Sweet Weddings was amazing!! Arlene was very responsive and really paid attention to all of the details we wanted! I saw her beautiful cake pops on her website and asked her to make the groom/bride cake pops for us. They were a huge hit! And not only were they beautiful but they were SO yummy. The cake was also delicious and she made beautiful burgundy sugar roses to match our wedding colors. Thank you Arlene for making our day so special and we highly recommend Sweet Weddings for your wedding day!

We cannot thank Arlene and Sweet Weddings enough for making our wedding cakes! From the moment we had our tasting my husband and I knew it was going to be awesome. We had 5 different cakes and each one of them were delicious. I had a vision for the main cake and Arlene made that vision a reality! She is extremely accommodating and easy to work with! I will always get my cakes at Sweet Wedding from here on out!

Sweet Weddings was recommended to us by our wedding planner. From start to finish, Arlene was amazing to work with and made great recommendations. The end result looked amazing. Our only regret was that we didn’t listen to Arlene and order more, since many of our guests were disappointed they couldn’t grab seconds (or thirds). The key lime shooters and cake pops, in particular, were a huge hit! Highly recommended.

Sweet Weddings was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. We are extremely grateful because we easily picked Arlene over any other baker in the area. She was very friendly, flexible, and ensured our vision came to life. The tasting experience was intimate and personalized. The cakes and frostings were presented individually so that you could mix and match flavors in any combination you wanted. The cake was just as delicious at that wedding as it was at the tasting. Our guests raved about the cake and how great it was. In addition, the cake was stunning and served as a center piece for our reception. We would highly recommend Arlene to anybody looking for a great baker for their wedding!

Arlene is incredible. Couldn't have asked for better. The tasting with her was the highlight of our wedding planning and the cake day of did not disappoint. The cake was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. We did not have much left over after the ceremony as our guests kept going back for more. Additionally, definitely stop by her new store next to the bakery as the food there was excellent as well.

The reviews for this vendor are great and I was looking so forward to using her. I reached out to Arlene to start the process and quickly received a quote for her starting price and her request for the design that I had in mind. No problem, we have an open budget and are open to several styles, hoping to leave the creativity to her based on the reviews. I replied immediately and attached photos. And then....crickets.....I heard nothing back. Sent another email a few days later just to follow up and still nothing. Now I am skeptical about the level of service and sadly, I will look elsewhere to have my cake made.

Arlene treated us like family from the moment we met her for our initial wedding consultation!! Her attention to detail is unlike any other dessert vendor in town. We had a couple tastings with her because she wanted to make sure the flavors were perfect and they absolutely were!! All my guests were obsessed with the dessert. Arlene-we love you and we'll be back for our 1 year anniversary cake!!

Arlene was so great to work with. We had a blast at our tasting and honestly we’re not sure what we wanted to do as far as cake design. She went through some pictures of cakes she’s done in the past and took some of our ideas to create the most beautiful cake. Not only did the dessert table look amazing but it tasted even better! 10/10 recommend

Where do I start!! Arlene is the sweetest most AMAZING person to work with. From the initial meeting to the tasting to the wedding she is always there for you. Do not question if you need to hire her - JUST DO IT. The sad part now that our wedding is over is that we won't be working with her anymore. Her cake, cupcake, shooters and cake pops were a hit at our wedding. Thank you SO much to Arlene and her team.

Arlene was SO fun to work with (you'll know what I mean if you meet with her!) and the cake was so delicious! They had many unique flavors to offer (like one of our tiers was orange flavored which was so FL and super delicious) and so many fillings to choose from! Not only was it beautiful but everyone talked about how delicious it was, too!

Right after cutting the cake and giving each other a bite, my next words were "Wow, this is REALLY good!". Arlene has a good variety of flavors and fillings, and we were able to mix and match our tiers so we could have several options. She responds super quick to emails and was happy to answer all of our questions. We went with a smaller cake since we had other desserts, and my only regret is not getting a bigger one so I could take more home!

We loved everything about our cake and about Arlene! We had to postpone a whole year and she was very flexible. When we finally got to do the cake tasting it was so hard to pick because everything was amazing! We went with the white cake & lemon icing and Carrot cake with brown sugar icing. SO DELICIOUS. Not to mention MY CAKE! It was built for a princess. It was everything I wanted and more! Couldn't be happier

Arlene at Sweet Weddings is a true artist. Our gorgeous three-tiered wedding cake was absolutely perfect, she truly brought our vision to life and the taste was out of this world amazing. Arlene can make any cake take absolutely incredible; her wonderful flavor combinations are heavenly! Not only did Arlene create our wedding cake, she made my husband’s groom cake which made us speechless! We asked for a Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirt cake with aviator sunglasses, and Arlene delivered - our guests actually thought it was a real shirt! Arlene also created decadent dessert shooters which our guests loved. I highly recommend Arlene for any bakery needs; we will definitely be a returning customer for more delicious desserts in the future!

