We cannot say enough kind words about how amazing Justine and the TGT team were in helping make our day special. Their level of professionalism was outmatched only by their warmth and kindness, and it was obvious from the get-go that we made the right choice. Justine kept us on track, helped us roll with the inevitable last minute adjustments, and we know she did way more behind the scenes so that we could focus on having fun at our wedding. If we ever have need of any event coordinator in the future, we won't even bother looking at anyone else. We cannot recommend TGT enough!
We were totally blown away by The Get Together Events Co. from our very first intro call. We hung up confident that we were in good (fun!) hands. Justine was an absolute dream to work with. She was exactly what we needed: highly organized yet flexible, and a clear, enthusiastic communicator who managed to keep the energy up and keep us on track, all while not overwhelming us (still not sure how she did it!). Justine nudged us in the right direction, took stressful tasks off our plates, found the last-minute florist, showed up with emergency hairspray, and corralled family for photos… and did so seamlessly. On our wedding day, Justine was everywhere and nowhere – ensuring everything ran smoothly from breakfast tacos to after party tunes. We cannot recommend TGT more.
Working with The Get Together Events was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning! We worked with Lauren and Kristen for our Chicago Wedding and they truly helped make our day perfect! Working with Lauren the month of the wedding was amazing. She was extremely responsive, organized and just wonderful! Her process that she uses makes it so easy to keep updated and to stay organized. Kristen was with us on our wedding day and we could not have asked for anyone better. She was an amazing leader for the day, kept everything on time, organized and answered everyones questions (and she made it look effortless!!) Kristen truly made our day even more special. With Lauren's guidance and Kristen's leadership, we had the perfect wedding day!
My husband and I are both extremely organized, so we initially had doubts about hiring a coordinator until our Brooklyn venue required at least a day-of coordinator under their contract. We thought we could possibly get by with asking another organized friend or family member, but ultimately we found that we needed a licensed person to do this job, and we were OVERJOYED to be 10,000% wrong about our initial thoughts. YES, you need a coordinator, and YES, it should be with TGT. There were so many moments the month of where we found ourselves muttering under our breaths, “Thank god for Justine... I’m so glad we have Justine...” We couldn’t shout any louder about how much value they added to our wedding and how wonderful they were to work with.
Upon our first consultation, we were impressed by how thorough, comprehensive, and orderly Lauren was while explaining their process. They described their style as, “first one in, last one out,” and what truly cemented us wanting to hire them was their month-of “download meeting” approach — a passing of the torch which included in-depth planning documents, timeline coordination, contact sheets, decor visuals, and countless other resources. For our wedding, we worked with Justine as our lead coordinator and Jenna worked as additional help. Justine made sure we had the best experience imaginable. She is such a lovely, positive force who truly made the last month of planning easy and joyful. And Jenna was incredibly sweet and truly helped with a lot of the behind the scenes work for the day of.
We also had the unique experience of being the first wedding clients at our venue, and we had pulled inspiration for serpentine reception tables that none of our vendors (namely our event manager, caterer, rental company, or TGT) had worked with before. However once we set up our download meeting, Justine and Jenna wasted no time asking questions we hadn’t even asked ourselves up until that point and making action items to figure out how to accomplish what we were envisioning. At the same time, we didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed; they were so patient and generous with us by praising our vision, encouraging us to pursue every personable detail, and validating the wedding’s success. A week before our date, Justine told us, “We could throw this wedding tomorrow easily, and it would be beautiful.”

Hiring The Get Together Events was the best decision we made for our wedding day - HANDS DOWN. My husband and I opted to not use a planner, but we knew that with how much I would be traveling for work shortly before the wedding, we'd really need someone to take the reins to take the stress off of juggling multiple balls in the air and coordinating all of our different vendors. Enter TGT! Lauren is an absolute organization mastermind, and she strikes this beautiful balance of making sure that absolutely everything gets done and helping you fill in the gaps as needed while ensuring that the day stays wholly true to your vision. Our day-of coordinator Katherine used to live in the area we got married in, and she was so on point with all of her local recommendations - she even suggested the florist we ended up going with, and we could not have had a better experience with her! She was instrumental in ensuring that our rehearsal and our wedding day went as smoothly as possible, and her calm, kind, easy energy made all the difference when we had some last-minute snafus and disappointments. I just could not have felt more taken care of by her and the TGT team through it all. They made it happen. 10/10 no notes. You must hire them.

