We did the ceremony and reception here- the venue was gorgeous and the staff was great! The food was perfect and actually just everything was amazing I have no negative comments. It's definitely one of the cheapest options I saw when I was looking for places in the area, and for what you get for the price it's amazing.

My husband and I searched for a venue for quite a while until we found the heathman. The price of the venue was a fourth of most of the places in Portland and the venue was beautiful! We worked with Rachel and she was beyond helpful. I don't know what I would have done without here. The one thing that really caught our eye was how beautiful the venue was. It had such a beautiful rustic look, all we had to do is decorate the tables... a plus, it does not have ugly carpet like most venues did!

The staff were all really great to work with. The cost was reasonable and the food upscale. They included the largest suite in the hotel for having booked our event there, and even comped us the night before because so many of our other guests booked rooms. The lobby is stylish and relaxing with a piano and a big fireplace and my guests loved having cocktails after the event was over. Our wedding was at Christmas time and they decorate it to go wtih the lodge theme of the hotel perfectly. They also have an indoor spa and pool that the out of town kids loved in December!

We used a private room at The Heathman for our rehearsal dinner. They took excellent care of us. Food was fabulous, and we have individualized menus as a souvenir for scrapbooking. We also spent our wedding night there. It was wonderfully romantic - complete with champagne and rose petals strewn from the door to the bed. I couldn't ask for a better experience

nice and close venue. wish they had windows for natural light. worked well on making adjustments to bill on suspicious add ons.

We had some issues with the venue before the wedding, but the day of was perfect. The staff was great. We used both ballrooms which were set up exactly how we wanted. It is a great place to have an event because all your accommodations are right on site. Our honeymoon suite was decorated with rose petals and had a bottle of wine with treats.
