Where do I even begin ?!?! Jennifer and the team at The Finer Things Event Planning truly are the best in the business - hands down. From the beginning of our wedding planning journey , we truly did not know where to begin - we reached out to a few wedding planning services here in Columbus but Jennifer's wealth of knowledge, expertise and professionalism are what drew us to her and her planning services. Then throughout the journey Jennifer was truly there to make the event that we wanted and was so so helpful, she knew what vendors would work for us !! Jennifer is the absolute BEST and made our entire wedding planning process completely stress-free while also pulling off our dream wedding. The best part was heading into the wedding weekend and getting to truly enjoy spending the time with my friends and family because I knew Jennifer had EVERYTHING handled.

We can't say enough good things about Jennifer! To start, she is an absolute expert, and her knowledge, connections and experience were invaluable. We loved every vendor that she recommended to us, as well. There are a million tiny details that go into wedding planning and Jennifer has thought of all of them and knows how to make them perfect. Her creativity is unmatched, and whenever we mentioned wanting to do things less traditionally, she always met the challenge with enthusiasm and came up with some incredibly beautiful and unique ideas. She never made us feel like we were being difficult or unreasonable, even when we had some unconventional requests. She told us in our initial consultation that she wanted our wedding to feel very uniquely "us", and she more than delivered. We were blown away by her thoughtfulness and attention to detail, and we appreciated her input that was helpful without ever trying to pressure us to do things one way or another. Throughout the entire planning process, she was outstanding to work with. She's very responsive and available, she accommodated our tricky work schedules when it came to planning calls and vendor meetings, and she was just so much fun to work with! We are bummed that our time working with her is over! She was excellent support and would follow up with vendors as many times as necessary until we were comfortable and excited about every detail. She was also great about just checking in with us to make sure we were feeling good about everything throughout the process. While we had ideas of what we did and didn't want, we didn't always have clear visions, but she found ways to take our ideas and make them really spectacular. The entire wedding felt very personalized and unique, and so stunning and elegant. She really gets to know her clients very personally and has a talent for translating that into an event that encapsulates them perfectly. Finally, the entire planning process and especially the day of were so easy, both for us and for our families. Jennifer handled every detail and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. If anything went wrong, we never knew it, and it was so great not having to stress or worry about anything the whole weekend because we knew Jennifer had it all covered. She's the best, and we can't thank her enough for helping us plan the most beautiful and perfect day!