We cannot recommend The Get Together, and Justine specifically, enough. She made the final month of planning our wedding so much less painful, by laying everything out so clearly, breaking things down into manageable chunks, and being so responsive and flexible to our needs and questions. And then on the day itself, Justine quickly became our best friend, ensuring the day went seamlessly, never making anything difficult or stressful, and ensuring we had the most perfect day and could just concentrate on having fun! Forever thankful to Justine and the TGT team.
If you want a team of professionals to plan / run your event as diligently as they would their own, look no further. We picked TGT because our wedding venue required a coordinator. In hindsight, we would hire them 1000 times over, venue requirement or not.
From beginning to end, Lauren and Rae worked hard to understand our vision and preferences, went to bat for us, looked after the little details, and shared their expertise. In short, they were ON IT.
Aside from the stress they relieved, what was the best part of hiring The Get Together Events, you ask? Every single “when is-? what do I-? who has-? where are-? how should-?” question on our wedding day could be answered with “Rae has that covered.” Literally every question. Neither we nor our bridal party nor our family had to worry about anything outside of getting ready and being present.
Are they worth the price? Definitely. Weddings get expensive, for sure, but the peace of mind they brought us was worth every penny. Thanks Lauren and Rae for a great experience!
Lauren and her team truly saved my life. I had an unexpected family tragedy two months before the wedding and our plans needed to change rapidly. We handed things over to TGT and they made everything so much easier than we could have imagined. Lauren and our day-of-coordinator, Katherine, were both so supportive and fun. Their work allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy our wedding day. 11/10!!!!
I can't recommend The Get Together highly enough! As a producer, I had high expectations for our wedding coordinator but I was blown away by the careful attention, professional organization, and thoughtful communication of Lauren and Katherine. As soon as they came on a month before the wedding, I kept saying that things felt eerily calm and anytime I thought of something to worry about Lauren had already taken care of it. I can't believe how much effort and time they put in. The day went off without a hitch (as far as I'm aware, which is exactly what you want to say!) and we loved the kind and enthusiastic energy Lauren and Katherine brought to our planning and wedding day. We couldn't have done it without them!
The Get Together Events Co. was a dream to work with! Lauren is proactive and organized and incredibly thorough. After our first meeting her and our onsite coordinator Devon took over everything. All communication, scheduling and the day itself went seamlessly! Devon was so positive and fun to have with us throughout the day as well. I can't recommend The Get Together Events Co. enough!
The Get Together was the easiest group of people we worked with the entire wedding. Every thought that crossed my mind, I was able to verbalize and talk through with our logistics lead, Justine. Her enthusiasm for our wedding was contagious! She helped us with everything leading up to the wedding day. On our wedding day, Kate and Becca were our day-of coordinators. They made everything better than we could have imagined. They listened to what we wanted decor-wise and communicated with our venue and vendors so we were able to relax and enjoy our day before and during the wedding. The best part was that they tidied everything up for us and we didn’t have a single worry about our belongings or decor. Seriously top notch from the very first meeting to the very last email.
PEOPLE!!! I could not be more thankful I chose to work with TGT for my wedding coordination. I work in the industry and knew of a lot of great vendors to choose from (which is awesome), but I was so very pleased I landed on TGT. I've loved working with their team on the production side of things and am so happy I got to experience them from a client perspective now, too. Lauren went above and beyond to make our weekend perfect. Ultimately, she gets. things. DONE. and is so professional... But has the best attitude and energy while doing it. We worked with The Get Together Events Co. for month-of coordination leading up to our wedding in May 2024. I am not exaggerating when I say that I don't think we could have done it without them. We were not using a standard all-inclusive wedding venue for our ceremony/reception but instead opted for a church wedding with reception set up in a large pavilion outside. As such, although we secured all the vendors in advance, there was a LOT of small, and big, details that I would have never thought about that Lauren and Kate, due to their valuable experience in the business, were able to foresee, troubleshoot and execute. Following our download meeting, they hit the ground running and made every step of the way seamless so that we could enjoy our big day with no worries. If there was something that still needed to be done, they came to us with solutions already planned out, right down to working with our alcohol distributor to make sure that our margaritas were exactly what we wanted! I recommend them for any of your wedding needs.
