Look up MC Lars, Schaffer the Darklord, Captain Dan & The Scurvy Crew, Mega Ran, MC Frontalot or mc chris (just to name a few) and give them a listen - you'll thank me later. I enjoy a day at the theme parks and one weekend a year I attend a cosplay convention called Megacon; my past costumes have been Nyan Cat, Grumpy Cat, She-Ra Princess of Power, Princess Peach as well as Wendy from Wendy's.

She took the time to get to know us and created a ceremony that was completely us — personal, meaningful, and filled with just the right amount of humor and heart. Catherine wrote a draft of our script and emailed it to us a bit late. We made some edits and sent it back at 8am when it was due the night before. Her reply was “I’ll see if I can get to it. It was due yesterday.” We never heard anything further. We had an outdoor venue and because of hurricane Milton damage the park was closed. We found a second venue and we emailed all the vendors and Catherine replied she was in. Then that vendor fell through and we frantically searched and found another. Notified all the vendors again and never heard from Catherine. No reply to emails, no answer to phone calls. Finally the caterer called to verify and Catherine snipped at her saying “why are YOU calling me?” And “what makes you think I wouldn’t be there?” Ummm, maybe because you never answered??? On the day of the wedding a call to her went unanswered. The ceremony was to start at 11am and at 11:06 she came around the corner and said she had been on site for more than 15mins talking to another vendor. She did read the script as we had written it, with the exception of calling Vitambi Springs “Vitamin B” three times.

Working with Catherine; The Ginger Officiant was great! From the beginning it was easy to get into contact with her and schedule a time to chat. Catherine was so kind and really cared about getting to know us as a couple so that the ceremony was personal to us. Prior to the ceremony she sent over a script for us to review and share what we wanted to be edited. She also provided additional readings and ceremonies for us to choose from to add. I found this helpful and it also allowed us to create a ceremony that would best reflect us. On the day of the ceremony she was dressed professionally, early, and ready to start as soon as we said it was time. We were so happy for Catherine to officiate our special day, she did an amazing job and I would for sure recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant.

I know many advice columns say not to go with the first officiant you talk to but we didn’t want to talk to anyone after her. Believe me this is the one.

Catherine (The Ginger Officiant) was absolutely marvellous. She was engaging but not too pushy. She understood us, and understood what we wanted. We were from out of town - her tips on managing the registration process remotely was immensely helpful. She understood we wanted a low key elopement and was able to support us, whilst still making it a very special event. We flew in to Orlando and were married during the freak cold spell in December 2022. The venue for the ceremony was changed from an outdoor to an indoor event at the last minute. So glad Catherine kept her cool and winged it with us. Thank you so much Catherine!

Catherine was absolutely wonderful to work with! We found her almost two years before our wedding actually happened and over those 2 years she met with us via zoom and sent over countless revised copies of our ceremony script. We loved working with her and our wedding day was a dream! We had some laughs and our guests enjoyed all the added details to our ceremony. What can we say about The Ginger Officiant that all of our vendors didn’t already say to us about her. She’s absolutely amazing! Every vendor we spoke to was excited for us that she was going to officiate our wedding. She truly got to know us and made sure that our wedding represented who we were as people. Although we opted for a more elegant traditional style wedding, Catherine will do dressed up themed weddings, theme park wedding, whatever you need. She truly does your wedding, not just weddings!

When we first met Catherine, we were at an open house at our venue. We stumbled across her booth and she had a letter board sign that read “The Ginge Officiant” at some point she had lost the “R”. When my husband and I looked at it she said “I guess I’m the Ginge Officiant now”. From there we chatted and absolutely fell in love with her quirkiness and authenticity. If you’re thinking about having Cathy as your officiant, the answer should be YES OF COURSE. So many of our guests told us how much fun they thought our ceremony was and when I wasn’t crying from the emotions of it all, I was laughing along with them! Cathy really truly makes such a wonderful personal script that I will never forget and even after the ceremony she was such a rockstar and hung around while the chaos of a million photos ensued. While our ceremony was beautiful, she did not sign our marriage license which was extremely inconvenient for us. She had to drive back to us to sign it, after we drove all the way to get it finalized and they told us it was blank. She did not seem to take it very seriously. After the amount paid I expected more professionalism.

