True Society by The White Dress - Portland

Do not trust this dress shop to size you correctly. I ended up buying a dress two sizes too big at their professional recommendation. I ended up spending over $600 on alterations just to correct the size, on top of what I had to pay for the hem and bustle.

BRIDES BEWARE!! TRIED TO BRIBE ME TO CONVINCE MY WEDDING PLANNER TO DELETE HER REVIEW!! My initial experience here when finding my dress was great. The nightmare started once I received the dress. It arrived way too small and way too tight to the point I could barely get in it and couldn’t move or breathe. They also charged me for hemming and hemmed my dress to be over 2 inches off the ground even though the heels I bought for the wedding were shorter than the ones I was measured in. They remeasured me after seeing how off the fitting was and the original measurements were smaller by 2 inches than what they measured me that day, even though I lost weight since then. Clearly this was a mistake on their part and instead of owning up to their mistake right away they told me I got bigger, but that doesn’t justify the fact that it arrived over 2 inches shorter than it should be because I definitely didn’t grow in 5 months. They recommended I go to their best seamstress and that it’s an easy fix and she can fix the fit and length no problem so I don’t need to order a new dress. I trusted them and had a consultation with her but she told me there’s no way to fix it without ruining the dress. I emailed the salon and they never responded so I paid them a visit with my wedding planner and my coordinator. As soon as I walk through the door they say “oh we were just about to respond to your email!” They insisted it’s fixable but with the facts help and support of my coordinators they finally agreed they made the mistake and ordered me a new dress. I went 2 sizes bigger than what they suggested to be safe and they said that size was “ready to ship” (this was May 3rd) and said the dress will be here first week of June at the LATEST (takes 1 months to ship a ready dress from australia??). They said they would send me updates at least every week including if there’s no updates. The second week of June comes and I haven’t heard a single update from them. I sent them two emails by this point and haven’t gotten a response even though they kept saying I was their top priority. I ended up missing my alteration’s appointment because my dress never arrived when promised. Once my coordinator reached out to them they finally contacted me saying “we were just about to respond to your email” but by this point I know that’s not the case. They told me the dress is ready to ship which is what they told me May 3rd and would be here in 2 weeks, so it SHOULD arrive 2 weeks before my wedding IF it arrives when promised. At this point my wedding planner and coordinator started calling around bridal shops to see if I can buy the same dress off the rack because they were worried I wouldn’t even have a dress for my wedding. After my wedding planner left a review they called me saying the dress will now be here in 2 days and asked me to talk to my wedding planner to reconsider her review and offered a 15% refund. My dress ended up arriving overnight after that conversation which makes me questing everything they told me about the shipping before. It ended up fitting perfectly and I’m very happy I went 2 sizes bigger than what they suggested. I never got the 15% refund and I’m assuming it’s because my planner never deleted or changed her review. I genuinely believe I wouldn’tve had a dress for my wedding if I hadn’t reached out.

The staff at True Society was so kind and welcoming. I worked primarily with Genna who was so nice, helpful and patient with myself, my mom and MIL. Even when I came back and completely changed my dress type, she was so willing to help me find my perfect dress. When I had called to pick up my dress, they were willing to work with me to get my dress before my alterations appt, despite my tough work schedule. They ensured me not to worry and they would make it work. Great atmosphere and great people. They also helped me find my perfect alterations- Tailored in White, when I had a horrible time with my previous alterations company! Highly recommend! Thank you TS!

