My husband and I got married at the Woodmark in July, and we were so happy with our decision. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the staff at the Woodmark made sure the day ran incredibly smoothly. Leading up to the wedding, Ashley and her team were able to answer any questions we had and because of her professionalism and attention to detail, I was able to fully relax and enjoy every aspect of my wedding day. I highly recommend the Woodmark if you're looking for a gorgeous waterfront venue!
Just last month, my daughter and son-in-law had their wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa. Everyone enjoyed every minute of that special day! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful under the enormous white tent with Lake Washington as the backdrop! The food was outstanding and the banquet service was impeccable! The Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa is definitely the venue to consider if you're looking to host an elegant affair.
As a wedding photographer, I have photographed many weddings in the greater seattle area. But Weddings at the woodmark are also always the highpoint of my season. The service is impeccable. The onsite wedding planner, Brooke, is always kind, professional and so helpful! The boat ride after the ceremony on the Woodmark II Chris Craft is always the highlight for me. I look forward to my next wedding at this luxury waterfront wedding venue!
Great venue! Amazing view for the ceremony and as soon as my husband and I walked back up the aisle we were handed a glass of champagne. After photos, we were whisked away for a private boat ride on the lake with more champagne and some hor d'oeuvres from our cocktail hour. The food at dinner was all delicious and the staff was very attentive.
Wow.
The Woodmark went above and beyond to make our day so incredibly special. Working with Brooke was a dream. Her and her team were so incredibly delightful to work with leading up to the day, and on the day of, things could not have gone smoother.
The Woodmark does not only have weddings down to a science, but you truly cannot beat the views. And the boat ride! Such a unique aspect of our wedding. We cannot wait to see the photos! The tent provides a built up back up plan should it (knock on wood!) happen to rain on your day. The natural beauty on the waterfront and of the hotel had our guests giving such compliments!
We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Woodmark, and it was another generously well done event. The staff were delightful and the food, amazing!
We loved the Woodmark and wouldn't hesitate to do an event there again.
It was not a hard decision to make when we chose the Woodmark Hotel as our wedding venue. We instantly fell in love with the feel of the hotel as well as its location right on Lake Washington. Not only was the location exactly what we were looking for (and so much more) but the staff at the hotel were also great to work with from day one. Plus, we loved the idea of being able to have both our ceremony and reception in an elegant yet relaxed setting.
Brooke Gogerty, was especially impressive to work with. Her communication was timely, and she really worked with us on what we wanted and our budget. She was incredibly accommodating for us to have as many walk thrus as we needed with our other vendors. The team also worked with getting a room block set up for our guests from out of town and coordinated the delivery of our welcome baskets days leading up to the wedding. An added bonus, the hotel hosts a tasting menu event where we could go and taste all the options for our special day. Along the way we decided to have our rehearsal dinner at the hotel and they were again great to work with and helped us customize a casual and yummy menu.
Our wedding was hands down the best day of our lives and a large part of that was having the beautiful venue of the Woodmark Hotel accompanied by an impeccable staff led by Brooke.
The venue was perfect, guests said food was terrific, the appetizers were delightful. Working with Brooke was easy and she was very responsive and accommodating. They did say they would set everything up for the tables and the day of my mom was frantically doing it. But otherwise perfect!
We are so happy we decided to do our wedding at the Woodmark! We wanted a wedding that would showcase the beauty of Seattle during the summertime. We were debating between the Woodmark and a nice hotel in downtown Seattle, and definitely made the right decision. It is a lot calmer on the Eastside, and it felt like a little retreat away from the city. The great thing about the Woodmark is that there is indoor and outdoor space, allowing maximum flexibility. Having dinner out under the white tent by the water is breathtaking. Our out-of-town guests were in awe! It was fun to move inside for dancing, and there was plenty of room for our 150 guests. Brooke at the Woodmark went above and beyond to make it a special day. She allowed us to do multiple tastings, and was so easy to work with. The hotel service was excellent, and they made it such a special night with our wedding suite - it was filled with rose petals and desserts when we came up at the end of the night. We will celebrate our anniversary there for years to come!
The Woodmark was an absolute dream come true for us! We had perfect sunny weather out on the water for our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect. The ceremony and dinner space under the tent overlooking Lake Washington was amazing. The Woodmark is a classy wedding venue with all the amenities you will ever need. It was a huge bonus staying in the waterfront Woodmark Suite. All in all, the best boutique hotel you could get married at.
Our ceremony was so beautiful. I grew up seeing wedding ceremonies at this location and it was always a dream of mine to be able to have my wedding here. When we met with the Catering Manager, she did everything she could to help us make it possible with our budget. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
The Woodmark really fulfilled all my expectations of what I wanted for a small wedding. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better venue.
