Only a 25-minute drive from Boston, the venue is conveniently located for guests traveling to and from your wedding. Once a farmstead, the estate was converted in 1902 into a classic country house, designed by architect Charles Platt. Charles renovated the grounds into a beautiful mansion with immaculate gardens and premises.
The estate has been owned by the Trustees of Reservations since 1991 and has been catered and managed by Fireside Catering since 2015. Director of sales and events for Fireside Catering, Jessica Belanger, has a flair for weddings. Jessica seeks to tailor each wedding to your taste. With years of experience in the restaurant and event sales industry, Jessica will do her utmost to ensure you get the wedding of your dreams.
Thanks to the carefully manicured lawns and surrounding parterre garden, your wedding photos will be truly enviable. You may opt to host your ceremony on-site ahead of the reception, where the beautiful gardens will add that special touch. Weddings with up to 80 guests can be held in the house. There is a sizable terrace to host you and your guests for cocktail hour, along with an entire floor for dinner and dancing afterward. If you prefer to celebrate outdoors, no problem; the formal gardens and an outdoor marquee can nicely accommodate up to 180 invitees. The grounds are wheelchair accessible, and there is also a private changing area on the second floor for you, your partner, and guests.

The Bradley Estate is an incredible venue and we are so lucky we were able to have our wedding here! Jessica and the whole team were AMAZING. Jessica was SO kind and helped us through every step of the process. She is exactly who you want on your side when planning such an important day - she answered all of our questions and more, gave us great recommendations and ideas, and pulled off such a wonderful day! I was so upset leading up to the day because the weather took a turn for the worse, but Plan B having the ceremony under the tent was still so wonderful and honestly, Jessica's calm demeanor truly helped day of put my mind at ease. I knew we were in great hands. I honestly wish I could do it all over again just to work with her and everyone else with Fireside Catering. We still have people coming up to us telling us how our wedding was the best they've been to - the food, the vibes, the grounds - just everything was immaculate. If you want a stunning, worry free wedding, look no further! Forever grateful for Jessica & team for taking such amazing care of us from start to finish. We will never forget it!

This is such a magical venue for a wedding! Jessica communicated with our wedding planner and us so effectively to help us ensure the perfect day. The grounds are well-kept, and we loved having a permanent stone-floor under the tent that led into the house. Something that makes the Bradley Estate stand apart from other historical venues is how the house itself is used during the event! We even had a private parlor upstairs where we could see our guests at cocktail hour and take a breather. We loved having our wedding at such a wonderful location filled with history!

We had our wedding at the Bradley Estate back in September, and we're beyond happy with our venue choice. Not only was the ceremony setting and the reception area absolutely beautiful, Jessica was such a great help during the planning process. She and the staff made everything flow smoothly on the day of. They even set aside some cocktail hour food for us to enjoy after taking sunset photos with our photographer.
It felt like we were in our own little world at the Bradley Estate, especially when we did our first look by the trees beyond the ceremony area. We're so happy we found this gem of a venue; everyone reminds us of how much fun they had and that we made an excellent choice.

We loved getting married at The Bradley Estate. It is truly one of the most gorgeous venues. The ceremony gardens and tent are truly beautiful - it fulfilled all of my wedding garden party dreams! The Fireside Catering team is so knowledgeable, helpful and willing to work with you on your desires. We are so grateful for their expertise in planning our day. On the day-of, we had endless employees helping us and making sure our day went off with no issues and that we were comfortable and happy! We received so much feedback from our guests on the food - especially the cocktail hour - people loved it! We would recommend the Bradley Estate to any future couples looking for an outdoor venue.