My experience here was absolutely horrible. I made my appointment, and I only was able to try on a few dresses. The employee kept looking at her watch, and by the end, she was very pushy to get a sale. I felt so pressured, and she even told me this was the last available dress in the entire world of this model. At the end, I ended up purchasing it and feeling very unsure about it, and I made the $1200 deposit. At this time, they also asked for a percentage tip which ended up being a significant amount, and I felt very pressured in this too, despite not even seeing the dress in its final form yet. I thought dress shopping was supposed to be a wonderful experience, however it ended up being such a horrible experience here. A few days later, I knew I had made a mistake. I called multiple times, and they kept telling me that the manager would call me back to discuss ways we might be able to fix this problem. They said that the manager would call on several occasions which they never ended up calling (it was almost a week out now, when I called only 3 days after the purchase). I finally called back on a time when they were supposed to call me, right before they were closed. Once I was finally able to talk to the manager, they were extremely unhelpful. They said that there is nothing that can be done at this point as the dress had been ordered. I asked about possibly getting store credit to get a different dress, or a return, however they refused either of these options. What did they offer? They offered to take pictures of the dress on a manikin, after I pay an additional $1200, so now $2400 total, and give me the pictures to try to sell in the private market. They were well aware that you cannot get more than $1200 for the dress on the private market, but had to audacity to ask me to pay the additional $1200 at this point. I could not believe it and I felt so ripped off. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My wedding planner even got involved, and she had similar difficulties getting a hold of anybody there, and when she was finally able to speak to them along with the owner, they refused to remedy the situation in any way. This was again only a few days after purchasing the dress that I was attempting to change things. I ended up going to Charlotte's in Beaverton, and they were everything I was hoping for. They will let me try on as many dresses as I wanted, I did not make me feel pressured at all. It was the experience that I imagined buying my wedding dress would be like. I would not risk going to the shop, because they are all about the bottom line and are not about the customer. The customer service is horrible, and the experience was also horrible. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. DO NOT GO HERE.

This was the first bridal salon I went to when I began the hunt for my wedding dress. I had been here before with friends when they found their wedding dress, so I was very disappointed when my experience was not great. As a plus size bride, I was concerned about how the dresses would fit, and what selection I would have to choose from. While they did have lots of dresses to choose from, I felt like my stylist wasn't listening to what I was looking for or my budget. I felt like my consultant was WAY too salesy, I felt SO much pressure to purchase the dress that I liked, but I didn't love. I expressed that I wanted to wait and think about it, and she kept pushing and pushing, "why dont i buy the dress today, and come back next weekend and make sure I love it" She also said "buying a wedding dress is an emotional decision, not a logical one, and you need to make a decision right now" It didn't make me feel great, I was overwhelmed, didn't feel listened too -- and felt so much pressure. While the dresses were beautiful, and the shop itself was very cute -- I would just warn people that visit to maybe expect the hard sale at the end of your visit.

This review is solely to alert folks that this gorgeous bridal boutique totally screws the pooch after you've spent your hard-earned dollars. If you do choose to buy your wedding dress from them, be sure to lie about your wedding date by at least a month if not two AND be in close contact with your bridal consultant to ensure your dress is being shipped as ordered/paid for. SALES I had a great experience buying my dress. It's posh, beautiful, and fun. The sales person will do everything they can to sell you one of their dresses that day. The 15% they offer will make your dress cost about what it would anywhere else. SEAMSTRESS If this were an *actual* high-end bridal boutique they would have an on-site dedicated seamstress to ensure you can have appropriate alterations made for the dress to fit perfectly as it should. Instead, they have "recommended" seamstresses you have to independently book with after you order your dress. The one I went to only took cash and told me my dress will fit properly if I use double-sided tape. Needless to say, this wasn't the case and I spent many moments on my wedding day adjusting my dress because it wasn't tailored properly. The tape did nothing against my stupid 36G boobs. Additionally, I have rash where the tape was because I am stupidly allergic to adhesives.. The seamstress I went to is clearly not reporting their income and I didn't feel good about supporting their "under the table" business. She did not tell me she was "cash only" when I booked my appointment and also didn't accept a check or Venmo. This would've all been forgiven if the dress had *actually* fit properly. COMMUNICATION Good luck getting in touch with your bridal consultant after you've purchased your dress. My dress was supposed to "overnight ship" no later than 11/24. I called the shop and left a voicemail on 11/24 to make sure the dress was on the way and never heard back. On 11/26, I emailed my loser millennial bridal consultant and didn't hear back. So on Monday 11/29, I drove downtown to inquire in person. The said loser bridal consultant said she would "check into it" and call me back later that day. When I didn't hear back 30 minutes before closing, I called and was informed they hadn't heard back from the vendor (Wilderly) and would update me the next day. I called two days later and left a voicemail. I'm sure by now (if you're still reading this), you aren't surprised to hear I didn't receive a call back. I sent an email and cc'd the owner. Then I heard back that the dress would be delivered in mid-December because it got "lost," but they would credit the overnight fee back to me. Yay them, but what about the wedding in a few weeks with a dress that needs to be tailored? MONEY-GRUBBING OWNER It's clear the owner of this boutique is only in it to turn a buck and clearly doesn't care about what happens after the sale. They should ensure their stupid millennial employees did a good job after the sale, would hire a full-time seamstress/tailor, and would fully compensate any bride who has to go through half of what I did to obtain their over-priced dress. This place tried to pull the "Covid card" and "supply-chain" issue thing, but that doesn't explain why they were horrible at communication about the issues. Plus, it was all gaslighting. When I called Wilderly directly to inquire, I was informed the dress was never requested to be "overnight-shipped" until early December.