Our wedding day was perfect and exceeded all our expectations thanks to Jennifer and the Finer Things Event planning. We had our hearts set on having a June wedding, and so Jennifer helped us plan the wedding in only 6 months, yet every detail was attended to with great detail. She answered so many texts and emails from us throughout the planning process, helped our vision for the day come to life, and provided a peace of mind that we had a professional who genuinely cared about our wedding day. I can’t even put into words how amazing Jennifer is. To plan a wedding to begin with is difficult, to plan a wedding during COVID is a phenomenon in and of itself. Jennifer never missed a beat. She had back up venue options ready before I had even considered moving the venue. She secured all our vendors for our second date and helped make moving things around seamless. We found Jennifer through a friend who got married the year before us, we had been to the wedding at every detail was so beautiful. From the start, Jennifer is so incredibly organized and detail oriented. Every vendor that we booked would comment on how they love working her weddings because everything runs so smoothly. Of course planning a wedding in 2020 was not smooth! Our original date was in June, when we started discussing rescheduling, Jennifer spoke to our vendors and gave us the dates that we'd have available. She took care of all our rentals, scheduling and all the behind details you couldn't even imagine. On top of all the things leading up, Jen was an absolute angel on our wedding day. TFTEP team seamlessly set up an amazing and stunning ceremony space, while also flipping the entire space in just an hour to look completely transformed for our reception. Jen and her team took care of everything the day of and made it so myself, my family and my bridal party didn't have a single worry. it was the best feeling being surrounded by my bridal party and my mom especially without the anxiety of what was happening while we were trying to get ready. The day ran so smoothly knowing Jen and her team had the final details under control. When my cake fell Jen and Karen at the Hilton ran to Whole Foods and came back with the cutest impromptu cake so my husband and I had something to cut. Jennifer has been doing this for years and knows exactly what it takes to make your vision come to life. She knew the perfect vendors for everything – from florals, to hair and makeup, to all the rentals you don’t even know that you need. She also helps to make sure everything stays within budget!! We had a very specific look and pattern, and she called dozens of places to find what we needed. Every detail was immaculate. She nailed the delicate balance of providing plenty of guidance (which was usually sorely needed) without overly driving us towards decisions we may not have preferred. She was always upfront with us and never afraid to share strong stances on topics, and yet we still felt that every decision was our own. Jennifer provided a great deal of financial value in the sense that we saved money on pretty much every vendor we used because of her stellar relationships with them. However, greater than any monetary return was the peace of mind she provided throughout the entire process. With Jennifer, you knew every vendor she recommended would be spectacular. You knew all the many decisions that needed to be made would be discussed, detailed, and decided with the upmost attention, and even more importantly, be done so when they needed to be. You knew that all the wedding stakeholders (family members, wedding party, etc) would be provided all the information, guidance, and in some cases personality management required, regardless of the wildly varying types of personalities involved. You knew that the day of the wedding, she would be the first one there and the last one to leave, providing minute-by-minute coordinating and ready to handle any of the uncertainties that were certain to occur. Ultimately, you knew you were not just getting a wedding planner, but a close friend who was personally invested in the success of your big day and your happiness. I could go on and on about Jennifer’s impeccable style, professionalism, and drive. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Finer Things Event Planning. Jennifer knew the perfect vendors for our budget and style, and always had great communication between all of us to make sure our day came together perfectly! We were planning a wedding in the Columbus area from out of state and she was always very flexible on days/times to meet with us and would never turn down an extra meeting if we felt like we needed it. Although her entire team was great, we didn't meet them until the day of our wedding, and I loved that we worked exclusively with Jen through the entire planning process. I distinctly remember being a total ball of nerves and slightly panicking at our rehearsal over small things that I had forgotten and she was so calm, cool, and collected about whatever it was (I can't even remember at this point) that it set my mind at ease and I knew she was going to have everything where it needed to be. This lady can handle anything you throw at her and turn it into something even better than expected. Seriously, pick her. You won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough nice things about Jennifer and her team. Whenever people asked me how wedding planning was going, I could easily answer that I was enjoying it because Jennifer took all the stress out of it. She kept us on task by reaching out every so often with a decision or 2 we needed to make, the deadline and friendly reminders when we needed them. She has an incredible network on vendors she works with here in Columbus and her powers of coordination are top notch. Not only is she coordinating, but also doing the work. I would see instagram posts of her staining decor items or designing the name and table board. She is also creative in coming up with ways to wow your guests, like a champaign swing, a round bar (which was a stunner), roaming cocktails, ombre seating assignment board and so much more. She keeps her cool and yours, too. At the rehearsal dinner, it down-poured. But she kept everyone calm and organized, switching things up to accommodate the weather. Then on the day of the wedding, it was so hot and humid and her family was out helping us with chairs and setup. She gives her all to make your day incredibly special. I can't recommend Jennifer highly enough. She will make your wedding planning a breeze and your wedding magical!

From the day we contracted with Jennifer, she is full of life and a bundle of energy never ceased to impress us with her capabilities of bringing her ideas to the table. Her follow through was amazing from the start and up to the last minute prior to the wedding; and on Wedding day, Jennifer had total control of every detail we could think of. Jennifer was an absolutely top-notch wedding planner from our "brainstorming phase" through fastidious execution of our custom-built backyard wedding. Jennifer took every bit of stress out of wedding planning (a very impressive task) by gently reminding us of upcoming due dates for our decisions/tasks and constantly awing us with her unique and creative suggestions. Despite the many moving parts of our event-packed wedding weekend, Jennifer perfectly executed every minute detail of our plan, making our wedding PERFECT. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Jennifer was the best decision we could have ever made. She made the whole process so easy, I kid you not our day was perfect! My now husband and also live out of state and it was not problem for her. We never had to worry about a thing. We had a larger size wedding and wedding party, and not a minute was off on the timeline on the day of our wedding- the day went so smoothly! She cared about my budget and always had options and different routes to explore. Her experience shown through every selection we made together!!
