My husband and I got married here last weekend. What a beautiful and wonderful experience! Becky was a pleasure to work with by answering all of our questions, making suggestions, and making sure our day was special. We had a beautiful suite with a view, a wonderful ceremony and reception, and overall a very nice stay. We wished we stayed longer! Thank you to all of the Line staff for making our wedding day so special and memorable.
Everything about The Line was perfect! Becky was a pleasure to work with and always quick to respond. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and the getting ready rooms had everything to make the day go smoothly. We loved the big windows overlooking the river and beautiful hardwood floors. Our guests loved the food and were sad to leave the dancefloor at the end of the night.
We had our wedding at The LINE Austin and the venue was absolutely incredible! The setting, lighting, location and views were all unbeatable. All of the serving staff, bartenders, etc., were very friendly and helpful. The food was impeccable and we received so many compliments from our guests! If you are looking for a glamourous yet eclectic "Austin" vibe - this is the place for you.
Unbelievable venue. Great location with fantastic 360 views in the ballroom! The customer service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the amenities can't be beat. The getting ready rooms and the use of the full 2nd floor is incredible for a large wedding.
The LINE Hotel was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. We knew we wanted a wedding venue with an "Austin" vibe because both my husband and I are from here so this was the PERFECT location. We also wanted a venue that did the majority of the work for us and let me say, the hotel went above and beyond. We also loved that our friends and family could stay at the venue itself and not have to worry about driving home after the festivities. From the beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, to the delicious food (everyone commented on how amazing it was), to the entire 2nd floor dedicated to our event, including the groom and bridal suites, the hotel exceeded our expectations over and over! Lastly, I wanted to express our gratitude to Becky and Gretta, who made the planning process both easy and fun! They were there to answer every question with such an amazing attitude and helped accommodate our vegetarian diet with ease! Best decision we made, hands down!
The LINE Hotel is the most incredible wedding venue. I decided to choose The LINE originally because (1) it was a convenient drive from the airport for out-of-town guests, (2) it was pet friendly for my dachshund ring bearer to be with us all weekend, (3) it was all indoors with an outdoor feel thanks to the windows (we wanted a summer wedding but did not want to be sweating outside in Texas heat), and (4) it was extremely affordable (especially compared to Dripping Springs - wow incredibly worth it!). I was over-the-moon with the mood and vibe of the hotel. We did our engagement shoot at P6 and I just knew I wanted a fun, funky urban wedding so I used the hotel style to design my dream. Once we booked and actually had the wedding, there were so many more pros about this venue. (1) All of our friends and family made a weekend of our wedding and explored Austin so this was the perfect spot - central and around so many great restaurants. (2) Because everyone came for the weekend, the hotel was just on it for us and went above and beyond. The pool Saturday even had a DJ and it was just all our guests partying pre-wedding. (3) The FOOD was amazing! No bland, basic hotel food here! We had a tomato chicken dish and a beef short rib. Everything was local farm-to-table and you could tell! Our guests were raving about the food. (4) The hotel was great about accommodating us - they let us use their furniture set up as we pleased (like special gold chairs for the head table, we’re quick to address spills and cleaning up tables, and honestly Paige and Ryan were absolute gurus and put up with all my email requests. (5) Photos came out incredible!! This place has all the light and views and none of the problems of weather and heat. Plus, my guests got to watch the bats from the reception, which was really really cool at sunset! (6) They upgraded us to the presidential suite for the weekend and it was amazing. It was so nice to be able to host our families and just hangout at the hotel together!! It was like being home. I had done all the wedding planning and looked at LOTS of venues but The LINE just blew me away and I can honestly say all my guests and my parents felt the same. My parents were thrilled it was all indoors, we had the whole second floor for the day, there were no hidden fees or extras (i.e., for getting ready suites and time), and they were just so accommodating (food allergies, kids plates, last minute changes to the bar menu, etc.). I cannot give enough praise for this venue! And I love that now we have a place at place for our anniversaries got many years to come!
