We had such an incredible experience at the Warwick for our wedding day. Right from the site visit, we knew that this was the venue for us. David, Ciara and the entire staff at the Warwick made every step of the way very easy and stress-free. They were accommodating and patient with every single request we asked for. Each meeting and site visit we had was always very productive and we would make lots of decisions which was great.
It’s really easy for the food at a hotel wedding to not be memorable, but it was exceptional at the Warwick. We received so many compliments on the hors d'oeuvres and also on how perfectly the salmon was cooked for the entree. We also had great servers and bartenders throughout the whole night and our guests had the best time with them.
The venue was already a gorgeous canvas to work with, but to have the staff be as exceptional as they were really made the experience smooth for us.
After touring the Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square as a potential wedding venue, I knew that it was the one. It had everything I was looking for; an affordable all-inclusive wedding package, a beautiful ballroom, located in such a great neighborhood, and had such caring staff. David, Allison, and the entire staff at The Warwick Hotel were very attentive and professional. I was able to reach out to them with any questions/ concerns and they were always available to talk. Our tasting was both fun and productive, they even provided us with complimentary wine! The chef was great and allowed us to customize some things on the menu, and we ended up choosing our entrees and hors d'oeuvres at the tasting. The day before the wedding, we were allowed to drop off our decor and keep it in a storage room, which was absolutely essential for me since I do not live in the city. Allison and David were attentive during the entire planning process as well as on the wedding day and were always there should I need anything. We got so many compliments after our wedding on the bartenders and waiters; they were so pleasant and accommodating! Everyone also raved about the hors d'oeuvres, especially the mini cheesesteakes! The only reason that The Hotel is not receiving 5 stars from me is because they notified my maid of honor during my wedding that we had to remove all of the decorations the night of the wedding. I felt terrible that some of my guests had to help me bring all of my decorations from the ballroom to the storage room. When we stopped in the next morning, the tables had not been broken down yet and the ballroom was not cleaned, so I truly felt like it could have waited until the next morning! Other than that situation, The Hotel was everything I needed it to be for my wedding venue and I would still highly recommend them. My husband and I as well as our guests had such an enjoyable and memorable evening!
The steak was under cooked had one member get Ill server was sweet but all the steak at our table was not pink it was bloody
We were so happy with how our wedding ceremony and reception turned out. Everyone was so easy to work with and the staff were so attentive! The space looked gorgeous the day of and it was such a relief to have the hotel room block and the ceremony/reception all in the same place. The food was delicious as well. Definitely recommend!
I realize this was a long time ago--a lot has changed, and I know the hotel has undergone major renovations, but I had a gorgeous wedding at the Warwick on 12.6.75. When I became engaged earlier that year at 25, I told my beloved parents where I wished to get married; I luckily received no argument. My mother and I met twice with the catering staff, and everything was set. Our package included a large hotel room for my personal use on the day of the wedding.
After Robert broke the glass in front of 110 friends and family in a lovely ceremony, we all took the elevator to a different floor for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Our delicious sitdown dinner was talked about for months. The wedding cake was divine. From start to finish, the staff was professional and helpful. We couldn't have been more pleased.
It's now almost 46 years later, and we've lived in northern CA nearly all that time. I still reminisce about our beautiful Saturday night at the Warwick. It was the wedding of my dreams.
The Warwick hotel exceeded our expectations. Lauren Belsh, was always so helpful, accommodating, and such a pleasure to work with. She’s extremely talented at what she does, both her and the hotel went above and beyond to make our wedding so special. The hotel decor is modern and a great space to make it any kind of theme or style wedding. Food was amazing and there was plenty of it for guests. Having the restaurant downstairs with a bar was great option for guests staying, and the hotel is convenient location for churches and pictures in philly. Can’t speak more highly of having a wedding here, it didn’t feel like you were just another wedding at their venue but that they wanted to make it perfect for you and tailored to you.
