Having our wedding at the Flanders was the best decision we made!! Lisa, Molly, Joanne, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our day special and unforgettable. They made the wedding planning process easy with their list of recommended vendors and they were responsive and communicative throughout. The food is all incredible, the taste of the boardwalk at the end of the night was so unique and special! They ensured our wedding day was seamless and stress-free by handling lots of details and coordination. They even had some decor we could use instead of worrying about buying and bringing our own! The space is so beautiful and our guests all had an amazing time. The Flanders obviously hosts a lot of weddings, but they really make a point to make you feel special and taken care of. Don't hesitate to book them!!

My husband and I got married at the Flanders on 6/1/24. I cannot even begin to explain how truly amazing the staff at the Flanders were for our special day. Lisa, Molly, and JoAnn did an OUTSTANDING job to make our day literally PERFECT! Everything was basically flawless from start to finish- the tasting, the communication back and forth, dance lessons from Lisa. Lisa and Megan were my rock through the wedding planning process. I was planning from out of state and from our first meeting I knew they had it all under control. There are too many details to even count where they took care of us and made our wedding day perfect. Everything was very structured, which I appreciated. They had decor you can use if you’d prefer. The service, the food, the environment was above what we were expecting. Flanders will always have a special place in our hearts now.

Our wedding at The Flanders was amazing! From our initial meeting to the last dance, everything flowed smoothly. Lisa and Megan made the whole process seem easy. From our wedding ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception everything flowed seamlessly. Working with Lisa was like having a close friend plan our wedding. She genuinely cared about every detail no matter how small. We received so many compliments on the food! We chose the Asian station for the cocktail hour and it was a huge hit! The meals were delicious and our guests raved about the fun and yummy Taste of the Boardwalk. Our guests were impressed with the service and attentiveness of the staff. Lisa and Megan worked with our vendors to make sure our special day was perfect. They handled all of the small details that I thought we would have to handle ourselves. We truly felt like we were in the best hands and The Flanders definitely delivered. More than one guest told us ours was the best wedding they had ever attended. We felt the same! Where to begin!?! The Flanders was an absolute incredible wedding experience from beginning to end. Lisa, Megan and team were amazing to work with. The space is so different than most venues- having the dance floor separate from the dining area allowed so much space and a great experience for our guests. From the cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert + boardwalk snacks, and breakfast, the food was phenomenal! Cooking for almost 300 guests is no easy task and the chef absolutely nailed it. They provided great vendor recommendations and we were thrilled with everyone we chose! Having your reception at a hotel creates a whole new dynamic to your wedding weekend- the suites were spacious, comfortable and great to get ready in for the big day. Our guests took over most of the hotel and it was so nice to have everyone + everything in one place! Although Ocean City is a dry town- ordering alcohol was an absolute breeze and allowed up to be able to personalize exactly what we wanted. Flanders was everything we hoped for and more! We had the most amazing weekend and would recommend this venue to anyone, hands down. Thank you again for the best weekend!