Where to even begin- I wish we could get married at The Bradley Estate a million times over! We held our dream wedding there for 130 guests after planning it with Jessica Belanger from Fireside Catering for about 18 months.
The Venue: Unbelievably beautiful, words barely do it justice. I know Jessica doesn’t control the weather, but the sun came out just in time for our ceremony and was so so magical. The rain plan (ceremony under the tent) would have been beautiful too! We felt extremely at ease knowing that there was a backup plan in case of unpredictable New England weather. It was also very helpful that we could go to the property anytime because it’s open to the public! We spent a lot of walkthroughs dreaming about our day there. The bridal suite inside the house was the perfect place to watch guests arrive from, and it was an added bonus to have a large private bathroom to use all evening. We opted to start our ceremony 30 minutes early at 4:30 and are very happy we did.
The Food: I’ll just put it in the words of one of my friends who texted the day after the wedding, “the mashed potatoes sent me to the stratosphere.” The food was AMAZING! From the lobster rolls, truffle fries, and mini fried chicken sandwich hors d’oeuvres to the NY Strip and aforementioned mashed potatoes for dinner. We and our guests were blown away! It was delicious. Very minor thing- our cutting cake was almost rock solid when we went to cut it, it probably needed to be taken out of the refrigerator sooner. But it tasted great and our struggle to cut it resulted in cute pictures.
The Planning & The People: Fireside Catering was absolutely fantastic to work with. Jessica felt like a perfect personality match for me, which was great because I (the bride) was the primary wedding planner. I just so appreciated how realistic she was when she gave answers and advice (a small example of many: she strongly urged me to not worry about paying for/getting mason jars for guests to take flowers home in at the end of the night. And she was right, it was totally fine without them.). Several guests remarked that all of the staff working at our wedding were so kind and attentive and we experienced the same. On a separate note, I would encourage other couples hosting their wedding at the Bradley Estate to not be afraid to go off of the recommended vendors list. All of our vendors except one were NOT pre-approved, but the process for getting them approved was extremely painless and simple.
All in all, we could not be more happy with our experience at The Bradley Estate. We’re so thankful for everyone who made our day a reality!

We had the best experience working with Jessica leading up to our big day. We were able to attend tasting events with other couples getting married at the Bradley estate and Jessica always answered all our questions and made sure we were on track with planning. We had the most beautiful day and the team coordinated everything perfectly, including our double set ceremony spaces since it was raining. THE FOOD!! Our guests are still talking about it being the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Not only was the lamb spectacular, they were very generous portions! We had the most lovely day and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about The Bradley Estate or the amazing team at Fireside Catering. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has so much charm you really don't need a ton of decorations. Your pictures will also be amazing thanks to the beautiful gardens and rustic backdrop. Not only is the venue stunning, but Jessica and her team make planning your wedding day there a dream. She is responsive to all of your questions and does all she can to help make your day run smoothly. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to get married here. If you are looking for a one of a kind venue, then look no further. I promise you will not regret choosing The Bradley Estate!

Our wedding at the Bradley Estate was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunningly beautiful, and even more so when we had our wedding in June since the dogwood trees were in bloom. Jessica did a fantastic job making sure everything was ready and ran smoothly on the day. The food from Fireside Catering was also amazing. Everything was a dream. Would highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about Bradley Estate and Fireside Catering for hosting our unforgettable wedding. It is not enough to just have a beautiful venue, the whole team at Bradley and Fireside have the whole package. Our food was excellent and a good deal - we felt as though we got what we paid for with quality and execution. The estate itself and the reception tent were beautifully maintained and had every amenity we could need for our day. Finally, the team who executed the event were fantastic. Jessica was so great to work with throughout our entire planning process, always approachable and responsive, offered frank and honest advice the whole time and on the day of, was a calming and highly efficient coordinator. All of the wait staff were professional, attentive, and executed everything perfectly. They kept our timeline which was greatly important to us, and were always one step ahead of us so my husband and I didn't have to think about a single thing except our enjoyment. You will not go wrong with Bradley Estate!

Couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. We had to change our plans multiple times due to the unforeseen circumstances of 2020, and happen to reach out to Tim H, caterer from The Bradley Estate. We worked with to set up our reception hosted September 2020 which was such a memorable event. From the stellar staff present during our reception, to the food served, to the absolutely beautiful Estate grounds, we received so many compliments on our wedding. I would recommend The Bradley Estate to any couple looking to have the perfect day, and the team at Fireside Catering will assist in making your day memorable.