These cakes were the talk of the wedding! So delicious. We did multiple flavors and multiple cakes (too many good flavors to pass up!) and they were just gorgeous and delicious. She even added a sweet touch for us. Arlene is a pleasure to work with too! I got so many compliments about how freaking delicious these cakes were. We also ordered a lot of cake and had tons left over, and a week latter it was still just as delicious as the day of.

We had the best experience working with Arlene for our wedding cake. She is the sweetest! We had to postpone our wedding twice, due to COVID and Arlene was so easy to work with. Our cake tasting was so much fun. You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors, but the key lime filling is AMAZING! Our cake looked exactly as we imagined and each flavor was delicious! I might be biased, since it was my wedding, but that was the best wedding cake I have had. Some guests told us they had each flavor! We cannot speak higher of Sweet Weddings!

My husband and I loved our experience working with Sweet Weddings. It was so much fun working with Arlene throughout the process. She was easy to communicate with and so helpful when helping us choose our cake and filling combinations at our tasting. Our wedding cake was stunning, and multiple guests commented on how beautiful and delicious it was!

Thank you so much Arlene at Sweet Weddings for absolutely blowing our minds with our wedding cake and dessert display on 11/13/2020. There are not words to express how beautiful and delicious everything was- and do not even get me started on our tasting!! For our tasting, she literally let us try every type of cake, frosting, and filling she offers. We ended up with a three-tier cake, each with different flavors, as well as two different types of cupcakes, cannoli’s, cookies, tiramisu, and this great pina colada layered dessert. Why so many desserts, you ask? Because we wanted ALL of it, that is how delicious everything was. We gave her a budget and she went to town for us!! And then, on the wedding day to see the gorgeous display she put on with all of her unique and pretty serving platters, candy dishes—she even worked with our Florist and Decorator to give one full and cohesive vision on the day of. Thank you thank you Arlene!!!! It was perfect and you were a big part of that! The cake was stunning and everyone ate it!!

Arlene is amazing! We had such a great process with her from the beginning. She brought our design to life and the grooms cake she made us was complete perfection! Everyone at our wedding raved about how delicious the cake and dessert shooters were. Highly recommend Arlene for any and all events!!

Arlene is a true artist. She created the most beautiful tiered cake with burgundy marble fondant and gold flakes (still daydreaming about it). And the inside was red velvet, our guests were shocked and loved it! We also asked for additional sweets like cake pops and dessert shooters. Everything was a huge hit with our guests, and of course, us! We're just sad we didn't get to see her that night to thank her in person.

Arlene and her cakes are the sweetest! My mom, sister and I went to the cake tasting and knew instantly that she was the right choice. There were so many delicious items to chose from and she was the nicest! By the end of our tasting she felt like another member of the family! The cake at the wedding was delicious and beautiful. It was just like I hoped it would be.

Arlene is an artist with cakes. She made a Beautiful Birthday cake for the rehearsal dinner the Wedding Cake and the Groom's cake. Each was very different from the other. All were not only unique, beautiful and pieces of art but also delicious! She took the stress out of planning and came up with gorgeous designs. I think everyone took pictures of the cakes! Oh my goodness we absolutely LOVE Arlene, she is the sweetest! The cake tasting was the best with all of the flavors you could ever want. She was very responsive to emails, it's better to email her than call, she is a one women show with help from her husband so it's hard for her to bake cakes and answer the phone. :) We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding she was very understanding and was able to reschedule for our new wedding date with no problem. Arlene even checked in with me a few times during the re-planning of our wedding to see how I was doing and cheer me up. The cake/dessert table for our wedding was absolutely stunning and everything was soo tasty it was beyond what I had imaged and hoped for! We seriously couldn't have asked for a better cake designer and can't wait to get our cake for our one year anniversary. <3

Arlene is absolutely amazing!! We had so much fun working with from beginning to end. We were impressed with the cake tasting - she had several different filling flavors and probably 20 or so frosting flavors so we could combine to see what we liked. We told what we liked and what we were going for and she was able to guide us. My husband wanted churros so she suggested we mix the brown sugar icing with the carrot cake - it tasted exactly like a churro and was delicious! We did several different flavors and she was very accommodating. All of her mini desserts were fabulous as well. Then about two months after our wedding, Arelene went above and beyond and assisted me was a last minute, unplanned wedding. I contacted Arlene a week prior to the event asking for a small cake for this as I thought it would be special for them. She made a beautiful cake and even delivered it for me after telling her I would be pick it up! Thank you so much! We look forward to working with you again PS her banana bread cake is AMAZING!