I want to let you know how wonderful our experience was at the Line Hotel. First and foremost, you can have a wedding in the middle of a Pandemic! We originally agreed to a July wedding, but after everything shut down, sometime in April, we decided to move our wedding to September. We were still very concerned about having a wedding while the coronavirus was on the rise. The hotel offered us so many options to help ease our nerves. They even offered up P6 to do the wedding outside if we thought that would make everyone feel safer. We decided to move forward with the ballroom option and we slashed our guest list from 90 to 50. When we came to the hotel for the tasting back in August, it was really our first time out and about. We felt reassured with the safety measures the hotel was taking to keep its guests safe. The food was absolutely amazing. I told the Ryan, the director of catering that I was trying to think of ways to meet our minimum food and beverage, and he kindly said, “We’re not going to make you spend money just because you had to cut your guestlist.” I was extremely grateful. I was blown away by his attention to detail and the things he did to make sure our reception was safe. Somethings the hotel did to keep it safe was take everyone’s temperatures upon arriving, rolling all the silverware to keep it sanitized, and serving our plated dinner wearing masks and gloves. We were not allowed to have everyone dance at the same time due to the state regulations, so we let 1 couple dance at a time. It actually made it more intimate. Diego, director of banquets and his staff share their enthusiasm about our wedding and that made us feel really good. He ran the evening perfectly. We had several people coming up to us saying how perfect everything was, and how safe they felt. Our server Gabriella was so warm and friendly. She helped us with a cart up to our room after the wedding. We wanted to give her gratuity, and she said that wasn’t necessary. She expressed how happy she was to see a wedding in the ballroom again. The hotel staff was amazing during our stay, and we felt like rockstars for sure! The bellman Mell was awesome, and the doorman was great. I’m sorry, I can’t remember his name, but he helped me with my dress, and getting me up to the Bridal studio on the wedding day. They also upgraded everyone with our wedding to suites, which were absolutely amazing! I wanted to wait a few weeks to write this review so I could accurately report that everyone who attended our wedding stayed safe and healthy. This was a huge relief! We can’t wait to come back and celebrate our first anniversary at the hotel!
We had our morning wedding and brunch reception at the Line and it was absolutely perfect! Their recently renovated ballrooms are beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of Congress Bridge and the lake. Great for an outdoor feel, but with indoors A/C, especially in the Texas summer. With a variety of different sized ballrooms, all with great views, they can accommodate small to large weddings! I received many compliments from my guests about the elegance of the venue and the deliciousness of the in-house catering. The event director at the Line, Stephanie, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and wonderful to work with! I could not have asked for a better experience.
When we first walked into the lobby, we knew that we wanted to have our wedding here! It’s such a unique space with a central location. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all held in the Topaz rooms on the second floor, and it was a perfect space for our 64 guests. So many of our guests raved about how incredible their reception dinner was, and we knew from the tasting prior to the wedding that everything was going to be delectable. There were so many special touches that made our wedding memorable, such as passed champagne prior to the ceremony, little desserts to accompany our cake table, and late-night sliders. Paige, the event coordinator, is phenomenal! We cannot recommend her enough. She worked with us to plan and personalize our wedding for months, and on the day itself, she made everything totally seamless, which was especially helpful when it came to coordinating vendors. Having our wedding at The LINE Austin made our celebration memorable and unique.
We just celebrated our wedding as one of the first at The LINE! We chose the hotel because we live in LA and LOVE the hotel here—great food, bars, karaoke, accommodations. We were ecstatic to hear they just opened in Austin! We did NOT want to stress about weather in Texas, so we wanted and indoor wedding (though the dream was an outdoor one). The LINE’s ballroom was incredible for the ceremony. It’s entirely tree lined year-round behind the floor to ceiling windows, so it had this wonderful outdoor setting with none of the cold or rain. We did our cocktail our in their upstairs restaurant which was a quick accommodation they did for us due to some construction delays. It was an incredibly restaurant—beautiful views and decor (overlooks the lake). We also did our first look there and they came out beautiful. The food was fantastic!! The staff accommodated our family style request, they made us beautiful signature drinks, they provided furniture, tables, the works! I also really loved working with Paige, the event coordinator. She always had a positive attitude, answered questions in a timely manner, kept us informed on progress, and really made us feel supported through the entire planning process and wedding. The bridal suite was also fantastic, and we did our after party at the bar downstairs!! Our guests loved the accommodations, there were a lot of extra amenities they offered tot them. I’m so happy we tied the knot there and that we were able to show our guests such a great time!