Lauren Belsh & the Warwick team know how to put on a wedding!! From start to finish Lauren was so helpful, creative and friendly - I absolutely loved working with her over the last 14 months. She took my vague vision for our wedding of about 100 guests and created such a beautiful weekend. Lauren had lots of ideas/suggestions, asked every necessary question and anticipated details I never would have. I can't recommend this team enough. The food was delicious, the bar service was top notch, every single detail was taken care of. Aside from the awesome team, the venue is gorgeous. The ballroom is super modern and customizable, offering something different than the typical hotel ballroom. Excellent value for a Center City Philly wedding. If you're planning a wedding, you want someone like Lauren & her team!!
I have stayed here before many times and loved it which is why I chose this for my wedding block. The woman who runs the wedding blocks is extremely friendly but I had a hard time getting in touch with her. It was more like she contacted me when she needed something and me having to call and e-mail a few times for a response. When we did talk she was great! I got the feeling she may have a personal issue going on which is why I couldn't ever find her.
The day of the wedding I showed up and my room was really crappy, they immediately moved me to a room across they hall and were very nice about it. Also I had requested to be put on a floor that none of our guests were on so they wouldn't see me getting ready but my instructions were not clear enough and they misunderstood. they thought I just wanted to be on another floor than the groom. I was a challenge to get ready and not leave the room at all but it was partially my fault so explain clearly what you are looking for. also their were several other weddings there that weekend and a few of our guests showed up to check in and were told they could not get a room until after 6pm! My dad had to let all the guests waiting into his room to get ready so they didn't miss the wedding. One guest complained the following day and got her room for free. Accidents happen but I appreciate their grace in handling any complaints. Be prepared for rooms not to be ready on time though.
Beautiful venue. Wedding coordinator, Terry, is fantastic: very personal and responsive to all your needs. Others on staff are great too: Jennifer, Valerien, Niya. However, the RadissonBlue Warwick hotel manager, JoAnne Cunningham is HORRIBLE. She has no "people skills" and takes over 2 weeks to respond to emails and/or calls. We had over 160 wedding guests (all staying at the hotel) and she never once checked on us or any of our guests. The others greeted us on our arrival and were extremely attentive but JoAnne never said a word or followed through. Not sure why or how she is in a management position. We would recommend the RadissonBlue Warwick as long as JoAnn has nothing to do with your wedding. If there are problems bypass her because she is ineffective and non -responsive. Had a problem with a rude bartender too but he was replaced during the reception.
Wonderful venue for a wedding if you work with Terry or Jennifer. Terry really knows good people to recommend for vendors. She recommended DJ Perry and he was excellent. Great guy too! Maria at the hotel for hair is excellent too. All-n-all great choice minus JoAnne Cunningham. She was so bad we reported her to the corporate office so they are aware of the problems and hopefully she will be replaced!
Terry, the wedding coordinator and the entire team were AMAZING! There wasn't a detail they missed. The ballroom looked beautiful and the entire day was perfect. Terry works closely with all of your vendors so you can truly enjoy your special day. You are in excellent hands with Terry! I highly recommend The Warwick!
We had a small wedding (60 guests) and wanted a venue that could make the affair intimate. The ballroom was beautiful, elegant with candle light, fireplace (non-working), dimmed chandeliers. The food and service was great, they delivered what they promised. We had a banquet manager there with us the entire night, making sure everything ran smoothly.. and it did. Their are two reasons we aren't rating the venue 5 stars, 1. throughout the process I felt we had to initiate a lot of communications and majority of it was via email (which was very impersonal), there were a few times when a phone call was in order but didn't happen. 2. hotel room accommodations was a nightmare! every guest that called to make a reservation had an issue. The person I had to deal with was very slow to respond. They original promised me early check in for the bridal suite, but when I called to confirm was told because it was a busy weekend (Army/Navy football game) they would no longer accomodate so I had to pay (they did give me a discounted rate becuase I complained) for the night prior just to ensure I had the room earlier my wedding day. So bottom line if you aren't looking for hotel accommodations this is the venue for you!
