We had our wedding at The Lincoln Center this past August 2024. It was truly amazing and wonderful in so many ways! In my opinion this is the total locals place to get married in Northern Colorado (Best location in Downtown Foco and the best price to have a big ol' fancy wedding without the big ol' price tag). We wanted to have 150+ loved ones come to our wedding the easiest way we could. They have multiple areas to use, we used the beautiful Rooftop deck for our Ceremony and partied in the Ballroom for the reception. So many cute pictures spots, naturally elegant space (we didn't even have that many decorations and it still looked amazing here). Our event coordinator Benjamin was amazingly helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. 12/10 place to get married we wish we could do it all over again.
We got married here in June 2023. Lauren Binder was our wedding coordinator and she was OUTSTANDING. She thought of each and every little detail, including many that we did not think of ourselves! We planned to have the ceremony and reception outside- at the last minute, there was a torrential downpour and everything had to be moved inside on the fly. We ended up getting married in the hallway upstairs in the Lincoln Center with all of our guests standing around us- we "walked in" using the elevator. So very creative and so meaningful. I would not change a THING. Lauren is terrific- she will not steer you wrong.
We had our wedding reception in the Canyon West Ballroom. This place is amazingly affordable! Weekend wedding rates are the same as during the week. $950 (plus some service fees) but compared to most venues its not bad at all! They also had some extra rentals if you wanted. Lyn was incredibly helpful and fun throughout the entire process! She answered our questions and worked with us to give us the wedding we wanted. You have to use one of their preferred vendors but we were able to find affordable ones. The room fit about 110 people comfortably, and the lighting was a nice bonus feature too. I highly recommend this place!!
I would strongly recommend this place to everyone for their wedding venue! It's a gorgeous venue and it's very affordable. The staff was great too, we worked with Stacie Smoot..she was so helpful the entire time. I couldn't of picked a better place for our big day!
We had our wedding at the Lincoln Center this last July. It was a beautiful day, and a neat venue in downtown Fort Collins. However, the Lincoln Center staff is not great. If you do your wedding here, you don't really have a "wedding coordinator," in fact the gal we worked with for 7 months didn't even show up. The wedding industry in competitive, if you're looking for good service (which you deserve for the price you pay here) I would avoid the Lincoln Center.
Expect them to lie about the pricing right off the bat. The facility is very nice and very convenient in downtown. The staff is friendly, but don't expect them to do what they say they are going to do.
They did an amazing job and were very affordable! The setting is Beautiful! Our evening even had some downs and the director helping me brought me a box of tissues, a small caring thought really helped!!
We looked at a few venues around Fort Collins but were really looking for something that was affordable, naturally beautiful, and would let us have more control over our wedding (i.e. caterers, etc.). We found the perfect venue in the Lincoln Center, and an even better event coordinator in Valerie Reed. She is one of the most outstanding coordinators I have ever met and she absolutely made the wedding process easier. We loved having both the ceremony and reception in one place, which made it very convenient for our guests. We also appreciated that we were able to pick our own caterer, instead of having to rely on an in-house company. This saved us a great bundle of money and we could not have been happier with the service throughout our planning process.
We booked at the Lincoln Center because of the cost, location, and look. In total we spent about $4,500 because we rented out 3 different rooms at the venue.
The best part about the Lincoln Center is by-far pricing. It is an exquisite venue, because it I owned by the city, they charge the same rental price regardless of the day - a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday rental coast the same as any weekday. That was definitely not the case at other local venues we looked at. We did a Saturday night wedding for half the venue cost of comparable facilities in the area.
Our ceremony was held in the Magnolia Theater, while the reception was in the Canyon West Ballroom. The venue was beautiful and Valerie was a doll to work with. There was a bit of excitement when four children got stuck in the elevator due to a malfunction. The staff was very professional and handled the crisis well. Overall, the evening was wonderful and all turned out well.
We chose the Lincoln Center for our wedding because we wanted a place that could accommodate 200 people near Old Town Fort Collins. We loved the contemporary look and feel of the venue and the staff was great. Our ceremony was held on the rooftop deck and our reception in the Canyon West Ballroom. The Lincoln Center charges a fairly reasonable room rental fee that includes the room, tables and chairs and then you can add on audio equipment, stage, china service, linens, etc. For some it might feel like being "nickle and dimed" compared to venues where everything is included in one price. However, I think we still spent less than many of those places when all was said and done.
The venue requires that you use their onsite alcohol provider Sapphire. I was disappointed with this at first as the prices seemed a bit high, but the service was absolutely fabulous and our bill actually ended up being quite a bit less than we budgeted, which was nice. All other vendors (florist, cake, caterer, etc.) you bring in yourself, though the Lincoln Center does have an approved vendor list. If you want someone who isn't on their list though, it's fairly easy to get them added.
On the day of the wedding the main event coordinator and all of the venue staff was fabulous. We didn't worry about a thing and everything was set to our plan and expectations. If you don't mind a venue where you bring in many of your own vendors, I would HIGHLY recommend the Lincoln Center. They were amazing to work with and we had a perfect day!
We used the Lincoln Center for our wedding venue on 10/12/13. The staff was professional and very easy to work with. They were very responsive to our questions and needs. The space is absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony on the rooftop and the lighting was beautiful. There is some construction going on across the street, but trees provided enough of a cover (even in the fall) that we hardly noticed. Our reception was in the Canyon West ballroom. It was absolutely magnificent. On the day of the wedding, the staff was attentive and professional, conducting everything in the background with our wedding planner. There was a show going on at the same time in the theatre, and we didn't even notice at all. Over all, we are extremely happy to have used the Lincoln Center for our wedding venue and highly recommend it!
I grew up at the Lincoln Center and now they have remodeled the entire facility. There was some confusion around pricing, so make sure you are very clear. There are a lot of people that transition from one role to the next... causing information to be lost. Take good notes at all of your meetings. Overall I would change a thing. We enjoyed the ballroom and rooftop patio. People are still raving about our event!
The staff at the Lincoln Center were very flexible with dates and times as well as helping us keep our costs down. They were very upfront about what was expected of both sides and were able to offer many recommendations for other services. We had a family friend do the food and he had all day access to the kitchen and fridges. We rented the Gardens and they were amazing! The nice thing about that was we had an outdoor wedding and thankfully it was nice that day. Had it not been there was a room with the same capacity reserved inside a big 'what if' relief!;If you decide to rent from them don't show up early! They'll have to charge you if you do.
