The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel

OMG! Where do I even begin. I am very much a DIY bride (bougie on a budget) and am a major planner. We checked out several venues TheKnot had to offer and ultimately decided on The Waterfront Beach Resort! Our decision was simple the moment we started communicating with our hotel event coordinator Melissa. She was extremely kind and professional. When we had our first meeting, she wanted to get to know us as a couple and allowed us to customize our wedding package to our vision. Everything at this hotel from the room blocks to the coordination to the wait staff, bartenders and not to mention the AMAZING chef that cooked our dinner and the amazing ballroom coordinator who checked in on us all night making sure everything was filled and gorgeous. I was never stressed at all! This hotel had great communication as a whole and we were never left in the dark! We were kept updated. My guests were very VERY impressed with the luxurious coastal ballroom and terrace as well as the grass ceremony area where we put out 360 photobooth. We had a lot of last minute changes due to people getting sick and being able to unattended and Melissa was very quick and receptive to the email updates! Everything that was promised to us was provided. We also were sent gift from Melissa and Rocky to our rooms along with a letter in an envelope personalized for us! I'm smiling as I am typing all my thoughts because it was truly TRULY wonderful. My parents friends bombarded their phone raving about how gorgeous and luxurious the wedding was and how beautifully decorated and festive it appeared! The heat lamps provided more than enough heat to help the guests feel comfy. The beautiful fireplace with couches were a very sweet and romantic touch to the terrace. The sunset was beautiful as the guests admired from the large glass panels! The bridal and honey moon suite were perfect! The bridal suite had the perfect 2 windows for the bridal shots and well as the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses hanging shots! I have never been to a wedding where the guests constantly came up to me and raved about how AMAZING the food is as they are eating it. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the people could not stop talking about the brocolini and asparagus ! Everything was planned, communicated and executed to perfection. I could not have asked for a better team nor a better venue! This definitely is affordable (as affordable as luxury weddings go) and included a lot of things including the cake! Which is AMAZING may I add! I LOVED our wedding cake design as well as the flavor and taste! And I usually do not care much for wedding cakes I would 1 million percent recommend this venue for every brides wedding! The place is already decorated so all we brought were our lil touches and floral centerpieces! Most Memorable Wedding at the Waterfront Hilton, Huntington Beach! We recently celebrated our son’s wedding at the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach, and we cannot express enough how exceptional our experience was! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in great hands. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful, with its breathtaking oceanfront location providing the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. A huge thanks to Melissa Huerta, the Senior Catering Manager, who did an outstanding job helping us plan multiple events. Her flawless coordination ensured every detail was handled with precision and perfection. The service was exceptional – everything was impeccably organized, allowing the event to unfold seamlessly from start to finish. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Hilton support staff, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. Their professionalism and attentiveness were evident throughout the celebration, making all our guests feel welcome and well-cared for. And the food? Simply outstanding! Chef Lewis outdid himself, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The drinks were excellent, offering a wide variety to suit everyone's tastes – a special shout-out to Richard and his team for their stellar service. We are incredibly grateful to the Waterfront Hilton for playing such an integral role in making our son’s wedding day truly unforgettable. Thank you for helping us create cherished memories that will last a lifetime!

Enjoyable experience! Highly recommended. We worked with Ashly from the hotel. She is absolutely amazing. Has been very responsive and helpful. Not only did she help us contact vendors and give inquiries, but also is she always infectious with exuberant energies. The hotel and Ashely made our experience fun and smooth!

We got married in June of 2024, and if we did it again, we'd book the exact same package and pray to get the exact same team. Alicia was our day 1 guide. She took us on our first tour, kept us informed throughout the booking process, and handled all our requests flawlessly. We had a laundry list of things to do (a morning tea ceremony at a different venue, a multilingual ceremony, an 8 course Asian banquet, a surprise flash mob planned by our bridal party), and the Hilton team made the entire process SO smooth. During most of the planning period, we lived about 4 hours away from the venue, and Alicia was really our lifeline to keep us organized. The Hilton's wedding package also covered most of the basics (cake, dance floor, all the standard ceremony/reception seating, etc). This allowed us to focus on our own projects (diy decor, dances, traditional elements from our families). And, thanks to their provided day-of-coordinator, everything went off without a hitch on the big day.