Justine from TGT was absolutely amazing to work with! She brought our wedding vision to life and made the process so enjoyable and stress free. She was not only incredibly kind, but she was attentive to every little detail, listened to our wants, was extremely calming, and made sure the entire wedding day ran perfectly. I could not recommend her enough; I truly do not know what we would have done without her!
Hiring TGT was truly the best decision that my husband and I made for our wedding day. Our venue required a month-of-coordinator (MOC), and I'm so happy that we found TGT because the month leading up to the wedding would have gone much different if we didn't have them on our team.
We worked with Justine and Katherine, both of whom were delightful to work with from the very beginning. Justine kept us organized and on top of our to-do's during the weeks leading up to the wedding day while simultaneously ensuring that the complex logistics for our many vendors were taken care of. Whenever we had questions, she was quick to respond with the most positive vibes which helped relieve the planning stress. She was also an expert when it came to our venue, so having her guidance and knowledge was a huge help.
On the day of, Katherine was truly a beacon of light from the start of the day until the very end. She was on top of everything that needed to be done and really made sure that we stayed on schedule throughout the entire wedding day, and all with a smile! My bridesmaids were so impressed with her professionalism as well as how communicative she was throughout the entire wedding day. She really helped us to relax, and that allowed us to enjoy our wedding to the fullest.

Besides the whole “getting married” part, hiring TGT was the single best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. We reached out to The Get Together after realizing that our dream day we had planned had spun a bit off the rails, and probably required a bit of expert help to execute our vision. Immediately after connecting with Lauren and the TGT team, we felt a sigh of relief. We worked closely with them in the month leading up to our wedding to finalize all the last details — from the big stuff (“don’t forget the marriage license”) to the little details (“what are you having for breakfast?”). We’d like to think of ourselves as pretty organized people, but the attention to detail from the TGT team ensured that our day went exactly as we envisioned it without any hiccups. On the day of, our two incredible coordinators (Katherine and Jesi — we love you!!!!) flawlessly executed every moment of our day across three venues — a massive feat we never could have accomplished without them. To boot, their entire team is nothing but lovely. Their presence on our big day and the time leading up to it allowed us to really relish in what was the best day of our lives. If you’re reading this and even slightly considering hiring TGT — just do it. I promise you won’t regret it.
Going into our wedding, we did not think we would benefit that much from having a coordinator. Our venue required that we hire a day-of / month-of coordinator and we selected The Get Together because they had worked at our venue multiple times before and their professionalism was evident from the get-go. We were incredibly pleased with our selection, and definitely appreciated having a coordinator leading up to and for the day of our wedding. While we selected them many months in advance, we officially kicked off with The Get Together about a month before the big day. They provided us several detailed shared documents that we could fill out, insert questions into and they could review and respond to. They were very responsive when we had questions, and were especially helpful in taking the reins in terms of leading communication with our other vendors (DJ, florals, venue / caterer, hair, makeup). On the day-of is when having a coordinator proved really worth it. Justine was across everything, from herding people around to pictures, to ensuring we had a couple of snacks throughout the day. She was in great spirits the whole time, and everything ran like clockwork as a result. We absolutely recommend The Get Together!
We had a GREAT experience with TGT. We planned a lot of our wedding on our own by the 6-week-out mark when Justine (the GOAT) stepped in. she was able to review our ideas and use her event expertise to modify our plans, point out blind spots or things we didn't even think to consider, take over the reins, and ultimately bring together a seamless event. plus she was calm and positive, even in the face of our wackier ideas or items we still hadn't done at the last minute. she kept it fun and light but also underneath it all, really really organized with weekend homework assignments and centralized spreadsheets and word docs. we didn't stress about a thing the day of our wedding, all thanks to Justine. i really feel this was the best money spent in our whole wedding budget and would hire them again 100 times over.