Staff was wonderful! Carly helped me pick my dress and absolutely nailed my vision. She was great at managing my loved ones and keeping the appointment about what I was looking for. My dress came earlier than expected and was beautiful! Carly had measured me for a custom hem that was so perfect even the seamstress that did my other alterations was impressed!

SUPERB SHOPPING EXPERIENCE This is the BEST place to come for a dress in Portland if you're plus-sized and have a budget in the $1000 - $2500+ range. It's the only shop I wanted to go to and fully intended to find my dress the first time there to take advantage of their 15% off deal. Genna was fabulous and made the dress-buying experience feel comfortable instead of daunting like I imagined it would. She had great ideas on what would work based on my preferences and tight timeline. I feel grateful to have had a bridal stylist with such expertise as Genna. Morning weekday fitting was the way to go, as the downtown parking was a breeze. My sisters and I enjoyed the complimentary champagne they poured us and felt very pampered in their upscale shop. You don't have to be fancy to go to this fancy af bridal boutique, but you will be sure to find a dress you fancy.

I visited The White Dress during their Summer Sample Sale, and I'm SO glad I did! I was so nervous going in and I didn't feel like I would walk out with anything... but my stylist Natalie was so helpful and made me feel so beautiful in every gown she pulled for me! I tried on about 6 dresses during my appointment, and ended up saying YES to the first one I tried on! I'm so over the moon about my experience at The White Dress and I will tell every bride to shop there! Love, love, loved it!

I worked with Natalie for my consultation and she was outstanding to work with! She was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to work with while finding my perfect dress! Without her thoughts and guidance, I wouldn't have chosen the dress that was absolutely perfect for me. I highly recommend The White Dress for anyone who is looking for high quality customer service, amazing quality dresses and fabulous try-on rooms so you can enjoy this experience!

This was my first dress shop. They had many beautiful dresses and I tried on dresses for 2 hours. There were several I liked and I kept coming up with ways to "fix" them to make them better for what I was looking for. The second to last dress was beautiful but not the color I wanted. She went to get another dress from the same designer and It was the perfect color. I asked why she was hiding that dress behind the wall and as soon as I was able to see the whole thing, I fell in love. I put it on and it was so perfect and beautiful. It was THE ONE! We all started crying as I was standing there in the dress. Jenna was amazing and patient with me as I kept saying no to everything she brought. But I walked out of there with a receipt to my dress and I am so happy that I went there to look for dresses.

The White Dress was my second appointment of the day and the staff did a great job bringing me gowns that fit my description of what I wanted and most importantly, were within my price range. I found my dress there and loved it! Due to concerns about covid-related shipping disruptions I paid extra to have my dress "expedited" (got it in 5.5 months vs. 6.5-7 months) which worked out great. I had plenty of time to get it altered before our wedding. I used one of the people recommended by The White Dress to alter my dress and she did a fantastic job. I really have no complaints other than that on the day I bought my dress I was given a very hard selling technique (told I could only get 15% off if I purchased the dress at that moment and cancelled my other bridal salon appointments for the day) which I was a bit put off by. I ended up buying the dress later in the day (and still getting the 15% off I will say) but felt the hard selling techniques were unprofessional. I did love my dress however and had a great experience with the ordering and picking up process! They have a great selection and a beautiful location.

