Meet Heaven Strothers, Owner of Terra Tovela, LLC Being an owner of Terra Tovela has Heaven in "aww" on the daily. When working with a wide range of people in the food/wine/event industry, with multiple local farmers, a passionate team of Terra Tovela staff, and beautiful authentic venues, she is able to create something uniquely magical for every event. Heaven's creativity and care for each plate starts in the kitchen, and from there it comes to life in that moment. Heaven is all about offering flavorful, colorful, farm fresh food, along with doing her part to be sustainable in the process for every meal. Heaven has been a business owner and has worn many hats throughout her years but being in the food and wine industry she has found her true inner match. Heaven began as a server years ago in hopes to learn what the food industry was really about. Never did she think she'd find her true passion and fall in love with something so spectacular and engaging. She left her first event inspired and hasn't stopped since coming up with ways to improve the industry as she sees it. Quicky learning the ropes in becoming a lead for the front of the house and growing into the bartending realm of things grabbing ahold of fun and new recipes making delicious and beautifully decorated drinks. This led to learning more and diving deep into the business side becoming a coordinator, lead coordinator, hiring, and understanding the importance of connection with clients, venues, and the community as a whole. Heaven took over what was previously known as Della Terra and rebranded making Terra Tovela what it is today in early 2024. She learned from one of the best in the culinary industry when it came to pairing wines with the Terra Tovela menu and her imagination has bloomed. She has the understanding of the importance of presentation and has hit the ground running believing the future is bright.

We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Terra Tovela and Heaven, the owner, for our garden wedding with 50 guests. We opted for heavy apps, instead of a sit-down meal or buffet, that were passed to our guests. Our guests loved the apps, the fruit and veggie boards, as well as the bruschetta bar. The entire staff was professional and Heaven was very responsive leading up to it as well as during, which was much appreciated.

From the moment we chose Terra Tovela as our catering team to the dinner at the wedding itself, we couldn't be more pleased with them. Heaven was so responsive and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. She even helped cut down on our costs with the rentals and picked up supplies for us. The food was superb, farm to table, fresh and delicious. They accommodated all allergies and the presentation was beautiful. The servers and bartender were a delight. Would recommend Terra Tovela to anyone and everyone!

Heaven and her team catered our backyard wedding and they could not have done a better job! The food was delicious and everyone was kind, helpful and positive. Throughout the planning process Heaven was very attentive and responsive. She thought of things that we wouldn’t have come up with and helped everything come together. On the day of the event the few things that we’d left undone, the Tera Tovella team stepped in and found solutions quickly. We were so happy we worked with them and will definitely hire them again for any future events!

We used Terra Tovela for a 60 person membership gathering. They were great to work with. They were responsive to emails and came up with a great menu that covered multiple dietary concerns. The food was delicious. We opted for drop-off appetizers. The staff who came on the day of the event were very helpful. They plated the food beautifully. They stayed longer than expected to makes sure all the food got out to guests smoothly. I would highly recommend Terra Tovela.

Heaven was great to work with! Everything -- from the initial taste testing, to selecting appetizers and entrees, to set-up and service -- went smoothly and easily, something you really come to appreciate when juggling multiple vendors. Heaven herself was both responsive and pro-active, and the food for the wedding was delicious. We're very happily sitting and eating all the leftovers in the week following!

Absolutely amazing!!!! We used them for our wedding of about 100 people. The food was delicious and plentiful. Honestly one of the best meals I've had ever, let alone at
a wedding. They went above and beyond to make sure our menu accommodated our celiac guests. The bartenders were wonderful and great with our guests too. Della Terra coordinated all of our rentals and made the process so easy. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough.

We hired Della Terra to cater for my daughter's wedding which was held in our backyard on our flower farm. The tastings we had attended proved to us Della Terra was a cut above the rest. Chef Cody was sincere about his mission to deliver food reminiscent of an Italian countryside that tasted so fresh and "from the earth". We definately wanted that farm-to-table taste and feel for the food that was served at the wedding. On the day of the wedding the Della Terra team showed up with smiles and grace. They were confident, poised and professional at all times. When heading back to the farmhouse to check in, it was so fun to see my home kitchen filled with professionals doing what they loved and getting along. They did an amazing job fitting in at our unique 'venue'.... From the tray passed hor'duerves, fresh & unique salad, customized soup and all the way to the plated meal we could not have been more pleased with the service, taste and Farm-to-Table feel that Della Terra executed that day!