FLAWLESS. Words cannot describe how amazing the staff is at The Flanders Hotel. Everything was perfect. Lisa and Megan are a dynamic duo. They were quick to respond and helped make our romantic, winter wedding vision come true. They genuinely want you and your guests to have the best day ever. They handled everything perfectly and we felt we were in the best hands. All of our guests could not get over the service, food, and attentiveness of the staff. FIVE STARS! They even packed everything up at the end of the night for us and had it waiting for us the next day and even sent some of it to our rooms. We honestly had nothing to worry about the day of our wedding, they handled everything!! The Flanders Hotel does it all and they do it WELL. If you are getting married anywhere in the Jersey shore area this is where you need to have your wedding. I am not even sure where to begin! We started months ago with Karen who made our choices and tastings seamless. She made suggestions when we were not sure of something and explained what both the bride and groom and the guests would appreciate the most. Lisa kept in touch with things that needed to be taken care of early on and never hesitated to answer our questions immediately no matter how small or inconsequential they may have been. Fast forward to about 6 weeks before the wedding. Megan, every few days, gently prodded us on what she still needed from us and a schedule for what we needed to submit. If it had not been for these constant communications this wedding would not have happened. The bride works 50 to 60 hours a week. Megan just said she understood and stayed in constant contact with us. She met with us two days before the wedding. We still had stuff that needed to be given to her and she just calmly told us all would be well. The day before the wedding came and the groom brought in his own photo booth, signing board, and scaffolding for the windows that would contain the seating charts. Everything was set up for him: a table for the signing board, a spot for the photo booth, and a discussion and great placement of the scaffolding. The windows were not finished and the bride and I were panicking. Megan and Lisa said to send them the names and they would take care of it. The bride thought she had sent them but as we came back from pictures (one hour before the reception) Lisa met us at the door to say they had not received them. Lisa and Megan supplied the bride with paper and pen and she would write down one table at a time hand it to Megan until all were finished. Megan even tried to match the bride's handwriting on the windows! Now comes the reception! Amazing! The food was exceptional along with the service. We had a raw bar that never ran out in addition to butlered appetizers and appetizer stations. The bride and groom chose a mac and cheese bar (a chef individually prepared portions of mac and cheese adding up to 10 toppings). I was skeptical but it was a hit! Our main courses were filet, Chilean sea bass and herb chicken. Everything was delicious. Every allergy was addressed even those we did not find out about until the night of the reception. The progression of events went exactly as Megan had said they would. We had to do nothing ourselves and felt like royalty with the way we were treated. In the room where we went to line up to enter the reception, was a full tray of the appetizers which I had not had time to eat and I was really appreciative that I got to finally munch on a few! I am still receiving texts and emails from our guests raving about the wedding. At the end of the wedding a group from the Flanders took all gifts, cards, left overs,etc. up to our room and even put things needing to be refrigerated in the refrigerator. There are so many more things I could say but I think I got my point across. This was the most phenomenal wedding I have ever attended because of the folks who work at the Flanders! My daughter will have this wonderful memory all of her life! One more thing, the folks at the front desk were also great: answering questions, giving out gift bags, etc.! Have your reception here. You will not regret one minute of it!

We had the most perfect, small/intimate wedding in the Garden Room on November 19, 2022. Following our church ceremony, we took photos in the promenade area which was beyond beautiful with great lighting and photo ops. We also took photos on the beach & boardwalk which gave us beautiful & sentimental shots. Following photos, we had our cocktail hour in the promenade. All of our guests LOVED the Hors D'oeuvres and platters offered during this time. We then had our dinner & reception in the Garden Room which was absolutely beautiful! Flanders decorated the space beautifully with navy blue linens, white napkins, gold chargers, and their house gold centerpieces. Our introductions and Grand Entrance were done by walking down a beautiful staircase into the Garden Room which was romantic and sweet. All of the food was very good, and we received many compliments on our wedding. Guests also LOVED the hotel rooms, especially for people with children. The suites made it so easy for guests to spend time with each other in their rooms, as they had a small kitchen & living room space. It was such a great location to have a wedding, and all of our out-of-town guests enjoyed Ocean City. I wouldn't have changed anything about my wedding and would highly recommend Flanders!!

Our wedding was an absolute dream at The Flanders! Megan and Lisa were both fantastic to work with and made the wedding planning process incredibly easy (and fun!). The facilities are stunning, every staff member was wholly accommodating and friendly, and the food beyond delicious. We highly recommend booking The Flanders for any event, especially a wedding!

We had our wedding in September at Flanders. Lisa and Karen were amazing!! It was a great setting as we had our ceremony on the beach and the reception in the Garden Room. They took care of it all! And the best part was the people. Everyone was so accommodating and so personal. They were not your typical wedding venue in the fact that they were down to earth and just wanted us to have the best day ever! All our guests stated it was one of the best weddings they have been too! The food was amazing from the cocktail hour, to the sit down dinner. I strongly recommend this venue!