My husband and I got married at the Bradley Estate in June 2019. We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding and tented reception, and had visited a handful of venues in the Boston area, including Moraine Farm, Fruitlands, and the Gardens at Elms Bank. As soon as we stepped onto the Bradley Estate, we knew it was the one -- and keep in mind, we visited during February when it was cold, barren, and snowy! I am picky when it comes to aesthetics, and instantly fell in love with the architecture and grandeur of the building, the interior rooms, and the outdoor gardens.
Since we live on the west coast, we loved that Fireside Catering would take care of the venue, ceremony & reception set-up, food, and day-of logistics. Tim Holmes was an absolute wedding planning all-star. Working with him made planning a x-country wedding so much easier. He's a detailed, professional, no-nonsense kind of guy. He has made a career out of planning and executing high stakes (and highly emotional) days, and has seen and planned for every edge case. Believe me, I had all the "what if's" in my head leading up to the big day, and he and his team locked down every single detail to perfection. Exactly the type of team we wanted on our side.
Fast forward to the day of our wedding: the weather was forecasted to have thunder showers (did I mention I've always wanted an outdoor wedding?) As soon as I arrived at the venue, spirits were high - there was a calm hustle from the team to get everything in place. Tim checked in with us regularly to give us updates on minute-by-minute cloud coverage triaged from his various weather apps (did I mention he's a professional?) Based on his advice, we ended up making the call to delay the start of our ceremony by 15mins and thank goodness for that decision because the clouds cleared & sun rays were beaming as I walked down the aisle. We ended up having the sunny outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour I'd dreamed of, followed by our tented reception. Plus, a fun thunderstorm during dinner (thankfully while everyone was under the tent), that made for the most outrageously gorgeous post-storm sunset photos. I don't know if it was pure luck or if Tim has a direct line to the weather gods (probably), but I couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to trust with our most special day.
Some closing thoughts:
- For some reason, I was hung up early on about the reception tent not having a wooden floor (there is a wooden dance floor but tables & chairs will be on grass). This ended up not being an issue at all. Nobody notices the ground, and you certainly won't on your wedding day. Same goes for tables and chairs.
- I was also concerned about mosquitoes since our wedding was in June. We left bug spray out, but nobody needed to use it.
- I didn't realize there would be so much daylight! The sun set at 8:30pm, so most of our wedding party happened in daylight and felt like a garden party. Which was unexpected but awesome in its own way.
- If you're looking for an amazing photographer, go with Paul Robert Berman who adores shooting at the Bradley Estate. He was the 2nd vendor we booked right after we locked down our date and venue.
- Cake! Guests still rave about the olive oil cake from Montilio's.
- Food! Really glad we upgraded to the sea bass. The day was a blur for me, so I don't remember much of what I ate, but guests loved the food. I do remember the late-night poutine I ate at 9pm, which holds a special place in my heart.

The Bradley Estate is such a perfect place to get married, we can't recommend it enough. Though we were drawn to a wedding on a historic property, the Bradley initially escaped our notice, probably because it hosts relatively few private events each year. The perfectly landscaped walled garden in the back is an unbelievably beautiful location for a wedding ceremony. We were lucky with a perfect fall day, with a pristine house on one side and the first hint of fall color in the woods behind the house on the other side of our ceremony. The ceremony flowed very smoothly to cocktail hour on the patio and at the porch bar, and then out to dinner under the tent. While I was full of nerves that we would be hit with bad weather, the house and tent would have offered plenty of refuge, and having seen the staff in action now, I'm 100% confident that they would have pulled off the logistic hurdles seemlessly. The food was delicious and the service was personal and attentive all night. My parents were so impressed that servers learned their names, checked in regularly, assisted elderly family members, and truly seemed invested in helping us have a perfect day. And we literally cannot say enough about the wonderful Tim Holmes, event manager extraordinaire. He was so responsive to our questions, offered fantastic suggestions, and really "got" the kind of wedding we were aiming for. We are profoundly grateful for his help, and we recommend the Bradley without reservation.

We got married here in June '19. This place is amazing!
The venue - beautiful! They limit the number of events per year to keep the grounds pristine. You hardly need a florist because all the flowers are beautiful!
The food - amazing! It's all catered by Fireside catering. They are THE BEST. I've gotten so many compliments from friends and family
The planner - Tim is awesome! He's your point of contact. He puts you at ease, and makes the planning process really easy.
We're really grateful we found this venue / caterer for our wedding!

