We enjoyed working with Two Pair. They were very responsive and communicative in the days leading up to the wedding. We were happy with the quick turnaround and the wide variety of photos they sent us. They're great at trying to capture candid moments. We've had the photos for over a month and we're still processing and going through them all because there are so many great ones to choose from.

We had Two Pair Photography take our engagement photos and wedding day photos. Marisa was amazing from our engagement photo shoot to the actual wedding day. Chad and Tressie were very responsive and had our photos ready very quickly. On the wedding Marisa was great about capturing the moments without being intrusive, we didn’t eve notice we had cameras pointed at us most of the time, lots of great candid photos and we got all the shots we wanted as well. We are glad we chose Two Pair to document our day!

Lilly Schmaltz: Two Pair was amazing and captured our wedding perfectly! We had our engagement shoot with Chad, a bridal shoot with Tressie, and then Chad and Kelly shot our wedding. We were immediately comfortable with everyone and they made us feel like family. As an Asian woman, I am often concerned with how photographers will capture my skin on camera and I can honestly say I was blown away by Two Pair’s work. Our family and friends agree that everyone looks incredible and Two Pair did a wonderful job capturing everything while also giving us space to have fun and be ourselves. Lastly, Kelly was asked to sub in as a second photographer due to extenuating circumstances. I had not met her before, but immediately felt safe and loved having her shoot our getting ready shots and wedding. In turns out, Kelly and I had already run in the same circles and attend the same events. I genuinely appreciated Two Pair finding a substitute that I could relate to and it ended up working out perfectly. We have enjoyed working with everyone so much and our waiting for another life event so we can work with them again!

After coming across them on Instagram, we immediately fell in love with Chad and Tressie ‘s work and the warmth and joy they capture in their photos. They did not disappoint! Two Pair Photography stepped in to shoot our wedding when our original photographer couldn't make it because of covid. We were beyond happy with their work, and we are extremely grateful that they stepped in for us. Megan was fantastic and very funny - her jokes helped my husband and me relax through the many hours of photography, and we had so much fun with her. We could not recommend Two Pair Photography enough. Their work is beautiful, and Megan was lovely.

Chad and Tressie brought every moment we wanted memorialized to life. From flying out to take our engagement photos in DC, meeting Alyssa around her busy schedule for her bridal portraits and capturing each perfect moment at the wedding. They beat our expectations at every turn. On wedding day, we had no concerns that everything would go smoothly with them on our vendor team. Tressie captured and brought to life the close relationships Alyssa has with her bridesmaids, and Chad was constantly buzzing around the groom’s suite, grabbing classic memories, but was essentially sight unseen. We are blown away by the gorgeous ceremony photos that truly showed the vision we had for our wedding day and brought to life the energy of our amazing NYE wedding and all our guests on and off the dance floor. Chad and Tressie were very easy to work with. They even met my fiance feel comfortable which is hard. They felt like they were part of the wedding! I can't wait to hire them again.

We were referred to Chad & Tressie by our florist, Flora Fetish, and I couldn’t say enough good things about our experience with them and all of the beautiful photos we now have from our engagement session and wedding day. We decided early on that we didn’t want a videographer and so it was very important to me that we had two photographers on the day so that all the special moments could be captured. We knew from our first email exchange that Chad & Tressie were going to be so fun to work with. We met Chad at our engagement session in Dallas and neither my husband nor I had experienced a professional photo session before and we were a little nervous. Chad did an amazing job at getting us to feel relaxed, laugh and it ended up being a really fun experience. Both Chad & Tressie were with us on our wedding day in Austin they were just like part of the family. Outside of our coordinator they were the vendor we spent the most time with and their warmth and humor kept us grounded in those special moments throughout a very fast-paced and crazy day. We got all of the photos we wanted and of course plenty of unexpected ones that we are obsessed with. I could write a novel about these two so definitely check them out - you won’t regret it!!