My wife and I recently had our Wedding Reception at the Radisson Warwick hotel in Philadelphia and it went absolutely perfectly. I would 100% recommend this hotel as a venue to any interested couples. We only looked at this venue and could not be more pleased with how the reception was conducted. The entire staff, from the Sales Manager to the Banquet Manager to the coat attendant and bartenders was completely courteous and professional. Throughout the entire process, the Sales Manager worked closely with us to perfect the details. Every detail that was agreed upon was executed flawlessly. The grand ballroom is capable of hosting anywhere from 75 to 200+ guests. We would not have changed a thing. Our guests had a fantastic time. We strongly recommend you consider this venue for your reception.
Terry, the wedding coordinator, and entire staff at the Warwick are amazing! Two months before my wedding there was a change of staff and I was nervous to be working with a new coordinator so close to the wedding. Terry contacted me in her first week on the job and we met soon after. She was always very responsive and everything came together perfectly.
I cannot say enough about the wedding coordinator and banquet manager. They anticipated my every need leading up to the wedding and the day off. Nearly everyone said how relaxed I was the week of the wedding and honestly it was because I knew the Warwick had it covered. Our guests raved about the food! (I, of course, barely had time to eat!). The ballroom at the Warwick is really beautiful with its big windows, fireplace, and chandelier. It was the perfect place for our NYE wedding ceremony and reception.
I had my wedding at the Warwick and it was wonderful. The staff at the Warwick is outstanding. Lori, the sales manager, assisted me throughout the entire planning process. She returned my emails and phone calls promptly, organized the day of time line and kept track of the vendors to make sure the day ran smoothly. I felt so calm in the days leading up to the wedding, knowing that I was in good hands with Lori, and her staff. The wait-staff her courteous, attentive and very helpful to our guests.
The facility itself is beautiful - we had our first look on the spiral marble staircase, took bridal party shots in the lounge and had family portraits nearby. My husband and I were also able to get pictures in Rittenhouse square, which is one block away!
I am so happy we chose to get married and have our reception at the Warwick.
My husband and I cant thank the staff at the Warwick enough for their professionalism. From our first meeting with the wedding coordinator Lori Frankel we new that the Warwick was the place for us. She was so warm, and down to Earth. We had went to other venues that didnt offer the same amount of comfort and assurance like the Warwick. Being a DIY bride that loved to be hands on, they understood my passion and allowed me to set up my arrangements the night before. They also hand tied napkin rings that I had made. This was greatly appreciated. The night of our reception, I barely have words to describe. The cocktail hour was amazing, the waitstaff was so pleasant and food and drinks were plentiful.(Beautiful buffet displays/attention to detail) Lori and the banquet manager had a constant presence during the whole event. They were so attentive to myself (asking if I would like a drink? if everything was ok?) and making sure that check- in was smooth for all guests. The reception was beautiful. My guests cannot stop raving about the food and service. Many of the comments were that this was the best reception/banquet entree's that they have ever had. The meat was cooked perfectly and all of the food is rich and plentiful. The waitstaff was also a big hit. Many of the comments that I have recieved was about the quality of service. (very accomodating/and pleasant)If you are looking for a venue that is not only rich in historic charm but has excellant banquet services please visit the Radisson Warwick you will not be disappointed.(I cant leave out the doormen and hotel staff) They were so sweet helping me unload my car and always offering a smile. Many of my guests that spent the night said that they would definatly stay with Radisson again. A+++++ Thank You
I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding reception and we owe that to the Warwick staff. Everyone (the doormen, bellhops, front desk, wait staff, chefs, and managers) went out of their way to ensure that every detail was taken of. Lori was amazing and we can't thank her enough for all the help she provided during the wedding planning process. She was so easy to work with and gave us great advice on almost every aspect of our wedding, she really went above and beyond! Our guests raved about the food both at the cocktail hour and the dinner. We had a few guests with food allergies and the staff went out of their way to accomodate them. Scott, the banquet manager, was also wonderful. We didn't have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy the night as Scott took care of everything. Our friends and family are still raving about the night. I highly recommend the Warwick!
