer of the cake that Rhi sent us home with (if he's lucky I'll even give my husband a taste...only a taste). If you're planning a wedding in Charleston or any of the surrounding areas, do yourself the best favor ever and partner with Rhi!

Not only did Rhi make our wedding cake, she is our cake baker for life! She was so flexible with COVID--our initial cake tasting were little cupcakes we took home to sample. We had two weddings: the signing then the ceremony later; she made both cakes. We did her tiramisu cake for no1 and the classic strawberry and buttercream for no2 and both were stunning. The design and decoration is beautiful, and she made a little birthday cake for my husband's sister whose birthday was on our wedding--it did not make it home! We look forward to using Sweet Rhi for all our cake and cupcake celebrations!

Rhi was great to work with & made the most amazing cake & cupcakes for our reception. From the initial tasting which was so much fun to picking out our cupcake flavors. She set up everything during the reception exactly as I had hoped and it looked so great. She even went above and beyond and created a little care package for my husband and I since we didn’t get a chance to eat the cupcakes at our wedding. Our taste testing was such a difficult decision as we loved so many flavors, royal wedding cake, fresh strawberry, key lime pie! We couldn't pick just one and Rhi did not make us choose, each layer of our cake had a different flavor. Our guests raved about the cake and all the different flavors they got. We had our cake topper saved with the intent of eating it on our 1 year anniversary. Wellll, when we got home, we loved the cake so much, we ate it right there and finished it up. I’ve continuously bragged on all of my wedding vendors for pulling together my dream wedding, and Rhi was a major contributor in that! From our tasting to our wedding day, she was super responsive and eager to help me plan out both our wedding cake and the groomsmen cake we ordered! The flavors were absolutely delicious and she was so flexible when it came to designing the cakes, which I changed up at least 6 times- she was even gracious enough to update our wedding cake flavor the week of the wedding! My (now) husband said the first thing he noticed on our wedding day was the cake and how beautiful it was. Sweet Rhi was so amazing to work with on our wedding cake! First off, the tasting experience was so neat and she took my love of chocolate and provided us different flavors to try. We ended up choosing 3 different flavors for each tier. The second reason we loved working with Rhi is because she took my picture inspiration and crafted a beautiful vision of what I wanted. About a month out, I had a design change for one of the tiers in mind and she was fully supportive and confident that the final version would be consistent and fit with the theme. And she was right -- our cake was beautiful and one of the main focal points of the night.