Justine is the coordinator you want in your corner! She is incredibly enthusiastic, funny, and detail-oriented. We had our first intro call a month out from our wedding, and from there, Justine created a structured plan for us to follow with weekly check-ins, all of which helped put our minds at ease. If there were any surprises that came up, Justine was on it immediately.
Day of the wedding, Justine met us in the morning and was then seemingly everywhere at once, helping direct us, family, and vendors throughout the day. We received a ton of comments from family and friends about how awesome Justine was. Justine made all of the work that comes with planning a wedding so much easier; we can’t recommend her and TGT enough!
If you are on the fence about hiring The Get Together, allow me to ease your mind: DO IT! Unquestionably, you will be so happy you did. Hiring TGT was the absolute best money we could have spent on the wedding, hands down. The costs of a wedding or big event add up so quickly, and I think many people see a coordinator/planner as an area to cut costs, but I think this is a huge mistake. Julie was such an asset to our wedding and I can't imagine it without her. It was the dreamiest day and we owe it to her! Weeks later, friends are STILL saying to me, "by the way, your wedding coordinator was AMAZING!"
Julie was both our month of coordinator and on site coordinator. From the start she went above and beyond, asking us questions we would have never thought to ask ourselves. She was literally made to do this, she has "best friend" energy and is as excited about your event as you are. Right away she picked up where I left off, and just wait until you see all of the planning materials and spreadsheets. I was blown away. She took care of detailed timelines, vendor contracts, payment schedules, and kept us on task for all of the little projects and elements we needed to complete. Alleviating some of this logistical stress was invaluable to us in the final weeks leading up to our wedding.
The day of, she was there when you needed her and unseen when you didn't. When little things went wrong, as they always do, she made sure we didn't know until we absolutely needed to, and she had already fixed the problem. We had one slight mishap that would have put me in tears if I had known and had to deal with it myself, but by the time Julie told me she had already fixed it and it was no big deal at all. Not to mention the genuine positive attitude and can do energy she maintained throughout the long day. Seriously, run don't walk to hire TGT. And if you're in NYC, I hope you get to work with Julie, she's truly a gem!
My wedding would not have turned out so perfectly if it weren’t for Julie. I was on the fence about hiring a month-of coordinator but several of my vendors recommended this company very highly, they clearly have made a name for themselves in the industry! Julie helped us every step of the way and took so many tasks off our plate. She is warm and confident which made us feel very taken care of during what is typically the most stressful time of wedding prep. On the day of she was indispensable in organizing all of our vendors and guests. We were rained out of our original ceremony and cocktail hour locations but this wasn’t an issue at all because we agreed on a rain plan in advance and all of the vendors were given that plan ahead of time as well so it was seamless. Julie kept every element on schedule and prepared us for what we would need to do and when. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator/planner for your whole wedding planning, month-of, or day of I can’t emphasize enough that this is probably the best money we’ve spent on any part of our wedding. During the actual event my husband and I were totally stress-free and able to just focus on getting married and having an amazing party instead of fretting over logistics. With Julie’s expert help we were able to just enjoy our special day and the happy memories we have now are priceless.

Looking back on my wedding, this planning/wedding coordinator service was the absolute best thing I spent my money on. They thought of all the tiny details I was missing, helped me with suggestions, and then coordinated the wedding. Rae was an absolute LIFESAVER the day of the wedding. Anything I had questions on, she was there. If I needed something, she was there. During the evening, she loaded things we didn't need anymore into the car. The attention to detail and professionalism was amazing. Thank you!

The planning process can be so fraught yet TGT brought excitement, charm, calm steadfastness, and sincere JOY to the table. They specifically helped with our American reception some months after our international ceremony. We were exhausted after a year+ of decision-making, and the processes TGT have in place made the whole thing go over so smoothly.
Last but not least, every snafu big or small we threw their way was met with the utmost professionalism and seriousness and solutions were almost immediate (e.g., makeup artist agencies canceling last minute! not knowing anything about floral arrangements!)