The White Dress was my second bridal shop stop. I actually called only about 30 mins before they were able to squeeze me in during the day, which I was extremely happy about since I had time to kill before my two other bridal shop appointments! I had a vision in mind with all the dresses I liked on a Pinterest board. I arrived at The White Dress and was amazed by how clean and beautiful it was. The individual bridal suites are so pretty and perfect for COVID protocols. I felt clean and safe. The stylist who helped me was A M A Z I N G. I cannot say enough good things about Carly!!!!! She truly was extremely sweet, friendly, personable and she made me feel comfortable and welcomed. She helped me picked dresses and being someone who doesn’t wear dresses or know much, it was extremely helpful. She made sure I tried whatever I wanted and encouraged me to even try something I didn’t have in mind and I am SO glad she encouraged me to think outside the box and my mindset because that was the dress I ended up choosing!! It was the exact opposite of what I had in mind and what I thought would look best on me. Even after that, she encouraged me to still try on others just in case and to make sure I totally knew. I love how they have you walk down their hallway with their large mirrors and a bouquet, veil imagining yourself walking down the aisle. It made it all feel extremely real and it made me so happy and felt like a real bride. I cannot thank Carly enough for her amazing service and help. Thank you so much!!

The White Dress was my third bridal salon appointment but I wish I had made it my first! My experience here was amazing. Genna was my associate and I could not have asked for anyone better. She listened to what my vision was and we found my gorgeous dress. Definitely the first place I recommend to brides.

My experience at The White Dress was absolutely amazing, I am forever grateful for my consultant Carly! She listened so well to my vision and was on board with everything I said. She was wonderful and clipped me into every dress so well! I was blown away by her support and energy when it came to find my perfect dress!

I loved having my own bridal suite and everyone in the shop was so kind and positive. I was in a time crunch for my wedding so they helped me find the perfect sample dress i could take home the same day. LOVED my experience!

Natalie made my visit so special. She figured out my style quickly and helped me find some wonderful dresses to try on. The 3rd dress was the one, and I'm so excited to wear it on our day. Everyone was very cautious and thoughtful with COVID-19 precautions. Only two guests, but I video chatted my friends in and everyone wore masks, except while trying on dresses.

I found wedding dress shopping to be miserable- at no fault to any of the dress shops I visited. It is such a huge decision and envisioning all the changes and how the dress will actually look when it fits correctly is miserable. The White Dress had an INCREDIBLE selection of beautiful dresses, in all price ranges, and all styles- there is truly something for everyone here. The women I worked with no longer works there which is ok because she was rather pushy. I felt very rushed to make a decision. I came back the next day and got my dress but still with hesitation. Where the White Dress really won my appreciation was in how they handled issues with customizing my dress with the designer. I wanted an extended train and there was a lot of back and forth in not being able to do it. The owner of the shop and her team worked it out and I got my dream dress.

I originally visited April 2018 when I first began dress shopping. The experience was nothing short of amazing - champagne for my entourage, elegant shop, beautiful selection of gowns, and experienced stylists that made you feel comfortable! I ultimately ended up buying my gown at a different store. Unfortunately, the dress I purchased from the other store turned out to be a scam. With only 7 months left to my wedding, I was panicked! I shared my story on a Portland wedding group and within minutes I received a message from Amanda (the owner of The White Dress). She personally contacted me and offered me an appointment for the next day! When I arrived at my appointment I was greeted by Amanda and the stylist who helped me at my initial appointment 9 months ago. Everyone was extremely welcoming and happy to help me find my dress. The staff helped lift my spirits, build my confidence, and we found MY dress!! My stylist Catherine, Amanda, and the whole shop are genuinely great at their jobs and want to help their brides! Great people are hard to find in this industry it seems, but The White Dress is full of them. I love my dress more than the one I originally purchased and LOVE my experience a million times more.

My favorite dress shop that I stepped foot in during my dress shopping excursion. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very friendly. Easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable for someone who is shy. All the dresses were incredible. Loved it!