We had the great pleasure of working with Two Pair Photography as our wedding photographer! Upon first meeting, we learned very quickly that this duo was dedicated to our vision, and capturing the essence of unique our love story. These two are incredibly talented at making even the most uncomfortable person in front of the camera, comfortable. We worked with Two Pair for our engagement and wedding photos. I could not be happier with the results. I have been looking at them daily since we received. They capture the emotion, joy and feel of the event so well. Most everything I wanted captured was. Everyone is incredibly happy with the photos - I truly love them. I will say that of our vendors Two Pair was the most difficult to work with, although not bad, when we had to push the date date back during the pandemic. Additionally photos did take quite awhile to come back (a little more than 3 months), with no first looks. Would love to work with again.

When my husband and I started research for photographers for our wedding, our venue, The Allan House, had Two Pair as an approved vendor. We looked through their work online and felt like it would be a great fit for us on our wedding day! We met with Chad ahead of time before finalizing the contract, and it was so easy to chat with him, and see his passion for photography. We hired Two Pair, and we are ecstatic for the quality of pictures that came from both our engagement shoot and wedding. During the engagement shoot, and during the wedding, Two Pair continued to put us at ease, and would crack jokes to help us remain relaxed throughout the day. It is so amazing to look at their fantastic work and see the love, and goofiness my husband and I have for each other. Would absolutely hire again!

The photos are one of the few things you have from your wedding day, and Two Pair's photos of my husband and my wedding were...art(?). My husband and I are not photogenic, but Tressie and Chad made us feel comfortable and were able to capture our happiness.

We had the HUGE privilege of working with Chad for our engagement shoot, Tressie for my Boudoir, and both for our wedding on 10/10 - they were incredibly flexible and so much fun to plan our big moments with, and our photos (so far - can't wait to see the wedding!) are jaw-droppingly beautiful. Two Pair came highly recommended by my daughter's wedding planner for good reason! Not only is their work beautiful, but Chad and Tressie are awesome to work with. They are so nice, flexible, creative and were genuinely excited to be a part of their wedding day which was in June, right as things started 'reopening' from Covid. Def 10/10!

I cannot say enough good things about this photographer pair! My bridal photos turned out better than expected and they were super fun and flexible to work with. We had to reschedule multiple times with COVID and they were very understanding. They answered all emails/texts/calls very promptly and have such a great, chill attitude in dealing with their clients. I felt very laid back and comfortable during the photo shoot and had so much fun. I would strongly recommend using these two for any photography sessions you have coming up. My husband and I worked with Chad and Tressie at Two Pair Photography for our wedding at The Joule in Dallas, TX in October of 2019. We chatted with a lot of photographers and while some were great, no one was really getting us excited. Chad and Tressie weren’t based in Dallas where we live, so we sat down for our video meeting with them feeling a bit deflated after our experiences with other photographers. However, once we started chatting, we knew we had found our photographers. Chad and Tressie are an amazing husband and wife couple who are passionate about photography and celebrating love. When you work with Two Pair Photography, you don’t get just one amazing photographer...but two! This really sets them apart. Most photographers will bring a second shooter if you ask, but we learned it isn’t necessarily someone they always work with. Sure, they may know their second shooter, and you could have a great experience! However, we picked Chad and Tressie because we connected with them. We loved their style, they way they captured special moments when no one was looking, and the way their photos radiated the love everyone felt at the wedding. A random second shooter just wouldn’t do for us! From the moment we started communicating with them, Chad and Tressie were professional, responsive, attentive, organized, and extremely friendly. They worked with us for planning spots for the engagement shoot and day of the wedding photos. When it was time to take our day-of wedding photos, we realized we weren’t going to have time to venture to our pre-chosen location in Dallas. This could have been the making for some pretty average photos, but not with Chad and Tressie. They quickly saved the day and took photos in and around our wedding venue that I would honestly say look better than anything we could have taken at our original locations. They are quick on their feet, adaptable to change, and even if it is on the fly in a location they didn’t plan for, can capture amazing images. These are the signs of true professionals. Also for any LGBT+ Dallas couples looking for a photographer, Chad and Tressie are more than just photographers that “do gay weddings”. There is a big difference between someone who “does gay weddings” and someone who supports and celebrate your love like Chad and Tressie will. This is important to mention because we struggled finding vendors/reviews who explicitly stated this during our planning process. We always felt totally comfortable being ourselves around these two because they celebrate love and capture it for a living regardless of who it is you love. No matter where you live, Two Pair Photography will do an amazing job. A final note- when you hire Chad and Tressie, they will take every photo you ask for. But...we would also suggest that you let them take control a bit. Let them take photos when you aren’t looking and aren’t posing. We can guaranteed you these will be the photos that you will truly cherish and show you just how incredible they are at what they do.

