Since 2018, Lizzie and I have formed a dynamic photography duo. My journey in photography spans over a decade, with a deep-rooted passion for wedding photography kindled by the guidance of professional mentors. The allure of capturing the joy and intimate moments of a couple's happiest day, while helping them stay centered on each other, steered me towards specializing in wedding photography. One of my favorite things is putting together a plan, executing it and having satisfied customers when all is said and done.

photos and we received a lot of compliments on both! We had to make several last minute changes to our photo lineup on the day of the wedding because of rain and elderly relatives not being able to stand for too long, but Joshua and Elizabeth both took these changes in stride and were helpful in getting family members wrangled. Our solo shots also looked amazing and there were a lot of beautiful candids of our wedding party dancing and having fun throughout the night. Overall we had an amazing experience working with Tell It Well and would definitely recommend them to others!

sh, I knew we had found our wedding day photographer as well! Josh was very helpful throughout the process, including stepping up to help us plan our timeline when another vendor had dropped the ball. He was always willing to schedule an additional call, but I only had to take him up on that offer that one time. While his beautiful work speaks for itself, I'll say we absolutely love our gallery of photos, which was a nice mix of candids that captured the energy of the evening, posed photos, and creative shots of the venue and our details. When a few mishaps made me fall behind on the timeline, Josh remained calm and never made me feel rushed, which helped me re-center myself. Finally, he turned around our whole gallery of almost 900 photos in under 2 weeks!

e! I found Tell It Well by entering an Instagram contest to win an engagement photo shoot, and winning! Josh shot our engagement photos on Federal Hill in Baltimore at golden hour in October 2024 and the results were stunning! Josh was so easy to work with as well, it felt so natural and not weird at all being in a public space. After looking for a while and struggling to find a Virginia based photographer for our wedding, we reached back out to Tell It Well, and to our luck, they were still available for our date and willing to travel down to Lexington, VA for such a reasonable travel fee! I am SO happy I went with this vendor as he made our wedding look so beautiful. All of the guests commented on how nice Josh was, and many guests got some pictures taken which I look forward to sending to them! The dancing shots were outstanding as well, something I was a bit worried about, but everyone looks so good and nothing is blurry! I highly, highly recommend Tell It Well to anyone for any photography needs!! You will NOT be disappointed!

They also were incredibly flexible with us as we had to change the venue and schedule for our photos the DAY before the wedding. heir photos for the Save The Date and the Invitations. During that session they taught us some poses that really saved time on the one day where time is the enemy (wedding day). If you are here reading this, it means you do your research, I do too - I found too many options where "Someone" will be sent on behalf of the agency. Tell It Well is the furthest from that, not only do you get to meet with your photographer and learn their name, but it's actually 2 people! We provided them with our schedule and they did pretty much everything else, we aren't photographers so we trusted them to find the best shots and in many cases, they had the best shot from 2 different angles. This duo set our expectations ahead of time and still managed to exceed them. Just call them already.