My husband and I went to see The Bradley Estate first when we were researching wedding venues. Out of the 5 wedding venues we saw in the Boston area, we kept comparing every other venue to the Bradley. It truly had an impact on us and we were glad we made the decision we did.
I know that if you're still reading this that it must mean that you've come across a few other reviews that mention a person named Tim; and for good reason.
Tim Holmes made the whole experience so easy and has built such a strong name for himself in the wedding industry. Trust me when I say you'll be in great hands.
We couldn't have asked for a smoother, less stressful experience both on the long road there and on the actual day.
Do yourself a favor and just book a tour of the grounds. What do you have to lose?

The Bradley Estate is a breath taking landscape. The grounds are immaculately kept, and could not be a better backdrop for a wedding ceremony and wedding portraits. Tim and his entire team are extremely helpful and accommodating to make your day truly unique to you. The food from Fireside Catering is beyond delicious! We got so many compliments on our wedding overall, and that is mostly thanks to the Bradley Estate. I wish I could get married here every year! lol

My husband and I got married at the Bradley Estate this summer. We wanted an outdoor venue that was not too far from Boston since we had a lot of guests flying in from out of town, and after a lot of searching we found Bradley. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and we liked having the inside space for a solid rain (or hot weather) plan, although happily we managed to get beautiful weather on our day. We also really liked that we were supporting the Trustees through our venue fee.
Another big draw of Bradley for us was the partnership with Fireside catering, so we got an amazing venue, catering, and planning support all in one. Tim and the whole Fireside team are incredible. Tim really helped made the process of planning our wedding easier, helping to keep us organized and always available for questions and advice. On the day of, Fireside staff were there to bring water and snacks for my bridesmaids and I before the ceremony, usher us downstairs when it was time and help signal our guests when it was time to move from cocktail hour to the ceremony, etc., serve incredible food, and generally make sure the evening progressed flawlessly. We got so many compliments from our guests during and after the wedding about how good the food was. My husband and I are vegetarian but most of our guests were not, and Fireside was great about accommodating our food preferences, guest allergies, etc. Can’t recommend the Bradley estate and Fireside enough!

The Bradley Estate was the first venue my husband and I looked at and I fell in love with it from the very first visit. I loved everything about it, from the lush green background gardens, the lamas, and antique mansion. I wish I could repeat our wedding day again, again, and again....that’s how great it all went. My guests are STILL commenting on what a nice time they had overall. It really did go beautifully and it was everything we had hoped for and so much more. I also have to mention Tim, who was hands down was the most easy coordinator to work with. From the very first email (and I sent him LOTS of emails) to the day of the wedding, he was extremely attentive and helpful. I also have to add, my husband and I found out we were pregnant 3 months after booking the Bradley estate. I gave birth to our baby girl exactly 7 weeks before the wedding, so needless to stay it was a busy, stressful but very happy time. I credit Tim with helping us navigate all the final details so perfectly, I knew I had nothing to worry about the day of and I was right. If you are looking for a place that is stunning and comes with a super patient and attentive wedding coordinator who will make sure your day goes off without a hitch; this is the place! Thank you again Tim! Ralph, Neuza & Ruby

The Bradley Estate was such a picture perfect venue, with even more perfect staff. Our day-of coordinator, Tim, was so easy and fun to work with and he didn't miss a beat! He always responded to emails quickly and was so flexible! The entire staff was wonderful and I could not say any nicer things about them. This venue had the elegant yet simple feel that I was looking for. The tent and lights were so beautiful at night and the ceremony gardens looked like a movie. Several of our guests said it was the best wedding venue they had ever seen. I cannot say enough nice things about this venue and have zero regrets. The food was amazing, the gardens were amazing, the staff was amazing- it was just all amazing. Definitely has my recommendation!

For a comfortable, 120 person, mid-sized wedding, it's tough to top The Bradley Estate. As a venue, it's great. The house, the garden, the grounds, the on-site llama, Ruby; it's all wonderful and our guests were raving about it. But there are lots of pretty places in New England.
What sets this apart from other venues is the experience you'll have working with Fireside catering and, specifically, Tim Holmes, the event director for the property. In a word, it's superlative. Tim proved time and again to be responsive, knowledgable, friendly, and, most importantly, helpful. Wedding planning can be stressful, time consuming, and frustrating. Or it can be fun, rewarding, and relatively stress-free. Tim's involvement in all the major decisions (food, tent, ceremony, liquor) made the entire process a breeze. Not something everyone can say about their wedding planning. Additionally, the on-site Fireside staff the night of the wedding were all outstanding.
If you want a beautiful wedding that you can shape to be your own, but that fits neatly into a template laid out before you by friendly, attentive professionals, I can't recommend working with Tim, Fireside, and The Bradley Estate, any higher.