Karen and her team were absolutely AMAZING with helping to plan our beach wedding at The Flanders. We had to reschedule TWICE due to COVID restrictions but never had to pay anything extra. When the big day finally came, Karen and her team were well prepared so we never had to worry about anything throughout the day/evening. Her team stopped boardwalk traffic during the ceremony procession and did a stunning job of setting up the cocktail hour/reception space. The food was bountiful and delicious with many guests commenting how it was the best wedding food they’ve ever tasted. At the end of the night, the staff even brought all our decorations up to the bridal suite which was super convenient. Thanks again for making our big day truly one to remember!

The Flanders Hotel is absolutely beautiful! The weather was perfect for our beach wedding ceremony. Karen and her staff are amazing to work with. The crystal ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious! I recommend The Flanders Hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

The Flanders Hotel is absolutely beautiful. We hosted our rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and post-wedding breakfast at the Flanders Hotel. The food is absolutely AMAZING. Karen is so great to work with. She really knows her stuff!! She had excellent recommendations and was SUPER easy to work with. She's very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and gave us honest feedback when we asked for her opinion and guidance. We opted to get the enhanced package which added several additional options to our cocktail hour, and the "taste of the boardwalk" additional dessert display. Our Cocktail hour was hosted in the Promenade and was absolutely amazing. They were even able to capture the essence of our dog in the form of an ice sculpture!! Our reception was hosted in both of the ballrooms which were gorgeous and really made our wedding feel so elegant. Our Rehearsal dinner and Post-Wedding breakfast were hosted in the Garden room. The Staff at the Flanders is amazing and everyone was so welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend the Flanders to everyone!

we got married here on 3/5/22. I wish I could give it more stars!! Everyone is still raving about our wedding; the building is beautiful, the food was fantastic and plentiful, and the day ran so smooth. The convenience of having everyone in one historical place all day was so good. None of our guests had anything to worry about. I had nothing to worry about thanks to Karen, who is just as amazing as all of these reviews say. Our wedding was truly perfect at the Flanders Hotel.

The Flanders exceeded all of our expectations! Karen, Anne, and everyone else we worked with along the way were amazing. They were detail oriented and helpful throughout the planning process. On the big day, they made sure everything ran smoothly. The chef did an amazing job with the food. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests about the food, atmosphere, and the guest rooms!

The Flanders Hotel was an absolute dream. My wedding was absolutely perfect. The beach ceremony was beautiful. The ballroom decorated just how I wished. I honestly didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day, isn't that how it should be?! Karen and her staff were so helpful in planning and there every step of the way! And best of all it was affordable! I highly highly recommend.

We got married and held our reception at The Flanders in August 2021 and our day was absolutely perfect! Karen and her team were amazing, from helping us transition to a new date following a 2020 postponement to thinking about and nailing every detail. The library where we had our ceremony and ballroom were beautiful and the service and flow of the evening was flawless. Not to mention, the food at The Flanders is the best(!) -- from the cocktail hour raw to sea bass and filet dinners; many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had! The Flanders delivered beyond our expectation in making our wedding a truly memorable event for us and our guests.

Planning a wedding from out of state can be a nightmare but Karen and Anne made it so easy! They answered all my calls and emails quickly regarding questions I had for my daughter's wedding. The quantity and quality of the food was excellent and Karen was right on top of things in coordinating the rehearsal and the actual event the day of. Her interaction with all of us gave it a more personal feel. Karen and Anne work closely with the vendors on their preferred list which made the event even more effortless - they and vendors knew each other on a first name basis. I highly recommend The Flanders!

Karen and Anne are amazing! There were SIX weddings the weekend of Oct. 8th, but I never knew. They were responsive, helpful and made planning a wedding in NJ from CA effortless. Great food (omg the filet!), beautiful historic venue and wonderful event staff - highly recommend The Flanders!

We had the most amazing seaside vintage wedding ever!! The weather was perfect in early October, and the Flanders was absolutely spectacular . Karen and the rest of the staff do a great job of organizing everything and creating your dream wedding. Not to mention, the food is incredible . The taste of the boardwalk is an absolute must , along with staying for a night in one of the penthouse suites (all are amazing) . Highly recommend .