Where do I begin... I got married @ The Woodmark last weekend and if I could do it a billion times over again, I'd choose The Woodmark Hotel as my venue EVERY time. We chose The Woodmark for many reasons. A few being, it is nautical, but not CHEESY or THEME feeling. My husband and I were both collegiate rowers, so we felt like a somewhat nautical venue was fitting. The Woodmark is also extremely elegant and romantic, something I was really looking for too. It is also a HOTEL so our guests could just walk right up to their rooms after the reception. Can't get easier than that! And most important, Mallory was amazing to work with. She always responded to my e-mails within the same day or next day, made time to meet with my mom & I, picked up the phone, and treated my mom & I with true respect and a caring attitude. Even though she had many clients over the 14 months we worked with her, she treated us like her only one the entire time with how attentive she was. The bar and food situation went off without a hitch. ALL my guests told me the food tasted amazing, and I was so pleased the staff got them out to our 140 guests in a timely manner. The layout and perks of getting married at the Woodmark made me feel extra special. Being right on the lake made for some amazing photos, and having our sparkler send off up the huge stairs outside by the lobby was spectacular. The canopy was the perfect ceremony/dinner location rain or shine (which it is important to have a plan for rain, being in Seattle!) and the library is my favorite room in the whole hotel, so having cocktail hour in there (because of the recent rain) was beautiful! Especially with our slideshow running off the tv in there and entering cocktail hour above from the beautiful staircase where everyone could see us. I had a relaxing massage at Still Spa a few days before, spent the night with my bridesmaids in a suite the night before, and enjoyed the night of with my new husband with chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, rose petals, and a nice hand written note from Mallory herself. We went out on the Woodmark boat for half our cocktail hour too. As I said, all extra perks we couldn't get anywhere else! Mallory and her assistant even put ribbons on 140 chocolate boxes for us, something I did not expect her to do! She truly does care about each and every one of her clients, and I would without a doubt, recommend Mallory and The Woodmark as a wedding venue to everyone.
If you want a stunning waterfront wedding, then there is no setting more perfect than The Woodmark. My husband & I knew this was our dream wedding venue from the moment we stepped onto the property. The elegant al fresco venue is outdone only by the impeccable staff & catering provided by The Woodmark. Mallory, our wedding coordinator, was superb & an absolute joy to work with. She was so responsive & helped us execute our perfect day. We could't have done it without her! The food, beverage & dinner service was top of the line and our guests still compliment the high-quality service. We are so lucky that we were able to have our wedding at one of the most beautiful venues in Washington State - we highly recommend The Woodmark to anyone who is looking for the perfect venue to create a timeless, elegant and unforgettable wedding.
My groom and I had to push up our wedding date up and decided make it a SUPRISE wedding as well. Our wedding coordinator and staff at the Woodmark not only made us feel heard and supported , they are the reason our wedding was such a beautiful success! The foods venue and services are all high quality and worth the money! We have nothing short of " best wedding ever!" And " I had an amazing time" compliments from our guests. The venders we used , reccomonded by the Woodmark , were also just as amazing ! THANK YOU WOODMARK HOTEL for not only making our special ( and sometime stressful )day an inspiring experience for us and our family and friends. Brides to be , if you can have a wedding at the Woodmark ...DO IT!
Recently had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception for 50 guests at the Woodmark. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and very attentive to our needs and requests. The food was amazing.
My daughter's wedding was beyond beautiful. Staff went out of their way to make sure all went smoothly. Pricy, yes - but you will not be disappointed. By far one of the best wedding spots in Seattle.
I just got married at the Woodmark and I'm so glad I did! Mallory, the catering coordinator, was a huge help and great to work with. The food was beyond excellent (the chef even made an off-menu appetizer for the groom!). And the view can't be beat, especially that gorgeous tent. Definitely a pricier spot (though less than some), but you get what you pay for!
My only complaint was the room block was a bit difficult - we weren't able to get all our family on it because space filled up sooner than the room block deadline we were given, and the front desk had some issues pulling up those who were on it. That being said, Mallory quickly figured things out for the later issue.
Really perfect wedding venue. Especially if you don't want to deal with little details (no rentals for tables, chairs, linens, etc..., caterer is onsite and excellent, etc).
Wonderful staff, great quality food, very attentive; helped make a busy busy day run smoothly And worked well with my wedding coordinator on the day of. I planned everything, and just had a day of coordinator. They worked well together, as well as worked well with me before hand. Highly recommend!
We booked our wedding in early fall, and it was gorgeous. The staff has been great, I feel like a queen! Lisa
We looked at several venues and instantly fell in love with the Woodmark Hotel. Everything was amazing. From the food, service, hotel staff, to the gorgeous view of Lake Washington. Our wedding ceremony was such a dream, and our reception was a party that we and our guests will never forget!
We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was beautiful. We got a room that was perfect for about 40 people. We were able to walk around outside first and got some amazing pictures in front of the wine wall. The food was great and the service was great as well. When we were trying to schedule the point person kept changing, I think we went through about 3 different people which was a little strange but it still ended up being an amazing evening. They even wrote our initials on the dessert plates in chocolate. I would definitely recommend this location for a romantic and intimate setting, very high class and nice!
gorgeous venue, great food and good service. Only negative is it's pricy and you have to end by 11pm. Overall absolutely perfect night!!
