I used the 2" Rosette Succulents for our wedding favors and our guests loved them! There was a nice variety of plants, and they arrived in great condition. Customer service was also great when I had to change my order quantity. I highly recommend The Succulent Source!
These were perfect for my wedding. Everyone loves them!
I'll start with all the positives. The succulents are gorgeous, despite that they ship from basically the opposite coast from me. They're thoughtfully packaged and they're hardy enough to get through the transit just fine. I ordered 4" succulents to plant into glass globes with fairy lights, and I recommend a smaller succulent for something like a 5" globe... They turned out gorgeous, but the trouble to plant them was entirely on my end. I loved the variety. I asked for pale green and lavender purples, and that's what I got, in an assortment of cute donkey tails, fuzzy aloe-lookin guys, and lavender echiveras. It was perfect.
Now, the shippers messed up the label somehow and my wedding bouquet, boutonnieres, and mother of the bride corsage got shipped to a different state. I didn't let missing flowers ruin the day, and a friend stepped in with last minute carnations - but I gotta say how dedicated Amber was trying to resolve the problem, and it wasn't even her fault. The night before the wedding she was on the phone with Fedex for HOURS trying to locate my package and get it routed at least to the wedding venue for me. Well, it didn't make it, but she updated me every step of the way with info, and contacted my day-of wedding tactician before the ceremony with updates. A week later, my sad package got to me, and I salvaged the plants I could. I could tell what would have been an utterly gorgeous bouquet and boutonnieres, and it's a shame I didn't get to make use of Amber's artistic vision. Giant coral colored King protea, lavender echeverias for the center pop of color, spiky air plants because I specified I wanted something to break up the roundness... She worked with everything I asked for. Amber seemed as heartbroken as me, and it's rare to feel that a company cares as much as their client does. I'll add a couple pictures of the centerpiece preparations, and the boutonnieres which actually still looked pretty when they reached me, but not the bouquet which was a bit water-logged by the time it arrived.
The cuff came out so pretty! I bought it for my mom to wear at my wedding and she loved it. The best part is it is now sitting in her dining room window planted and growing! This is a beautiful keepsake corsage that any plant lover will treasure.

I ordered succulents and personalized tags from the Succulent Source for our wedding favors. I ordered very close to our wedding date and was concerned that they wouldn't arrive on time, but they arrived in a matter of days! None of our succulents arrived damaged, they were very easy to re-pot into the designer votives, and everyone loved them. Highly recommend!
I was so pleased in the quality of the succulents I received from the Succulent Source. I ordered well in advance, but they shipped them a few days before my event . They were packed tightly together in a box, and had been kept safe with packing peanuts. We wrapped them in craft paper and twine, wrote individualized succulent puns on the paper, and offered them as wedding favors. They were a huge hit!
The succulents were absolutely beautiful and everyone loved them as their favors. The tags were amazing and really helped tie in the theme of our garden wedding. We were a little upset when we were informed the white pails we ordered were on backorder and would not be available for the wedding. But instead we got gold votives that looked even better and were more expensive, but succulent source covered the extra cost and cost of shipping. Outstanding customer service! Highly recommend!
We got married this August in Parker, Colorado and loved the Succulent Source. They were so easy to work with and guided us through the timing process with shipping and delivery. We purchased the "Favor" succulents along with the gold pots as our guest favors and table assignments and everyone loved them! We also did some loose succulents which we used to top our cake with. Everything arrived as expected and I couldn't imagine the condition and look of the succulents to be any better. Thank you so much!! We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting succulents at their wedding.