We worked with Justine Salata primarily for our wedding. Justine did an absolutely incredible job managing every aspect of the wedding and reporting it out to us, every step of the way, in a format that was concise and simultaneously all-encompassing. She and The Get Together Events Co. as a whole share a passion for wedding planning and management that is evident in the work they do and the way they do it. She was a blast to work with the entire time, which was impressive given the amount she was covering, especially the day of the wedding. There were so many moving pieces, and she managed them seemingly effortlessly and with positivity the whole time. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are skilled at what they do, they're affordable, and they have a good time doing it (which means you will too).
I truly can not say enough about how helpful Lauren and her whole team at the Get Together Events was. I don't think I could've survived wedding planning without all of the great tools that were provided to us. Anything we threw at her she figured out how to execute quickly and without us having to take something else on our plate. Our entire wedding day went so smoothly and I know The Get Together Events was an essential part of why that was. I'm telling all of my engaged friends to use this planning team both because they're incredible but also so I can work with Lauren again!
If you are looking for a wedding coordinator at literally any venue in Nashville, New York or beyond, seriously do not hesitate to hire TGT! As someone who is an event planner, I cannot recommend their team enough. Lauren, Justine, and Laura were unparalleled in their communication, energy, problem-solving skills and overall coordination. I am typically an extremely anxious and OCD person, and I was so calm on my wedding day because I trusted them 100% and they definitely exceeded all of my expectations. And they had never even worked at my venue before!! All of this makes TGT the best team of wedding coordinators and honestly the best kind of personalities that you would want to work with when planning your big day!!

As our logistics lead, Lauren was very organized and prompt to respond to our many questions. She also brought great energy and made the entire process a lot of fun for us. As much as we tried to keep our wedding relatively simple, there are just so many details to consider. Without Lauren's support and good vibes, we would've surely felt overwhelmed. She truly took the logistical tasks off our plates so that we could focus on the creative-related tasks, and consistently kept us on top of what needed to be done.
Grace was our onsite manager, and similar to Lauren, she brought tremendous energy and attention to detail. She was a big part of why our wedding turned out so successfully not only because she handled the logistics and vendor communications so well, but also because she was simply a joy to work with.
It's clear that Lauren and Grace take great pride in their work and make things enjoyable for all. To all future married couples, we highly recommend working with The Get Together Events.
I could not recommend TGT highly enough. Everything about my experience with them completely exceeded expectations! As a TV producer, I am a very detail-oriented person who is well versed in producing live events. The TGT team totally spoke my language and overcommunicated about every aspect of the planning. To add on to the complications, our event was 100% DIY -- raw space, different vendors for every single element. TGT didn't miss a single detail. They work completely over Google Doc which was incredibly collaborative and provided for fantastic workflow. They responded to and addressed every single detail and question, absolutely nothing slipped through the cracks. TGT is perfect for couples who want a DIY process (ie don't need a planner), but want the guidance of industry insiders. BOOK THEM!
I cannot thank The Get Together Events more for ensuring a seamless, stress free, absolutely perfect wedding day! Julie was an incredible coordinator, was extremely communicative, friendly, funny, and overall such a joy to partner with! I loved all of the formal documentation that we collaborated on, it was so easy to know how we were progressing each week leading up to the wedding. I’m a pretty organized person and love planning however I knew I needed someone to help stitch together final details and ensure it was all executed flawlessly day of — and Julie absolutely nailed it!! I was so at ease and present on my wedding day (which isn’t easy as an anxious perfectionist) and Julie assuaged all concerns… even did a magic rain dance to ensure the thunderstorms held off and we could keep the roof open during the ceremony (at the Wythe) ha! TGT is the best money you’ll spend on your wedding, guaranteed.
I knew when I started wedding planning that I wanted a Month-of-Coordinator on our side! It was an extra expense for us, but one that I knew would take away some stress on the day of. Little did I know, that working with Justine and Lauren of TGT, would become the single best thing I did to set our wedding day up for success! Justine did more behind the scenes than I could have ever imagined, and was there every single step of the way, with helpful plans, lists, constant reassurance and supportive words. Not only did she take what felt like the weight of the world off my shoulders, she was a sounding board for worries and ideas, and my biggest hype-gal! She was by my side when I wasn't feeling well, and executed a last minute wardrobe alteration. She truly went above and beyond to give us the best day ever, and I could go on and on (and in tears!) talking about how amazing she is, and how relieved I felt the whole month leading up to our wedding, knowing we had her support. Julie's project management of vendors, assigning helpful "weekend homework" , to coordinating with wedding parties and VIP's and helped us keep track of all the moving pieces leading up to the wedding.