Truthfully, this is a very beautiful venue. The food is excellent. But working with them as a vendor leaves a lot to be desired. They are not very responsive or communicative. They are also not very helpful. If you are planning a wedding for the first time and don't know where to begin, don't expect any help or communication regarding what you need to/should do. The "coordinators" are just a sales team to get you to choose them and spend with them. At the end of the day we had a beautiful wedding and they worked with us to ensure we had all we needed. But in retrospect I would not have selected this venue if I had known how much trouble we would encounter.

We had our wedding at the Flanders and it was absolutely perfect! Karen was incredible to work with throughout the whole process from our first tour until the end of our reception. She made the entire process simple and let us customize the day to be exactly what we wanted. Anne and Lisa were also amazing to work with on our wedding weekend and they made sure everything was running smoothly. On our wedding day I felt like I didn't need to worry about a single thing. We were running a little bit late, but I was never made to feel that way and the goal of everyone around seemed to be that I had everything I needed. On top of all of that, our guests could not stop raving about the food! At every event we've been to since then people still tell us how much they loved the food. Highly, highly recommend! I would trust Karen and the entire staff at the Flanders for any of my future events in a heartbeat!

We had our wedding at The Flanders Hotel and it was an absolute dream! Everything was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t change a single thing. We had to wait an extra year to have our wedding due to COVID and it was totally worth the wait!! Our ceremony was supposed to be outside on the beach and unfortunately due to weather we had to have it inside. The staff worked extremely hard to make the ceremony perfect and intimate! The food was absolutely amazing. From the cocktail hour to dinner, all the food was so delicious. Our guests raved about the food and couldn’t stop complimenting it. Our guests loved the Taste of the Boardwalk, the Raw Bar, and the Mac n Cheese bar. It was so unique and so delicious!! Karen was so awesome to work with. She is honest and will make your wedding perfect! She always made us a priority and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The head chef was also great and made sure we loved the menu for our special day. I am so lucky to have had my perfect/dream wedding at the Flanders Hotel!!

We had our wedding at the Flanders hotel and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Karen helped us plan every detail and the execution by her staff was world class. We had our wedding ceremony in the Board Room, appetizer hour in the Promenade and the reception in the Garden Room. We also had access to the tea room for our Ketubah signing. All the rooms are special in their own way - the Board Room and Promenade are like stepping back in history - truly magnificant rooms. The Garden Room was perfect for our guest count of 80. On top of everything, the Flanders provides lists of approved vendors such as DJs and Photographers. You can tell they have done their research because all of our vendors were great. We are so glad we chose the Flanders and now we will always look back on our wedding day with joy and happiness. Our guests all told us how much fun they had and how great the food was. We're already talking about coming back for our anniversary each year.

The Flanders Hotel was amazing for our wedding on June 6th 2021! Karen was amazing, she had our ballroom set exactly how I had pictured it! She took care of setting up all my centerpieces for me! Karen made our day run smoothly and everything went perfectly! It was more then we could have asked for! Karen was also amazing in helping us reschedule multiple times due to COVID and after postponing for a year, our day was indeed so special thanks to Karen and her staff at the Flanders! Karen even remembered that we had wanted mozzerella sticks at our sweat heart table! I really couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding!

The Flanders Hotel was the best decision I made for my wedding! The venue is stunning, the staff were extremely kind and made my wedding day smooth relaxing and the best it could have ever been. We originally booked the Flanders for a November 2020 wedding. Due to Covid we changed, then cancelled, then reinstated our date. Cut our guest list in half and changed our entire plan from our original. Karen, the wedding coordinator, was outstanding. She supported all of our decisions every step of the way. She was so accommodating and understanding of the stress we were dealing with. We could not have been more lucky to choose this for our venue! Finally on May 1st, 2021, with the help of Karen and the amazing staff at the Flanders, our dream wedding finally came to life! It was the most perfect day! We wished we could rewind and do it all again. Everything we truly wanted, we got, thanks to the Flanders wedding team! Our guests complimented us on everything from the beautiful atmosphere, to the food, drinks, and staff! We had the best experience and thanks to Karen and the team we won’t be remembering all of the drama! Only wonderful memories of our perfect wedding day!