I cannot express how happy I was at The White Dress! This was the first bridal shop I was actually able to look around and pick out gowns that I wanted to try on. The gowns are clearly organized by style and very easy to navigate. My bridal stylist Catherine was beyond amazing! She made me and my entire bridal party feel so comfortable and gave us an overall amazing experience! Catherine helped me pick out dresses that had what I wanted and also gave me great recommendations while still staying within my budget! I was able to find my dream dress at The White Dress and it was nothing short of a magical moment thanks to The White Dress team and of course a special thank you to my amazing bridal stylist who shared this special moment with me and my loved ones ♥️

This was a wonderful experience! I live in California but wanted to share in the joy of trying on gowns for the first time with my mom, nana, aunt, sister and cousin who live in Portland which is where i grew up. The shop was great! I love how the dresses were sorted by style. The private sitting room and adjacent private changing room was perfect for my mom and nana to have comfy places to sit and a level a privacy while changing I appreciated. Not mention lovely champagne. P We had an absolutely wonderful stylist named Catherine who just made everything so easy and found great dresses. She made sure to note the aspects I loved of gowns and made The whole experience enjoyable. While I didn’t walk out with a dress (I’m not one to make a instant decision), I can’t think of a better place to try on dresses. Everyone had a lovely time and it really made the experience a memory we won’t forget. Thank you Catherine!

I can't even begin to say how wonderful this place is! They are so welcoming and fun! There are so many dresses to choose from and the staff knows exactly how to help pick the perfect one for your body type! The whole process felt fun, not stressful! I HIGHLY recommend going to the White Dress to purchase your wedding gown!

The White Dress is wonderful from the first call to make the dress appointment until my dress pick up. Kelly was my consultant and she was great. Very professional and she asked lots of questions about my wedding and my fiance and just made the whole process very comfortable. I took my mom and sister with me to my appointment and we were all so impressed with the bridal salon, the service, and selection of dresses. We were able to pick out a few dresses and then we were shown back to our private bridal suite and offered champagne. I found my perfect dress at that first appointment and was able to take advantage of the discount which was awesome and made my dream dress more affordable. My dress took about 6 months to arrive which was exactly what Kelly told me when I ordered the dress. When I went to pick up my dress I brought with me quite a large entourage, I think there were about 10 of us, and there was no problem accommodating the larger group and we were very comfortable. It was just great. I would highly recommend The White Dress to new brides-to-be.

This shop is so gorgeous and the staff is amazing. Every dress I tried on was beautiful but of course I found the one. It was amazing, my photographer even posted a photo of it after the wedding and got an insane amount of messages asking where I had bought it, I told her to send them your way! Thank you so much!

Words cannot express how amazing my time was at The White Dress! The shop is so clean and elegant. When I first walked in I was blown away with the class and presentation of everything. My consultant Carly was AMAZING😍 I was in Portland dress shopping (traveled from Alaska) and this was my third stop in one day and I was getting very flustered, tired and overwhelmed. Carly was so down to earth and listened to exactly what I wanted. She didn’t try to sell me on anything. If I made a certain face, it was back to the drawing board. I was stuck between three gorgeous dresses and just as I was about to get rid of one, we agreed that I should try it on again. Carly threw on a gorgeous hair accessory and veil on me and that. Was. It. I had found the dress! The shop was so accommodating to the large group of family members that I brought with me and let us take as much time as we needed to take everything in and pick as many dresses as we liked. Everything was so perfect. So very grateful to Carly and The White Dress!

I had the best time here. The environment is wonderful. I had Carly’s help and she was so down to earth and very helpful with my wants and ideas. I would recommend this place for sure. Super helpful and efficient found the perfect dress for me in under an hour.

My White Dress experience was phenomenal! We drank bubbly in our private suite. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to choose my dress. My dress came 4 weeks early, and fit like a glove. I needed very minimal alterations. They also, referred me to my alterations lady in Oregon City (Seams to Fit Bridal). The drive was a stretch, but she was amazing, very flexible, and accommodating.

I bought my dress from The White Dress in 2017. I am so glad I went there! It was the only store I went to and I had no intentions of getting my dress at the first store I looked at. However, the staff at The White Dress were INCREDIBLE. They made me and my family feel so welcomed and I felt like I was royalty. I was really impressed with the location and the reasonable prices for the dresses. The rooms were nice and I enjoyed how each section was a little separate and more intimate. They helped me made customizations to my dress and made some great recommendations for alterations. If you need to find your bridal gown, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out The White Dress first!!