Lauren's incredible day of coordination of the wedding was beyond outstanding. She was always two steps ahead of any questions we had and kept everything in order so that we can fully enjoy the event.

My husband and I were hellbent on planning our wedding ourselves to save cost and decided to invest in a month-of coordinator to hand things over to as the wedding got closer and we couldn’t have possibly made a better decision than The Get Together Events. Specifically, Justine Salata was an absolute superstar in keeping everything organized, getting us whatever we needed and, most importantly, keeping things running smoothly on wedding day. From the moment we each respectively stepped foot at the venue to the moment we left, she was there making sure everything was running smoothly and giving directions to those who needed it. We’ve been telling everyone this, but we could not have had as magical of a wedding as we did if it wasn’t for Justine and TGT. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Justine’s energy throughout the entire day was so positive and inviting and made for a completely stress-free atmosphere for my husband and I. TGT month-of coordination was one of the most important decisions we made for our wedding. The primary virtual meeting we had with Lauren and Justine was thorough and addressed so many details we would have never thought of. This initial meeting helped us get organized and fine-tune the details of the weekend.
Justine was our main logistic lead (and the PERFECT coordinator), both in the lead up weeks and on the big day. Her positive energy made us feel so relaxed throughout the process so that we were able to enjoy our special day how we envisioned! There are no words to describe how thankful we are that we met Lauren and her team! We actually met Lauren and her then fiance at a tasting for our caterer. Little did we know that through the tasting, we found our month-of coordinator! After months of struggling trying to plan and coordinate ourselves, along with miscommunication with some parties, Lauren and Raegan swooped in and saved the day! They took all of the worries off our hands and literally made magic happen. From calls with vendors, endless Google Doc edits, and emergency texts with urgen thoughts and concerns, they helped us through it all! 5/5. TGT is the best investment in your wedding – even more so than the venue or the details. If there is anything my wife and I would’ve reconsidered for our wedding, it would have been to work with Julie, Grace, and Lauren the second after I proposed. This team in one month, organized and remedied our year-long chaos, and we actually went into the wedding truly stress-free. On wedding day, the team’s preparation and experience really shone, and things that would’ve been an issue were rearranged and managed so flexibly that the whole day felt as perfect as we could’ve hoped for. I saw another review when we did our research that stated working with the TGT was like having “fairy godmothers”, and I couldn’t agree more. What they do is truly magic – with a smile.
The Get Together Events team is amazing! Julie and Lauren were so helpful through all of the planning stages - with their speedy, professional email responses and amazing problem solving skills, we knew we were in great hands from the first day they came on board. With our busy work schedules, we weren't sure if we could keep up with all of the details that need to be ironed out in those final weeks leading up to the wedding - thank goodness for Julie! Julie brought everyone together on the same page and all of our vendors raved about how great she was to work with. Wow wow wow. Can't recommend The Get Together enough. Julie made it possible for us to feel so taken care of and stress free for our wedding weekend and the month before. She coordinated our welcome event and the wedding day. She's so organized and is the best communicator. She makes sure you think of everything in advance so you can have the most fun and works behind the scenes to ensure everything goes seamlessly. The day of she incredibly got us, our families and our niece and nephew through a rehearsal in ten minutes. She takes charge in the most unassuming, graceful and fun way! She'd always come to check in on us and our families to make sure we were good - she had scissors in her handy dandy toolkit to help me with my dress, she'd bring us water, food and drinks, she made everything look and flow amazingly. Honestly the best guest that we couldn't have lived without. Literally told her I love her at the wedding. Can't say enough incredible things! Also shout out to Liz, Julie's assistant for the wedding day, who popped in seamlessly and was so easy and fun to work with!
