Giving hotel a five as it truly is a nice place with great service. The only detractor is the bar/restaurant Stellas. Service is spotty. Bartenders at night are awful and inconsistent. I sat there last night and asked about a particular bourbo...
n with the word Toast on it. The bartender said "I think it must be in the class of bourbons that have a flavor profile that is like toast but I don't know. You should Google it." she then ignored me until I just gave up and left. This is not the v first time I had such an experience. Just the first time I am mentioning it.
That said, I don't want the hotel to look bad because it's poorly managed lobby restaurant. Front desk staff are super friendly. Especially Dhimitriana.

My check-in experience with Diamond was fantastic! I got into town about 3 hours early and fully expected to have to wait until 3pm to check-in. I asked if an early check-in would be possible on such short notice and she made it happen!

Upon arrival the valet pushed very hard to get us to give him the car and didn't want to allow us to go check in while the car was parked in the arrival bay. Valet cost is 42 per night. We ended up self parking for 6.5 per night and while goi...
ng so witnessed a valet driving recklessly through the ramp.
The room was very noisy. Even on the top floor there was a ton of city noise that prevented good sleep.
The lobby was nice, but take the elevator since it's a long way up. The restaurant was good for the elite breakfast.

Front desk layout is difficult to find (on another floor from drop-off area), poorly designed. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful when I was told we could not offload in the valet area, which is also the drop-off area. The maid service/st...
aff was very loud banging the heavy metal doors starting at 8am - was hoping to sleep in until 10 but that was impossible. Overall, a nice hotel, but needs some staff adjustments and awareness training.