If you're looking for an affordable favor that everyone will love, I definitely recommend The Succulent Source! They came perfectly packaged. I would just recommend that they put more fragile and this side up stickers on their boxes. Mine came delivered on its side and one box was a little scrunched. That's more of a review for the US Postal Service though haha! Even with all that there was no damage to any of the plants. I went with the assorted 2" pots and everyone loved them. I got them well before the wedding and was able to follow instructions and videos that they have on their site to care for them after their long journey across the country.
We received succulent corsages and mini succulents for centerpieces from the succulent source! They were all wonderful, shipped professionally, and very sturdy. We couldn't recommend them more!
My wedding was in New Jersey and we had our succulent favors shipped all the way from California from the Succulent Source. I could not have been happier with how beautiful the succulents were. We ordered succulent favors in the mercury glass votives, which looked wonderful on the guests' tables. The succulents arrived about a week before the wedding and they looked fresh after the cross-country trip. The succulent favors coordinated very well with the succulents in my centerpieces and bouquets. I would encourage anyone to use the Succulent Source.
My wedding was canceled and they were so sweet and compassionate about everything! Gave me a full refund and was extremely friendly. If and when it happens again I plan to go back to them.
We got all of our flowers, favors, and centerpieces from TheSucculentSource on Etsy. We got exactly what we ordered, in perfect condition, right on schedule. Their videos and tutorials made it easy for us to put everything together perfectly. Their customer service was patient and helpful when deciding what and how much to order. We transported all of the centerpieces, our wired bouquets and boutonnieres, and left over favors home and they sat in our hot back yard for two weeks, while we went on our honeymoon. A week or so after we were home, we planted everything in the soil outside our home and they are thriving. They make for a lasting reminder of our perfect day. I highly recommend this company.
The succulents arrived about a week before the wedding. I ordered them three months before the wedding and the Irwin family gave me an estimated ship date and set aside the succulents that I wanted.
They were very carefully packaged and there was little to no damage on any of the plants (120 of them). They were a great hit with the wedding guests. The variety offered is amazing! I also love the care sheet the Irwin family sent with the succulents. It was a great help with the succulents we kept!
We used the Irwin Family with Succulent Source on Etsy for wedding favors for our wedding on 9/13/14. We ordered 180 assorted mini succulents and 180 galvanized tin pails. We had to transfer the succulents from the small plastic containers they were shipped in into the tin pails. This process was long, but not difficult. The confirmation email provided clear directions with a video. We received the succulents about two weeks prior to our event, so we had plenty of time to care for them and transfer them before Wedding Day. We gave them a quick watering one or two times, but mostly let them sit in the living room. We placed each mini succulent on a square burlap placemat at each table setting for the reception. They definitely added some rustic charm. Plus, our guests loved them!
I LOVED working with this vendor. I ordered 250 succulent plants from them for my wedding favors. There was only one plant that didn't make it. They were BEAUTIFUL! So much fun! Everyone loved their favor.
I am so disappointed in the customer service received from The Succulent Source! After connecting through Etsy with this company, we had conversations for over a month leading up to the time I planned to order a large quantity of succulents for my wedding. I even pre-ordered 5 samples to ensure the quality of the product. Now, 10 days until my wedding, they are telling me that they only ship out with Fedex on Mondays (so I missed my window) and any other shipping method will be significantly more expensive. I called The Succulent Source instead of emailing in hopes to find a quicker resolution. Darren return my call and was the most disrespectful person I have encountered through this entire wedding planning process. He continuously insisted that it was my fault I would have to pay so much more, even though important transportation details were left out of our previous 19 conversations. While I was working to find a resolution to this "miscommunication" Darren refused and said "at this point it would be best if you just take your business elsewhere!" I requested to speak to someone else in the company, he told me that The Succulent Source was a family owned business and everyone else would agree that they would not be able to help me and I need to take my business elsewhere. I tried to reason with him that my options were limited now that I am 10 days away from my wedding, but he continuously yelled, interrupted me, and finally hung up on me. I have never been treated like this before from a company! Please be careful when dealing with the Irwin Family, San Pedro Cactus & The Succulent Source…I had no indication of any issues until it was too late!
I contacted The Succulent Source almost 8 months before my wedding and they were helpful and positive through to the end. I ordered one sample cactus from them at their recommendation (who is still happily growing on my windowsill) and then had 90 cactus shipped to me the week before the wedding. They did a great job packing and while some did shift in shipping, I was able to repot them all and my guests loved them!
We loved the succulents, and so did our guests! Only problem was the UPS delivered them so late that they had been in the boxes for several days, which compromised their health. A lot of the plants did not survive much after the wedding (we've heard from our guests who brought them home)...even though they were pretty during the wedding.

Instead of traditional flowers, we went with succulents for our wedding. We used them as table decorations and sprinkled throughout the venue. After a lot of research, we went with The Succulent Source. We ordered approx 120 plants and while we ordered them 3 months before the wedding, they were shipped to me 10 days prior to my wedding. All 120 plants arrived in great condition and every plant made it to the wedding. I cannot recommend the Succulent Source highly enough for bulk succulent plants based on the cost, customized shipping, and quality of the plants.