We love Arlene! Her cakes tasted so great and they way they look are even better! She was very responsive to emails and phone calls. Even with our date being postponed she worked with us and moved things around. She brought our vision to life. We even brought the remainder of our cake to our job and everyone their loved every bite. The orange cake with fudge icing came in for the win. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with this company as others did. They never answered their phone, nor return calls after leaving voicemails, and they lacked in communicating promptly through emails. I often felt I had to constantly follow up with initial emails due to lack of response.

We ordered two cakes for our wedding, a bridal cake and a groom’s cake in the shape of drums. The cakes were both absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like what we were looking for. They were also delicious! I can’t wait for our one year anniversary so that we can taste them again! Arlene was so nice to work with. She is extremely talented!

Arlene is absolutely amazing!!! She is so sweet and her desserts and cakes are to die for, so delicious. My wedding cake was everything I dreamed of and more, the details were unbelievable!! She came up with a design after getting to know personality and I was SO in love. She also came up with a huge variety of mini desserts and had them displayed so gorgeously. She's the best of the best!

We went with Sweet weddings for our wedding cake a couple weeks ago. I was so impressed with Arlene at our cake tasting which was delicious! It helped us decide on a two tier cake of chocolate with coconut filling, as well as carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and vanilla cupcakes with key lime filling. Then of course we had to do her famous chocolate cake pops! We got so many compliments on how delicious everything was! And we had a bit left over but the next day it was all gone after having a family dinner where the leftover cupcakes were the hit of the dinner! Thank you Arlene for making our cakes so wonderful!

Our cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! She was able to make the cake smaller with no complaints since we had fewer guests attending the wedding. She even reduced the price. She was very easy to get in contact with and returned emails promptly.

First of all, due to extreme family emergencies - I had to cancel/reschedule our tasting with Arlene like 5 times. Not ONCE did she complain, and made me feel so comfortable knowing we still had enough time to do it all! We met Arlene for a tasting in her cute little shop with 2 weeks until the wedding day - she made us feel like family, not to mention her cakes TASTE AMAZING! She actually down-sold (not sure if that's a word!) us into getting a smaller cake. She truly gives you your vision without money signs standing in her way. She loves what she does, and I'd recommend using her 100%!

With little information, Arlene and her team created the most incredible cake that was beyond what I could imagine! Our design was simplistic but she nailed it and almost brought me to tears once I saw it! The guests couldn’t stop talking about how tasty it was!! Highly recommend allowing Arlene to create your wedding cake vision!

Arlene is the sweetest woman ever, it is fitting they are called “Sweet Weddings” Arlene was easy and quick to communicate with, even from a distance. She held our cake topper for us over several months and most importantly the cake was to die for and beautiful!!! She even put two little cupcakes in for us to enjoy on our wedding night/the next day. So thoughtful and kind. Hire Arlene for your special day!

Arlene is amazing and the sweetest person you will ever meet! She helped us with the desserts for our wedding and the process was easier than I expected, especially planning our wedding from afar. Our dessert table at our wedding was everything we wanted and more. THE BEST desserts we have ever had!

We fell in love with Sweet Weddings's desserts at our tasting at the White Room. Arlene at Sweet Weddings knocked our wedding desserts out of the park. We had a small wedding cake made for cutting and the rest of the dessert table was cupcakes and cake pops. They were INCREDIBLE. There was a variety of flavors, they were decorated and presented beautifully, and she was easy to communicate with. She accommodated our requests and incorporated our theme into the decoration of the desserts so that it fit right in. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the cake pops were. Thank you, Arlene!

The cake tasting was indeed one of the most fun parts of the wedding-planning, for sure! Delicious, and we couldn't finish all the samples. Our cake turned out amazing -- a geode cake design in a dark blue color, and I couldn't be happier with how it looked. I can't wait to eat the entire top layer on our first anniversary :D Easy peasy day-of set up, I didn't have to think about a thing, as the cake and cupcakes were delivered, set up, and ready to go prior to the ceremony. We even were able to get "to go" containers in our wedding colors from Arlene as well. My review is 4 stars instead of 5 just because we had a communication issue where we sent in our payment information via email, and somehow it wasn't received, so months went by before we got in touch again and realized we were never put down for our date/confirmed!! Could have been a disaster had I waited until like a week before the wedding day to re-connect, but luckily we caught it like 1-3 months ahead of time.

