About this vendor
The Kincaid House formerly known as Brownworth Manor, was built by the Carl Kincaid family in the 1930's. Mr. Kincaid was owner of Magnet Mills, a large hosiery plant in Clinton. The Dutch Colonial style home originally contained 20 acres with a public garden. The Kincaid's were collectors of boxwoods and iris', some of which are still on the property. The 4000+ square foot home has 4 bedrooms & 4 baths. The interior of the home features a formal living room & dining room, large kitchen & huge great room. The exterior features a slate roof, huge patio, stone walkways around the grounds & a stone gazebo with "card room" upstairs. The stone used on the walls, walkways & gazebo is from Norris Dam . The Kincaid House is the perfect place to begin your new life together!

Do not look anywhere else except here!!! Could not have been more happier with this venue choice. Josh and Ryan know exactly what they are doing and made my wedding day the least I’ve ever been stressed!! They put everything at ease, with helping set up decorations, with checking on the bride and groom numerous times throughout the day, replying to my endless number of emails and never once showing annoyance. There are no words to express the gratitude we have for these amazing venue owners. I couldn’t even begin to name every single thing these guys did to make sure my wedding day was absolutely perfect. The venue is absolutely stunning. 10/10 recommend this venue!!!
If you are looking for a wedding venue, stop your search and immediate go with The Kincaid House. Josh and Ryan were the greatest the whole journey and helped us in so many ways. Not only were they monumental in helping me make decisions and figure out what i wanted during the planning process but they were saint on the actual day of. They helped keep everything on track and in line without involving me at all. They were so amazing, my day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without them. I will recommend the venue and them till my voice goes out.
Josh and Ryan were hands down the best people to work with when it came to our wedding. They are thorough, prompt, friendly, and overall champions of your wedding day and vision. They answered all my questions, were supportive, and gave great advice. The day of the wedding they took everything out of my hands and executed it flawlessly. The Kincaid House is a hidden gem and its a beautiful property. We are eternally thankful for Josh and Ryan for helping us through our big day!
The Kincaid house is a beautiful historic venue and Josh & Ryan are amazing and so pleasant to work with and will go above and beyond to make your event amazing!
Wonderful! Josh & Ryan are fantastic and made our day perfect! They go above & beyond.
Josh & Ryan are two AMAZING people. When I first chose The Kincaid House it was owned by a different party, so they took over with less than a few months before my wedding and the transition was flawless. They are always on top of everything. They take every detail seriously! Every email was responded to quickly and I got so much reassurance from them about any concern I had. They offer such great packages & pricing too! A little advice, HIRE Josh as your coordinator because he literally is the best. I felt so cared about the entire time I worked with them and they were very accommodating. The venue grounds are gorgeous and VERY well maintained. I loved that they had a valet for my guests. All of my linens were perfectly pressed for the day of, and the house was cleaned spotless. The Bridal & Groom suites were very cozy and such a perfect place to spend time with my family prior. These two have hosting weddings perfected. There is not one complaint!!
This is a beautiful wedding or celebration venue! The owner, Melissa, is very kind. She is also very willing to assist, make necessary adjustments during the event and in general she went above and beyond for us.
This venue was the perfect choice. We live in Clinton, and knew we wanted a small and local wedding & Reception. The Kincaid House gave us an intimate day, with the castle-like look and old-time feel we were looking for. We had an oldies kind of theme, but a garden-like atmosphere. Melissa, the owner, helped with ideas and made the day a perfect one for everyone. Rain and all, we had a blast! Thank you, Kincaid House!
The venue is absolutely gorgeous! There are multiple ways to design an event here. Melissa, Stacie, and Susan were great to work with! They made sure everything was perfect for our wedding on Labor Day Weekend. They helped design three rain plans leading up to our big day. It rained just hours before our outdoor ceremony but they made sure every seat was dry! I can't say enough about the venue or staff. If you're looking for a wedding or event venue I highly recommend contacting the Kincaid House!