Our wedding at the Bradley Estate was everything we dreamed of and more.
Leading up to the day we had the best experience working with Tim Holmes. He was helpful, responsive and we trusted his opinion throughout the process.
Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the gardens. They were so well kept, we hardly had to do any flowers on our own. During cocktail hour, the Alpacas and sheep next door came right up to the fence! The new sail cloth tent for the reception was everything we dreamed of. The day-of staff kept us right on schedule and was very attentive making sure we were able to try our passed apps, drinks and meals. While we didn’t eat as much as we wanted because of the nature of the busy day, all of our guests have been raving about the food. Some have even said it’s the best filet they’ve ever had.
We highly recommend the Bradley Estate and wish we could relive our wedding day there!

I can’t say enough positive things about this venue. Not only are the grounds and estate absolutely gorgeous, but the staff will blow you away. Fireside catering staff are so accommodating and my guests couldn’t stop raving about the food! But the thing that made this venue so worth it was the coordinator Tim Holmes. He held my hand the entire wedding process and made everything so easy and saved my wedding day from a certain disaster!!! Can’t thank him enough!

My husband and I got married at the Bradley Estate in September. Ever since we first met with the Fireside Catering coodinator, Tim Holmes, we knew this was the place for us. Not only are the ground beautiful and well kept, but Tim was there every step of the way from our first meeting, food tasting, pre wedding planning meeting and even our wedding day. Tim was so helpful, assisting the men with their boutineres, making sure the girls were comfortable and even making a run to the store for us that day before he left. We cannot say enough good things about this place and our day. Everyone from the staff was so helpful and the day ran smoothly. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for and outdoor wedding, you won’t regret it!

I just had my wedding here, and it was phenomenal. The estate is beautiful and charming, the staff was wonderful, and all of our guests had a wonderful time. The grounds are absolutely stunning, there was recently a large installation of new beds put in, and the place looks incredible. Other than not being able to get on site until two hours before the wedding, there were no downsides. We had guests stay in Boston and hired a shuttle to take the out of town guests there and back. Working with Tim Holmes was a great experience, he was patient and responsive. I highly recommend this venue!

First, it’s no secret that the Bradley Estate is absolutely beautiful. It’s easy to get to from Boston and right off the highway, but it feels very private and tucked away. It’s part of the Trustees of Reservations society, which means they only do a limited number of events per year to keep the venue pristine. After my husband and I had a brief tour of the grounds, we knew we had our place! One of the things we liked most was the feel of the entire space, from the inside of the house to the side porch, to the back lawn and the little farm (where a cute llama and some sheep reside!). It poured rain on our wedding day, but I couldn’t be disappointed for long when I saw what a beautiful job they did with everything. The ceremony and reception were in the tent and cocktail hour was inside the house, and it all felt nice and cozy on a chilly October day! I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. Tim Holmes (of Fireside Catering), Julie, and Courtney, were all so attentive and took great care of us, including running champagne and cheese up to the bridal suite as my girls and I got ready, and making sure everything was running smoothly in general. I could go on, but I’ll wrap it up by saying the Bradley was the perfect venue for our New England wedding, rain and all!

We got married at the Bradley Estate in September, and the entire day was absolutely perfect. We had our ceremony in the formal garden, and a tented reception on the huge lawn. It is such a beautiful venue, you would never guess that it is so close to a main road. The Bradley Estate uses Fireside Catering for catering and event coordination, so we primarily worked with them. They, especially Tim Holmes, were so great and made sure every detail was taken care of. We looked at a bunch of venues from Boston to Newport, RI, some of which were over twice as expensive as the Bradley Estate. We honestly picked the Bradley Estate because we liked it the most, and it was a huge bonus that it was (relatively) more affordable. We were so so happy with our choice, and would not have changed a single thing about our wedding.

