We got married at The Centennial Barn in September 2024 and it was absolutely amazing! They were extremely helpful from the first viewing including suggesting other great venues around but we loved this one.
The bridal suite was amazing and lots of space for all of my ladies to get ready and an attached bathroom. The grooms room was a good size for the men to get ready and the room outside of both was great for having lots of snacks and additional space for people to relax while things were going on.
Upstairs was beautifully lit and the bar is easy to access and the barn doors and barn alone add so much character. There's plenty of room for dancing and activities.
Zach (owner) was very helpful and made our day special in many ways including letting us use the tractor and carriage for photos even though he's on a schedule and Johanna (day of coordinator; we the bundle they offer) was an absolute gem to work with. She helped us plan and finalize all of our decisions and the day of the wedding she made everything run so smoothly and look beautiful!
We also worked with Ryan for our DJ (also in the bundle) and he was great with helping us pick all of our songs and he can really feel out the crowd for what songs to play along with taking requests to keep the party lively and fun.
Lastly, we worked with Mixing Memories (also in the bundle) and they were great to work with. They helped us plan what we needed to buy which was pretty spot on and they did a great job.
Overall, the venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing to work with here. The bundle was an extra blessing and really helped with planning and making things run smoothly.

Everything about this day was effortless for us. Johanna is amazing!!! The whole experience from start to finish with Johanna and Zach was great! Awesome communication throughout the whole process. In our opinion 150 guests is a tight fit for the venue but it's a 10 out of 10 venue! So happy!!
We had an October wedding, the outdoor ceremony site was perfect with all the fall colors. We didn't need any decorations. The venue itself is decor inside and out. Thank you to Johanna, Zach and Ryan for making our day go perfectly. We are forever grateful and appreciate you all.

Our experience working with the staff of the centennial barn was more perfect and seamless than we could’ve ever expected or asked for. Zach, the owner and Johanna, the day of coordinator are extremely down to earth, kind, and caring people. Our DJ, Ryan, was super fun and kept the night alive. We had no worries about music/transitions with him as our MC. I can’t recommend the centennial barn/mixing memories enough. There’s no spot you’ll find for a better deal with such great service and everything included (DJ, bartender (mixing memories), coordinator, reception and STUNNING outdoor ceremony spot). The place and people were amazing. You won’t regret choosing to have your wedding here! They’ll ensure you truly have the most beautiful and amazing day of your life!!!

Zach and his wife were absolutely amazing! Finally, people that respond and answer any questions you have. The most down to earth easy to work with and kind people. I will be back when hosting events in the future and will not be going anywhere else. The venue itself is amazing, inside and outside. Hands down best place and people around!

My fiance and I shopped around at various venues.
We went to 4 or 5 before landing on Centennial Barn and Mixing Memories.
Most venues you go to will make you feel like a client. It is simply their job. They are there to get you to sign an agreement and that's that.
We toured Centennial Barn last, and it was the obvious choice. Right from the get go they made us feel welcomed. They treat you more like family than a client. They realize you only get one wedding and they do everything in their power to make it perfect.
Johanna is incredible and the wedding day went incredibly smooth with her expertise in planning. I highly recommend getting the Centennial package!
Zach gave us the initial tour and was very friendly. He is also very quick to respond to emails and texts!
Zach did a fantastic job bartending the day of. All of our guests were happy with the service.
If you wish to be treated like family, and not just a number, then I highly recommend Centennial Barn and Mixing Memories! You won't regret it.

Our wedding could not have been more perfect. The venue was great from the wagon ride to the ceremony site which was beautiful to the barn that was decorated exactly as I pictured. Everything and everyone was how I wanted. Johanna insured that everything ran properly and everything that we’d discussed at our meetings was done. She really cared that everything was how envisioned it. With a morning wedding we were on a time crunch so having someone else with the timeline and in charge of vendors was a huge help. Zach and Ryan were great too. Ryan walked through our playlist the morning of double checking our wants making it feel fun and exciting. Everyone had a drink and no one was waiting to long (especially me and my husband), Zach was great on bar.
We really appreciated everyone working to make sure our special day felt really special.

Love The Centennial Barn! The staff did an incredible job moving our wedding from outside to inside because of weather. The transition was seamless and they helped us a ton with our wedding planning. Zach answers back super fast if you have any questions or ideas.

