I think Kelcee had done an excellent job in the past with several weddings of our friends and family members, but the people overseeing our event definitely dropped the ball. The food was great, but there was a lack of organization and follow through for basic appropriate necessities. When spending such a large amount on a wedding, a business is meant to provide adequate service and space and I dont think the Westin followed through this time as they had in the past.
We got married in the Elevate Ballroom and it was just as dreamy as we could've imagined. Wanted to show out of town guests what Dallas was about - and the Westin showed 5+ star colors. Kelcee was fantastic, the food, the service, all personnel, rooms, checking in, aesthetic - everything was just spectacular. And the bar in the lobby was a BIG hit! We can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary!!
Our wedding Had around 800 guests and we were looking for a venue that could accommodate them and ensure they had a positive experience. West in park central was just that! When we first booked the place, it was beginning their renovations so we were excited to have our wedding at a new facility. Inspite of minor hiccups along the way with the renovations, The facility was almost fully renovated by the time of the event. The new fresh look was a bonus for our guests.
The biggest reason why we chose west in was the people. From the beginning, Kelcee has been very responsive to our questions and accommodating to our needs. The Chef tailored the menu to fit our guest population that was predominantly Indian. The staff worked hard to ensure that the event was ready to go at the right time. It was a great time for both us and our guests!
We loved our reception in the Elevate Ballroom! The windows looked amazing and we loved the layout. Kelcee Davis is great to work with and did everything she could to make our wedding reception exactly as we wanted. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks, and the staff were excellent. We had a block of rooms for our guests and the hotel staff were helpful and welcoming.
Our daughter's wedding was May 10,
2015 at the Westin Park Central. Although management and our contact person changed from the time we signed the contract, every
thing was honored. Kelcee Davis, became our new contact person and she and the rest of the staff were very professional. We had over 25 rooms booked and had a hospitality room and everything was wonderful. Everyone, including the front desk people, the room coordinator, the kitchen staff etc were responsive and helpful throughout the process and the weekend. We were very happy. Everything went as planned!
We got married at the Westin Park Cental in Laurels Penthouse....amazing!! The view, the food, the wait staff was perfect! Only problem was the wedding coordinator, but we looked past her and had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend this place!!! We love it!!
