I had my wedding here at the end of October 2022. The venue is beautiful however the Westin Venue Coordinator Revay is awful to deal with. If you tour this venue and she is the coordinator, STAY AWAY! She made everything 10 times harder and she did not care about us or our wedding. The Westin changed coordinators three times over the course of our contract. Revay was the third. The first two were very nice and helpful.
After Revay took over our contract, my wedding planner and I spoke with her about everything that had previously been discussed with the other coordinators and asked her additional questions. It took her months to reply to all of the questions and the responses were not complete.
When I first toured the venue, the coordinator told us we could get the hospitality suite keys the night before to bring in all of our items. This played a factor in my decision and it was very appealing that I would not have to bring a lot of stuff on the day of my wedding. The second coordinator had no issue with this when she took over. When Revay took over, she told us that she would only honor it if we had it in writing. She compromised by saying she would let us into the room the day before at noon to drop off our stuff. We were very happy with this. So we arrive the day before at noon and Revay is MIA. I called and emailed her repeatedly, the front desk called her and she just doesn't answer. She shows up at 12:50 and does not care at all that we were supposed to meet at 12. This is the day before my wedding and I'm on a strict schedule, so I did not have an hour to waste just waiting for Revay. She takes us to the hospitality suite and the room is filthy. There is trash everywhere and it's clear that it has not been cleaned. When I point this out to Revay, she gives me an attitude and says that I can either leave my stuff there or take it back with me. She does not care that the room is filthy and acts as if I'm being ungrateful. Thankfully the bellman offered to store everything and move it once the room was cleaned. My husband and I told her how upsetting that was and of course she did not care.
Throughout the planning process, I told Revay multiple times that I wanted heat lamps for the cocktail hour because I knew my family would be cold. We discussed this like 8 different times. During cocktail hour, my family kept coming into the hospitality suites because they were cold. When I asked them if there were heat lamps they said no. When my planner inquired about the heat lamps, I was informed Revay said something like oh yeah that's right, she wanted heat lamps.
Every detail of my wedding was an afterthought to Revay. Nothing was finalized with my wedding. We repeatedly asked to finalize details and payment but nothing was finalized. There were so many incidents that occurred while Revay was the coordinator but they can't all fit in this review. This review is just a slice of everything we had to deal with because of her. Weddings are already extremely stressful and I feel that Revay made it 10 times worse. It honestly feels that Revay was working against me instead of with me. I don't believe she has compassion or good customer service skills when it comes to working with brides and weddings. I tried to get a manager multiple times while dealing with Revay and kept being sent back to Revay. If I had known all of this beforehand, I would never have booked the Westin. The venue is beautiful but not worth the headache of Revay.

We were married at Westing LLV in October. We decided on a destination wedding since our families were from Oklahoma and Pittsburgh and we lived in Chicago . Mandy Weiss and her staff were exceptional! I could not think of one thing that went wrong on our wedding day. Everything was as we imagined it and ALL staff at the hotel were treated us and our guests like VIPs accommodating many requests. Could not think of any other place we would have rather had our wedding.

We were married at the Westin LLV last weekend, and it was absolutely incredible. Mandy Weiss (conference coordinator) and team made sure that every detail was executed as planned.
From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs, and so did our guests.
We had our wedding ceremony onsite at Andalusian Garden, and our guests all commented on how beautiful it was. Our cocktail hour and reception were on the Baraka Terrace and in the Baraka room, and again, everything was pure perfection.
Maybe more important than the beautiful, relaxing vacation atmosphere, was the service we received. Mandy and team made sure our menus were on point, amenities were perfect, and that we stayed within our budget. I'd recommend this venue to anyone wanting a relaxing destination wedding, that is still close to many amenities.

The staff at the Westin Lake Las Vegas was unbelievable!
Everyone in the wedding party & all the guests commented about how great they were treated. The venue was perfect for our wedding weekend. Many guests stated that this was the best wedding they had ever attended, and that's because the staff was on top of every detail! They catered to us the entire weekend.
Thank you Mandy for making our wedding perfect!

