Franklin and Dylan, better known as the French Cowboys, grew up between two cultures, with French roots and American spirit. When we moved to Texas to follow our dreams of becoming entrepreneurs and hoteliers, we quickly fell in love with the Hill Country, the rolling hills, historic towns, and the kind of hospitality that just makes you feel at home. We started French Cowboys to bring something fresh and different to the Hill Country. Properties that are design-forward, welcoming, and grounded in the character of the places they belong to. Every space we create is meant to feel like a true escape: warm, relaxed, and full of little details that make it special. Our goal? To celebrate the charm of the Hill Country and share it with a new generation of travelers.

Recently booked a “Premier King Room” which was supposed to have a screened patio porch, hardwood floors, claw foot tub. The pictures shown on the website are nowhere near what our...

room looked like. We have pets so the screened patio and hardwood floors were important to us. On arrival our room was dark, old, outdated with old carpet. Room smelled musty. There was no porch screened or otherwise. No place to sit outside and enjoy nature. There was no representative on the property even though it was well within normal business hours. Calling the hotel number resulted in a lengthy awkward conversation with numerous call backs with little help. The hotel promised a full refund which was never given and in fact they ended up charging twice for the room which we never stayed in. This establishment is poorly run and very deceptive. I’ve added photos of the room they gave us. Nothing like what was shown on the website as we would have expected.