Tressie and Chad exceeded our expectations in so many ways! Our wedding was in California, and they gladly flew out to photograph our wedding day. This husband and wife photography team is nothing short of the best. We had searched around online for months looking for a photographer who fit our budget and who captured unique, fun, and beautiful moments in a beautiful, visually pleasing way. We finally stumbled upon Two Pair. When we saw their portfolio online, we were amazed at the beauty and uniqueness of their work. You can see and feel the emotion of the moment in the photograph which is hard to find in a lot of standard wedding photographers. We liked that their style didn’t look trendy or hip for right now but that it looked timeless. Once we booked with them, it was such a pleasure to work with them. They truly do work in tandem to capture every angle of every special moment. Chad did our engagement shoot and we had an absolute blast with him. He made us laugh and be silly to capture the fun moments and then he got us to be romantic to capture the essence of our love. Tressie was there for our rehearsal brunch and she captured the mingling of the family and the tears during the video just perfectly. I found Chad + Tressie (Two Pair) via Instagram a few weeks after we got engaged. I loved all of their photos, and sent them weekly to my then-fiancé. From the moment we met via facetime to the wedding day, they were both so pleasant and energetic, and we knew we would have a wonderful experience with them. Chad did our engagement photos a month before our wedding, and they turned out beautifully. It was so nice to get to know Chad a little bit pre-wedding, and it made us even more excited for the wedding day to come. Come wedding day, we woke up to a tornado warning, torrential downpour, and Chad + Tressie were champs. They were so flexible and adapted to our changed venues and timeline with ease. Tressie came to our hotel suite to photograph the girls, and she was a pro- there were a lot of women with emotions and she was so calm and professional, it really helped me enjoy the moments! Our biggest emphasis to Chad + Tressie was that we just wanted to feel like ourselves, and wanted to have a fun, carefree, and candid wedding; they were able to catch everything, and it honestly felt like our friends were taking photos throughout the day. I wish they let us give more than 5 stars, because if we could give them 10 stars we would. Chad and Tressie are incredible!!!! We had our engagement, wedding, and Italian honeymoon photographed with them. From our first emails, we could tell that they were extremely talented, and truly cared about our wedding. Not to mention the coolest people we know! Being in front of their camera we felt extremely comfortable, both Chad and Tressie have a way of making you feel like long lost friends. As most married couples know the wedding day is pretty hectic and overwhelming. We have been to weddings where the photographers were overbearing. Chad and Tressie could not have been more of the opposite (we didn't even know they were there) and they delivered over 1,000 beautiful photos to us. They captured everything, from the important wedding moments, to the derpy dance moves, they didn't miss a thing! Not only did they surpass our expectations for the wedding, Tressie met up with us on our honeymoon in Italy and took some of the most breathtaking and cherished photos that we have. I have a special place in my heart for Tressie and Chad. We honestly lucked into them when another photographer wasn't available and told us to check these guys out. I am so so so so so so so so so happy that we did. Tressie and Chad are genuine people and they are laid back but also get the job done. They took our engagements, my bridals, and shot our wedding and everyone, and I mean everyone, has commented on how awesome our photos are. And that's because they are. Chad and Tressie capture both sides. They capture the emotion and how you are feeling on your big day, but they also capture those "must have photos" for your mom and grandma. They also are quick and efficient so that way you can enjoy your wedding without being stuck taking an hour or more taking family wedding photos. My husband and I both have giant families and they knocked out taking pictures of all sides in less than 20 minutes, giving our family time to enjoy cocktail hour. They also are so willing to travel and do something fun and different. Their style is unmatched. I cherish my wedding photos and I look at them every single day right now. If you want your photos to capture the raw emotion, and also just be down right beautiful and authentic, then these are the photographers for you. Above all, they are just good people. Solid people. Chad and Tressie are amazing. Making Catie and I comfortable posing for pictures is no small task and they crushed it. More importantly, the photographs they took are incredible. My cousin started sharing them with people who weren't even at the wedding because they looked so good and one of Catie's friends booked them for her own wedding. It's amazing which shots they know to look for, which they manage to find, and how much of the spirit and feeling they were able to capture while making us look like bonafide celebrities.