We were BLOWN AWAY!!! The Flanders went above and beyond every expectation we ever had. My husband and I could not have been happier with our winter wedding. Karen and her staff are amazing. They are so easy to work with and were such a big help throughout the entire planning process. I was so worried about Ocean City being a dry town and was under the impression that getting the alcohol would be difficult. I couldn't have been more wrong. The Flanders put us in touch with Circle Liquors and we were able to serve every single beverage we wanted at our wedding. It even ended up being cheaper for us to do it this way. Circle Liquors delivered to the Flanders and picked up. We did not have to do anything other than decide what we wanted and give our guest count. Guests raved about the food for days. The space was decorated beautifully. They had two huge, real, flock Christmas trees. The Flanders put us in touch with our amazing photographer. The suites in the hotel are amazing. Having everything in one location made it so easy and enjoyable for our guests. I could go on and on. Our day could not have been more perfect. Choosing the Flanders was the best decision we made.

Jeff & I were a COVID couple who had to reroute everything as most COVID couples did this year. Karen and her team were amazing through this process, both understanding and flexible helping us work through it all. I’m happy to report we were finally able to have the wedding of our dreams, all that we planned (on a smaller scale) 9/18/20 and it was perfect. I highly recommend the Flanders as the location is beautiful, so much space for weddings of all sizes and Karen and the Flanders team did an amazing job making it perfect ❤️

We could not be happier with our wedding at the Flanders. As healthcare professionals fighting COVID-19, we just wanted to have a wedding as close as what we imagined as possible, but with all the safety protocols required to protect our elderly guests. While we downsized from 150 to 35 guests, The Flanders made every accommodation they could to make sure everyone felt safe and we had the wedding we envisioned. Karen was the wedding planner we never knew we needed! She was professional and thorough despite all the changes to our wedding. The Flanders was affordable, flexible and luxurious too. They make sure you have the wedding you deserve. From Karen, Joanne and John at the Flanders, not only did we have an unforgettable experience, but also felt safe celebrating with our guests. We cannot stop raving about how much fun we had and look forward to planning our next event at the Flanders!

Words cannot describe how amazing Karen Bergman and the Flanders were in making our special day happen. We had to reschedule due to Covid. Karen put in long hours on her own personal time to keep me updated on changing rules from the governor and options we had. Karen was going to do anything it took to make sure my husband and I had the beautiful wedding we had dreamed of. We could not have done this without her! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very accommodating. We really loved Joann, Griffin and Anita at the front desk. Will was also wonderful in making sure our reception went smoothly and our vendors were taken care of. Our penthouse was clean and spacious. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend the Flanders to all engaged couples!

Karen and her team made our wedding happen despite a pandemic. Everything exceeded our expectations of having a wedding during this time and by a hotel pool. They completely transformed the pool area into a starlit, rollercoaster-lit, outdoor wedding space. The food was excellent (I actually ate) and the staff was helpful, professional, and accommodating. It was a beautiful evening and we were blown away.

The Flanders Hotel did an excellent job working with us and hosting our wedding during the 2020 COVID Pandemic. We were forced to change our wedding date twice because of the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus. Furthermore, the state of New Jersey implemented a ban on indoor dining which meant that our event had to take place entirely outside. Karen Bergman at the Flanders Hotel did an incredible job working with us and her team at the hotel to ensure we had a beautiful outdoor wedding venue by the pool. While our wedding was not what we planned, it ended up being better than we could have ever imagined because Karen and the Flanders did such a good job walking us through every step of the way. I would strongly encourage every couple looking for the perfect New Jersey beach wedding to explore what the Flanders has to offer.

Karen, Brooke and the whole team at the Flanders did a great job in making our simple wedding, simply elegant! We were very lucky that the weather was warm & sunny, and that the coronavirus restrictions didn't begin until the day after! The Garden Room was the perfect size for us, with about 50 guests. The staff was great, anticipating our needs and even convincing us to walk down the large staircase in the room ;) Definitely recommend this venue!

