AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! It was an absolute pain dealing with the jewelry exchange and all of their employees even the STORE MANAGER! I bought my engagement ring at the Jewelry Exchange in Livonia. I had it sized down less than one size a couple weeks after I bought it and asked them to assure that all the diamonds and prongs were tightened after so they did not fall out. This was NOT done and the next day diamonds were falling out of my ring. I took it back to have the diamond replaced and that's what they did. Upon receiving the ring back it was clearly noticeable that the replacement stone was not the same size, not the same color, nor the same clarity and it did not match the rest off the ring at all. So once again I had to make the hour plus drive out to the store to have them fix it again. Upon arriving the store manager Mark fought me about the diamond and said they couldn't place a bigger stone in the ring. After explaining to him that was a bs answer because the ring came with a bigger stone in it he agreed to change it again. So after thinking my ring was finally done correctly I get home just to find that all Mark instructed the jeweler to do was switch the wrong diamond they placed in from the halo and place it into the band. Now the halo has the right diamond but the band still has the wrong color and size diamond on it. The problem still exists now just in another spot. I will never ever give any of my business to this sleazy establishment again and I will forever talk down about the entire business to everyone I know and on every possible review outlet on the Internet. Starting from the management down the jewelry exchange is an absolute joke! I want to stress again that my ring is a month old and my fiancee and I haven't even had the chance to take our engagement photos and our ring is ruined. All because of the jewelry exchange in Livonia and their carelessness and sleaziness. Sincerely, A pissed off customer

The jewelry factory in Livonia was great. We were looking at rings and the staff actually showed use other rings that were at a lower price but looked better than the ones that were more expensive. They really make sure you get good quality jewelry and they teach you how what the different grades of diamonds.

My Fiance and I went here to create my engagement ring. We picked our center stone, the ring setting, and they did the rest. We got a great quality and larger diamond for less than Shopping Mall rings. I highly recommend this company because they have no over head. They own the building and the land they occupy and their workers are not paid based on commission, which they will always give you their honest opinions.

After a mishap with my wedding band with a different vendor, I was left just days before my wedding without a ring! We went to The Jewelry Exchange before trying other known retail chains. I must say we saved ourselves a lot of time, grief and mileage. I found the perfect wedding band and had it sized on site without all the middleman crap

My fiance designed my engagement ring at the Jewelry Exchange of Bethesda, and raved about their customer service. Obviously, the result was gorgeous, so we went back to shop for our wedding rings. They were so patient and accommodating. They spent the time looking for a great fit, and understood the budget limitations that we had. For example--I chose a ring that needed re-sizing, and there was a considerable upcharge for it that had just gone into effect the week before. The salesman apologized profusely that he could not waive the fee, but it was a policy that he had to enforce. It was clear that he did not want to have to charge me, but I understood! It was nice of him to be so apologetic. Definitely go here for a great value and great service.

We got my rings(brides) from The Jewelry Exchange. My husband had my ring made special with Amethyts on the side of the solitaire diamond. They did a beautiful job. Then when I went in with him to pick my wedding band they were great with the fact that I wanted alternating amethysts and diamonds in a channel setting. We specified which stone we wanted where and they were so flexible with doing that. They also were really reasonable in price.

My fiance got a great deal on my engagement ring and we went back for both our wedding bands. The jeweler gave us awesome deals on both. We were able to do a payment plan. We will be going back for all our jewelery shopping.

They had a huge selection to choose from, and I liked that they didnt pressure us into anything. We purchased my husband's wedding band from them for $330. It was originally VERY shiney white gold which we didn't like. They said they could Sand Blast it to make it a little more dull. We picked it up the next day and it looked absolutely awful. It looked so dull, like the chain on a playground swing or something. The woman that helped us didn't know that what we wanted was called Brushed finish so they took the ring back and fixed it and everything was perfect!

For a good price, my husband bought be a beautiful 1.5 carat ring for half of the price of anywhere else we had looked.

We didn't have a huge budget at all for our wedding bands. My fiance had purchased my engagement ring here, so we decided to go there for our rings also. The service was friendly, there was no pressure to buy and they were super flexible with us about sizing our rings. I loved this place. Prices seem very fair compared to many other jewelry stores.

When my husband and I went to buy our wedding rings, it was a given that we would get them at the Jewelry Exchange. The prices can't be beat. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. My family has been using them for years and not once ever had a problem. I would highly recommend them.

The Jewelry Exchange is great for their diversity. However, Jewelry By Alex in the Paramus location is by far the greatest! Alex is a great guy who is always happy to help. He recommends the most beautiful jewelry and really makes you feel like you're getting the best deal in the world. He's an honest, hard working man, and his product shows it. All of my jewelry before the wedding came from him, and I know every piece from here on out will, too. My husband got his band from Alex, too, and though he was never a jewelry wearer before now, he loves it!