This review is for the Bradley Estate but specifically for Fireside Catering Event Coordinator Tim Holmes. From the first time we saw the Bradley until our wedding was over, Tim was EXACTLY the person we needed to work with. He was professional, accommodating, and organized. He has the ability to take whatever you're worried about and take the stress and solution on himself. Everything on our wedding day was perfect because of Tim and the Bradley. It was certainly a lot of money, but if you're able to swing it the Bradley Estate is a delight to work with from start to finish. The food was delicious, the estate breath taking, and the grounds impeccable.

The Bradley Estate is a stunning venue. There are plenty of estate reception locations in the area and Bradley seemed to be the best maintained. The house is charming and the grounds are impeccable. Bradley has an exclusive caterer, Fireside Catering. We did not have a good experience with Fireside which is why the rating is so low. If this rating were just about the actual venue itself the rating would be much higher. You will not work with a rep from Bradley - they don't have one. You will only work with Fireside. At one point in the planning, we thought about canceling and losing our deposit so that we could work with another caterer at another venue. It's real shame because Bradley is a lovely location! Our photos are amazing but our memories of working with Fireside are not. If you have the kind of money to have your wedding at Bradley, we would recommend going elsewhere.

My now husband and I have been members of the Trustee of Reservations for many years. We were engaged at another one of their properties, World's End but had not experienced the Bradley Estate until we started looking for a place to get married. We had looked at a few venues prior in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island but when we walked onto the grounds of this estate we knew this was the place for us. If you have found your gown it was similar in feeling. An added bonus was knowing our money was helping a nonprofit we already supported and knew from first hand experience how well maintained their properties are. Our wedding was in September on a beautiful day so we were able to have our ceremony in the garden with our reception inside. We had 75 guests which I felt was pretty near perfect in numbers for this set up. The main house cannot hold more than 100 so anything over you will need to rent a tent. Because the weather was still exceptionally nice the main doors to the house and loggia were kept open which created a nice subtle breeze through the house making it very comfortable. We did not hire a wedding coordinator but we were assigned a day of coordinator for our event. We worked with Kelly who is so knowledgeable, available and accommodating with any questions or concerns. She knows this property like the back of her hand and I was beyond comfortable deferring to her experience managing events here when it came to making final decisions. Our catering was our biggest expense but we heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests. We had our cocktail hour outside and brought in lawn games for a really casual and laid back atmosphere. Dancing was on the loggia. Looking back the only thing I would have done differently is pay for an additional hour. The standard rental is 5 hours and you are allowed on the property two hours prior to get ready and take pictures. I knew all of this going in and it is doable (come to the Estate with hair and make up done and groomsmen dressed) but the time goes by SO quickly and you get so caught up in the day that there are things that I missed in terms of photographs I knew that I wanted and not feeling like I had enough time to spend with all my guests. Because the grounds are so beautiful I did not spend much money at all on flowers or additional decorations. When it was all said and done we had a wedding that was gorgeous and felt truly unique. Not one of our guests had ever been to this venue. And because the grounds are open to the public (not on your wedding day) this will be a place we can come back again and again to relive that very special day. I'm already thinking a picnic lunch on our anniversary!