I can’t say enough good things about GTE, they were easily one of the best hirers we had for our wedding. Lauren and specifically Justine were an absolute dream team who immediately jumped in and got started coordinating with all of my vendors and actually working hard to already have questions answered before I or any of my vendors came up with them. Leading up to the wedding I felt extremely organized and extremely stress free. Justine was patient when decisions took me longer then they should and was prepared with every different wedding prep list you could need. Day of, our wedding was a dream and Justine handled every annoying variable that was planned and unplanned.
I am a very organized and detail oriented person who enjoys party planning and I still felt that were absolutely necessary to have. My recommendation would be to not have a wedding without them. I can’t emphasize this enough!!
The Get Together was far and away the best money we spent on our wedding; we know this for a fact because my now-wife and I could not stop saying it to each other throughout the entire stressful processes.
To say they are organized is an understatement. On our first call with Lauren and Justine, we started to describe the layout of our venue and before we even finished they said, “Oh don’t worry, we already did a site visit last week and are in contact with the manager.” That was just the first in a long, long line of them being a step ahead. Lauren planned everything to a tee, was in touch with all our vendors on our behalf, coordinated everything beautifully and genuinely asked how we were doing several times a week.
On the day of the wedding, Justine was simply flawless. First of all, her energy was sensational. Her excitement was contagious and made us feel giddy. One of our niece’s described her as ‘a human exclamation point’! She orchestrated our non-traditional venue’s ceremony brilliantly, got our rowdy bridal party through the rehearsal with humor and kindness, and came up with solutions to in-the-moment issues flawlessly and with a smile.
They anticipated needs before we even knew we had ones. They provided solutions we didn’t even know existed yet and happily pivoted when we had our own ideas/suggestions. It was like working with fairy godmothers. Planning a wedding is so beyond stressful (and we did a small one!), but do yourself a favor and hire TGT– you don’t even know how badly you need them. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
Hiring The Get Together Events was hands down, without a doubt, THE BEST decision we made when wedding planning. We reached out to them about a year before our wedding, knowing that they specialized in month of and day of coordination. Many folx recommended that we invest in a day-of coordinator, and we were intrigued by the extra support TGTE would offer in the 30-ish days leading up to our wedding. When we tell you that this decision paid off in spades, we really mean it. Keep reading to see how they worked their magic and helped us pull off a PERFECT day.
The first call: TGTE kept us on track starting the month before our wedding with our download meeting, and we instantly knew we were in good hands with the vivacious, supportive, friendly and enthusiastic Justine, Katherine, and Lauren. They displayed not only deep knowledge (answering our questions about venue timing, who to tip) but also supernatural intuition, jumping in with smart suggestions (like a non-cheesy way to honor our parents in our DIY ceremony). I can't spoil all the tips and tricks that they offered, but just know that you will be in excellent hands if you, like us, felt good going into your wedding vision but wanted a sounding board, and planning partner.
The lead up: All throughout the month, Justine was the person in the background emailling vendors, confirming details, and dolling out homework. You know you've found an amazing partner when, after the wedding, you actually miss the *ding* of your inbox telling you your coordinator has another task/question/follow up item. I have never looked forward to "homework" so much in my life, because working with TGTE felt fun and supportive all the way through. During our time working together, we created a seamless timeline and various documents that would keep our family, friends, vendors and selves informed of what to expect during the day.
THE BIG DAY: Katherine was our on sight support, and we had
If you're a couple with relative confidence in meeting and she was everything you could want in an on site contact. She did everything from help set up our decor, track down missing items, fix a wobbly plant sign, whisk us away right after the ceremony so we could catch our breath and do a private happy dance, and be the point person for any questions from our VIPs and vendors. I'm not even close to listing all that she did and managed to pull off for us, but we will always remember every detail and be forever grateful.