I absolutely loved my experience! Shayla was so helpful. She left to get more dress and we were talking about my dream dress and she’s sensed something because she found it for me! The boutique was absolutely beautiful and everyone there was so nice and caring! Found my dress on my first appointment!

I truly had a fairytale experience finding my dress at The White Dress. I was not expecting to find my dream dress and in my budget but Karly picked out a bunch of different style dresses she thought I would like after getting to know what I was looking for. She was awesome and made sure she didn’t pick out anything that was over my price range.She nailed it and it was the first dress I tried on. Can’t wait to go back and get fitted!!

What an experience! We walked in late one night to look at colors for bridesmaid dresses and 2 days later I’m saying YES TO THE DRESS!! Dedicated personal service, friendly and helpful. My family and friends are scattered around the world so I FaceTimed my mom 7,000 miles away and they helped show the dress to her and discussed the various alterations that can be made. I went in alone while my fiancée waited outside and I feel I made the best choice ever with the help of Carly and the team. Amazing experience... thank you!!!

I entered The White Dress boutique with multiple bridal gown visions in mind. The stylists welcomed my closest friends and I with a glass of campaign. Kelly Iverson warmly introduced herself before she lead us to our private bridal suite. After quickly settling into our suite Kelly genuinely listened to what I was seeking in a wedding gown. With that goal in mind, Kelly lead us to the showroom and thoroughly explained each section of the showroom. After sharing her knowledge she let me look through the gowns along with pulling a few key styles she knew I would like. Like most brides say, this was the most overwhelming part for me, but Kelly made it seamless. My friends and I selected an additional six gowns to add to the collection. Kelly directed me and my friends back to the private suite and we began moving through the collection. The experience was beyond personal and I felt like I could tell Kelly what I LOVED about the gowns and the things I wish I could change. I was so comfortable. I tried on SO many GOWNS and this gave me a true taste of what I wanted. Throughout the whole appointment Kelly was running dresses in and out of the room and catering to the small details. Finding the perfect gown without a doubt was an experience to last a lifetime. I stepped into the almost perfect gown, but I wanted a personal touch to be added to the back. Kelly was excited to help me with that personal touch on the back of my gown and I had FINALLY landed the dress of my dreams. The experience didn't stop there. Kelly shared the excitement when I said "yes to the dress". After the measurements were taken she directed my friends to showroom so we could wrap up the day with all the photos we could have ever asked for. With that being said, thank you Kelly for making this a day I will always remember. Things I loved about my stylist: Kelly was able to provide direction, while accomplishing various tasks. There was never a moment that I thought she was trying to "sale" a gown to me. She was genuine and easy to talk to.

I can’t even begin to describe the level of my gratitude for The White Dress! After making my appointment to try on dresses I had a few questions about dresses I had seen online so I sent a FB message. Amanda (the owner) was so quick to respond and was so helpful! She even sent me another recommendation on a dress similar to what I was looking for and passed all of my questions on to Carly (my bridal stylist) so that she would be prepared when my girls and I got there. From the moment we walked in the door we were all greeted with so many smiles. You could tell the ladies there love what they do! We were offered champagne and taken back to our personal bridal suite by Carly. She asked every question to get an idea of my dream dress. After getting an idea, she walked us through all the dresses, picked up a few of them, and had us pick up a few others we wanted to try. Carly picked all the right dresses and I thought I would have a hard time picking one. Until THE dress came out. The one that Amanda recommended after answering my questions and getting a feel for what I was looking for. Hands down, no question about it, it was The Dress! In between each dress, Carly walked through my journey with me asking about everything! How we met, how did he propose, what does he look like, where’s the wedding, and so many more I can’t even remember (I’m still on cloud nine so it’s hard to remember all of them). It felt like talking to one of my closest girlfriends. It was comfortable. We even hugged after saying “Yes to the dress”. She was amazing! They even helped with picking a necklace to go with the dress. Measurements were taken and then retaken to verify consistency and perfection and then I placed my order. Everything was perfect! If there was only one place I could ever recommend, this would be it! Very classy, very friendly staff! Incredibly clean! Great location! Experience of a lifetime! Look no further, this is the place to go! And I highly recommend working with Carly (I imagine all the other ladies are just as great but my experience was with her). Thank you to everyone at The White Dress for making this one of the most memorable days of my life!

