The Santaluz Club

We are the parents of the bride, and this was our third wedding for our last child to be married. At our two prior weddings, we used different venues including some of San Diego’s most expensive venues for weddings. We found the Santaluz Club to be simply fabulous with beautiful grounds, well-priced for tremendous quality, and with the most cooperative and helpful staff. With most wedding venues you negotiate with the representative in charge of weddings, and whenever you have the desire to do anything different or to negotiate what is always an unreasonable cost at the outset, the representative has to check with management and sometimes you get what you want, and most times you do not, and the negotiating back and forth is time-consuming and frustrating. Elizabeth Dapp who is the Catering Director is an experienced professional in the hospitality business and is a cut far above most younger and far less experienced representatives of local hotels, and she has the authority to cut the deal once and she is very smart and very fair. Additionally, Santaluz Club has a great tent that is perfect for events and the cost of which is included in the venue fee which results is substantial savings. My wife and I recommend Santaluz Club without hesitation.

We could not be more happy with Santaluz Club! From the very beginning Elizabeth and her team made us feel so incredibly special. We had 2 years to plan our wedding, but she made us feel important, and was so attentive to our needs and questions whether we were a week out or 100 weeks out. Working with her was so easy - she replied promptly and has a lot of experience so really is a true professional. The food is absolutely incredible!! Everything was so good it made it hard to decide. ALL OF OUR GUESTS raved about how amazing the food was and we had over 180 people. The service there is also impeccable. They really know how to take care of their guests. Overall it was the best day ever and we have to thank Elizabeth and everyone at the GORGEOUS Santaluz Club for making that possible!!

Amazing venue. Beautiful grounds and amazing tent. The staff is superb and so was the food. Very helpful and accommodating! Couldn't have asked for anything more! The only drawback is that you need to be a member of the club or know someone who lives in the community.
