Throughout the hotel guests will experience soothing water-inspired wall coverings and carpets in natural textures. Thanks to our $4.3 million renovation, guests are welcomed into a chic new lobby with contemporary chandeliers, a ‘living wall’ water feature, and cozy seating arranged for easy convenience to electrical outlets. Each of the guestrooms and suites feature warm serene neutral colors highlighted with cool aquatic blues and accented with soft gold metals. The 17,182 square feet of event space sports new wall coverings, carpeting, contemporary furnishings, and distinctive artwork.

The Westin was the perfect location to host our special day! The staff was amazing and accommodated to all of our wedding needs in having both our ceremony and reception at the hotel. Shout out to Julie for taking over during the pandemic and making sure we were able to have the wedding of our dreams, to Chef Scott because the food was amazing and Mark who always ensured we were taken care of throughout the festivities. We are always looking back to how perfect the day was and we can't thank The Westin and it's staff enough!

Amazing venue. All the staff were great! Julie was amazing! The rooms were very nice. I had a wonderful wedding thanks to the vendors and staff at the Westin.

We loved every minute of our planning and the wedding with the Westin. The catering coordinator Cayleen is awesome - organized, quick to respond to requests and easily handled all of our last minute changes! The chef Scott worked with us to create a delicious meal and the staff the day of the wedding was also fantastic.

We had a great wedding. I had the pleasure of working with Ashley Loffredo. I was blown away by her service and professionalism throughout the whole process. She really tried to ensure our wedding went smoothly and as perfect as possible. She is really experienced in her role and it shows. She gave the best recommendations and tips. However, there were a couple of things that disappointed me when I heard feedback from my guest after the wedding. This feedback has nothing in regards to Ashley’s service. She and Chef Scott were outstanding. This is in regards to the Westin serving staff and the banquet manager. We had about six guest not show up so we just assume their plated meals would be left out on the tables and our other guest would either box it or just eat it.That did not happen. I asked Ashley about that after the wedding day so apparently your meals get forfeited. Which I did not know and I am not happy that I paid $330 worth of food that probably went to the staff. Regarding the night of service, there was one waitress who had the meanest look on her face like she did not want to be there. She and the rest of the staff were removing everybody's food and drinks when they were unfinished. My guest would go up to the bathroom or photo booth at my request because we had it for a certain amount of time. My guest would come back with their drinks and meals gone. Many people said their tables were cleared very fast. I appreciated the service but their half full drinks would be cleared too. I found that to be a waste especially when you pay so much for food and drinks. Had I known the staff would clear unfinished cocktails so fast, I would have made an announcement to my guests to hold on to their drinks for dear life. Our cap was reached very fast because people had to go up and get more drinks since their half full drinks were removed. Our wedding cake was cut but half the people did not get to eat the cake because it was removed by the came back from dancing or taking photos. What a waste of delicious wedding cake. Sabrina the banquet manager did save the top of our wedding cake which was very nice of her. I saw her that afternoon and when she gave me the cake but she did not tell me we left our cake stand. I called her that evening and she stated the cake stand was on her desk. I had to request my friend to drive back to VA.Beach and pick up the cake stand. When he went to the staff area to pick up the stand he saw one of the lights we rented on a cart. Sabrina never said we left anything behind. I just thought it would be a courtesy to let us now if we did. Overall, it was still a great wedding and everyone said they had a great time. I would certainly still recommend the Westin. The venue is beautiful and spacious. They give a lot of freedom to do as you please as long it is within their guidelines. Just be mindful of what I pointed out.

We knew before we were engaged that we wanted to have our reception at the Westin. When we met Ashley, she was so friendly and accommodating to all our questions and concerns. Through out the year, she stayed in contact with us and helped us stay on track. She worked with our coordinator and other venders, even helping us book the best people to work with! She shared her recommendations, including the DJ from her own wedding - who blew everyone away. People have been talking about our wedding for a month now, and we couldn't be happier to hear it! We are huge foodies, and knew from the moment we met Scott that we had hit the jackpot. He worked with us and created a tasting menu that hit all the marks - from southern comfort to New York Italian. When we couldn't agree on a type of crab cake - he combined the two and created an original for us. Wedding food is something we tend to remember, and our was not one to be forgotten. Many couples don't get to enjoy their meals on their wedding day - but Ashley and Scott made sure that we did. They had a tray with two full meals, desserts, and our beverages of choice waiting for us in our hotel room at the end of the night. Go with the Westin if you want good food, to feel taken care of, and your day to go smoothly!!!

We held our cocktail hour and reception at the Westin in Town Center, Virginia Beach. From the very beginning, we knew we would have a great experience working with catering manager Ashley Loffredo and the whole Westin team. Ashley was extremely responsive to e-mails, phone calls, and requests to meet to plan out our meal, room layout, reception itinerary, and all the other details. The week before our wedding, we decided we would like to have signature drinks playing off of our last names, and the folks at the Westin not only made it happen, but even incorporated one of our wedding colors (coral) into the "Barger-ita"! Chef Scott prepared an amazing meal that was the product of combining a number of ideas that we liked from our tasting several months before the wedding. Several guests commented to me that their meal was the best food they had ever received at a wedding, and virtually everyone commented on how pleasant and subtle the wait staff was, even when catering to 135 guests! The Westin does have a minimum spending amount on food and drink, which from my initial browsing of wedding venues seemed in line with other higher-end hotels in the area. Obviously, the more guests that are attending, the easier it is to meet the cap, and for our guest count, we were able to provide our guests with a delicious plated dinner, hors devourers during the cocktail hour, and open bar the whole night without exceeding the cap.

The Westin was amazing! I am so happy that I chose this location for my wedding and ceremony. Everything was classy from the service, the food, and the decor. If I had to do it all over again I would not have chose another place because no other place in this area can top The Westin's elegance and style.

We did the reception at The Westin and they were fantastic. The food was delicious, the room looked amazing and the staff was incredible. Ashley Loffredo is the catering manager/wedding planning liaison and she is such a pleasure to work with. She helped me put together an amazing celebration that my family and friends are still talking about.

Our wedding reception was held at the Westin, it is very appropriately located near shops, restaurants in the center of Virginia Beach. The service was excellent, their packages helped us choose something that fit our needs and budget. Their staff was professional from beginning to end and we even got upgraded to a better room on our wedding night. Ashley, the catering manager at the Westin made sure that all the details and everything we wanted went according to plan. Every question was answered and they made our wedding reception exactly how we wanted it to be.
