Our whole process with Phoebe at TXGC from property, to food and staff was amazing until the day of our wedding. Unfortunately in her absence the day before our wedding it appears her assistant dropped the ball. Despite timelines we'd provided in advance to Phoebe and conversation I had the day prior with her assistant, my team showed up on the wedding day at our scheduled time to find the bridal suite not clean, nor our ceremony chairs out so we could start decorating while we waited for them to flip the ballroom. Instead when I showed up an hour later than my team (per their request so I wouldn't have to do anything) the venue still was not ready but to try and be on-time I immediately start trying to get things done with my team. Unfortunately due to the venues delay, it put all of us behind causing my wedding to be delayed an hour and me incurring additional fees by our other vendors because of us running late...Ultimately, Phoebe and her banquet team tried their best to get things back on track and I will say she tried to go above and beyond that day to try and make it right. I felt so bad for her because our interactions with her and her team had been so amazing outside of those issues. It just sucked that the mishaps end up being at our expense. However, I would choose this venue again and recommend to anyone. I would just ensure next time that we contacted morning of to ensure things are still in order as scheduled...This is the only reason I gave 4 * and not 5.
