The Highland Lodge

Here at Highland Lodge we aim to offer amazing value for the experience of a homey, carefree weekend feel, along with all our great amenities on site. We are situated on Caspian Lake with the only private ( and sandy! ) beach on the water. Equipped with boats, paddle boards, beach equipment, etc. it's a great place for guests to gather, relax, and enjoy each others company when the weather is nice. We are also at the base of the gorgeous Bar Hill Nature Conservancy, which offers beautiful, panoramic mountain views at the top of the 1 mile hike. In the Spring, our hills are covered in purple and pink lupine fields which are gorgeous. In the Summer the lack of humidity means the party can last all day and all night without anyone's hair frizzing up. In the Fall the trees and mountains are glowing shades of red and orange. The Winter is beautiful and in Vermont everything is covered in a blanket of white snow for months on end. Our historic Farmhouse Lodge is over 150 years old- featuring ten bedrooms inside, and ten additional cottages behind us that offer privacy and more independence. Collectively we can comfortably sleep 70-90 guests overnight with charming vacation home and air b n b's situated all around us. We have a full bar, 60 person dining rooms, three living areas, a game room, and a wrap around porch with beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