Arlene did our wedding cakes a couple of weeks ago and not only were they exactly what we wanted and so beautiful but they tasted beyond delicious! Arlene is the sweetest to work with and brings wonderful ideas to the table. I will be using Sweet Wedding Cakes for any event I have moving forward. She is the best of the best!

I loved working with Arlene! She was incredible in every aspect. Quick to respond, flexible, helpful. Our cake was SO delicious. I'd had so many bride friends tell me how much cake was leftover after their big day, we had barely any left (and were greedy and kept the little we did have to eat after)! Arlene was phenomenal to work with. Even with a fairly strict budget, she and her team were able to pull off a highly personalized "stack of records" cake for us as well as some additional delicious sheet cakes and even a beautiful birthday cake for a friend celebrating his birthday the same day as the wedding. Arlene is as sweet as the cakes she bakes! From the initial cake tasting she was extremely helpful and enthusiastic, helping us try playful flavor combinations, one of which we chose for our largest tier. Delicious cake and beautiful decorations that fit perfectly with our theme! Can't thank Arlene enough!

Arlene was the sweetest person ever! My daughter and I came in to sample her cakes and she treated us like we were family. The day of the wedding she had both the grooms cake and wedding cake perfectly set up. Not only did the cakes look good, they tasted amazing!! I will use her for future cake needs without a doubt! Cake was delicious!

We wanted a 2 tiered cake and assorted cupcakes for our wedding day. We live about 3 hours away and were unable to come in for a tasting, however, Arlene prepared a cupcake to-go tasting that we could just pick-up and take home with us after one of our visits to our venue, which I thought was a great idea. We couldn't wait to get home to try them and when we did, they did not disappoint. It was so hard to pick our favorite flavors because all of them tasted so good! We wanted our cake to be simply decorated so I sent Arlene a picture of what we were thinking and I was so excited to see it on our big day. The cake, cupcakes, and display were beautiful and tasted amazing.

Sweet Weddings did a fabulous job for our wedding! They made all our cupcakes and cake, and delivered it all and set it up, which was a great help! Prices are also reasonable, and they don’t charge you left and right for every little thing; what you will pay is very straightforward. For example, we had cupcakes and a small one-tiered cake for myself and the groom to cut. At Sweet Weddings they do different flavored cake with different fillings for their cupcakes. I asked how many flavors we could have and would it change the pricing at all... I was told we could have as many flavors as we wanted without any change to price! They charge per cupcake, period. We had 8 different flavors of cupcakes, and our guests loved them! The red velvet cake she did for us was also incredible! On top of being a fabulous baker, Arlene was just one of the most pleasant people to work with. You can tell she loves what she does! She was great about responding to emails and answering all of my questions. Lastly, she does have a couple gluten free offerings. I would highly recommend working with Sweet Weddings.

Arlene is fabulous to work with. Not only are her creations one of a kind, but they taste amazing. This is the best tasting cake and filling we ever had. We could not decide on one flavor so we picked three different cakes (carrot, vanilla and chocolate) for our layers and three amazing fillings( coconut cream, mocha and cream cheese). I’m wanting to take the entire cake home instead of sharing! Just amazing! Beautiful and delicious! Our wedding is 26-days away and I’m looking forward to seeing and eating this cake lol!

The cake for my daughter was beautiful and absolutely the best tasting cake I have ever eaten at a wedding.

Arlene is so friendly and understood our vision from the beginning. She immediately set into motion and created masterpieces for our wedding cakes. Her work was so great that the groom's cake that was a cheese wheel fooled everyone at the reception and they thought it was real cheese! The bride's cake was a recreation of something found on pintrest and she created it better than the original. The flavors were amazing and I've never seen so much cake eaten at a wedding, no left overs! We couldn't have asked for anymore from her and her team!

So very happy we decided to book with Sweet Weddings for our wedding at The White Room. Arlene was such a delight to work with, she's super bubbly and has a passion for cakes! She put together a table scape that by far exceeded our expectations. We chose 3 smaller cakes and 3 mini desserts; lemon bars, cannolis, and italian cookies which not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious! Our guests raved about our dessert display! @sweetweddingscakedesigns in St. Augustine, FL is the most magical bakery ever to have on our special day at @treasuryontheplaza in St. Augustine! We instantly fell in love with Arlene and enjoyed our cake tasting so much! She is so warm and welcoming and wanted us to try everything to be sure of what we wanted. I was armed with a Pinterest pic of a wedding cake we desperately wanted- Sweet Weddings nailed it! Absolutely gorgeous!!! Best part was it tasted as amazing as it looked! Our wedding guests were in awe! Our event planner, Karen Erwin of St. Augustine Weddings & Events, has a fabulous relationship with the Sweet Weddings who all work so well together.
