When looking for a wedding venue we knew we wanted something more unique and fun, and the Warhol was a perfect fit. We did have some initial hesitation about the quick turnaround time from the museum closing to our event starting, but we were reassured by the Warhol team that they do it all the time and it would not be an issue. And it truly was not an issue at all, they are PROS and had the room set up perfectly even ahead of schedule. There are also so many activities / fun activations you can have at your wedding with the Warhol like gallery tours, a custom photobooth, and screen printing. The food was also excellent! When people ask where you're having your wedding and you say "The Andy Warhol Museum" be prepared for a lot of "oh wow" and "that's so cool" because it really is so special to be able to host an event here and guests will love it. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dylan and LaSawn on the Carnegie Museums/Warhol team and Heather from the Culinaire catering team who were all so wonderful and kind. Extra-special shoutout to Heather because we worked with her from day one and she is just AMAZING, and truly one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. If you're considering the Warhol for your wedding, you won't regret it!
The Warhol was absolutely amazing!! Planning was made easy and staff was super friendly. Everything came out perfectly and I could not think of a better place to have our wedding. 100% reccomend
The Andy Warhol Museum is an amazing place to get married! The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. We were initially worried with the short turn around time from when the museum closes to when our ceremony would start, but we shouldn’t have. They took care of everything and it went really smoothly. The food is delicious and the tables/chairs they provide look great in the venue. We opted to include the photo booth and could not be happier with how that turned out - it was a huge hit with our guests! If you are looking for a unique, fun venue look no further! The art speaks for itself, and it was a beautiful place to have a party and to take photos in. Our guests had a fantastic time and loved being able to see the art as well.
Only thing to be aware of is if there is a game the weekend you get married, it will make parking difficult and the hotels within walking distance very expensive. Our hotel blocks wouldn’t lock in the price until after the NFL schedule was released. We were lucky that for our October weekend, there weren’t any games (Pirates, Steelers, or Pitt football).
The Andy Warhol Museum is THE BEST! We can not say enough wonderful things about the staff especially, Brigitte and Lindsey! They were so easy to work with, they were so professional and they know their stuff. The Warhol took care of everything!! It was the best day ever! The food was delicious, the tables/chairs were perfect and the venue speaks for itself. If you want an incredibly unique space for your wedding, look no further than The Andy Warhol Museum.
If you're looking for an incredible and unique venue with excellent staff- look no further! The Warhol museum was everything we could have dreamed of and then some. Everyone was very friendly, easy to work with and so helpful! Questions were always answered promptly and everyone truly went out of their way to make our special day one for the books! I would recommend this venue for not only weddings and receptions but any type of important event, corporate or personal. They will go above and beyond to make sure everything goes perfectly!
We had a blast at the Warhol. The staff was professional and helpful. Most of our friends were from out of town, and they loved the tours of the artwork. High recommend.
Where do I even begin??!! I wanted to have our wedding in a funky, unique venue and the Warhol museum was absolutely perfect for us! I currently live in South Florida, so the majority of the wedding was planned with Kristen (and Hollie, but she joined the team towards the end!) via email. She seriously could not have been more fantastic or accommodating!! I ended up n to even hiring a wedding planner because Kristen and Hollie just really had the process down to a science! I was able to fly into town a couple times to decide what parts of the venue to rent and which foods to serve, but literally everything else was done online. We ended up having to change the date after putting down the deposit, and they made that SO EASY for us, when it could have been a huge ordeal! We also ended up with a HURRICANE in our hometown on the weekend of our wedding, which cut our guest list DRAMATICALLY and the team at the Warhol were able to rethink the room layout and even help us keep our catering selections to a minimum.
We did both the cake and catering through the museum and it was simply fantastic! All of the guests raved about the food and the presentations were just perfect!
We ended up not renting any of the museum floors (as we didnt want to "lose" guests in the place!) and it was STILL well worth the money paid.
I really just can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had with the Warhol team and how perfect they made our wedding day amidst the chaos!!!
Our amazing photographer really captured the spirit of the wedding and the venue - check out his blog and video for more images: http://www.joshuakanephotography.com/blog/jen-mike-andy-warhol-museum-pittsburgh
We had a small quick elopement at the Warhol and it was the perfect wedding!! So unique and beautiful!! Holly incrediably accommodating and helpful. They made it stress free and just perfect!!
I cannot say enough positive things about having a wedding at the Warhol Museum! The staff (Kristen and Hollie) were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were easy to communicate with and answered questions/concerns in a timely fashion. They took care of all the details on the day of the event, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. We had a few special requests that they went above and beyond to help us with. Our guests enjoyed the venue and thought the food was great!