It started off well with the tour of the place. We fell in love with the landscape, the lotus court and Baraka room were Beautiful! I had many problems the planning process. I had to communicate with 3 different wedding organizers and had many issues because they did not communicate to each other very well. Thankfully I had communicated mainly through emails so I had proof of our agreements. The taste tasting was awesome and the chef is truly amazing and was very at tentative. The day of the event was a disaster and they did not keep true to their contract. My family and friends had to argue and prove all the contracted items. Once proven they would finally bring out the items purchased through the contract. The table linings were dirty with shoe prints and my Dad had to request that they double the linen to cover the imperfections. They agreed per contract to remove furniture including beds at the lotus court location (wedding area) but than refused to do so. Shannah the organizer was suppose to arrive at 0900 that day but did not show up until 3pm. Even when she did arrive, she was not helpful. My family had to tell them to remove trash and vacuum the beds and cover with a white linen to make it more pleasing. I had to move several tables to not have my guest view blocked by a pillar. The wedding are was not completed until 1600, that is when I was supposed to start the wedding ceremony. The reception area was not completed until 1700, thirty minutes prior to the start of the reception. I did not trust the Westin personnel to set up venue and thank goodness because the items they were to supply barely arrived and t only arrived because my friends and family stepped in. I am so thankful to have such wonderful people in my life and they saved my wedding day. My cake was the wrong flavor and we had hassles over the decorations for the cake. My guest complained to me that there food and drinks were taken before they had finished with them. I even had a full drink removed from my table as well. The CHEF was truly AMAZING! The food was INCREDIBLE, thank you for that! The bartender did a EXCELLENT job to! 5 stars for the Chef and bar tender, one star for Shannah and her team. Shannah kept stating "We have done this before" Well you did not do our wedding well at all, so keep practicing!

We could not have picked a better location for our wedding! We live in the UK but wanted to get married abroad and the venue was amazing! We had a few nights on the hectic Las Vegas strip then came here and it was so relaxing and pretty! The lakes, the mountains and the hotel are all so beautiful.
Karli our wedding planner was great as was the majority of the staff, the vallet guys in particular were great too however, the front desk were awful!
A lot of our guests had complaints with them which is not what we want to be hearing about when they were not there by their own choice but because of our wedding! Issues ranged from problems with the breakfast not being included when it should have been, lack of communication between front desk & security when people got locked out of their rooms. They are not in anyway accommodating & vallet guys acted like more of a concierge desk than they were (I actually don't even know if they have a concierge desk as everything I asked I was told we can't do that or they don't know but the vallet guys can/did!) they are still holding money from a guests credit card 3 weeks after they have checked out and paid their balance? Just generally seemed to have no common sense or customer service training which is sooo poor for the first point of contact of the hotel. Luckily for them I dealt with Karli not them or I do not think I would have got the correct impression of the hotel from them.
The light/music guys were great as were the staff in the sushi restaurant - they seemed to have a problem with their drains which you could smell from the restaurant (thankfully our wedding was outside so didn't have to deal with this problem then!) they let us eat outside on the patio even though they only have lounge seating which suited us and they were great that they brought everything out for us and accommodated us without fuss.
The food at the wedding, the sushi restaurant & breakfast were all really, really good. They also made our cake which was amazing! Karli was really accommodating & regarding the wedding we felt like anything we wanted we could have, which is the service we expected. Their pool is really nice and we all had a great relaxing day just spent by the pool the day after the wedding. The rooms are also really nice, great beds, great showers, good size, clean, modern, can't fault them. The dressing room I was given to get ready in was also really nice. I think the price we paid was reasonable, but am comparing this to uk prices so dont know how it compares for usa locations. Overall I had an amazing day and wouldn't change where I got married - but if we ever go back for an anniversary I hope they will have new front desk staff, or at least trained the ones they have now.

We had visited a few vendors before we stumbled upon the Westin Lake Las Vegas resort. We ended up going with them because of their flexibility and also because Karli, the catering manager, was so easy to talk to. During the entire time that we were preparing for the wedding, she always answered my questions in a timely manner. As for the venue itself, we had our ceremony at the Andalusian Gardens. Amazing background. They have so many nice picture areas that you can take around the resort. You will not be disappointed..For the reception, we opted for a dinner service at the Rick's Cafe as opposed to a traditional reception. We were able to select from a few packages that they put together. I would say the only minor blemish that we encountered was that we had requested ice cream to be served along with our wedding cake and we were told that they would be served in some nice serving dishes. Well, they forgot to serve the ice cream in those nice serving dishes and also too, the ice cream scoop was pretty tiny. But overall, we had an awesome time at our wedding and we were happy with what the Westin had provided to us and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to our family and friends for future events.