Della Terra’s food was a huge hit at our wedding! We knew we made the right choice months prior, when we went to a tasting night at their property. My mom, bridesmaids and I were able to sample several appetizers and entrees, and we loved our experience with the food and the staff. Della Terra delivered excellent quality at our wedding, with beautifully presented farm-to-table style food. Guests raved about how delicious it was and they went back for seconds. We scarfed down leftovers the next day, too! Their staff were friendly, easy to work with, and they even fixed an individual plate of food for a family member who does not eat from buffets due to a kidney transplant. Highly recommend Della Terra, and so glad we chose them to cater our wedding!

We LOVED having della terra cater our wedding. They provided a beautiful buffet and everything was SO delicious. We had the great experience of doing a dinner with della terra at another event previously, and immediately knew we wanted them to cater our wedding. We both love good food, as do many of our friends and family members, so we knew food would be a big part of our budget and an important decision. We had so much fun at the tastings figuring out what we wanted to serve, and everything turned out amazing! Months later and people were STILL talking about the citrus mascarpone polenta, which was only just one of the many sides we chose! Everything was delicious and we were just bummed we were going straight to a hotel afterwards and then to our honeymoon, so we couldn't take leftovers home. We would have eaten it all for a week after! We'd absolutely recommend della terra to anyone looking for good local delicious farm to table food!

We couldn't have been happier from start to finish with Della Terra! From going to our first tasting and meeting Cody and staff, they were absolutely the best. After tasting many different caterers, Della Terra was by far the best tasting, best value, and friendliest group we talked to. They did a great job working with us over two tasting to refine our menu and make updates based on our preferences. The day of, they executed perfectly and we received so many compliments from our guests on the quality and freshness of the food. They provided plenty of food for our very hungry guests and even had leftovers which was perfect for us to take after our wedding. 100% would recommend and will think of Della Terra for any future catering needs!

Della Terra is simply the best in catering! The food is absolutely delicious, the presentation so spot on and the team are not only gracious and kind but a complete delight to work with. When you need a caterer, this is the team to call. We have used them twice now for our fundraisers for Bridge Receiving Center and they are simply the best!

Chef Cody & Della Terra were absolutely amazing to work with! We reached out to Della Terra at the beginning of COVID and were immediately impressed by Chef Cody's ingenuity to do take-home tastings to help us learn more about his services (this was March 2020). The food was absolutely amazing and we quickly hired Della Terra as caterers for our wedding reception.
Soon after booking, we were told our wedding venue could not host our wedding, and Chef Cody was incredibly helpful with venue recommendations. Unfortunately we ended up having to go with a venue that had exclusive catering already, but Chef Cody was again amazing to work with and offered to put our deposit towards a catered rehearsal dinner at our home instead.
A few weeks before the rehearsal, Chef Cody visited us to learn more about our kitchen & the space, and on the night of the rehearsal, he & Della Terra served an amazing meal to us, our close family, and bridal party. Every detail Della Terra was a part of was wonderful (they even left our kitchen spotless afterwards), and our guests loved the food more from Della Terra than they did at our reception!
Not only is Della Terra an amazing catering company for their food, but also we feel truly honored to have partnered with them as people. Their winery recommendations are now our go-to places for special events and we're excited to sign up for some Della Terra holiday meals in the new year to continue supporting this amazing business!

I can’t say enough good things about Della Terra! They catered our wedding in a very tricky location to access (as in, on top of a mountain). Cody was enthusiastic from the start despite the challenges of the venue and the team was a huge help when we had a few mishaps not even related to the catering! They went above and beyond, not to mention the food was absolutely delicious. Cody was very detail oriented and organized which made sure things went smoothly. The whole team was just great to work with and we would love to use them for events in the future!

Della Terra catered our wedding on 7/24, and we still have guests talking about how phenomenal our wedding food was! The quality of our dinner was super important to us as a couple, and Della Terra went above and beyond. Our experience leading up to the wedding was a bit stressful, as we felt we weren’t able to communicate with our caterer as much as we would have liked, but we understood that this summer is particularly crazy for the industry, and they were absolutely slammed and booked with weddings! We’re so thankful we chose Della Terra, and would absolutely recommend them for your upcoming wedding. It’s pretty great having wedding food be a majorly memorable part of your day!
