Very gorgeous venue. They we very professional and made sure the night went without a hitch.
We got married there in May and it was so beautiful. Lori was amazing. She is so on top of everything. I never waited for a response from her. She was available via phone and email and responsive to both. We has 167 total guests and it was a great size venue.
I LOVED this venue since I laid my eyes on it! I was supposed to shop around when I was looking for a venue but I fell in love and it was the first local venue I toured. Lori and Rolando are kind and straight to the point. I trusted them as professionals as they're in the business and know how it operates. I let them do their part and I did mine. I've heard/read negative reviews but I have not one single negative thing to say. My wedding was flawless. Lori even assisted me by bustling my dress and safety pinned it after someone stepped on it. They are amazing and the venue reflects it. I also LOVE that they serve as day-of coordinators. This ensured that everything ran smoothly. I definitely recommend it.
This is a fantastic venue! We got married here this past May and it was absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments from our family and friends! Lori and Rolando are so friendly, as are their staff, and their hard work and dedication to their clients and venue shows through and through. The grounds are kept in spotless condition and staff was constantly checking bathrooms and making sure everything was well maintained throughout the night. We're so glad we chose this venue!
The ONLY reason we're not giving them a 5-star is because there were times when we felt they weren't completely accommodating. Not necessarily to us, but to our vendors. They can be very strict on what's allowed and what's not. I wouldn't let that scare anyone away though, just read your contract thoroughly and don't hesitate to ask questions to clarify. I emailed Lori quite a few times and requested some venue visits throughout the planning process and she was always quick to reply. We also had some unique and very LARGE decor pieces that I could tell Lori was a bit concerned about. In the end, we worked it out just fine and were able to find a solution to accommodate them.
My only other note(s) is that I would highly recommend making sure your caterer makes a visit to see the venue before the big day, if they're not familiar with it. Depending on your set up and what your menu involves, the caterer could potentially have a tough time because there's not much prep area. Second, they max at 250 guests, but that is a TIGHT squeeze. We had about 180 and fit comfortably. I probably wouldn't have wanted any more than that, just based on the space available for tables, but it's all based on your preference. Just keep in mind when you go over that 200 mark you could be in pretty tight quarters.
I just had my wedding here on 10/19. The venue is absolutely beautiful which make the perfect set up for an outdoor wedding without requiring a lot of extra rental items to create a romantic atmosphere. Prior to the wedding, I met with Lori to discuss where the tables were to be set up and what vendors I was planning to use. Lori recommended we obtain the table linens from the caterer the day before so we could save a few hours of labor costs on caterings since the table linens have to be down prior to the flowers.
On the day of, Lori was extremely helpful. She provided us with water and kept me up to date on how all the vendors were doing with set up while I hung out in the bridal suite with the bridal party getting hair and makeup done. We had a shuttle service for guests from a hotel in Clovis and she followed up with the service to verify the buses had left and to confirm their estimated arrival time to the site. Also, the florist we used did an excellent job and her arrangements were absolutely perfect. She left extra flowers in case we needed and it turned we did to make a tossing bouquet. For some reason we could not find the original, so Lori took some of the extra flowers and some ribbon I had and made me a perfect tossing bouquet. She really made the extra effort to help us have a wonderful day.
One thing that surprised me was when she said we had to clean up at the end of the evening at our final consultation meeting; I thought that would be a lot of work. It was not, all she meant was we needed to take our gifts home, any decorations we brought such as guest book, photos, and personnel items, left over cake (which the caterer packaged to take home easily). Our vendors worked with Tuscan Gardens to pick up any of their items; such as the caterer took all the linens, plates, etc. with them at the end of the night and the florist arranged a time to come back to get her candle holders and vases. We left right at 10 when our car came to pick us up and our families were done loading and leaving the site 20 minutes later. They had no complaints. To top off the end of the night, Rolando, pack a dinner plate for two to go for my husband and me to have in case we did not get to eat during the wedding. It was a very wonderful touch at the end of the night.
Tuscan Gardens was a wonderful wedding venue. Lori kept everything going smoothly the day of my wedding. I didnt have to worry about anything. We had our ceremony and reception a few weeks ago, I was happy with everything.
Tuscan Gardens was the perfect venue for my husband and I. From the bride and groom rooms to the beautiful outside setting and the helpfulness of Lori and Rolando (the owners), it was a wonderful place for our reception.
Overall I think Tuscan Gardens was a perfect outdoor Venue. My husband and I are glad we picked it.
It is a little on the higher side but we loved that we were able to choose our caterer, dj, photographer, etc and were not contracted to a list. The owners are very helpful!!! We loved everything about this venue!
TG is a beautiful place. Great for photo opportunities.. The one thing that bugged me was they are very strict and barely work around their schedule for you (I didn't live in the same city). Our wedding was great, but for the amount of money spent on the venue vs how much we had to bring in ourselves was a little much an not giving us much time to set up in the morning or not at all the day before. I understand that it is a privately owned venue but for the amount of money given--there needs to be a little more slack. The wedding was amazing though :)
very friendly &accommodating. Venue was beautiful.