The food and the service were amazing. It definitely was a lot more pricey than other venues, but everything went off without a hitch. Family and friends told us how it was the best wedding food and the most gorgeous wedding that they had been to, so it was worth the extra money.
Matu, our coordinator, was amazing. She always responded to us promptly, and she even let us have the reception in a different outdoor space than the ceremony (which they normally don't do) because the reception site wasn't booked--all without an additional site fee!

The Westin was a beautiful area for our ceremony. It was set on Lake Las Vegas and we both loved the look and location. We knew we had to shuttle our out of town guests to the lake, but it was worth it. There were some downfalls to our day. My contact at the hotel told me she wasn't going to be there when I arrived, but would arrive before the wedding. I asked my wedding planner to check us in and go to the bridal suite because she was getting there early. They wouldn't give her a key. I had to stand in line at the front desk over 10 minutes waiting for guests to decide which room they wanted, etc. I had all of my bridesmaids, all our dresses and bags, just standing there while my photographer waited in the hallway for me the check in. I've already paid alot of money for use of this one room for a few hours, you would think someone would meet me to let me in. After receiving the key, we went to the bridal suite to find a housekeeping cart in front of it. There wasn't a maid inside, it was empty and still dirty from the day before. Trash everywhere. We called and they sent a maid, but I was very disappointed. Dirty room and running behind will stress you out on your wedding day. The toilet in that room also didn't flush, we had to take the lid off to flush it. It was unacceptable for the amount of money they charge just for a ceremony. Also, when we viewed the property in the winter and again in the spring, there were tons of beautiful roses surrounding the ceremony site. Gorgeous! The day of the wedding, the first thing I noticed was there wasn't one rose, just looked like bushes. That was also disappointing. I understand roses don't bloom all year, but there are lots of summer blooming roses, you think there would be some color or flower blooming somewhere. We didn't let anything ruin our day, but things at this venue should have been much smoother and stree free.

The Westin is truly a getaway location. Make sure you plan to stay inside because if you have no car, taxi ride anywhere is 15 minutes long. Normally, I wouldn't bother leaving a resort but two of their restaurants were closed (Sunday and Monday) as well as their rental kayak shop. The massage was noisy and in a bright room. I am used to getting massages in a dark serene room. Oh, then there was the landscaper. The blower was so loud you could hardly hear the serene music. We got a 10% discount but not a pleasant experience. When we arrived, our room was not ready and we were not allowed a late check out. I would try them again, but check out on Sunday for sure.

Overall, we are satisfied with the quality of food and service we received at the Westin Lake Las Vegas. Our catering manager Karli made sure that our wedding would go as smoothly and as nicely as possible. She helped us not only with great ideas of how to plan our wedding properly, but also recommended other great vendors whose service prices were reasonable. The wedding was held at the Baraka Room of the hotel. We didn't have any bad experience throughout the whole wedding. The food was great and served in time. After the wedding the hotel gave us a complimentary vip suite for newly weds.

The perfect place for a classy Las Vegas destination wedding. I was such a mess planning for the wedding, because I have never been that type of girl. Every hole that needed to be filled, Randee (the catering managed), took care of it. Also, my cake turned out EXACTLY like I wanted it. All I did was send them a picture, and they duplicated it. I had the ceremony at Andalusian Gardens, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The sun setting in a desert in a magnificent ambiance. Luckily, the sun sets on the other side of the building, so there are no blinding or scorching rays on the party. I wouldn't change anything about my wedding that Loews basically put together for me.

I would love to get married here in 2012. How I wish the wedding packages/guest per head charges were more affordable & reasonable considering that although this place maybe beautiful, it is far and away from the all the action & attractions at the strip. Given the many different competitive choices with elegant and classy hotels like the Bellagio or the Wynn, the Loews Las Vegas would have to offer a competitive rate on their wedding packages for me to consider having my reception here of 200 people.
