The Village & The Village Farm is a wedding venue located in Kearney, NE. This gorgeous location is perfect for couples that want a unique experience with distinctly rustic vibes. Its pastoral location allows you to host a celebration that feels private and exclusive, creating unforgettable memories with your loved ones.
The Village was built in 1940 and retains much of its original structure today. You can celebrate your ceremony and reception here with total ease, and even spend the morning getting ready here. The comfortably furnished and luxuriously spacious get-ready suite can accommodate you, your hair and makeup team, and your chosen wedding entourage. You can start your day off in total relaxation, primping to look your best before the festivities begin. Your ceremony can take place in the heart of the banquet hall, the gorgeous rustic ballroom. This space features touches of wood and steel from the exposed ceiling beams and classic brickwork on the wall. Market lighting is strung overhead to cast a romantic glow over your celebration. Following your vow exchange, you and your guests can enjoy some tasty refreshments in the ballroom’s bar area. This will allow the ballroom to be rearranged to accommodate your beautiful reception. You can accommodate up to 300 guests here, seated banquet style, with plenty of room for a dance floor. The spacious hall is perfect for enjoying an evening’s entertainment and dancing the night away as a newly married couple.
The Village offers a compact wedding package to make celebrating at their establishment easy. Included in their standard offering is rental of the building from Thursday through to Sunday. During this time, you will have 24 hour access to the building, making setting up for your celebration a total breeze. Hourly, half-day, and full-day rentals are also available for smaller events such as wedding showers or elopements. Additional items that can be added to your package include bespoke bar services, clean-up, and a celebrant. You can also avail of such event rentals as altars, arbors, banquet tables, flatware, glassware, and audio-visual equipment. Outside vendors of your choice are also welcome, allowing you to create the day of your dreams.

In April of 2019, with some answered prayer and a leap of faith, Alissa bought what was once a run-down building. After months of hard work (did you know that Alissa made the magnificent chandelier hanging in the middle of the banquet hall??) and hours of toil and passion, the doors to The Village opened; Alissa juggles all the pieces it takes to run a business. Along with the support and help of her family, Alissa continues to build The Village and The Farm to serve the community, bring people together, and help create lasting memories.
