Their unique designs, attention to detail, care, and understanding throughout the entire process separate them from the rest. It was by far one of the biggest highlights of planning our wedding 💗. Britt and her team are amazing. The entire process is very seamless and it is so clear how much they care about each individual invitation. Everyone you speak with is polite and invests their time to make sure you are getting exactly what you like. Swell press’s creativity is unmatched and they are constantly coming out with new unique designs to make your invitations feel like your own. After an unfortunate situation with another company, Britt took over and brought our vision to life by showing up the most stunningly creative ideas for all of our weekend of pieces. Britt is quite literally the most innovative, creative and intuitive designer. After a consultation, she delivered the most thoughtful and beautiful design options and we have never felt more heard or understood as clients. I used Swell Press for my wedding invitations, and I can say without any hesitation, USE THEM! Not only was I blown away with my semi-custom invitations, but I have gotten so many compliments from my wedding guests about them. They worked with me and my very distinct tastes and created an absolute masterpiece! I have used Britt for a few projects now, for multiple invitations, stationery, and letterpress needs, and there is a reason everyone goes to her! Britt and her team are the best in the business. Her eye is incredible, she creates ACTUAL magic from my very basic ideas, and is incredibly transparent when it comes to what is possible and how the overall vision will come to life. I recommend her to every single client who needs invitations and other wedding day paper goods. Swell press is the best investment you'll make to set the tone for your wedding or special event!

We used Swell Press for our save the dates and our invites. For our save the dates, they were relatively easy to work with, though they had contracted out the work to another letterpresser. She was great, though, and understood our vision and was able to deliver a semi-custom design relatively quickly. Our invites were a disaster. First, we shared a vision and that vision was taken super literally (bright colors, pinks, greens, match the save the dates) and the proofs were literally embarrassing to look at, to the point that I was shocked that anyone who had more than 1 month of experience in this space would share a proof that looked like that. When we understood that they needed literal instructions (make this, this shape; make this, this color) - which, by the way, we were paying thousands of dollars to essentially do the same thing we could have done on Minted - we finally got to a place that I was semi-happy with though maybe I was still delusional paying $2K+ for 100 invites. Despite using the exact same colors as our save the dates, when our invites came, they were NOT metallic colors though anyone with a brain would have asked "do you mean metallic" when you say "gold and silver" colors. I don't know if they've taken on too many projects this year but I am so disappointed in the work they've done and can't recommend enough to STAY. AWAY. from SwellPress. Save the heartache and find another letterpress company who will actually review their work...or just go with Minted, for the love of god. This was the most disappointing experience we had during the planning of our wedding, hands down.

I truly had the best experience with the Swell Press Team and love my wedding invitations SO much! Britt and Caroline were quick to respond, kind, helpful and willing to work within limitations of me being an International client. We unfortunately weren't able to use them because our wedding was postponed due to COVID .. they were so supportive during the whole process and helped design a digital invite instead. OHMYGOSH I can not recommend Brit and her staff enough. She brought our invitation dreams to life! We had a smaller budget than probably most of her clients but she was still able to work with us to provide us a stunning final product. We had so many compliments on our invites.

The best decision I made throughout my wedding planning process was choosing Swell Press for all of my paper goods. The moment I got engaged I knew I wanted Swell to design my invitations, as I had been in awe of their gorgeous designs for a long time. Turns out, there's truly no better company to work with, thanks to the fabulous women of Swell who make it all possible. I worked with Swell's owner, Britt, and her team (Caroline and Kate) for more than a year to brainstorm, design, revise, and execute save the dates, a wedding suite, day-of menus and favor tags. Each element was absolutely stunning and the final products far exceeded my wildest expectations. Looking back, no matter how stressful or frustrating wedding planning proved to be, Britt and her team were always available and optimistic. Britt's patience and creativity were reliably endless, and she not only redefines professionalism, but sets the bar for what small businesses should strive to achieve. If you're looking for truly special, custom invitation, I cannot recommend Swell Press and her wonderful team highly enough.

Britt and her team were absolutely amazing. She worked with me and my mom to create a custom design that went through multiple iterations. The final product is exactly what I wanted! She and Caroline were always quick to respond with a positive and professional attitude. Britt also found me an amazing calligrapher when my original person fell through last minute. Britt is extremely talented and made my dream wedding invitations!! She is so creative and provided such great input and a variety of options, layouts and designs. I had a very specific vision, and she worked very closely with me to design our wedding invitations and inserts, rehearsal dinner invitations, welcome party invitations, programs, welcome tote bags and welcome bag notes. She is a true artist and her work is of the highest caliber. We were in a bit of a rush, but as a writer and artist, I really wanted our paper items to reflect our personalities and the themes of the wedding weekend. Britt got that right of the bat and helped me fine-tune our ideas into a cohesive suite. She went above and beyond by reaching out to an artist whose work I had highlighted on my Pinterest inspiration board. Britt was able to get the artist to grant us rights to use her work for our envelope liners on our invitations. Britt’s letterpress talents are impressive, and we loved how she incorporated a spectrum of ombre colors to match our theme. My personal favorite was her idea to blind-emboss constellations in the background of our invitations. She worked closely with me to make sure the designs matched the copy I wrote, and she was extremely responsive. Our theme was “Stars Align & Hearts Combine” and I can wholeheartedly say that our invitations reflect our cosmic vision. Our invitations are to be framed and will hang on our wall as they are truly a work of art. Having matching tote bags for all of our guests was such a unique touch and really special. I am so grateful to Britt for all of her hard work; she made our dreams a reality!!