I cannot recommend the Flanders Hotel enough as a wedding venue! We had the most amazing New Year’s Eve wedding there, and every single part of the day was flawless. Karen and Brooke are the most dedicated and detail-oriented wedding coordinators, who listen to your ever need and go above and beyond for you. I grew up in Ocean City and have passed by the Flanders close to 1000 times. I even had my prom there! You would think that because of the familiarity, it would have lost its charm on me but I honesty felt the opposite. I was completely enchanted! The venue is perfect the mix of opulence and grandeur with the laid-back nature of a beach town where everyone is family. There are so many options to choose from regarding ceremony, cocktail and reception space, that it can meet any vision. All of the staff are incredibly professional and highly experienced. The food is delicious and the menu is extensive enough that you can curate something for everyone. Also because you bring in your own alcohol (Ocean City is a dry town) you get to pick exactly what you want! When we ask our guests about the day, the quality of food and drink comes up first. It was also incredibly convenient for out of town friends and family, because they were able to stay at the hotel. We used the penthouse as our bridal suite which overlooked the ocean. Getting ready there was peaceful and easy. The Flanders is a the perfect canvas for any wedding, wether you're looking laid-back beach vibe or a black-tie affair.

I had the most romantic Christmas wedding at the Flanders Hotel! Karen and Brooke are amazing event planners and they guided me through every stop of the way when it comes to weddings at the Flanders. The food was the best food I have ever had, I am still getting a ton of compliments about how it was the wedding of the year! We had ice sculptures, a beer garden, a sushi bar, and beautiful real flocked Christmas trees! The Flanders is beautiful all the time but if you are having a December wedding, this is your spot.

The Flanders Hotel was practically a one stop shop for all our wedding needs! They have a beautiful venue, indoor ceremony space, which was important for our December wedding, Karen and Brooke acted like wedding planners when it came to decorations and ideas, but still allowed us to express our individuality. The staff was also magical in how they were able to take our decorations and set them up, amidst the normal wedding prep. Karen also provided us with a list of trusted vendors which cut my work load in half when it came to trying to find people. The Flanders also has an in-house salon, which made it super easy to get my hair and makeup done for the wedding, as well as everyone else that wanted to get their own hair and makeup done. The food was delicious, and the staff cared about our every need. Truly I could not imagine a better place to get married!

I don’t even know where to start. My wedding was a winter wedding dream come true. Karen and Brooke were so easy to work with and took all my visions and made them come to life. I didn’t have to worry about one thing the day of my wedding because I knew that they would make it beautiful. Not only did they make it absolutely magical they were so helpful throughout the whole planning process. My family and friends couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful it was. We had so much fun!

From the moment we saw The Flanders Hotel, we knew it would be our wedding venue. The building and all of the banquet rooms are stunning. Our wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to Karen, Brooke, and the rest of the banquet staff. They really made sure we didn't have to worry about a single thing all day. Everything we brought to decorate the space was set up by the staff even better than we had envisioned. The food was fantastic and there was so much of it! We can not thank everyone enough for really making our special day so perfect!

My gosh, where do we start? Our experience with the Flanders was nothing short of 5 star. From our first meeting with Karen to the big day and everything in between, the service was flawless. Karen (Catering Manager/Event Planner) was so congenial, helpful and kind. Her knack for planning, decorative taste and ability to bring the most exceptional experience was so impressive. Our wedding day was spectacular thanks to her help and every guest raved about the food/service. I will be recommending The Flanders to anyone who will listen, indefinitely!

I can’t even put into words how much I love the Flanders. I had my wedding on 9.21.19 and it was the best day of my life. The best food and service. Everyone is so accommodating. My guests still are raving about the servers and there experience. Karen is AMAZING. She is so attentive and made the whole experience so easy. This venue is so special to me now. It’s gorgeous inside and just so unique. I went to one venue when I was looking and it was this one and I booked the next day. I would recommend the Flanders to anyone looking to have the perfect Jersey shore wedding with a vintage antique feel. I’m still at a loss for how great the whole day was. All of my guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been too with the most amazing food!!

