The vows, the laughter, the quiet tears, the joyful celebration — it’s something I never take for granted. Originally from Idaho, my husband and I followed the pull of the Oregon coast after raising our children, and we fell in love all over again — with the sunsets, the small-town charm of Yachats, and the peaceful rhythm of life here. Now I have the privilege of sharing that magic with every couple who walks through our doors. Behind the scenes, I’m organized, detail-focused, and always thinking ahead so you don’t have to. On the front end, I’m excited for you, invested in your vision, and here to answer every question along the way. Meet Chef Tyler Albrecht Greetings from the Adobe Resort kitchen. I’m Chef Tyler Albrecht, and creating memorable food experiences isn’t just my career — it’s my passion. My number one goal is to help create everlasting memories through thoughtfully planned and beautifully prepared menus. Whether you’re celebrating your wedding day, a 50th anniversary, a birthday, or a special gathering, everything that comes out of the Adobe kitchen is fresh, locally inspired, exciting, and prepared with care — just as if I were cooking for my own family. (And yes, my mom and pop do frequently visit the restaurant.) My culinary journey began in California, where I completed culinary school and started as a dishwasher at a humble yet incredible microbrewery in the San Joaquin Valley. Within months, I worked my way up to Kitchen Manager — and from that moment on, I was hooked. I wanted to craft menus, create memories, and truly delight the senses. From there, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, where I worked as a chef at Facebook. There, I prepared cuisines from around the world and gained extensive experience accommodating food allergies and specialized dietary needs — something I take very seriously and handle with great care. After leading a farm-to-table restaurant in Palo Alto and spending time back home at the brewery, I followed my parents to the beautiful Oregon Coast — and immediately fell in love. I can see the ocean from the kitchen, and that inspiration finds its way into every plate we serve. It would be my honor to help create that same falling-in-love feeling for you and your guests.