First of all, this venue is perfect if you are looking for a barn and something rustic. I love that you take a tractor ride to the ceremony site. Then the ceremony site is gorgeous. They set it up so you are surrounded by nature and beautiful trees. I love the bridal suite as it’s set up to bring hair and make up to the venue which is hard to find. Zach is so easy to work with and makes the process that much easier. Johanna is the day of coordinator and goes above and beyond. The Centennial barn lets you enjoy your day, taking away the stress of everything. Highly recommend this barn for a wedding or private event. I promise they will help answer every question big or small.

As a vendor, working with venues can be tricky. This is NOT the case for this venue as their day of coordinator Johanna keeps everything super organized and everyone knows what to do! We worked an event for our family member that got married there and it was EPIC. We had the unique opportunity to work and be a guest at this wedding and the wooded ceremony site is a sight to behold! Great job!

The staff was truly incredible! They were accommodating and gave helpful suggestions when I needed them! They were quick to respond to any and every question I had. The barn and ceremony site was truly beautiful, I liked how they let us set up inside of the barn to fit our needs. They truly helped make my special day go smooth!

We got married 10/12/23 and it was perfect. We were able to set up for a few hours the day before for an extra fee and it made a huge difference. Absolutely love this property and the employees. They are kind, courteous and efficient. I would recommend this venue to anyone for any event.

I really enjoyed having our wedding at the Centennial Barn. I have excellent communication with Samantha, everytime that I sent her an email I had a reply with an hour or so. The ceremony location in the woods is beautiful! The hayride to take us back there went off without a problem! The DJ they have is amazing! we had some interesting requests and he was able to get everything we wanted. and the BARN is beautiful! We got so many compliments on just how amazing of a venue we picked and I couldn't agree more.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. We received so many compliments! There were a lot of rules and regulations and vendors that we had to go through per contract that we did not like. However the owners changed a few months before our wedding so that may be different now.

I was at the wedding previously mentioned and saw that Ami and her husband were accommodating and helpful the whole time! Not once did I see her rude or negative. Every venue has rules and I appreciate them sticking to their policies even if people in our own party aren't following them. I would definitely consider The Centennial Barn for my wedding in the future!!

We were married at The Centennial Barn in September of 2015. What I loved most about the venue was the all inclusive packages they had. Ami and her staff were so helpful in the planning process. We loved that they have a staging company right on site and when we needed extra lanterns the day of the wedding, Ami got them for us quickly and was so flexible with us changing our minds on some of the items we wanted to use on the day of the wedding. When we forgot our sparklers, they even gave us some that they had on hand. We thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful day and would highly recommend this venue. Great to work with.

Wow. We had such a beautiful time at The Centennial. The weather, the venue, the wedding site could not have been more beautiful for us. The hostess, Ami, and her team took neat care of us. We used The Vault caterer - Incredible service. My family and guests could not have had a better time. Thank you Ami and team!!!

We had our wedding at this barn this past summer. It's a beautiful barn but we were not pleased with the way our guests were treated. Months after our wedding our guests still talk about how rude the owner and her husband were to them when we see them. Instead of bothering the master and mistress of Ceremony with issues the father of the bride was bothered, I had to pull up past emails to the owner due to her changing times and final guest counts towards the end, and many more issues we experienced. It was by far the most stressful part of wedding planning. I didn't want to leave a review but after the last comments I heard from some of our guests this past weekend I was really disappointed and upset that we paid a lot of money to be treated like this and it was apparently noticeable to everyone.

We had our wedding at the centennial, and we couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place to get married. Not only was the whole farm gorgeous, Ami and her family were great to work with. Our wedding day was perfect and I owe most of it to Ami. If you're looking for a gorgeous rustic venue with a great staff, the centennial is definitely something to look into.

I had my wedding at the Centennial Barn and couldn't be happier! The outdoor ceremony area was rustic and quaint and the barn reception was eclectic and fun! It was the perfect setting for two people who love the outdoors and appreciate a remote setting. The selection of decorations in the inventory was awesome, ranging from quirky, to artsy, to rustic - meeting the needs of anyone's style and taste. Ami and her staff did a wonderful job setting up the decorations as I had asked and were present and available the entire day of my wedding (as well as during the rehearsal) to answer any questions and lend a hand wherever necessary. They offered me great customer service, an affordable price, and a truly memorable day for not only my husband and I, but also our guests (many of which approached me during and after the wedding with comments such as "Perfect outdoor wedding," and "my dream barn wedding!" and "perfect Pinterest wedding!" I have Ami and her staff to thank for all the compliments, as I can't take much responsibility for any of the decorating or style of the venue! I was very happy with my venue choice and am certain the Centennial Barn will grow to be a very popular barn venue in the west-Michigan area!