A year later and we still have our guests raving about the beggar’s purse pasta in rosa sauce — that’s how you know it was so good! Simply amazed by the entire team at The Flanders. The service, food, decor, and overall experience were just fantastic. Our wedding had so many personalized touches of us, and we can’t thank them enough for making our favorite town even better!

It has only been 2 days since our wedding at the Flander's Hotel and I want to let everyone know that the service and care provided throughout our whole wedding ordeal was exceptional. Karen and her assistant Gina were so easy to work with. Words cannot explain how grateful and lucky I am to be able to work them. Especially to Karen, who is one of the most fun, flexible, and patient person to work with! Our guests loved the food and everyone thought the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was perfect and it probably wouldnt have turned out that way if I didnt have it at the Flanders with Karen! Quoting from my 11 years old nephew, "F" stands for fancy. The Flanders Hotel really is a beautiful, magestic and fancy looking venue with staff that provides the best service.

My husband and I got married at The Flanders in June, and we could not have been happier with everything!!! Karen and Gina were both super helpful with planning and communicating leading up to the big day, and the day of went so smoothly. The ceremony on the beach was gorgeous, and the reception room (the upstairs ballroom with the wood flooring) was set up so beautifully. The food was delicious, and they really helped us personalize everything. I.e. they added Pirogies to our cocktail menu even though it’s not something they normally offer. Everyone working there was so kind and helpful. And honestly, for everything you get they were definitely on the more affordable side of the venues we looked at. Idk what else to say because honestly I couldn’t think of a better place to have a wedding, it was perfect! We heard so many positive things from friends and family who loved the venue too. If I could give The Flanders 10 stars out of 5 I would!

I am so incredibly taken back of the amount of time and energy this team puts into a wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the magical wedding that the Flanders put on for us! The Flanders holds a wide variety of spaces for the bride and groom to then create their own customized wedding. My husband is an event manager for his career and he is extremely satisfied with the services the Flanders offered. We LOVED working with Karen and Gina! Any time I had a question, BOOM they would respond. The team I passionate, professional and always open to talk ideas. We had live music for all of our components of the wedding and the venue was easily accessible for those vendors as well as the artist we hired. We did the taste of boardwalk table, which was a hit and also a breakfast the next day. I wish everyone can have the wedding I did. My wedding was the best night of my life and I owe that to the Flanders Hotel!

The Flanders is by far the most unique, wonderful and professional venue in which to have a wedding. Karen and her staff had everything covered every step of the way. We followed all suggestions and it turned out better than we could have imagined. It was a magical evening. Our friends are still telling us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to and how the food was so good. I can’t thank them enough for this wonderful moment in our lives.

Everything about the Flanders was great! From the first time I toured the space and met Karen, I knew that I wanted to get married here. The venue is amazing, grand, old fashioned without being dated. The food is out of this world--so many people are still raving about the cocktail hour food (get the risotto bar!) Karen and Gina were also extremely helpful with every step. Very responsive and organized, which helped with the stress of planning! They also ran a tight ship the day of the wedding. I would so recommend the Flanders and wish we could have our magical night all over again!

We got married recently at The Flanders Hotel and it was the best day of my life! Karen and team worked with me to make all my childhood OCNJ dreams come to life at my wedding. From preps pizza to oceanside views, everything was PERFECT! Karen, Jenn, and Gina are AMAZING to work with! They are responsive, eased all my concerns, and were always willing to work with me. They never answered me with a no when I was dreaming up a wedding aspect, but instead worked with me to make it happen - it was amazing! I am a control freak and was worried my day would not come to life - but Gina decorated everything just perfectly! I never even had to worry the moment the day began as everything went perfect. The venue is amazing as well. It is breath-taking beautiful with endless details. It gives an elegant but beachy vibe with the gorgeous amusement park lights in the windows of the crystal ballroom. Overal -- they provide amazing food, amazing decor and a great group of people to work with. We did the ceremony and reception here and it was perfect. Everyone had a blast and I am still getting compliments weeks later. Thank you for everything, we are so grateful we chose the Flanders for the most important day of our lives.