During our initial planning process we went through a lot of back and forth trying to decide on our venue. Throughout it all the staff at the Warwick was patient, honest and did not pressure us. We really appreciated that. (Thanks Lori!)
As for the night itself it was spectacular! We had the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception all there and the transitions were seamless.
One of the most frequent comments we receive from our guests is how incredible the food was. Especially the fillet! And they loved how convenient it was that they could just book a room right there if they were from out of town.
Without a doubt we made the best decision of our planning process by booking at the Warwick!
We were so happy with the way our wedding turned out. Lori and the staff at the Warwick were amazing and very accommodating to all of our needs. The hotel is beautiful, the food was delicious and our friends are still talking about how great our wedding was! The Warwick is a perfect place for any event.
I had the time of my life having my wedding reception at the Renaissance. From the early days of planning through the stressful period, up to the day of, their service was superb! And the reception was everything I could've asked for. I recommend them for any bride who wants her wedding to be elegant, refined, and simply perfect.
My expierence getting married at the Radisson was nothing short of perfection! Lori and her team satisfied me with everything I needed for my wedding day and it was truly the best day of my life! Lori's attention to detail was impeccable especially with me being in the business as well she and I worked very well together considering I called her at least once a week leading up to my wedding! Every different request I made she made it happen and I felt very confident going into my wedding day that everything was taken care of. I wish I could go back to that day again!
At first we really didn't want to get married at a hotel but I have to say that it was the BEST decision we made. We really couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue, impeccable service (especially the wedding coordinator LORI - she is AMAZING) and the perfect day. We had both the ceremony and reception there and it worked out so well. We didn't have to worry about transportation for our guests and the hotel had very reasonable rates for our guests so many of stayed over even if they lived in the area. People are still talking about how amazing our cocktail hour food was and how much fun and beautiful our wedding was. It was truly a memorable and amazing night and the Warwick was the best choice we made. The picture presented on this site does not do it justice at all. Go look at the hotel and see in person, it's historic but updated and our pictures came out incredible. I am happy to write this review and recommend the Warwick. We also did our rehearsal dinner at the Black Sheep which is half a block away and was not only convenient but the food and service was amazing! If you are looking for a beautiful city venue with perfect service the Warwick is it!
Working with Lori at the Warwick for our wedding was the smartest thing we did! Everything, the food, the service, the staff were all wonderful and there was not one single problem at our reception. All of our guests were impressed with the great food and people. I give Lori two thumbs up - she is a true professional and such a joy to work with!! thank you Lori and the Warwick Staff for a wonderful wedding to remember.
Lori and the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel did an amazing job throughout my wedding planning process. She helped me every step of the way in making sure that all of the details in our contract were correct. Lori was extremely helpful in working with our budget. It also helped that she is extremely friendly and professional. She even made sure with the chef that my mom, who is allergic to garlic, had no garlic in her dinner at our reception. And, she even bustled my dress! She kept everything running smoothly during the ceremony despite the weather being terrible and many of our guests were running late. During our reception, Scott the banquet manager, did a fabulous job of keeping everything moving and keeping our guests fed and happy! Scott was great at telling my now husband and I when would be a good time to eat so we could actually enjoy our dinners and have time to visit with all of our guests. I highly recommend Lori, Scott, and the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel!
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing staff. Left our guests talking for months.
Gorgeous hotel. Very much enjoyed our wedding here.
The Radisson made my wedding so wonderful. I had a great time working with the staff to plan the details and I didn't have a single worry on my wedding day. Everything I wanted on my big day was done to perfection! Nine months later and I'm still being told that I had the best wedding! Thank you Radisson!