I absolutely loved working with these two. They are literally the best humans and obviously take incredibly beautiful photographs. I DID NOT want the typical formal posed-style pictures but our family members did and somehow Chad and Tressie managed to make our moms happy while taking up as little time at our reception as possible. It was miraculous. Our first look was one of my favorite memories of the whole day. How Tressie managed to kick everyone out so it could be just my me and my fiance, I will never know, but I appreciate her SO MUCH for making it happen. Taking pictures around our venue before the ceremony felt like a fun adventure AND they even put up with creative suggestions from our "helpful" bridesmaids. I loved that we got to know Chad during the engagement shoot, so by the time it came to our wedding it felt like we were old pals. Chad and Tressie are both just so cool and fun and it made such a difference in our day to have them keeping us sane and reminding us to be present. Chad and Tressie are THE BEST! Having them around on our wedding day was just like having two extra friends who happened to have cameras with them. I even had friends and family tell me how great they were. And besides being fantastic humans, our pictures were gorgeous! Best husband and wife team ever! We were looking for photographers who shared our ideas about bright and old pictures since the recent trend is pastel and vintage looking (which is not me at all). They are great at capturing candid moments and were super fast with our family pictures so we could get back to partying! They were super responsive to email and phone calls and they have great package deals! The only thing I would like would be a preview of our wedding photos since I am so excited to see the finished products!!!

My journey with Two Pair was a unique one. I was so excited to work with Chad and Tressie and from the start their communication with me was amazing! The best out of all the vendors I made inquiries to about working with. We set the date and secured Two pair as our photographers. We had our engagements set to take but rain made us have to cancel the date. Then the unthinkable happened for any bride…. My fiancé called off our wedding. I know you think it would never happen to… and I can tell you I certainly thought it would never happen to me. So I began the unfortunate experience of “undoing” a wedding. Now I understand contracts and the need to take care of your family and feed and clothe them, but Two Pair did not take ONE picture for me and I still had to pay them $3500. It was the contracted amount but there was no working with me in this unfortunate situation and no offering to take any other kind of pictures for me to at least get something for my money. I write this to caution you… their contract is binding in no ifs, ands, or butts. I am sure their work is amazing although I did not get to experience it personally, but I did have to pay for it 100% regardless. Be careful on your wedding journey when signing contracts with vendors. Hopefully my situation will never happen to you, but the sting continues when you have to keep writing significant checks long after the ring is off your finger.

Our photographers Tressie and Chad were more than just incredible professionals- we now consider them friends. They did an amazing job on our engagement session, and even though we haven't seen our wedding pictures yet, I have complete faith that they will be perfect. These two are the real deal, and worth every penny. Their photography is gorgeous, creative and unique!

Chad and Tressie of Two Pair are freaking AWESOME! They take the best pictures and they're just great people. They make you feel so comfortable and they have really fun and different ideas for pictures. I highly recommend them!

Photography is just expensive, period. Tressie and Chad are incredible! They are fun and make each person feel beautiful and special. Their pictures are fabulous! They travel anywhere and obviously love their job. They are on time, but it might take a little time to get proofs back. This is because they are so busy. They are great to work with, and I would definitely use them over and over and over...and probably will for anything I need photography for in the future :)