I wouldn't recommend this bridal salon. The store itself is beautiful however they are have a small selection and showroom. The experience I had was terrible; the first time I ever called the consultant was disrespectful. I went in anyways for a trunk show and had my dress selected when I went in and found out the dress was listed $500 more than other locations. My recommendation is to go somewhere else with a larger selection, more helpful consultants and save money!

This was my 3rd stop of the day and I already thought I had made my decision. This was the first place I had gone where I actually got to pick the dresses off the rack I wanted to try on. There was a dress that I really liked but was missing a key detail I had wanted. My consultant, Bri, hunted down something similar and pieced it together to see how it would look, and it sealed the deal. The set-up was very comfortable, and made a great experience! I can't wait to walk down the aisle in such a unique, beautiful dress!

I had my first and only dress shopping appointment at The White Dress recently and it was truly the most amazing experience!! I cannot say enough about the amazing ladies who work there and the beautiful environment you get to be in while choosing your dress! I am still amazed and so happy I came here, you won't need to go anywhere else, or want to! :)

I want to thank my wonderful Bridal stylist, Felisha! She was wonderful and easy to talk to! She made me feel at ease, talked me through some of my thoughts I wasn't sure about, and gave us time to just talk through the dress. I have a hard time making decisions, and she did a wonderful job helping make the decision on my dress!! Thank you Felisha! The White dress was also just a beautiful, accommodating, and wonderful place to wedding shop!

Yesterday I found the dress of my dreams at The White Dress. Bri was my consultant & she made it easy the whole way through. I never felt pressured, rushed or not beautiful. The White Dress has an amazing atmosphere, & while there are lots of ladies trying dresses on & finding their dress, I felt like one of a kind. Finding my dress with them is by far going to be something I’ll positively remember forever.

I found my dream dress here not too long ago and was absolutely blown away by the amazing service and quality of the salon! My stylist was Krystle who was so sweet and very patient with listening to what I envisioned. From the moment we walked into the doors, the girls were all welcoming and offered us beverages while we were waiting to be escorted to our private suite. You just feel like a queen the whole time you're there! They work with your budget and are so kind. You won't regret your experience with this excellent bridal salon; they definitely know what they're doing and are experts. I got all the feels being in there surrounded by soft hues and gorgeous accents. It was one of those moments you remember dreaming about and it was finally happening! Exceptional service, communications and experience at the White Dress. Shayla was my consultant, and she did a wonderful job. She knows what I was looking for better than myself, as I would never have been able to pick "the one" from the rack (they are bridal separates to create a similar look to the Rosa Clara dress I wanted). After the purchase, I had some doubts and contacted the shop. She went above and beyond and helped me get a loaner of the actual Rosa Clara dress I originally wanted. It turns out what Shayla picked for me was better, and that makes me 100% confident and happy with purchase. I can't thank her enough for helping me find the dream wedding gowns.

I went into the white dress last night for my appointment, I had an idea of what I was looking for but wasn’t sure. Tara was amazing, she answered every question i had, helped me find the dresses I had seen online. I tried on a handful of dresses and was stuck on the 1st dress I tried on, she went out and looked for a few more dresses and brought in the first dress I had seen when I walked in and I fell In love with that dress. I ended up walking out with my dream wedding dress!! Thank you so much Tara for helping me find my dream dress and making yesterday such a fun experience!

I loved my experience at The White Dress!! everything I ever hoped for when I would be picking out my wedding dress. To start, myself and the 4 ladies I was with were offered champagne which is my fav :) then I was introduced to Felisha. She was so amazing helping me find my dress, she got it on the first one I tried on! I never thought it would be so easy finding a dress. She really knew exactly what I was looking for and all around is the nicest person and I really enjoyed my visit with her. Thanks so much again!

The salon was beautiful, but the experience I had there was just not what I expected. My consultant was very pushy and gave me a really hard sales pitch even when I was clear that I was not ready to buy. They don't allow you to take any pictures, which really sucks. It meant I couldn't properly look at the back of the dresses or see how they photographed. It also meant that I couldn't look back at the dresses after I left and remember what I liked about each one. In the end I think that is a mistake on their part. When I did buy my dress, it was partially because I just kept looking at the pictures over and over again and fell in love with the way it looked on me! I bought my dress at Ania Bridal, where the consultant was extremely sweet. There was no pressure, we could take all the pictures we wanted, and they seemed so genuinely happy for me. At The White Dress I just felt like another customer. The White Dress was a very pretty salon with lots of beautiful dresses, but the atmosphere was quite stuffy and there is a lot of pressure on you to buy the dress that day. I wouldn't recommend it.