BOTTOM LINE: If you are a couple with relative confidence in your ability to plan, make decisions, book vendors, and have a general idea for how you want your wedding to look, feel, and be remembered, you will still be served well by hiring TGTE and having caring, vibrant, superb thought partners and boots-on-the-ground support to help you take your vision across the finish line, and beyond your wildest expectations. We cannot recommend TGT enough!! Everything at our wedding went perfectly, all because of them. We used them for month-of coordination, and it was such a relief to hand off the planning right at crunch time. They thought of everything, including things we would have never considered. Julie made incredible documents that kept us organized and sent weekly to do emails to help prevent us from feeling overwhelmed while still keeping us on track. We wish we hired them to plan the whole wedding, it would have saved us a lot of stress and anxiety! Justine and Katherine were incredible day of, and made sure that we and our guests had everything taken care of and that everything was running according to schedule. Having TGT as a month-of-coordinator was easily THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. If you had to prioritize one thing, it should be to have TGT on your side for the big day. There were so many little details and activities I had planned throughout the day and this team executed everything FLAWLESSLY. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing during the weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful!
Justine was our logistics lead and when I tell you she is a superhero, I truly mean it. No question is too big or too small for her. She was the main contact for all of my vendors and also put together a schedule that had listed every little thing that was going on inside my brain. It was AMAZING. Whenever I had a question, I knew I could go to her and she would get it answered as soon as she could. Whenever I had a random thought or last minute idea I wanted to capture, she was already on it. She is truly so great and I wish everyone I ever worked with could be like Justine.
During the rehearsal and wedding day, our onsite manager was Kristen. If you ever have her as your onsite manager, just know that you are in THE BEST hands. I will admit that I was a bit nervous that some things would be lost during knowledge transfer, but Kristen DID NOT MISS A BEAT. Everything went so smoothly and according to plan. As a very meticulous planner, that’s all I could ever ask for. On top of that, she is also just the sweetest human alive! If you get to work with Kristen, you will absolutely love it! In addition to Kristen, we also had help from Julia throughout the day! She was so great to work with and was super helpful when anyone from our wedding party had small or random questions!
TGT truly gave me the dream team for my wedding and I am forever grateful. If you hire TGT for your wedding, I know you’ll also feel the same way!

I can't say enough good things about Julie, Lauren, and team for helping us push through the final stretch of our wedding planning process. We had hired a full service wedding planner, who at the last moment had to bow out of helping us due to a family emergency. She connected us with TGT crew and I can not say enough good things about the process. From the download meeting though our wedding day Julie and team were so helpful for my many questions. WOW. The Get Together Events Co. team is amazing. Their process is seamless, convenient and efficient. Each couple receives a Logistics Manager (pre-wedding lead) and an Event Manager (day-of lead). Together, these two make sure every detail of your wedding runs smoothly. I would hire them again and again.
The process begins with a Download Meeting 30 days out. This is a two hour video call where you get to explain everything about your wedding, and hand it over to their team to take it over the finish line. They review all of your docs and provide invaluable feedback that take your wedding day from good to GREAT. Below are a couple of stand out examples. I could go on and on about how absolutely wonderful Lauren, Tori and the whole crew were during our wedding.
Examples: (1) My floor plan for the reception was not utilizing the space and florals in the best way. Lauren drafted a new plan that flowed a lot better and we were able to better utilize all the rentals I'd ordered. (2) I didn't think to add mini arrangements on the cocktail hour tables, or offer seated tables for our older guests. Lauren suggested adding bud vases and a couple of cafe tables, and both were a huge hit and pulled the space together. (3) At the end of the night, there were a lot more boxes/items to go back to our house than intended due to a family miscommunication. Tori ensured everything was handled, told my MOH, and I was none the wiser, galavanting off to my reception exit.
Their attention to detail, quick responses and solutions, jovial demeanor and all-around loveliness made my wedding the absolute best. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I should start by saying my partner and I are extremely detail-oriented and were prepared to plan every detail of the wedding together, and in-spite of this, working with Kate and Lauren at The Get Together Events Co. have been 100% worth the investment, and honestly enhanced our experience leading up to the month of and were singularly responsible for helping us through the final hurdles and managing the day! Kate and Lauren were responsive, kind, fun, and actively engaged throughout the process, and helped level us even through some stressful moments. At a month out when Kate and Lauren took over, everything about the planning and process became much easier to manage, with Lauren providing us clear tasks, reminders, updates, and taking over all the communication with vendors, this allowed us to focus entirely on managing our families and friends and preparing for the day. On the day, Kate was everywhere! Without a doubt our wedding would not have come together to be the best day of our lives without Lauren and her team!