We were most anxious trying to find an officiant for our wedding. It’s such an important role and it’s so daunting trying to find someone who will compliment your ceremony in a way that is impactful while also retaining who you are as a couple. Catherine is the absolute best. Hands down. Catherine does a couple phone/video meetings to get to know you as a couple and asks for an optional questionnaire if you have time to fill it out. This just helps her create a ceremony script that will be unique and special to you as a couple. She also has great recommendations for different aspects of the ceremony; we ended up doing a nice unity ceremony that helped add to our ceremony. Catherine allows you to change anything in the script you want and offers a lot of customization. In the end we had a beautiful ceremony script that was perfect for us. She did such a great job that we had multiple guests ask us if Catherine was one of our personal friends. We cannot stress enough how great of a job she did with our ceremony and how relaxed and at ease she made us feel throughout the process. If you are looking for an officiant you seriously need to consider hiring Catherine Pick. She is incredible and we cannot thank her enough for making our special day the absolute best it could have been!

Catherine had the monumental task of reading a ceremony that was written by my Uncle who passed just a few months prior to my wedding. She was poised, and conveyed my uncle's words in the most perfect way. We were hesitant to hire someone to read my uncle's ceremony, but Catherine absolutely delivered and was amazing! Catherine was so wonderful to work with. She explained the whole legal process in a level of detail that made me feel very comfortable, was prompt to reply to emails, and wrote the most wonderful ceremony script after just a couple video calls with us. She sent reminders of when we needed to do our legal paperwork, and on the day of, checked in with us and made sure everything was in order. Our ceremony was beautiful – and funny! – and everything we wanted. We got so many compliments about our ceremony being “exactly like us” and my mother was so impressed with her she’s going to tell all of her friends about Catherine too! Catherine also took care of mailing our witnessed paperwork in to the County for us, so we literally had nothing to worry about but just went blithely off to our honeymoon knowing that everything was handled!

Oh, how we love you, Catherine! She is amazing! She was amazing, fun, and easy to work with for our wedding as our officiant and for the wedding planning journey! She did her best to help destress about the wedding planning journey with each time we would chat with her. She did that for us and our guest! We loved working with Catherine! Our venue hosted a wedding vendor show, and I made a list of the officiants who would be attending so I could look up their websites. You can instantly tell from Catherine's website that she is awesome, hilarious, and professional. She was the first officiant we spoke to at the vendor show and we liked her instantly. The booking process was very easy, and we were able to secure her attendance for our rehearsal date as well. Catherine took the time to get to know my husband and I, and put up with our ten thousand ceremony script re-writes (the last one literally two days before the event...whoops). She made our ceremony personal and beautiful, and helped it flow perfectly from start to finish. She also snuck an amazing photo of my husband and I while we were doing newlywed photos which I'm just in love with! We used Catherine as both our Officiant and day of coordinator. She has a great way of taking the stress away from the day making sure everything runs smoothly. We had a venue that had very specific requirements of the coordinator and Catherine was more than willing to make sure all the requests were met. She helped set up our decorations and wrote a beautiful wedding ceremony script for us making sure to make it personalized for us. I can't say enough good things about Catherine. not only was our ceremony personal and just what my husband and I wanted, But we use Catherine as our coordinator and when I say she went above and beyond I absolutely mean it. A big selling point for us was that Catherine came with a sense of humor. We wanted our wedding to be the perfect balance between traditional, funny and authentic. Catherine did just that. Her speech was absolutely perfect and she was even willing to add a few extra things in that we wanted. We’ve gotten so many compliments that our ceremony felt so personalized and a perfect reflection of ourselves and our love for each other. I’d highly recommend Catherine to anyone! We are so happy that we were able to book Catherine as our officiant and day-of coordinator for our wedding! She was very responsive from the beginning and so fun to talk with. Our first conversation with her before we booked was over an hour long! She is very funny and personable and relatable. Catherine got to know us and wrote an amazing ceremony script. We received tons of compliments on the script and her delivery of it! She suggested a unity ceremony to bind our love and we chose one that felt right for us. Catherine helped all the guys with their boutonnières, helped me with my earrings, communicated with all vendors and helped make the day as smooth as possible. She helped us stick to our timeline and navigate issues that came up. She constantly checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Catherine is one of a kind and we are so happy she was a part of our day!

Catherine was such a pleasure to be able to work with! She made it fun, personable and so easy on our big day (12/11/21)! I am so pleased with how everything turned out from start to finish, we had so many guests tell us how wonderful our ceremony & officiant were all night long!!! I can't recommend Catherine enough, she's the best! :)

Catherine was amazing! She was so easy to work with. She was very quick to respond, great to talk to on the phone about our ideas, and had a script ready for us very promptly. When I requested a few minor changes (the script was amazing to begin with, and even included a reference to our cat!), she updated it super quickly. The day of, she showed up a little early and it was great to finally meet her in person! She is so funny and makes you feel comfortable immediately. Our ceremony was absolute perfection. She was very professional, sincere, and managed to be just the right amount of silly. I would highly recommend Catherine!