The White Dress did an excellent job with helping me find the perfect wedding gown! They listened to what I was searching for, and were able to pull dresses that fit my look and budget.

I had an amazing and easy experience at The White Dress because of Kelly, an amazing bridal stylist. We arrived at the same time as a lot of big groups so it was a bit chaotic (I just had three people including my mom--I don't need 11 opinions!), but we were offered champagne promptly and greeted by Kelly within about 10 minutes of our appointment time. I had a few ideas of what I didn't want, and a budget, but that was about it. I didn't think I would actually buy a dress that day, but figured I would look to get an idea of what looked good on me. My friends, mom and I pulled a few things we liked and gave Kelly free rein to pick whatever she thought would look good on me. Within just a couple of dresses Kelly had figured out what I liked and didn't like, and pulled a few more. The seventh or so dress I tried on (one she picked that I never would have pulled for myself) was the absolute perfect dress that brought my best friend to tears. Because it was our first appointment we got 15% off which was a huge help. She made the payment process quick and easy and answered all my new-bride questions with patience and excitement. What a huge asset The White Dress has in Kelly. The only thing we thought was odd is that you can't take pictures of the dresses until you've committed to one, then you can take pictures of that one. It wasn't a huge issue for us, but would be tricky if you were hoping to go home and think about the options. Overall I would recommend any bride go to The White Dress--it is such a fun and unique experience. And I would absolutely recommend Kelly!!

My expectations were completely blown away and was so impressed with the delightful, friendly and caring service that myself and my two best friends received from Krystle, my bridal stylist. I️ went in a little nervous after reading some of the reviews written by other brides, but could not express enough how my experience was so different and so special. We thought the dresses were all gorgeous, the samples are expected to be imperfect as they get tried on several times a day by all body sizes... even still the samples I️ tried on were still so beautiful. I️ reference this because I️ had read a review that the dresses were damaged and dirty — that was not what I️ experienced at all. They were very clean with very minimal wear. Krystle, my stylist knew exactly how to guide my journey on this overwhelming feat of trying on wedding dresses when I had no idea what style of dress I️ wanted. I️ loved how the dresses were separated by style on the racks, it made it so easy to find the dresses that I️ wanted to try on. She really listened to me and heard what I️ wanted. She also listened to my friends, which was important to me. We were welcomed with champagne and cared for throughout the experience. I️ found my dress, not expecting to and loved that they offered the 15% off discount if you find a dress on the same day as your appointment. They gave me a folder to keep all of the info and paperwork together in and they gave me an adorable present before leaving, a sweet little white tank that says “I️ do” in gold foil. They pay attention to detail and they made me feel authentically beautiful. Thank you.

We had a fabulous experience at The White Dress! I was very nervous about wedding dress shopping and finding a dress that matched my style and comfort. I am not a dress person nor do I like shopping, but Krystal made our experience so easy and super fun! Everyone at The White Dress was very accommodating, honest and patient! And my dress came early, so plenty of time for alterations! Would highly recommend!

I found my dress at The White Dress, and from the fitting to the pickup, to purchasing some of my bridal jewelry there I can't say enough good things about my experience! The ambiance of the shop is relaxing, and the dressing suites are gorgeous! I worked with Shayla and she was fabulous - very helpful, easy going, and patient. She did a great job of staying in touch to update me on the status of both my dress and the jewelry I ordered through them. She also referred me to a streamstress for alterations who did a great job. I was thrilled with my entire experience at the White Dress and will definitely recommend them to other brides in the future. An added bonus is the Smart Park just across the street, as downtown parking isn't always easy to find!

I had a GREAT experience at The White Dress! Lisa and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help me find "the dress" for my April wedding. Didn't feel pressured at all, and they worked hard to keep me within my budget. I would highly recommend The White Dress!
