Meet Davey, the creative force behind True Colors Beauty Co. With a passion for artistry that blossomed from childhood, growing up with four sisters. Davey has transformed that early spark into a successful career as a talented makeup artist, with 12 years professional experience. Davey has expanded his artistry for events like; NYFW, Kennedey awards, and presidential inaugurations. His artistry has been featured on many local magazines such a DC luxury magazine, Washingtonian magazine, what’s up weddings, The knot, and more. Davey has an exceptional ability to enhance natural beauty and bring clients’ visions to life. Davey's easygoing personality and attention to detail ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone who sits in his chair. He wanted to create True Colors Beauty Co, as he loves to educate others and really wanted to create a company to not only help the DMV and more to look stunning for events, but also give an opportunity to other inspiring artist. He enjoys learning from top artist’s in the industry with continuing education, always inspired to grow and be the best artist he can be for his clients. He masters in a very diverse portfolio, and is a pro in the wedding industry traveling wherever is needed. He states “ Its important for me to give or boost confidence in women. They are what keeps this world going.” When he is not working with clients, he enjoys being in warm weather, traveling and making memories with friends and Family.

This is our independently-driven make up artist who has been with us for 3 years and is forever dedicated to growing her artistry. Melanie's success has lead her to work with many amazing clients between NYFW, Olympic athletes, branding, boudoir and bridal. Her vulnerability and passion for creating, connecting and empowering women is what creates the ultimate experience here at True Colors Beauty Co. If Melanie does not have a make up brush in hand - you can find her training clients in her home gym, styling boudoir photoshoots, coaching cheer or traveling with her family. She states "You can't pour from an empty cup which is why everything I do, fills me up!"

This is Taylor, and she a professional makeup artist. Creating beauty and connecting with people is what she live’s for. For her, being a makeup artist is more than just enhancing someone’s exterior, it’s uncovering someone’s true beauty and helping to reveal that person’s inner confidence. Her experience is broad and consists of creating timeless looks for many special occasions. She pride herself on educating her clients as makeup can feel very empowering for people. Beauty is really about self-expression and self-acceptance. She stated “We are all uniquely beautiful and that should be celebrated”! She works on site primarily in the DVM area, but is open to traveling. When she is not working with True Colors Beauty co, she is enjoying time with her son.

Lizzie is a passionate makeup artist with 3 years of experience creating stunning looks. Lives in Baltimore, MD, she transforms her clients' visions into beautiful reality, whether for a wedding, special event, or a night out. She love’s blending creativity with skill to enhance natural beauty. When She’s not working on clients, you’ll find her traveling the world and volunteering, using her skills to give back and make a positive impact. You could also say hello to her as your local bartender, go grab a drink from her and book her for your wedding day!

Emily is a Makeup enthusiast with a passion for drama, sparkle, and making you feel like a queen! With 2.5 years of experience at Mac Cosmetics, and True Colors beauty co. she’s honed her skills in soft glam/creative looks that bring your vision to life. lives for Halloween vibes, bold styles, and the magic of transformation. Kristi is a skilled professional licensed cosmetologist & has been specializing in all things hair for the past 9 years! She brings smiles & good energy wherever she goes. Kristi loves continuing her education by staying up to date & perfecting all the new & trendy hair styles! She is dedicated to providing the hair style that works best for you, by bringing out your best features & making you feel confident & beautiful! When she’s not busy with True Colors doing weddings or special events you can find her either with her dog Tank, vacationing somewhere OR in the heart of Leonardtown MD, in her suite performing stunning colors & cuts & becoming a content connoisseur! Gigi (also known as Heather) is an award winning hair artist with 25+ years of experience. She is licensed in the states of MD, SC, and the nations capitol of DC. She has competed in and won several hair show competitions over two decades. One of her favorite accomplishments was styling hair backstage for her lifelong friend Christian Siriano’s first NYFW show in September of 2008. To this day he continues to trust her artistry for his clients, staff, family, and friends. Gigi has a deep passion for making women look and feel their absolute best. While she loves a classic and vintage look, her expertise allow her to create custom looks curated for each individual bride. She is dedicated to making brides not only feel amazing but to realize their dream ‘glam squad’ bridal experience! Her continuing education and evolution in hair artistry is never ending. It includes certification in 3 separate brands of extensions, certified board color specialist training, Keratin Complex certification, as well as master cutting, color, styling, and product knowledge classes with luxury brands such as Aveda, Oribe, Kérastase, Pravana, Keratin, OlaPlex, and many others. Outside of her top tier work, Gigi is a mother of 4. Her oldest daughter, Macie who is also on our team, has given Gigi 4 of the most beautiful grand daughters. If you’re lucky enough, you could have this Mother/Daughter dynamic duo for your hair team.

This is Macie! She grew up as a hairdresser’s daughter and in the salon since she could pick up a broom to sweep hair and have been licensed for almost 10 years. She has been with Davey since the very beginning of this company when it was just the two of them to start. Macie states, “It’s been an amazing journey filled with laughs and countless opportunities. I’m so grateful for each and every booking and bride that I have done or have yet to do and for allowing me to be a part of such special days.” Although she is no longer behind a chair in a salon, she still keeps in contact with a lot of her clients because they have truly become friends and family. When shes not making your hairstyle dreams come true, she is at home playing Martha Stewart. Her husband and her have four amazing girls who keeps her on her toes more than any bridal party could ever do.

She’s dedicated to your every beauty need! She lives in the sunshine state but that doesn’t stop her from being available for you whenever you need! When she’s not busy coordinating events or juggling schedules of the team, she’s enjoying time at home with her family of 5 and making memories exploring new beaches of Florida. Her heart is big and she shows that in her personal and professional life. Knowing how special this time in your life is, she dives into her ability to help your getting ready moments go off without a hitch making her an essential part of our team!

Hi, I’m Nicole, a professional makeup artist with over 16 years of experience in the beauty industry. My journey began in 2009 when I trained with a respected makeup company, where I eventually found my passion not only in artistry but in education—teaching both product knowledge and makeup application classes. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on editorial photo shoots, including features in What's Up Weddings magazine. Since 2017, I’ve specialized exclusively in bridal makeup, and there's truly nothing I love more than being part of such a joyful, love-filled day. Helping brides feel confident, radiant, and beautiful is why I do what I do. When I’m not blending eyeshadow or perfecting a bridal glow, you’ll likely find me working at a local liquor store or at home doting on my kitten, Princess Pearl (yes, she runs the house).