My husband and I cannot express our appreciation to Beverley Ann and the staff of the Bradley Estate in their efforts toward our daughter’s wedding on May 26th. The estate looked beautiful! The grounds were lovely and exquisitely manicured, and the house was perfectly charming and sparkling. Our appreciation to the estate’s staff goes beyond words! The day was perfect, and the bride and groom couldn’t have been happier!
When our daughter and her fiancé were determining a wedding venue, we toured a number of the estates in the area. They were looking forward to an estate wedding where the ceremony and the reception could be held at the same location. The Bradley Estate was our last stop, and it was a freezing cold winter day. Compared to many of the other estates, this estate was tops in how it has been cared for. Our daughter and her fiancé knew immediately this was the place for them!
We must say the online pictures cannot adequately capture the feeling of this place – inside or out.
The estate is located directly off the highway exit, which was wonderful for guests to easily locate. Once on the grounds, you are surrounded by acres of beautiful landscape. You would never know there is a highway nearby. It is a perfect location!
Beverly Ann gave the first tour of the estate. She takes her job seriously, and her main objective is to be sure your event at the Bradley Estate meets your expectations. We appreciated Beverly Ann’s time, insight, and guidance throughout the planning and execution of our event. Her watchful eye and breadth of knowledge was greatly appreciated. We did not have an event coordinator, and Beverly Ann was available for any general questions and guidance.
Our daughter requested a second tour of the estate to determine how she wanted to decorate the inside areas. Lisa was our second tour guide. We appreciated her insight and ideas, and found her to be a joy!
The estate assigns an event manager to be onsite for each event held. We requested to have Lisa as our event manager, and with luck it worked out! It was wonderful having Lisa as a significant player in the roll out of the day. Her professionalism and poise is a perfect addition to any event at The Bradley Estate.
For anyone considering an event for over 100 guests, you must have a tent since the building cannot sit more than 100 for a reception. The Bradley Estate requires you use BC Tent, and we found the pairing to be perfect! Once you book your date with the estate, you will need to contact BC Tent directly. The estate does not manage this piece for you. The estate does have some specifics that they adhere to, such as no covered canopy in the garden area, so if you have over 100 people and it rains, you must have a plan B, since you will not be able to hold the ceremony in the house.
When our daughter and son-in–law first booked their event, the idea of renting a tent, etc., for 150 people gave us anxiety. However, due to the outstanding service from Valerie at BC Tent, it was a pleasant and stress free experience with exceptional results. There are many options and looks for a tented reception, and the best advice is to take time and look at pictures online for ideas that suit you. Each option has a cost, so keep that in mind when thinking about your budget and check ahead for pricing. Valerie answered questions promptly, and if they didn’t carry a particular item or look, she hunted down the in

My husband and I looked at many, many possible wedding venues before deciding to have our big day at the Bradley Estate. The Estate is beautiful, inside and out, and isn't located out in the middle of nowhere (always a plus when trying to direct people to someplace they have never been before!). We had our ceremony in the formal garden out back, and our reception inside the mansion itself, which worked perfectly for our 80 guests. We had been told that the house can hold up to 100 guests, but I felt that 80 was about the maximum you would want to have, for comfort's sake. Other couples have rented the property and erected a tent on the lawn, which is also a beautiful option. Bradley lets you choose any vendors you wish, other than your caterer - they have a list of 9 or 10 approved companies that they are comfortable working with. Beverly Ann, the main contact at Bradley, is very professional, organized and detail-oriented, though you do need to follow her timeline for when things will happen. The price to rent the estate is fairly average, considering the area - it's not a bargain, but it is a truly beautiful, and historic, property. My only complaint - and it is very minor - is that they are very strict about the timeline. You get 2 hours before your event to setup/take pictures, and your event can only run for 5 hours, before incurring additional fees. Again, I knew all this going in, and still chose to have my wedding there.

We got married at the Bradley Estate during the summer. The grounds are beautiful, a great setting for a wedding. There were many great locations for photo ops. The house is also a nice setting, but the room in which we ate dinner was quite warm, and the foyer where we danced has large columns in the middle of the dance floor. Make sure you do the math before you book your wedding here. They have a limited range of caterers and most are quite expensive. No chairs/tables are included, so you have to rent those, for an additional cost. Also, the estate charges a lot if you go a half hour over, and the 5 hours allotted time includes guest arrival and leaving time. I had an amazing time at my wedding, and I stayed in budget, but I had to sacrifice some other things to have this beautiful venue.

The Bradley estate was the perfect setting for our wedding. The formal gardens were beyond beautiful. Our guests loved walking around the estate and feeding the animals! there were llamas, goats and sheep. The estate is close to the highway, but you would never know that. It was easy for our guests to get to, close to the hotel, yet felt like we were in the country. We worked with a wedding planner who was there the day of the wedding and was really helpful throughout the entire planning process. She had pictures of the estate from all the seasons, which was helpful since we saw it in January. We had to rent a tent because of the number of guests we had, but with a smaller reception, you could use the estate. We hardly needed any decorations because the estate and the grounds were all that you needed. You also support the Trustees of Reservation by having a wedding at the Bradley Estate. Everyone mentioned how beautiful it was.
